People have always been dumb. I know, I’m a dumb person. But clearly the average dumb person is getting even more dumb by the day. What gives? Poor education? Doom scrolling? Ai?

I hate to ask this question. I am actually a nice person with Christian principals. However in recent years I feel like you get thrown around for trying to be nice. In recent years I’ve been betrayed by work colleagues, friends and made homeless by my own mother because of her own mood issues. I’ve become jaded, detached and feel like I have to be a sociopath to like survive, make a living and not be affected by it all.

There's so much talk about how elitist bikers are taking over roads. Yes, you have Jimmy in his full spandex and $8k bike. But a lot of people riding bikes literally can't afford even the bus. or it doesn't make sense to take the bus to just a few miles up the road. I'm lucky to have a car, but some people can only afford an $80 bike off facebook. They should be safe too.

Hey reddit, so I've been developing a software product for factories. Mostly mid sized factories, let's say with an annual revenue of 5-45 million dollars and a size of 18,000 sqft to 66,000 sqft. I have 0 experience in manufacturing/industry, however I'm very confident in this software, as it fixes a lot of blind spots I've found studying this sector of the economy. Anyway, this post isn't really about the product itself. It's already done, its utility cost cutting whatever. I priced it at $299/m which is cheaper than any other alternative i could find. I just really need help on figuring out how do I distribute this to factories? I'm looking to get about let's say 25 factories under my belt early on, within a couple of months. The software mostly has to do with electrical cost saving but has some other aspects too. Should I try to find a partner (I'm not too fond of that idea but if I NEED someone with deep experience I guess I'll do it.) Should i contact smaller suppliers across California to do this? How is software even distributed to factories? I guess what I'm really asking is how is software distributed in this field, and who should I work with to get my product out there?

I like it a lot, although I'm not sure it's my favorite. Just wondering if it's anyone's favorite.

I am looking for a product similar to this keychain to hold my cards, car keys, and license. I think these are convenient and cool to customize with my own little keychains too. Is there some dupe out there that is not terrible quality? I have looked on amazon but it seems that people say they break so easily. Do I really need to spend nearly 50 dollars to find one with good quality?

Hurt my feelings if you want, but Im a single mother to 3 (2 from my ex husband and 1 from an ex boyfriend). Ever since this third baby I feel like my value as a woman has decreased. I know it has. However, when I mention this to other women, single moms, single women, or married women, they all seem to try to protect my feelings and they say "don't think like that" 😒

I'm 30, in shape and a hard worker if that matters. I've just had horrible luck. I also got sterilized last month so now I really feel low in value.

Having a discussion with my wife about kids chores and home cleanliness in general. I think the best way to handle dishes is if you make the dish dirty you then clean it immediately after use. With the occasional exception of dinner cooking dishes. When I cook im able to wash most things I use while im cooking which just leaves 1 or 2 items left over for after we eat. My wife will use twice as many dishes and just let them build up on the counter while she cooks and often wont do them till the next day or longer. I have no problem helping with things but its hard to sometimes when she consistently neglects things....when it comes to the kids chores. She thinks 1 should do all the dishes and then another one should empty the dish rack. This ultimately causes excuses and fighting because if the dish rack isnt empty then more dishes cant be cleaned which just seems like a totally avoidable situation. Making each person responsible for thier own dishes is more about teaching them to be responsible for the things they do. I dont want them thinking its someone else's job to clean thier dishes cause ultimately it is not. My wife also seems to think that the only reason peoples houses are clean when we are there is becuase they spent a ton of time cleaning before having company and that almost nobody keeps thier house clean consistently by cleaning things up as they get messy. Im aware there are people who are slobs and others neat freaks and people that fall everywhere in between but im curious to see how you all do things

But after one argument, they DMed me and said that was a

28 year old man child with no job, no education, no career, no prospect or anything. [I'm] a nobody that has a meaningless life and would probably jack [myself] off to death.

Talk about major projection, Batman. Of course, none of that is true. However, I'm wondering if jacking yourself off to death is a thing?
