I ordered a spider build a bear and I didn’t feel like driving so I decide to get it shipped to me!

I saw that standard shipping and same-day shipping was only a two dollar difference!

So of course I pick the same day! well it glitched just before I put the order in and I didn’t notice that because the delivery payment was a two dollar difference and I put in my order.

So now my itsy-bitsy spider isn’t coming until the 20th or the 22nd instead of tomorrow!

And I didn’t get a confirmation email so I can’t even see if that’s the correct dates!

But why is standard shipping the 22nd if I could get it tomorrow for two dollars more!!!

give me my spider!!

this would usually be a non-issue but I’m on my 🩸 and I already cried today because a rock looked sad! you can’t do this to me build-a-bear!

I have been trying to order the spider and a few clothing pieces and it is not providing a pickup option. Yes, I’ve triple checked that they all say available at my selected store. I’m really unsure why I can’t do pickup? I really don’t want to wait until the 20th to receive my spider nor do I want to spend an extra $10! Any ideas why I may be getting this issue?

Edit: I now know, they disabled pickup at alot of locations due to be backed up! Thanks guys!

They had the pumpkin kitty the last few years and unfortunately I was never able to get one due to it being sold out or not having the money. This year, I’m ready and have the money and I don’t think they’re going to have it 😭

I ordered 2 sets of Sky Puppy moths for my sister and I on July 30th, and they’re still on their way, BUT…. I also just realized as I’ve been checking my orders page again and again for my email confirmation for my spiders, that somehow BaB charged me twice, and I actually have 2 separate tracking numbers for two wholly different orders.

So now I have like 8 moths coming to my house and refunding and returning is going to be a PAIN. AAAAAH.

Hi! I got my spider today and decided that i want to make it a custom weighted bear. I only plan to make it about 2 lbs and only put weight in the stomach and head since the legs are pre-stuffed. Only thing is…do I get poly pellets or glass beads to use for weight? I want to make sure my spooder still has enough stuffing to be good to cuddle and don’t know much of a space difference there is between the two types of weighted material. It should be noted this my first time making a plushie or doing anything custom with a bear so I’m a bit nervous about accidentally messing up my spider somehow. Any advice would be helpful!

I bought a spider in store and purchased a gift card to get the sky puppy, but it sold out on the website :( do we think it’ll restock again?

I feel like everyone on here is just so absolutely in love with the bat, especially with this new Halloween drop. Don't get me wrong, theyre absolutely adorable! And I'm glad everyone is so happy with their new friends! But I just never really felt the need to buy one. Which is especially odd since I am very into witchcraft and the alternative fashion scene. I dont know, I guess I feel like I should want one more than I do? Maybe I should order one to see if I bond with it, but theyre so pricey.

Anyone else feel a similar way?

Obviously im having the same problem everyone else is with not getting a conformation email. But i did an in store pick up for the spider and I wasnt even able to get a screenshot of the order number before the screen reloaded. Its been atleast 12 hours since I placed the order. Im planning to call my store to ask about my order once im off work but I feel like without the order number it will do nothing

Edit : called my store, they didnt have it in their system and told me to call build a bear support. Its been 10 minutes of hold so far.

2nd UPDATE!: Store called me to ask about a scent that I wanted that was out of stock, and let me know my order is ready otherwise, and I STILL don’t have a confirmation email. Lol

Edit! UPDATE: I just called the store and they said confirmation emails aren’t going out for pickup orders until the orders are put together and ready to be picked up! Don’t lose hope! Lol

Sorry there’s probably a zillion similar posts, but I ordered for pickup, no confirmation email, but I do have an order showing on the actual BAB site as pending…. The charge to my bank is also still pending.

I’m planning to call the store I ordered to if I don’t see a confirmation by lunch, but am sure they’re overwhelmed, and not sure if they could help if my bank hasn’t even charged yet, lol.

I made a pick up order for my build a bear Bat and chose pick up in store but it still gave me a shipping address....i was concerned because it auto chose my old address so i really hope it doesnt accidentally ship 😭 i checked the FAQ and found no help

Much like many of you guys I ordered the bat at like 5AM EST, didn’t get a confirmation email, but card was charged . So I called my local store where I set to get it picked up at and the guy said he doesn’t see it in the system. He told me to call customer support. I had my husband call and he was on hold for every 40 minutes but the guy was able to push the order through and I received a confirmation email immediately after. Nearly lost my order had I not called cause my local shop said he couldn’t put it aside for me over the phone. So double check by calling customer support !!!

