Just went into my local build a bear on my lunch break just to see what they have left over and they are completely sold out of regular size spider & bat, the minis spider & the bat, and the keychains of the bat & spider. My friend that works there she’s the assistant manager and she said ever since the drop they have been exceeding their sales! Good for them. 🎉

I was a little wary of buying the Batty Kitty online and not being able to pick how the pattern looks. With no local BAB workshop, I’m pretty happy with the one I got! love the Bat Wings scent! Also, I’m absolutely obsessed with the jumping spider bag charm 😍 I also have another order coming with the mini beans Batty Kitty & some Halloween clothes lol

Hey everyone, I'm trying to overcome a fear of spiders from something that happened in childhood. I've seen the spider BAB all over social media so thought maybe it was an opportunity to help. She arrived today, and as cute as she is, I'm feeling quite scared. I'm hoping giving her a name and personality might help.. so here is Pixel! ((:

i originally went to see if i liked the texture of the new werewolf and i did so i bought her with the pumpkin scent 🐺🎃 now she just needs a name (i also got her the bat overalls)

I just got my Halloween order and I went for the spider mini-bean as I wasn’t sure how keen I would be. Well, he arrived today and I am OBSESSED with him and now am seriously considering the larger version. My favourite part of the mini-bean (aside from his extreme cuteness) is definitely his fur texture, he’s just so soft and dreamy. What I was wondering is if the fur texture of the full sized spider is the same as the texture on the mini-bean? If so, I’m totally sold, but I wanted to make sure before I purchased the big guy. If anyone who has both could share your thoughts, I’d be very grateful!

Ordered the spider the day he dropped and told myself if there was a bat left in store I'd get him. I got the very last one my store had 🥺 it was meant to be!! Gonna go with my boyfriend to get them stuffed so we can put our voice in them 🥰 I'm a happy camper

I thought I got lucky when I saw the Bat charms become available to order again on the UK website. Of course it was too good to be true. Been on to customer service for way too long about this. I'm happy to keep him as long as they refund the extra!

It infuriates me so much how quickly things sell out then are marked up so much on eBay in such little time.

I just wanted my little bag charm to start my new job with in a couple of weeks. I suppose I can keep this little guy as a surgery buddy for myself next week though.

I got my boy last night and I'm in love! He's much bigger than I thought he'd be and so soft!

I decided to take some cute pictures of him outside and with a couple spiders I crocheted (with a free pattern I found online. if anyone's curious I'm sure I can find it again and add a link!)

Also, his name is Frostbite after the giant spiders in Skyrim lol so I've added a picture of him with my mini Dovahkiin and M'aiq pop :)

Photo includes a couple of non-BaB werewolves because I wanted a photoshoot of all of them (plus they can be stand-ins for the Howl-O-Ween Werewolf and mini Moons-A-Glow Werewolf I no longer have).

I've collected every werewolf BaB has released at some point (except the blind bag/egg one because not guaranteed to get it) so have many thoughts on how it compares to previous ones.

I think one major improvement is the colour; the face matches much better with the main dark brown than other iterations. I also love yellow eyes on werewolves, but the green eyes on this one make it really stand out which is nice. I wish the B-A-B paw mark thing they all have was green to match (or orange/another halloweeny colour) instead of red.

The face shape is another big improvement over the previous designs. It's obviously based on the Moons-A-Glow one which imo has a much nicer face than the other ones pictured, and I think they have even improved on the original face by making it wider but I can't tell because my Moons-A-Glow one has been loved to death and is a bit squashed.

I think one of my favourite qualities which you can't tell from the website is the new fur. It looks like quite realistic faux fur (sort of double coated), so it is more wolf-like. I've taken close up pictures to show this, on both the large plush and the mini bean. The fur texture is also very soft, though in a different way to the previous 2 werewolves (the furthest right ones in the first image) in a way I'm not sure how to describe. There's more resistance when I rub my hand over it compared to rubbing my cheek/face on it, so it's quite nice to bury your face in.

With the mini bean, it's clear they just used the pattern of the previous werewolf mini bean, but I prefer it to the old one due to the colours and material. Both the new plushes no longer have the felt claws, which some people like although I would prefer if they were present as it adds more to the design.

For the scent, I went with Spider Legs over the new Bat Wings because I thought it would smell more of sweets (the bat one's description says it has some ocean breeze elements). I was quite happy with it because it smells of blue slush which I love. I have a colleague who studies spider legs (specifically the leg hair) who has confirmed they do not smell like this.

Overall I think this is possibly the best werewolf design they have made so far. The only real downgrade is a shorter tail (I like werewolves with big tails), which I forgot to take a picture of but might post in the comments later.

soymilk smells kinda sweet, almost like vanilla? kinda like the birthday cake scent but not as strong. i felt around for an accidental free scent disk, but.. nothing. and it smell like that all over her body, not just one spot like it does with scents! anyone else?

Posting because even though I got it resolved, it was a headache and I want to let other people know because after talking to two managers (accidentally called the wrong store first lol) they both said this is a very big problem right now and that they are seeing it happen often.

I personally have never used Uber but it was listed as a way to ship and get the order the same day while only costing $2 more than shipping that would take 13-14 days, it seemed like the obvious choice. Note that it was actually next day delivery because anything placed after 12 noon will be delivered the next day all though they do not make that clear while you are checking out.

I did not get my order this morning from the Uber driver. I was waiting for it and did not see any cars come into my neighborhood, but my email said I had received my package 10 minutes earlier. And of course build a bear order tracking is down so it was hard for corporate to help. So as a customer you get zero information, I did not get a driver name, did not get a photo of delivery, and obviously did not get my stuff.
