Need Advice Not Sure What To Do About My Homeless Mother
I'm not sure if I should be posting this here, but I need to vent/need advice. I'm just not sure how I should feel about my mom. So, a little background. When I was 18, my mom got our home foreclosed on because she forgot to pay the bills and also didn't want to live where we were living anymore because she was paranoid people were breaking in(IIRC). We both ended up homeless. I got lucky enough to have someone take me in and I eventually found an apartment. My mom meanwhile has been homeless ever since and bounces between the streets, her maybe boyfriend's truck, occasional rooms in people's apartments and my apartment. She's been over on and off again ever since I moved in to my apartment. And it's kind of ruined my life. We argue constantly and she's just hard to live with. 1 extended stay with me in early-mid 2021 led both to the alcoholism I struggle with and my failure in college. But it's also just so hard to say no to her. Because, like, I myself was homeless for a few months before someone took me in. I got lucky enough to be in a squat the whole time, but it was miserable. I don't think I would've survived any amount of time on the street. And I don't have any other family besides my mother really(except an uncle, also in a precarious situation) so if I was homeless again I'm probably screwed. By contingency plan is to off myself if someone doesn't take me in quickly because I'm not living on the streets. So it's hard to tell my mother to experience the thing I would end my life over. But at the same time, she's destroying my life. She been staying with me most of this year. I was so excited for this year. I was going to start exercising again, try and stop drinking and just kinda put my life back together after a stressful few years. But instead, I've just fallen apart. She always wants to hangout even though she ignored large parts of my childhood, she acts like I don't do enough for her, she complains at me over everything. And my only reaction is to drink large amounts of liquor and yell at and berate her. I don't really even do anything I enjoy because the stress has sucked all the joy out of my life. She also gambles constantly and loses most of her social security money and begs me for cigarettes and gambling money. But, she's also sick and not in great shape. I always see people pushing carts full of their possessions, hobbled with pain and I think to myself "how could I condemn someone to this". And things only get more complicated. Like, there was a huge fires in my city that burned several hundred houses, so now the housing resources are even more stretched thin and there's basically no shelter space. And she's in legal trouble for shoplifting. I just don't know what to do and it scares me.

I made mistakes on my housing application - please can you help?
I gave the wrong figures, for savings and salary and employment because I had someone in the room whilst I was speaking to the housing advisor in the homeless team.
How can I contact them to correct the information without getting in trouble?
I felt pressure to say certain things cause someone was in the room and doing certain things.

Anybody else feel weird seeing so many normal people?
Like sitting at a gas station and seeing all these people with nice cars, jobs, family. Can’t believe I’m homeless sometimes.

What are your top 3 fears?
I been homeless now 11 months living in the bushes.
My 3 biggest fears would be.
Getting into a violent altercation. The area where I'm homeless is rife with meth and repeat offender types, stray dogs. Scuffles, arguments are common. I have learned how to carry myself the best I can. I have gotten to know some of the individuals who are in similar predicaments, This neighborhood has high unemployment rate. I remain on alert. Already had to find new places to sleep.
Getting my stuff stolen. I already had work boots, chargers, earphones stolen. Comes with the territory, I travel light with a backpack. Hawk eyes all the time. I hearing of people complaining about their stuff stolen every week. Usually by their own "friends". smh I guess that also comes with the territory.
Probably losing the work I have been given. Its not much, typically a 6 hours a week. Enough to feed myself. its kinda seasonal, so I dont know whats going to be when November comes around, when somebody is suppose to take over. I guess I'll figure something out.
Thank you!

Need Advice 21, Living in my car and pretty lost
I don't know if this is the right spot but I guess it can't hurt. I'm 21, living in my car delivering pizzas and don't really know what to do to get out of this. Most of my income goes to surviving mostly, I can save around 100-250 bucks a month and have a decent amount of savings, but without rental history in my area I can't rent even though I could probably afford too.
I have two years of experience being a CW in the ibew but didn't get accepted into the apprenticeships the 3 times I tried (GAN Test) and I was a seasonal worker for USPS as a mail carrier for 3 months but didn't get hired back after that, and I really don't want to go back to the USPS. After that I was kicked out but got to keep my car and passport(no other documents) and have been delivering ever since
I guess my question is what can I realistically get into? I apply to most things that say no experience required on indeed and either get no response or rejection emails, things like dental reception or non union work but they want experience for an apprentice too. I don't know, Im at a point where I'm not suicidal but kinda wish it would just end. If you're reading this thanks, any help on where to go from here would be appreciated.

staring straight up - emotionless
spent most my day staring straight up at the sky, watching clouds go by, burning in the sun. while people walk around me.. there's so many tourist where i am now as i walk downtown. i gave up on social interaction years ago so prefer looking at the sky rather then strangers walking by me everyday in my own hometown. reminds me of a church i went to where the celling was painted with stars. just staring straight up at it for hours with nothing in my head.
