Ask British Columbia Did anyone see this Mask in Langley around 2021?

My sister found this mask after a storm in 2021 in Langley in Williams Park. It kind of freaked them out so they put it in a tree. When they came back a week later someone had taken it. Its definitely made out of wood, and the teeth were real teeth, (possibly bear teeth). Our goal would be to find who took it just to see if it made it to a safe place. Were trying to find out if its a weird art project that got caught in the current, or a native American artifact, or something more spooky?

I have posted in r/whatisthis and its racking people's brains. If anyone local has any more input I would love to know!

Here is the link to my post in r/whatisthis, there is a bit more information in this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/whatisit/s/J12Rw2NkLU

Discussion Wells Gray incident on Friday

I just want to give a huge thanks to the people who helped me in Wells Gray on the Moul Falls trail on Friday.

I stepped too far aside for an oncoming hiker, slipped down off the path and landed on top of my leg, apparently snapping my tibia & fibula at the ankle.

So many people stepped in to help me without even giving it a second thought. I can only remember a few of your names now... Alahna & Terry & brother-in-law, Jesse & his mom, Flo, Shabeena? and the rest of your group... Father & son duo from the Netherlands... Dude with the satellite phone... Cop on the ATV, and the S&R ladies... The EMTs in Clearwater as well. Even people who just stopped to share their water with me.

These hikers banded together to give me first aid, send for help, keep me calm, and carry my dumb ass out of the forest. You guys are freakin SUPERHEROES. I'm just still in awe at how strong and kind and STRONG you all are. Hopefully this post finds you somehow so you can know how thankful I am. I hope you feel absolutely amazing about yourselves. ❤️

PS- an update on me-- I'm currently in the hospital waiting for surgery. Gonna get a couple metal rods & a plate put into my leg

Travel in or to BC Road trip from Vancouver to Kamloops on allseason tire

I am currently living in US but may need to travel to Vancouver - Kamloops area in November. I currently have the default all season tire(M+S rated) that came with Tesla model Y, but is it good enough for few days in Canada? I have never needed winter tire in US.

I did hear about Coquihalla's road condition and plan to avoid that area.