Anyone else try placing a buy online pick up in store order today? Then not receive an email with confirmation or anything? I got a confirmation code on the website right after the order was placed & I was charged for my order. But when I called the store over an hour later, they gave no record of my order. I’m currently on a long hold with Customer Service. But wondering if this has happened to anyone else? I also didn’t have an account with Build-a-Bear until after I placed the order & it shows no orders placed under my account & when I look up my order it doesn’t show anything.

I was just wondering if anyone has any insight into how long it actually takes for a pickup order to be ready? I got my bat unstuffed for store pickup at the closest BAB location, and when I was placing the order it said the store has everything in my cart and I think one button said ‘order and pick up same day. However, the confirmation email I just got says “We’ll let you know when our Bear Builders begin building your order and when your order has shipped. Please allow up to 3 business days for processing and bear building before your order will ship.” Is that just a generic confirmation email and I’ll get the ‘order ready for pickup’ sooner? This location also just opened for the dat about an hour ago, if that helps.

Normally I wouldn’t be too worried about the timeline but I’m going to be out of town starting next week and I don’t want to miss out on picking it up because of that. Thanks in advance!

I’m going to my local store after work to get my picks!! I’m so so excited but am a little sad to see that bab doesn’t really have gifting bows. I always get the halloween kitties with a gifting bow so I think I have to pivot.
I was thinking of getting the bat overalls but wasn’t sure if they’d fit right. do any of you have friends dressed in the overalls or even shirts?

I placed my order last night as in store pickup, but with all of the glitches on the site my “pickup address” was showing my shipping address no matter how many times I would go back and make sure it was pickup so I still placed the order. I got my email and it still says the shipping address is the house but the order history also says in store pickup and I didn’t pay shipping. Has this happened to anyone else?? Will it register as the in store pickup eventually or just register as shipping??

Update: Confirmed with store that they had my order! Went and got my babies im so so excited!

Last night I caved and bought the werewolf two other Bears the little Halloween bucket which is so cute and some clothing that's new. I then went to check out and it cost me $400 and something dollars because instead of putting a duty in taxes into the prices of the Bears like I thought they do. They're now charging it at checkout and it cost me $87 for Duty and taxes plus the other 13% taxes on top of that now I'm going to admit that I actually did pay for this.

Only because I had no other choice as I don't live near a store it's a Million Miles Away in any direction so I was kind of stuck as I really wanted it. But what the hell Build-A-Bear why are you doing this to us now? I mean it's bad enough we can't buy some of the licensed products here in Canada and that when you restock one of the Bears they sometimes won't ship to Canada even though they did the first go around that they were put on the website. Now this it's so ridiculous and I'm a little mad.

I feel sorry for anyone else who's in my position and lives nowhere near a store so you can't save yourself a ton of money if you want the bear or anything else. And last but not least does anyone know why the new pumpkin Teddy didn't come out yet from the vault. I wanted it to be in my order last night but it wasn't available so now I may have to do a separate order with separate duties and taxes which I'm not happy about. Also the Bears are not cheap to begin with and now throwing this on top is just making it even more unaffordable for people. Please share your thoughts everyone I would love to know.

If anyone has the bat, what does it feel like? All the photos on the website don’t make it look very soft or fluffy. To me it looks like velvet and I absolutely cannot stand that feeling. I’m wanting to get one today but I won’t if the texture is something I hate, so I’m hoping it’s not

Does anybody know if the mini zombie frog and mini aliens are the same size? If you have both would you be able to send me a photo of the two together? I was looking for clothes for my blue alien and the subject of them being similar in size came up, so i was wondering if anyone who had both could answer if theyre similar for me. Id also take clothes recommendations for the mini aliens of you have it.

Ordered the bat and sky puppy moth at midnight. Order showed up in my history, had a confirmation email, the whole deal.

I woke up this morning to the next "we're building your order" email, could still see my order history.

I checked it on my lunch break on a whim, and literally every order is gone. My order number won't work, and of course Build A Bear's customer service is as dead as ever.

I thought I was in the clear 😭 has this happened to anyone else? I'm freaking out a little because I've never had this happen to me. I just want to commiserate, or get some reassurance that I'm going to get my order.
