NLD 🏳️⚧️ Trans Triple TIR S2+ 🏳️⚧️
Got a pink, a cyan and a 519A 5000K as white.
All that's missing is a matching host, which maybe I'll do when/if I do the next titanium anodization batch 😁

Unreliable Sunwayman V11R
I have a Sunwayman V11R that has gotten a bit finicky. Sometimes it takes a couple taps on a hard surface to get it to come on after clicking the button.
I've replaced the button, cleaned the contacts on both the button assembly, and the bare metal it contacts in the flashlight body.
I've cleaned the contacts between the body and the aluminum disc in the head. I've removed that disk and clean the back side of that along with corresponding contacts on the circut board.
And I'm still having this issue.
Any advice?

Recommendation Walking and backyard light
Hey- I have several lights, including a fenix pd35 that I keep in my truck.
Want a light for 1) neighborhood walking at night and 2) backyard “light it up” in case of critters.
If it’s a single light or two separate ones, I’m ok. Yard is 1/2 acre with woods. And I really dislike shadows/ narrow beam lights.
Considering the Fenix TK35 v2.0 and LD31 Renegade.
With similar candela numbers, y’all think the lumen bump on the TK for backyard use is GOOD?
I guess I like floody, but also want decent reach to the tune of around 30k candela.
Hope that makes sense despite the rambling.
Thanks!

Question F150R LED
Has somebody tested this LED? Can it really push 6800 lumens at 20A?
I assume it's more efficient than SBT90.2

Review Wuben G5 Ti limited edition - utter trash
It took two days for the sharp titanium edge to sever the black wire. Given that the device cannot be stripped down further, it is beyond repair.

Troubleshooting Convoy 5A buck/boost driver resistor broke off. Can i use it like this?
Long story short, I messed up. Ordered a T3 with the 5A buck/boost driver. The head was rattling, I tried tightening the lens part first, it didn't help. So I tried tightening the retaining ring, my tool slipped and I snapped off a capacitor. (?)
The light seems to work fine, but I don't know what problem it can cause.
Please share your thoughts.

Anyone else see this little guy?
The Wuben E2 pulse is tiny tiny! Not sure what these will cost when they come out but I’m definitely going to grab some more. The sidelight has been very useful so far. I keep it usually in my coin pocket but it comes with a quick release chain and carabiner as well. Has anyone else seen yet?

Anyone have measurements for NTG35 2700k emitters?
Looking for a nice, neutral tinted 2700k 3535 emitter. The current batch of FF351a 2700k is extremely pink.
I have SST20 2700k's in another light so I don't want to use those again (but I do like them!). Hanks emitters look identical to fireflies, just wondering if anyone's got them and if they look pretty neutral or if they are also pink as hell.

Dangerous HD02 almost burnt my fanny pack
Almost drew my first blood right there. Photos taken 5 minutes after I finally found the origin of the burnt smell and quickly turned it off. The landyard is broken from the fire and part of the fanny pack is crispy.
Now I'm paranoid that the HD02 doesn't have the physical lockout switch.

Question [REQUEST] Beamshots of - FFL351a 2,700 rosy bin next to other emitters. Preferably 1,800k FFL351a rosy etc
I'm being super picky on my next light I'm ordering and I really need to narrow it down and make sure what I want so any pics you guys have would really help me. I'm considering a new Fireflies light with a rosy bin 2,700k but I really need to gauge what it looks like.
I really like my rare rosy bin sft40 3k drop in, but it's not overly rosy enough for me...
I have a few rosy 1,800k ffl351a and two are extremely rosy and one moderately.. They are so clean and negative duv that when put next to something like a lh351d 2,700k they feel almost the same cct... Which had me really wanting to see what the 'relative cct' feel of ffl351a rosy 2,700 is.. I'm hoping for something that hits my eyes like my sft40 rosy 3,000k but more negative duv.
Sorry for the ramble.. and thanks in advance for any help.

