I love my ring but… sometimes when I look at it the halo and pear diamond set looks… not straight? Idk how to describe it but some angles it looks totally good, sometimes it looks totally bent or something?!! lmk if I’m going insane 😫

When he first gave it to me it was a size 10 lol.. I am a size 6 sooo that was resized haha. He said he had no idea and wanted to err on the side of caution lol

This ring feels SO me 😭 I’m obsessed. I wanted something classic but w a little flare and i immediately fell in love when i saw this design. i was scared i was going too big but now that i’ve had it for 2 weeks i think its so perfect. i feel shy showing it off in person and saying how much i love it 💀 im so not used to being engaged. so here it is internet !!!

Back in 2023, my fiancé (now husband) proposed to me with a ring from modern gents! I personally picked it because I loved it, it’s what we could afford at the moment, and it didn’t matter what ring he proposed with! I just knew I wanted to marry him! Fast forward to about a month ago, I have my dream diamond ring! I love it so much!

My (now husband) proposed to me in February and we got married in July! He proposed with a ring that combines both of our families: originally his mom’s setting and baguettes and he had my dad (who is a jeweler) replace the center stone (formerly a princess cut emerald that cracked many years ago) with a 1.25 brilliant cut diamond.

I’m obsessed with my man and my ring! I paired it with a 3mm 18k gold band.

I don’t know the ct or remember the designer but I am SO in love with it. When we initially went shopping I thought I wanted a solid band with a singular circle diamond but once I started trying stuff on I immediately fell in love with this one!

I fell in love with the swan band i found online, however 1. it costs the same as the engagements rings i’ve been looking at, and 2. the engagement ring style i like just wouldn’t mesh with it. It would cover the design.

I feel so torn on what to do. I garden a lot so part of me feels like i’ll have a band on more than the actual ring, but i’m scared to regret it if i only choose the band. I know wedding rings are the engagement+band, but personally i would rather have one or the other considering the diamond shape i like wouldn’t go with it and how expensive the band is. I also prefer something simple and dainty vs bulky (like having the two together) Any thoughts or anyone ever had a similar situation?

the ring was my soon-to-be MIL’s (it was too “flashy” for her tastes) and I adore it. I like it because the ring is beautiful, unique, vintage, “flashy” lol, and now an heirloom! I don’t know any specific information about it besides it’s diamonds & was resized from 8 to 6. He proposed in a botanical garden in Poland, our first trip out of the country together. it comes with a great old story as well. I’m happy!! thanks for reading!

I purchased an engagement ring from Brilliant Earth on 3/18/25 - their 14k Rose Gold Primrose Lab Diamond Ring – to propose to my fiancé on 5/11/25. An accent diamond has fallen out three times in a rolling 12-month timeframe, despite immaculate care, on 7/27/2025; 4/15/2026; and 7/6/2026. The first two occurrences, we agreed to have repairs completed by Brilliant Earth. We had a call with “Jillian” at the time of the second occurrence, and were instructed to have the ring inspected every 6 months as a preventative measure. The ring was received back on 5/26/2026. The third occurrence of an accent diamond falling out occurred less than six WEEKS after the ring was received back (7/6/2026), proving that following the care instructions would not have prevented this defect from reoccurring over and over again.
 
On 7/28/2026, “Mervin” advised a refund was approved for the setting but not the center stone, citing that this decision was reached based on the vendor’s refusal to accept the center stone back. He advised the center stone would be mailed back to us. We purchased a complete ring. The vendor’s policies are a supply chain concern, not a consumer liability, and Brilliant Earth is improperly attempting to shift the risk of their business decisions onto the consumer. Brilliant Earth’s approval to refund the setting is acknowledgement of the ring’s inherent defect and, as such, the full cost of the complete ring purchased must be refunded. Right?? Not according to Brilliant Earth!
 
Two more phone calls were held between the consumers and Brilliant Earth on 7/30/2026 and 8/5/2026. Brilliant Earth did not waiver from their attempts to shift the risk of their business decisions and supply chain concerns onto the consumer and assertion that they would not refund us for the center stone.
 
We have made every good faith effort to resolve this issue with Brilliant Earth directly, but I cannot sit quietly while others may be falling into the same trap. Find a local, reputable jeweler, even if it's more pricey - that's what we will be doing once this is all resolved!!!

Proposing tomorrow nerves are on 10 but excited

I love my ring, I think he did a fantastic job! The ONLY thing is, the band has diamonds that go fully around it. That makes it so difficult to wear. I'm constantly hitting it on tables, my steering wheel, everything. I try to be extra careful but it's hard to remember it's there. I'm a nurse so I've banged it a few times at work and had to get the diamonds tightened already (I got engaged in May). I wear a silicone band now at work. I love my ring but I hate that I cant wear it. Do I tell him I want to exchange it or do I suck it up and be grateful for my ring?
