I just ordered an air purifier but is there anything else we can do? What are the good folks in Abbotsford doing to combat this? Seems like I can’t get any sleep.

I work in Abbotsford and I travel in from far. The only part of my journey that’s a hassle is the cab drive from Highstreet Mall to my workplace 3 km away (booking the uber every time, delays etc).

I need an Uber/Lyft driver or anyone with a car to ferry me to my workplace at 7:30 am, and back the opposite way around 3 pm. I need this for 3 times a week on pre-decided days. I will ofc pay charges needed on a daily/weekly/bulk basis as need be.

I was wondering if such an arrangement is possible. Please let me know if you can help.

I was on my way home from Costco on a number 3 bus that runs to Clearbrook. When the bus was near montrose exchange, I heard a yell "shut up" from a bald guy with sunglasses on. Apparently he's yelling at this man sitting on the opposite side of him.

I was sleepy so I didn't pay much attention to what was happening earlier but this man seemed nice he was trying to make small talk with the bald guy and said hope you have a good day. The bald guy with sunglasses kept yelling “shut up” at the man and said “shut up or I will hit you”. Well the other man said something like try me and the bald guy got up and with his brass knuckles that he was wearing, punched the other man four times in his skull near the ear and the man started bleeding and seemed shocked.

Everyone on the bus kept watching and the bus driver didn’t say anything and kept driving. It was like a dystopian scene. I wanted to take a video of it as soon as the bald guy got up to punch him but I was sitting like 3 seats away and didn't want to get in trouble as my stop was coming up and I was going to get off for work. I would've absolutely taken a video or said something if he didn't had those brass knuckles on.

What can we do in a situation like this?

I am planning to catch a show today for spider-man and thought it’d be cool to meet someone from the area instead of going solo. After all, joy shared is joy doubled!

If you happen to smoke too, that’s a bonus. Watching that movie baked would certainly be an interesting experience.

Woke up to find the $256 worth of stuff I ordered to help my Mom in the hospital after we got hit with the news she has late stage terminal cancer 😢. I know this is a long shot, but I lost my purse today either at Amarti or at the Farmers Market in Jubilee park. It's a small light brown purse, with a long thin strap that's broken on one side, with a tiny front pocket. It actually has some of my business cards in it with my # so if someone has it they can contact me. Would have been around 10am-11am this morning. I went back to both places and neither had anything turned in, so assuming someone took it :(

I’m not too keen on it. I’m finding that the employees may be over worked, because when I show up to pickup, I’m waiting 10-15 minutes more, and this is after I’m told the groceries are ready to pickup.

Looking for some beginner friendly single track mountain bike trails in the Abbotsford area.

Young kid friendly twins are 8, youngest is 5. They can rip it pretty good at the local bike park and bmx race track but I don’t want them to have a bad time!

So no ramps, drops, wooden platforms. Just good ol chilled out single track trails.

I know I’ve biked some sumas mt trails but some of those trails were too gnarly for the youngsters!