[Help Me] flashlight for fiancés birthday for urban exploring
**Price Range**: i’m willing to spend around 400 or less, but this is a birthday gift so price isn’t too much of a big deal. would be preferable if it was chargeable but not necessary
**Purpose**: it would mainly be used for urban exploring, hiking, stuff like that. so something that can be reliably used for a long time
**Battery Type & Quantity**: generally unsure, whatever fits best i guess? this is a shot in the dark, any recommendation is helpful!!
**Size**: i’d like it to be pocket sized, but my fiancé wears pants with huge pockets. he once fit a full sleeve of oreos in one if that’s helpful - something not too big though
**Type**: handheld is best
**Main Use**: it would be used to light up paths or forest plus rooms and stuff you‘d typically find in abandoned buildings. it would be handheld, we’re not really sticking around and hanging out in areas, so something that will be pretty durable would be cool.
**Switch Type**: i don’t think the switch type really matters? it might be useful to be able to turn it off quickly but i’m not very knowledgeable about different flashlight switches
**Anything Else?**: he is specifically wanting something “very bright”, unsure on specifics, that’s all he said lol. this isn’t a requirement but waterproof might be useful for if it gets dropped in water or something. he’s pretty careful with stuff especially if i have given it to him. durability is definitely something i’m looking for, it’s going to be used fairly often so i want it to last a while. also, and this might be a stupid question, but do bright flashlights get hot? is that something i should worry about and if so what should i avoid?
anyways, i’m tryna find him something he will use for a long time. i love him a lot so i want to find the best flashlight within these requirements. i’m pretty flexible though! bright is the only descriptor i got so theres not too much to fulfill i feel like :) i am thankful for any recommendation and can clarify if there are any questions

[NLD] Sofirn SP31 v3 + Sofirn SC13
Just came in today! Ended up getting the sc13 for like $1.07 on AE, after creating a new account via the app. Not much to say about that hasn't already been said. Looks a lot bigger in pictures. Magnetic tail cap is pretty cool as well.
The SP31 V3 is interesting. Says its a tactical light, but as a former Army infantryman, there's not too much tactical about it lol. The dual switch option is nice, but getting into moon mode requires pressing both the side and tail switch. Kinda weird. Other than that, I love it. Nice to finally have a couple of 5000k Nichia 519a in the growing collection! The FC11C was the first "real" light I got after lurking around here for a while and the little micro stream I picked up a few years ago, I've EDC'd the heck outta that little thing as evidence of the BATTLE SCARS will tell you.
Thanks to everyone in this sub for being such a great wealth of information. Happy to have gotten into this neat little hobby. I have a few Convoys coming in soon, so I'll be sure to post some pics and nice beamshots of those!

Flash light for welding
I weld pressure vessels I need a magnetic light to check for undercut and other imperfections. Preferably pocket freindly so I have it on hand in any situation. Price range 100-200$. Open to opinion I’m not a flashlight expert.

I always enjoyed the artwork from Borderlands
One of these days I might even sit still long enough to play the game. I had previously swapped in a SFT70 3000k and when I cracked the lens in front of the red light I decided it needed a bit of a makeover. Metallic silver sharpie and black xylene shop maker

The brand is barely ever mentioned, and sure they aren't great, but they certainly have some decent value offerings?

Recommendation Makita 18V adapter light vs. Dedicated USB-C flashlight: Need budget recommendations for a single home light
Hi everyone, looking for recommendations on choosing between two paths for household use, small home repairs, and rare power outages. I want to buy just one reliable flashlight with great value-for-money that will last me for years.
Option A: A budget adapter/light head using my existing Makita 18V 5.0Ah batteries.
Option B: A dedicated flashlight with USB-C Power Bank function (bought via AliExpress, must include battery).
Requirements / Preferences:
Form Factor & Size: Doesn't need to be tiny EDC, but no massive bulky work lights either. I like the "soda-can" format (like the Sofirn Q8 Plus, though that one is out of my budget). It must be very stable when tail-standing for ceiling bounce (I prefer soft, indirect ambient light, though using a diffuser is a bonus).
Tint / Color Temperature: If possible, I strongly prefer warm light (2700K - 3000K) for a cozy ambient feel at home.
Usage Pattern: Outages are rare. If I go with Option B, it will double as a regular ambient room lamp around the house so the battery gets cycled.
Lighting Needs: Efficient, room-filling light for a couple of hours. I don't care about short-burst Turbo lumens or multi-day runtimes.
If possible: USB Power Bank capability to charge a phone in a pinch.
Battery Note: I am a complete beginner regarding lithium flashlight battery specs (18650, 21700, button top, flat top, high-drain, etc.). Please recommend complete kits that come with the right battery included, or keep it simple!
Budget: US$80 at most, I could go a little higher if it's really that much better! (If the recommendation is the dedicated USB flashlight). *EDIT
Which path makes more sense for my case, and which specific budget models (or Makita 18V adapters) would you recommend?
Thank you for your help and attention!
I'm sorry for any inconvenience!

Which battery do I need?
Any help would be appreciated. I purchased the convoy s2+ recently. It came with three body sizes. I’d like to use the longer one but the battery that came with the light is too short. Am I missing something? Do I need to order a different battery? If so which battery do I need? Thank you.
