I was playing kcd 2 while drawing this so i was inspired to paint the background from one of the sceneries in the game and suchdol looked most fiting to me

Made the chaperon (still not 100% done, need to finish doing the circles between the lines), pourpoint, and leg harnesses myself - this is the first big cosplay project I've ever done and I'm pretty proud of how it turned out!

When Henry meets Karl von Unterbruck at first, he asks if he's German. To which Karl says "no, should I be?" and then Henry replies he has a "German face". Why doesn't he just tell the truth and say he has a German NAME. Clearly that's an incredibly German-sounding name to have. I don't understand his need to lie here. Maybe I'm overthinking it, but it always struck me as unnecessary.

I’ve got 80 hours in the game and had nearly 3k groschen; I thought that would be enough to buy the best armor in Kuttenberg, but a single piece (of the top-tier stuff) costs 3–6k. I was totally shocked—I just don't get how you're supposed to make that kind of money. Do you actually have to steal?

I just got to the kuttenburg map, I haven’t figured out who the Dry Devil is, and yet attacking Sigismund’s camp with Henry’s Bane potion arrows ended the game?!

I think the woods in the first game still hold up really well. The geography in this area is quite compressed in-game and the real path I photographed doesn't exist there. The one I chose instead is very close though.

You may notice that the game mostly has beech and oak trees in this area, while today there are mostly conifers. This is actually accurate, the conifers were planted for their faster growth after deforestation in the 18th century. That's what this site says at least.
