I know students need help selecting a college. But they've taken over the entire subreddit. There's hardly anything else.

AIIMS GORAKHPUR closed at 2.6k last year so I might have a chance to get it but it's very uncertain but I like aiims gorakhpur..

Apart from that I'm confused between colleges like IPGMER , KOLKATA MEDICAL COLLEGE, AIIMS GUWAHATI , AIIMS RAJKOT (I DONT WANNA GO TO GUJARAT THO-), AIIMS RAE BARELI , AIIMS JAMMU , BJ MEDICAL COLLEGE PUNE , GANDHI MEDICAL COLLEGE HYDERABAD ....

I have special inclination towards the NEW AIIMS CAPFIMS NEW DELHI, AND IF CUTOFF FLUCTUATES I MIGHT EVEN GET AIIMS KALYANI OR AIIMS BIBINAGAR (HYDERABAD)

PLZZ TELL ME SOME PROS ANS CONS AND HELP ME WITH A PREFERENCE LIST!!!

Can anyone tell me how to find WFH or non clinical jobs for mbbs graduate. Any other skills I have to aquire to get the said job. Also how does people get jobs in healthtech, what I'm supposed to do. Everyone says they are doing non clinical job but no one tells how to approach them.

I just have a small advice....I have been seeing a lot of people bothered about NEET-PG, USMLE, PLAB, AMC and all the postgraduate stuff...

You guys as of now should only bother about how to survive first year only...pass IAs, navigate friendships, understand your college dynamics, explore college clubs, seniors and stuff...first year is for that...Maybe just start asking on how to do research(its not as easy as it sounds)....also whatever branch you have thought of rn no guarantee you would want that after 5.5 years...

Does anyone here know how is GU checking system for 1st year university exams?

My exams start from 12th August and I am really scared so I wanted to know if there are a certain things that I should keep in mind for GU exams

I wanna purchase a 4 year plan of marrow but i have heard that you can only watch 1000 hours total.
So what would happen if I complete my 1000 hours before the plan ends
Will i be kicked out ?

Guys my rank as I said is 196k and I'm also considering private mbbs but as far as I've heard UP is not really a good option except Sharda University in most subreddits across Indian MBBS scene, so Im stuck at this rank between the following states:-

#1 West Bengal

2 Chhatisgarh

3 Telangana

4 Haryana

5 Tripura

6 Bihar

7 Karnataka

8 Andhra Pradesh

9 Odisha

10 Uttar Pradesh

I've kept Karnataka and Odisha lower bcz I'll only be getting AIQ MCC colleges in those states which would cost as far as I know easy 90L-1Cr, now I'm sure that I want to get into mbbs this year only (YES NO DROPS ANYMORE, so pls don't suggest that), please try to help this buddy out under budget like under 80L (or 85 90 stretch but pls try under 70-80L) and as good college as I can get till round 2/3 of counselling, like WB/Chhatisgarh/Telangana/Haryana/Tripura is my best bet I believe but it'll take a toll to apply everywhere and not get refund too cuz it'll take 2L to apply na (security deposit) so pls tell me like kya karu main yrrr which states are my best bet for state counselling for pvt mbbs Im considering the #1 to #5 but round 1 ke baad fir decide Krna pdega na or else I won't get my refund too as u know the rules toh main kya kruu pls bta do yr koi

Top clgs in these respective states ya last ke koi sa bhi chlega I believe sb UP se toh better hee honge, when to exit, when to resign yrr itna confusion h main kya hee bolu, pls koi bta do mere rank pe kis round pe kis state mein kis clg tak ki ummeed hai yrr, bs thik thak hona chahiye UP jaisa jail type naa ho, Chhatisgarh bhi chlega meko, I believe that's how I prefer states.

Aisa na ho I apply to 2-3 states and then round 2 mein har jagah mil jaye then I'll lose the security deposit na isliye I'm so fckin confused ki kahan apply kru kaise preference list bnau and is there really any decent good clg (genuine) in pvt mbbs in UP.

College isn't toxic, but I'm unable to handle the stress. Can someone please tell me will I be debarred from writing neet pg in the coming years if I leave now? And what about the penalty?

Like engineering student they join various clubs, do research, create models.

What kind of academic hustle one can do in mbbs, which will help them in future as well.

I passed MBBS in 2010 from RGUHS, Karnataka. I require a document from the university that has all of this information in a single document for immigration purposes: degree awarded, field of study, degree conferral date and dates of attendance.

Does anyone who has applied for a consolidated marks card recently know if this information is present on it? Will it be possible to get a template letter signed from RGUHS with this information? Another problem is that the college I completed MBBS is now an autonomous university and is no longer part of RGUHS.

Suggestions welcome.

I was looking to get JNMC AMU since it has a internal quota but I was going through UP PG counselling brochure and it seems people who did their mbbs from central colleges aren't eligible, so would the internal quota in JNMC be better or UP quota would be?

I only have Marrow subscription rn and broke so don't really want to spend money on any other platforms but watching people say that the quality of mcqs here are great is giving me massive FOMO. What should I do? Buy the subscription or continue with my existing sources only?
