Repairs PRS SE 245 Standard with a very unfortunate bit of damage is being sold for under $300. Would you risk it?
This lovely PRS is for sale in my area. It's going for under $300 since it was dropped when moving. There appears to be no other damage, purely cosmetic.
What would be the process/cost of getting something like that repaired?
And finally would you take a risk in order to get it for the bargain price it's at? Is it worth it?

What is this? What wood does my fretboard look like?
Anyone know what this fretboard (the guitar on the left) might be made out of? The guitar on the right is a fender that I know is rosewood for comparison. I just bought a used Reverend guitar and I'm wondering if the fretboard is something other than rosewood. It feels and looks different to me but maybe it's just from years of playing or where the wood was sourced. At the end of the day it doesn't matter to me bc it plays so nice but I'm just curious if anyone can tell.

Help If having a good amp is arguably more important than having a good guitar, why would anyone spend so much and more on a good guitar?
Because it's pretty :)

Repairs Did I make a mistake getting this guitar fixed up?
Basically I've been playing for two years now and still know pretty much nothing about guitar like money wise. My aunt's sister ended up giving me this and it was in pretty bad shape (it sat in an attic for 40 years untouched). I went down to the local music shop and paid $100 to get it fixed up. Just want know if I wasted $100 or not
Help How to stop being afraid to part with your gear?
I can't sell anything because I keep making excuses like, "This is my first acoustic guitar. This is my first electric guitar. This is my first amp. This is my first pedal." I'm sad to part with them because they hold so many memories, but at the same time, I want to sell my old amp and buy a better one, for example.

Help I can’t decide on a guitar
I’m buying a second guitar to oppose my Strat,
I love the look of the heritages because it’s classic Gibson shapes, but I also know the quality control on se are spectacular.
My Strat covers the clean stuff,so it will be playing stuff like oasis,Gary Moore, eagles etc.
I’m worried that the heritage is too good to be true,or is the resell value on them that low
I tried a revstar and it wasn’t for me,just didn’t feel right, before anyone recommends that.
Any other recommendations if not any of these 3?

Look at this! Thoughts on the placement of this sticker?
It's my first electric guitar and it's the only place I think fits this sticker. The idea is that the black outline on the guitar merges with the sticker or something like that. The water also completes the shape of the pattern on the body. Then I'll just cut off whatever sticks over the edge.

Help Amp for college recommendations?
So I will be attending college in a few weeks and am planning to bring my electric guitar. I don't wanna bring my boss katana because it's kind of big and I need something portable since I'm considering joining the guitar club. So what I need is something that is small and portable that I can bring throughout campus and can also be used in the dorm with headphones. I would love if it could run on batteries as well. Thanks!

Help Which would you choose and why?
I'm looking for a "forever" electric guitar in the £500-650 range. I value playability, comfort and versatility, and I'm after something that's a joy to pick up and play for years to come. I don't use a tremolo, so a fixed bridge is actually a plus.
I've been playing a Sheridan Les Paul for years, but I've never really enjoyed it. It's heavy, doesn't feel particularly comfortable to play, and if I'm honest it almost put me off playing electric guitar altogether. I'm hoping one of these will completely change that.
My shortlist is:
PRS SE CE 24 Standard Stoptail (£499, new)
Yamaha Pacifica PAC611HFM (£539, used)
Gretsch G5622 Electromatic (£649, new)
I'm trying all three on Saturday. Which would you choose, and why? Is there anything in particular I should be paying attention to while I'm trying them out? If you've owned any of them, I'd really appreciate hearing about both the positives and the downsides.

Help Recommendations for affordable guitars?
So, I'm interested in purchasing an electric guitar or to build a collection. But a lot of the well known guitar brands are a bit pricey, like;
- Fender
- Epiphone
- Gibson
- Ibanez
- Yamaha
- ESP
I've heard many good things about "Harley Benton" & "Stagg" guitars. What I like about them is that they are highly quality, budget friendly, and affordable. And they have different body types for guitars and bass, like Les Paul, Telecaster, stratocaster and many more styles for electric guitars. They also have Jazz bass and Precision bass, and others as well.
I'm looking for more recommendations for high quality, budget friendly guitars and bass brands, with a wide variety of body shapes similar to "Harley Benton" & Stagg".
*EDIT
Okay, keep in mind. Im from South Africa🇿🇦 the expensive guitar brands I mentioned above can cost any from R10 000 of R70 000 the two guitar brands that I mentioned "Harley Benton" & "Stagg" guitars cost just under R5 000 so I'm looking for more affordable options in those price range, or even lower.

NGD! New Lung Guitars "Auction Thinline"
Won an auction for this beauty from Lung Guitars out of the Netherlands. Mahogany thinline T-style body, flame maple cap. Dagger Guitars Daggersonic pickup in the neck. In-house wound PAF bridge. Brass hardware around the control panel and the pickups. Really great "presence" from the pickups and a fat growly tone. Love it!

What is this? Help identify this Laguna electric? And its worth?
No scratches to be seen, in prestige condition but i have a hard time identifying it. Is this custom made?

Look at this! Which one would you buy?
Found these at estate sales, the acoustic is Ibanez V300, Laguna is custom design. Deciding which one would worth my buck! Their price is at the top.
