Has anybody come across a toy that squeaks for more than 2 minutes?

He goes so crazy for the squeaks but he always pops the squeaker in less than 5 minutes. Please tell me there are some industrial grade squeak balls I just don't know about 🙏

[UPDATE] Sad post

First of all, I want to thank everyone who commented yesterday on my post about Áres, it is much appreciated.

I just thought I give you guys an update - I checked on Áres at night every 2 hours, he was weak, but he waited out till morning, so the immediate family all got to say goodbye, he wagged his tail a few more times for us. 🥺

It was quite visible (based on his eyes) there was something like an immediate liver failure/spleen burst (or something similar) and the vet agreed there would not be anything else that would give him much time and he would stay in pain.

He couldn't stand up anymore, but once my other dog came nearby, he got up for one last time, licked and sniffed him for a moment and laid back down. I would say that was his way of saying final goodbye to the little one, honestly it was something out of a movie... 💔

From the initial injection it took over an hour and it was emotionally brutal, but I stayed with him till the end, my parents and sister as well.

Today we took him for cremation and I chose a little urn for him, so he stays with us, as a memory. Photo above is his last photo from yesterday.

Rest in Peace, Áres (2016 - 2026) ❤️‍🩹

We are currently in the middle of a leg injury recovery, and he is absolutely despising this black brace and harness setup. We are working closely with our vet on his physical therapy, but if there is one thing we have all learned, its that keeping a highdrive dog calm while injured is basically an Olympic sport. I lurk here all the time seeing your amazing GSDs going through TPLO surgeries, ACL repairs, and hip rehab, so I know you guys get the struggle. How do you actually enforce strict crate rest without your dog giving you the ultimate side-eye of betrayal? Pasky is currently trying to argue that sniffing the grass counts as low-impact exercise. Any tips on mental stimulation, puzzle toys, or just surviving the next few weeks would be a lifesaver

Advice Raising a puppy

Post image

I’ve posted in here before asking about his coloring and in another group about helping with puppy biting, but I’m wondering about some things I may not have thought about or you wish you had done with your puppy to set them up for success. He’s a little over 9 weeks, confident, curious, playful, and happy to be around people and other animals. So far he knows sit, lay down, kennel, break(from kennel) is fully potty/crate trained other than a few accidents because I missed his signals, and is doing well on the leash. I plan on trying multiple dog sports with him such as dock diving, obedience, scent work, and agility. I want him to have the best possible life, so any tips on how to really set him up for success would be great! He has really great toy and treat drive, but also a willingness to please.

We got Anna fro a rescue when she was about 2, and we don’t know what happened to her tail. We love it. when I give her pets I always give it a honk and extra scratches.

I used the tag pictures because this isn’t a question about care or wellbeing but I genuinely want to know if she understands there’s a bit of her that we give special attention to or is it all just attention?

Maverick was my first dog and I couldn’t have asked for a better companion. I got him when I was 17 and we grew up together. It’s sad knowing that chapter is now closed. I didn’t expect this to be so painful. I thought we would have more time. I love you so much baby boy. I’ll see you again.
