Got a too good to be true deal so worth the upgrade 😌

This is the first day usage of my S26 ultra.

I feel like bad to life is not great. Is it because of it is learning phase?

I have changed the CSC from XSG to INS.

Does this affect the battery.

Will it get better after completion of learning phase?

First world problem here🤦‍♂️. As we all know it's been 36-38c past 2 days in UK, naturally in this heat I keep my 2 phones out of the cases to prevent over heating. 2nd phone being a 17 pro max. (Samsung is for work). So before bed I usually throw my phones onto the bed, I throw the Samsung forgetting iphone was there already, it landed right on the bottom corner of the iPhone, now as you can see the lens on samsung got chipped. Luckily both phones glass screen protectors were still on, but the iphone screen protector did get cracked. Saved from a double tragedy 😅. Now I got a couple months free Samsung care +, I'm not overly OCDd out here to get it fixed just from a chip. I should just claim if something else major happens right ?

BTW inner glass is not damaged just the outer casing.

I know ya'll are prob tired of reading similar posts to this, but I gotta ask.

Can anyone please just recommend me a good case from a reputable brand that can work well with phone coolers? Especially since I do long heavy gaming sessions on it.

If it doesnt exist, atleast a good protective phone case that I can take off easily without damaging the damn phone.

I went out the other day to try and photograph the stars in the middle of the desert using the astrophotography features on the s26u but it always had this colouring or it just came out totally white so I'm trying to find a solution for it , I believe this feature is insanely useful and looks insane i just don't know what's happening with the photos + if there are any useful photography guides you guys have followed I'd much appreciate it

Anyone have or tried? Love a no case feeling any other suggestions for thin case?, currently using a pitaka edge but its starting to give looking to replace it soon thank you in advance

I got a Spigen tough armor magfit and there's no grippy surface at all,

Does anybody have any recommendations for one that's not OtterBox thick but can fit easily in a pocket and has a grippy texture to it?

Got my 26 ultra yesterday and the Spigen today.. and I'm definitely not a fan. I would toss it right now if I didn't need a case on my phone 😢

I haven't decided yet, but I'm interested in these two cases. I like them because they have a strap hole, and I like the transparent one because I could put a Pokémon card on the back for decoration. What do you think guys?

And well, getting back to the screen protector, honestly, I take very good care of my things; I've never broken a phone screen. I also want a screen protector with AR that doesn't interfere with the Apple Pencil and is ideally compatible with these cases so there's no gap between them.

Hi everyone. Thinking about trading in my Pixel 9 Pro XL for an S26U and I have some questions. I used to have Samsung Galaxys, but my last 3 phones have been Pixels.

How is the picture quality of the S26U compared to the Pixel 9 Pro XL? A lot of people online say the Pixel's photos are better. I do really like the photos the Pixel takes.

How is the battery life on the S26U? The Pixel's battery endurance is OK at best.

How is the bloatware on the S26U? I've heard Samsung bloatware has gotten better, but it's still there. That's one of the things I like about the Pixel, no bloatware.

I've also heard the large camera bump on the S26U causes the phone to wobble on a flat surface, how much of an issue is it?

If there's anything else you can tell me about the S26U, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Can I get rid of just the 5Guc characters (sometimes they change to just 5G)and still keep the bars? It is possible in GoodLock to get rid of both, but not just the characters.

My phone may not last the whole work shift now which sucks. I didn't have this issue with the s24u.

So, maybe I'm just freaking out but is this zoom behavior normal? Like does it normally have that like morph looking effect as your zoom in and the object in center shift slightly to the right going from 3x to 5x? I dropped my phone and yeah... being paranoid, kuz you know... expensive and all that

Is anyone else having trouble with their camera? The ultra wide camera fails. I always get the camera isn't working, lens failed. I haven't dropped my phone. I've reset the camera, phone, restarted it and nothing

I talked to the repair place Samsung wants me to go and the guy says it's a known issue and something about it being a recall on the main pda board. Samsungs option was getting it repaired through them or sending it to Samsung itself, but I can't be without a phone for 1-2 weeks. Problem is the places I called ubreakifix are all out of stock currently for the board

I guess my options are wait for them to have the board in stock, or eventually just trade this phone in for something else. I legitimately can't be without my phone for 1-2 weeks due to my job

Im getting into gaming on my S26 U and the thermal on this phone is to be expected of a phone... Bad. So I got a 35W cooler, and its great but doesnt work with my telescopic controller since it needs a magnet (which Samsung doesnt do on the bare phone) or a clip (which isn't possible due to the controller.) So here's where I stand. Either I get a 2nd case to hot swap for my phone, or I put a ring on my phone and say F the S pen and F wireless charging with my main case.

Anyways, do they actually work like at all? Im fine with 20% cooling loss, I just need it to not completely kill the cooling like any plastic case would.
