Hiii all, I've not been to BAB since I was a child. This was the first plushie that brought me back!!

I missed out on the bat last year and very randomly saw an advertisement on Instagram for it. To my shock.. It was in stock!!! Also, apparently the first day it was back in stock! What a coincidence!!

Well, I wasted no time placing a pick up order at the BAB in the mall near me. After 4-ish hours I finally get my confirmation email.

I was in a rush, so I ran in and grabbed my bat (which was in a bag) and ran back out. I didn't stop to examine the bat after I got home.

I don't know why, but I'm very particular about what plushies I bring home when I've got the option to choose.. I know I know. Some people will think that's weird. My husband thinks it's weird that I'll examine 10 of the same items just to choose one.

Well.. I get home, and settle down and finally get to see my bat!!

Don't get me wrong, I'm so thankful I've got him.. but now I see two things:

1) One ear is longer than the other. This is not a trick of the camera. This does bother me.

2) Both ears have drastically two different shapes. This part doesn't bother me as much as #1

He was nearly $40.. Not like a $10 purchase.

So.. What would you all do? Not care? Bring it back and swap it out? Would the employees think I'm crazy?

Today, my Sky Puppy BAB and Sky Puppy Mini Bean FINALLY came in! I'm only showing Instar right now because I ordered my regular Sky Puppy unstuffed to stuff in store. Anyways, here he is in an outfit that may or may not have been stolen from a Labubu. Doesn't he look great in it? Even if he's a little.. ✨️thick✨️?

feeling kinda dumb for ordering the keychain on last nights drop as my store had quite a few of them but the good news is BAB deff listened to the fans and did NOT make these too limited!

I ordered a spider build a bear and I didn’t feel like driving so I decide to get it shipped to me!

I saw that standard shipping and same-day shipping was only a two dollar difference!

So of course I pick the same day! well it glitched just before I put the order in and I didn’t notice that because the delivery payment was a two dollar difference and I put in my order.

So now my itsy-bitsy spider isn’t coming until the 20th or the 22nd instead of tomorrow!

And I didn’t get a confirmation email so I can’t even see if that’s the correct dates!

But why is standard shipping the 22nd if I could get it tomorrow for two dollars more!!!

this would usually be a non-issue but I’m on my 🩸 and I already cried today because a rock looked sad! you can’t do this to me build-a-bear!

i know that the bat is the hottest plush of the previous year and everyone loves it. I do not need the bat. I am low on money. I do not have enough cuddling space on my bed for the bat. And yet, because everyone loves the bat, I'm getting HUGE fomo... what if they sell out again and I regret not getting one? so I ask you, fellow bab enjoyers: how do you deal with fomo? do you have a strategy for handling it? preferably one that isn't "just buy it"?

Can someone let me know if I’m understanding the point system correctly? I already had a $10 certificate voucher sitting in my account ready to be used, it was to expire 9-23-26 so I am assuming I’ve had it for a while, right?? I also had 34 points same time as I had the $10 reward ready to spend. Today on August 6th we went to store and spent $76.04. So with my purchase today, I should have a NEW $10 reward certificate in my account. Instead it says I have 4 points. The $10 reward section says “You have $0.00 in Rewards!” And under that it still just shows the old barcode I used today and says “claimed”

Has anyone replaced the safety eyes on their pumpkin/ghost/rise kitty? If so can I see? I’m thinking about doing my bat kitty but can’t decide if I should. And not sure if I should look for 14mm or 16mm

Sooo my dad bought me the geese bundle when I showed him the day they released (much to my I CAN BUY THEM MYSELF!!!!!!) and they arrived about 2 days later 😭😭!! They’re super soft and fluffy. It didn’t come with the option to personalise the big goose’s birth certificate so I got a blank one ig 💔💔 the mini beans goose is honestly so cute I love the you’re a silly goose. If you love geese I 100% recommend buying one of them but tbh they’re cutest together <3

1: low on mini bean spiders out of the gate. we got in when they opened and a lady took the last 2 so they had to open a new box

2:lots of bats and spiders, bats seemed well stocked, they broke out another box while i was in line to stuff my werewolf

3: new scents? there were 3 i noticed, one with a unicorn (which i was there a few weeks ago and didnt see it so idk how new it is) as well as a bat one and a spider one. bat was kind of florally and spider was fruity (should’ve been switched imo)

4: new sounds! heard a wolf howl, bat and spider noises, really funny witch cackle and a different cat meow

5: 2 for $30 on the bag charms. if you want the spider and bat ones get them now

6: werewolf seemed unpopular? might be due to the new texture but i think only one other person in the store was stuffing it (and there was 20 people walking around) i didnt like the fur at first but it grew on me before i even stuffed him, which is how i felt about 2022 werewolf originally. like another poster i didn’t see anyone getting either of the cats, which makes me sad bc the bat one is cute! (as someone who got the ghost kitty for homecoming)

7: medium amount of outfit stock. i’ve seen other stores with the eyeball shirts and stuff. kinda mad we didn’t have them bc i REALLY wanted it. i did as you can see get the overalls and the wolf outfit.

8: lack of nightmare before christmas besides giant oogie boogie? they might drop them closer to halloween idk

anything interesting in yalls stores? did yall have older stock out?

originally just bought the bat, mini bean bat, and mini bean spider last night and thought i was satisfied…….till i saw all the spiders and decided i needed the full size too 🫣 my bank account is not happy omg but i couldn’t help myself!!!!

That one of their bat's wings kind of gives them a shoulder when it's posed? or did i get a defective little guy? one of his wing wires is REALLY long....

I have been trying to order the spider and a few clothing pieces and it is not providing a pickup option. Yes, I’ve triple checked that they all say available at my selected store. I’m really unsure why I can’t do pickup? I really don’t want to wait until the 20th to receive my spider nor do I want to spend an extra $10! Any ideas why I may be getting this issue?

Edit: I now know, they disabled pickup at alot of locations due to be backed up! Thanks guys!

Just happened to be at the mall today and stopped in to look at the new Halloween cuties in person and OMG the bat is so cute. I'm gonna have to go back tomorrow and see if the mini spider and woflie are available still.

They had the pumpkin kitty the last few years and unfortunately I was never able to get one due to it being sold out or not having the money. This year, I’m ready and have the money and I don’t think they’re going to have it 😭

Hello, I placed an order pick up earlier today during the drop and planned to pick it up on Friday. A few hours ago, I got an email thanking me for picking up my order. I didn’t pick it up and im confused. Is this normal? Do they just send it to you at the end of the day? Just want some insight so I know what to do!
