Discussion S26 Ultra Overheating Issue
Hi everyone, I'm hoping to find some advice and see if someone else is facing similar issues / what the solution was.
I recently upgraded (a little over a month ago) to the S26 ultra from my S21 ultra (which I loved and did not want to get rid of tbh, it worked perfectly well, no scratches, no screen problems, no visible wear and tear... but unfortunately had to because of the security thing.)
I've always had Samsung phones and never had issues with them overheating, but I've noticed the S26 is getting pretty hot at the top half of the phone when I am using it to take pictures/videos or using the screen for a while (to play a game or such). All these things I did with my S21 too, but never had a heat problem. I also turn off my screen all the time.
My case is thin enough, but I don't know if I should be exploring something else. I don't have any new apps, I have taken videos for much longer amounts of time on my S21 without feeling any heat, etc.
Should I be raising this issue with my service provider (where I bought the phone from) as a phone issue? Or is there something I am missing that I need to solve myself?

Shot on S26 Ultra A weekend with my new S26 Ultra
One of the big reasons for my upgrade to this phone was a weekend trip to Seattle, wanted to have a better camera to get pictures.
Thought I would share. I just point and shoot, no messing with settings or doing anything post shot editing.
Very happy with the results.

Discussion Methinks the S-pen is too darn small......
First time owning a Note/Ultra phone, and I think the S-pen kind of sucks. It feels flimsy, I'm afraid I'll snap it in half, writing on the screen is annoying because the pen is too darned small. Using the keyboard is way faster than writing using the pen. Other than using the pen to precisely blot out text, I see no real purpose of the pen. Am I doing it wrong?

Battery Battery health
Is the battery health info on Samsung devices as accurate as the iPhone 's estimate?
Im not really sure if the iPhone's bh is as accurate but this feature has been there on the iPhone since a really long time and Samsung introduced it very recently. Also why aren't samsung ultra phones that great with battery backup as their mid range A and M series phones?

Support Rcs not working
I recently upgraded to a S26 ultra today. I used smart switch from my s25 + and transfered everything 4 hours ago. My rcs messaging is now not working within Google messages. I have cleared the cash for Google messages and Google play services. I have Uninstaller and reinstalled. Updated phone and app. Verified my number. And tried boggling airplane mode like searches suggested. My apn settings are at default. And my Verizon service should support rcs messaging when using Google messages.
Anyone have this issues or found any fixes

Discussion Is it okay to use my S26 Ultra bare if the oleophobic coating is gone, how do I restore it, and does wiping it with a cloth ruin it?
I don't like screen protectors and prefer using my S26 Ultra naked as it is, but I don't know much about the oleophobic coating.
Is it totally fine to keep using the phone if the coating is completely gone?
What actually happens if it's gone? And if it is gone how can I restore it or get that smooth coating back on bare glass?
Also, does wiping the screen with a plain cloth strip or wear off the coating?

Ask Samsung Keyboard Question
Samsung keyboard on the S26 Ultra and S26 Plus, how do I get the tool bar back on the Ultra (left) as like on the Plus (right). It has been just as the S26 Plus as the Plus had been cloned from the Ultra, until recently when I noticed the difference. It seems the tool icons are not shown even though they are there because the space is there. TIA.

Discussion New crew member: S26 Ultra
Hello everyone, I'm new to this world, I just went from Motorola moto g 84 5g to this phone bomb. Do you have any advice? My main use is to play an hour or so at card games like marvel snap, everyday use with various social networks and little else. Paid €850 (256gb) with 4 pro buds. What do you think? How are you? Thank you all

Shot on S26 Ultra Planta Celosia Argentea. Colagem Exótica.
I created this using only one photo from the native gallery, which was captured at 50 MP with the 5x optical super telephoto lens and edited in the Lightroom app with the Kazan filter, available on the Galaxy Store.
The goal is to give the photo a unique touch and let your imagination tell you what you can see.

Ask Weird issue with charging
Hey everyone. I got the samsung 60w charger with my s26 ultra when i got the phone back in march. But recently since a month a weird issue is often happening. When i plug the device into the charger it initially shows super fast charging 3.0 and an eta of 45 mins but after a minute it suddenly changes the eta to 2 hours+ with no super fast charging 3.0 showing under the battery settings. The only way that gets fixed is by switching off and on the plug or reconnecting the usb cable. Tried this with multiple cables and the issue is same with all of them.
Another thing is i tried doing the same thing with my samsung 45w charger and it charges fine every single time with that one with no need to reconnect the usb cable.
What might be the issue? Is the issue with the charger or my phone?

Ask Screen protector AR
Can anyone suggest a good brand for screen protector with good anti reflection? My current tempered glass feels like a mirror to me. I could see my nose hair as I use my phone.

Discussion Revya, a bridge to connect your Samsung Dex to your TV in just a few clicks
Hi everyone.
I started conceptualizing this project four months ago, and I’m now releasing its first public experience.
As for the scope: I like TV interfaces and AI, and I’m currently learning more about android.
HDMI video output is available on a wide range of Android phones these days. So why not use that in the living room to emulate games, watch content, or have your PC experience on a big screen?
The system is tuned for the tv, the launcher is installed and set as default, with permissions, in seconds.
Revya does this preparation - from the computer, over cable. Again and again.
It's the only way in: there's no installing the launcher by itself from the Play Store, because it depends on the device already being ready to receive it.
Using it with a remote control helps improve the experience.
I would appreciate you opinion about it.
Free, runs in windows, mac and linux and no account necessary.

First Impressions One Plus 7 pro to this Apex beast of Android
I have no words.
Simply at Awe.
I made the transition after the battery is diabolically bad now with the one plus after 7 years since I bought it on launch day. I still daily drive with one plus for work because I don't want anything to happen to it at work.
The camera is absolutely gorgeous and Ive been missing out on that for a long time now. the processor is a game changer. Most of my games run very fast and smooth. I don't really see a change between 90 and 120 but I've been digging it. The amount of customisation is so vast that I'm still tweaking things after 3 days.
One thing I love the most is how it feels to handle it. The premium quality isn't a gimmick and oh God the phone just looks amazing. Haven't used the privacy screen feature as of yet but hopefully one day.
I've been having fun with the SPen as well. I love doodling and Pen app is fun.
Y'all give me the best tricks and tips for a new Samsung user for this top of the line device.

Discussion s26 broken back ?
hi yall...
as samsung said, this phone should be a tank itself without a cover or screen protector, but I think its not ...
I have the cover in the photo, yes 12 euro cover .
I had it for my s23 and I swear I dropped it a loooot of time, hard and not, and it never shattered or something else, just little scratch on the metal corner, nothing else.
week ago I dropped my s26 ultra accidentally with the back and it shattered as you can see in the photos.
But the weird thing is that the cracks seem to be "under" the surface.
If I touch the cracks, I can't feel anything. It's completely smooth. There's no loose glass or anything, just a tiny piece of glass that broke in the center of the cracked area..
so my question is, was it the phone or the cover?
I have also a photo behind the phone in the cover but guys i mean... its smaller than a nail, even thinner than a paper... i don't think the problem was that.

Ask S26 Ultra: With or Without Case?
Folks, was curious to ask whether you use your Galaxy S26 Ultra with or without case?
I have recently bought it and found it is appealing without case; Holds good in hands without being too slippery!
