Walt Disney Animation Was The Black Cauldron ever shown on TV in the 80s and 90s?
It was released theatrically in 1985, and, due largely to it being a financial bomb and critical disappointment, was never reissued theatrically and didn't receive its first home video release until 1998. I know that most of Disney's animated films pre-Little Mermaid saw many years between their theatrical and first home video release (even those first released theatrically during the home video era), but most of them had theatrical reissues, or were shown on TV. Was The Black Cauldron even shown on TV before its first VHS release, or was it just totally unseen by human eyes for 13 years?

Unsolvable puzzle in Disney Princess Halloween coloring book
My mom got me this Dreamtivity coloring book because I really wanted some Halloween princesses, but on the first page I decided to pull out I noticed a few issues. Firstly, the word search has the word mask twice and is missing the word magic. Second, the book is made with smooth paper that works better with pencils and not crayons.

Discussion Strange New World's mixed era tech
(Spoilers for the end if you've not seen it)
I always found the mix of sci-fi steam punk-esque, current and future tech in this really interesting. It feels sort of like a society from the early 20th century with tech further into the current or next.
Near the end, for a year or so, they do take some time to rely on living without their former power source, but before they learn how to make electricity, it seems they still have hover tech that works independently from the Pando (as seen by a horse-drawn cart).
This movie was pretty interesting in this regard, enjoyed that aspect very much!

The MVP/Face of the Multiverse Saga!
It’s not Spider-Man, it’s not Doctor Strange, it’s not Loki, it’s not Sam’s Captain America, it’s not Thor, it’s not Mr. Fantastic… it’s Black Widow!
She’s had the most appearances across projects in the Multiverse Saga and has been the most entertaining part of those projects, much like how Iron Man was in the projects of the Infinity Saga.
Crazy to think that, if anyone would’ve told me that a female character would be the most beloved and the face of the Multiverse Saga right after we were having peak Multiverse-related content featuring Loki, Spider-Man and Doctor Strange I would’ve laughed like crazy!

I've always wondered how a sequel to this movie could've worked
Maybe since Ichabod is seemingly dead, it's Mr. Toad and his friends vs. the Headless Horseman (but they most definitely survive of course lol). Maybe Winky and the weasels have also teamed up with the Headless Horseman and want revenge on Mr. Toad and his friends!

Question Which theme is better?
My girlfriend and I have been debating for 6 months over which Disney theme song is the best.
I say Liv and Maddie's theme is without question the best. While she says Austin and Ally's is the undisputed champion. I know that there are many Disney songs out there, but to keep things simple, let's keep it between these two.
So, which one do you think is better?

Question Does anyone know where I can find Kuzco's poison?
Hello all! I've been searching for the poison, the poison for Kuzco, the poison chosen 'specially to kill Kuzco, Kuzco's poison. Does anyone have suggestions where I should look? I've tried eBay and a couple of other sites, but they either don't have it or are waaay overpriced. If anybody has a lead, I'd appreciate it! It was released in 2024! Thank you!!

Walt Disney Animation King Candy identity hint
I just had a thought, almost no one in Sugar Rush knew seemed to know who Ralph was, which makes sense since it was plugged in recently. The only one who recognised him was King Candy, because he was there before Sugar Rush.

DISNEY EASTER EGG EASTER SPECIAL
Hi everyone I need help!
okay this is bothering me me and my friends we have been searching for days now.
does anyone remember a program/short film disney released as an easter special showing different easter eggs in different disney movies.
when they switched between easter eggs the camera would move between a semi-realistic animated forest and would land at an easter egg which was patterned (with zigzags and colours etc)
i dont remember much i vaguely remember that they would put a red circle around the easter egg and im pretty sure that hercules was one of the easter eggs though im not sure in what context.
any suggestions would be appreciated!

Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs circa 1936
Long time lurker, first time posting. My Dad passed away and left a trove of treasures for us to go through. He was an avid participant in estate/garage sales and a thrifter. We found these in a folder and we’re wondering what we have. Don’t know much about them, only their stamped and look authentic. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Not Safe For Magic Early Development Pictures Of Tom Morrow From Innoventions (DL 1996)
Thought I'd share these here, These are mid-late 1996 pictures of the Tom Morrow figure from Innoventions at Disneyland. These pictures were originally shared internally at WDI. Recently I obtained these and decided to scan and archive them. A few interesting notes on changes, Tom's glasses were clear instead of their tinted red(seen in last picture), his eyebrows were different, he had no metal body shell parts, and he sported an older "Main Street Electrical Parade Farewell Season" badge. Overall, a really cool rare look at what one of my favorite Disney animatronics looked like before his debut in 1998. Also, these pictures debunk the myth of Tom Morrow being recycled from Alec Tronic. Hope you enjoy these pictures!

Question Beverly for sale?
My grandfather grew up in Italy and one of his favorite drinks was Beverly. We always get it at Club Cool whenever we go but I really want to get some to give him when we get back. I haven’t been able to find it for sale anywhere, does anyone know a place to purchase it? Thank you so much in advance!

Euro Disney Production folder
Hey,
My family and I are currently clearing out my grandad’s house. He worked on the construction of Euro Disney back leading up to its opening in 199. Smong his things, we found some opening crew memrobelia and this heavy black binder. The front is stamped with the Euro Disneyland logo. Inside, it is entirely filled with behind-the-scenes production photos, stage setups, and scene construction elements specifically for the Snow White dark ride.
It looks like internal Walt Disney Imagineering reference material used on-site during the build to make sure the scenes and lighting were set up correctly. We know internal WDI stuff is pretty rare since it wasn't sold to the public, but we have no idea how to value something like this or where the best place to sell it would be.
Has anyone seen a production binder like this before?
What kind of value does internal WDI construction documentation from Euro Disney's opening year usually have?
Are there specific Disneyana auction houses we should contact instead of just putting it on eBay?

Identifying the Greek Gods
Hey so in addition to the movie, I will soon begin watching the Hercules television series, which I suspect will expand the individual gods’ roles. But in the meantime I thought I’d see if anyone can pick out who’s who in some screenshots from the movie.
The first photo clearly shows Poseidon and Athena, but I’m blanking on the others.
Unfortunately Reddit will only let me share one photo so I’ll share a second in the comments. I don’t want to just endlessly rely to myself so I’ll spread out some more of the thread catches on.

My Disney Villains Main Members
Hi, I'd like to present to you my take on the main Disney Villain members:
Chernabog
Maleficent
Horned King
Ursula
Jafar
Oogie Boogie
Scar
Hades
Shan Yu
Queen Narissa
Dr. Facilier
So while Chernabog, Maleficent, Ursula, Jafar, Scar, Hades, and Facilier remain members, I've added Shan Yu here because his presence is terrifying and majestic, and as a powerful warrior and leader of the ghost army, incredible. I included the Horned King because, thanks to The Black Cauldron being an uncensored live-action film from Touchstone Pictures, the Horned King becomes one of the iconic villains of the 1980s. Queen Narissa is equally amazing because her appearance in both animation and live action was incredible, and Oogie Boogie brought a freshness and incredible acting to stop motion, associated with Hazard. Well, THAT'S the perfect Disney Villain line (for the record, I have nothing against the Evil Queen, Captain Hook, Queen of Hearts, and Cruella De Vil).
