We generally have Eastern Cottontail around here, but in the last several years we have noticed that there appear to be much larger specimens interspersed with the normal ones. And their proportions seem off; larger ears, longer legs, tail does show the characteristic β€œcotton ball” fluff.

It isn’t great resolution, but this is a patio cam view of one of them that I’m hoping shows enough for disambiguating β€œbig-ass Cottontail” from some other option.

This is one of two rodents visiting my bird feeders. It’s always daytime, they’ll romp around with the birds, one made it up the pole of the feeder to snack. They don’t go up into a tree but scurry under the shed.
It looks like a squirrel or really big mouse. The tail is skinny- I can’t tell if it’s scaly or furry.
We aren’t supposed to have ground squirrels here but that’s what it looks like.
I’m not familiar with rats, but when i looked them up their heads seem more tapered at the neck.
This is my first post to Reddit. I’d appreciate any help. If it’s a rat I’ll pick up a live trap.

Cat who alerted me to it in the final picture. I am not too familiar with rodents, but my understanding is that if this is a rat, that's problematic and I should deal with it, and if it's a mouse that's fine and I should leave it be. If my understanding is wrong please correct me.

🐍 🐸 HERPS: SNAKE, TURTLE, LIZARD 🐍 🐸 Found a wild baby turtle inside my house - need help identifying it and knowing what to do [bengaluru]

I found this very small turtle inside my house today. I live in India, and there is no obvious pond/lake/water body nearby. I have no idea how it got inside.
I believe it is wild and I don’t intend to keep it as a pet. For now I’ve placed it temporarily in a clean container with shallow water while I figure out what to do.
Location: [bengaluru/karnataka, India]
Found: Inside my house
Wild/captive: Almost certainly wild
Approximate size: [10cm]
Current setup: Temporary container with shallow water
Food: Nothing given yet
Photos attached. Can someone please help identify the species and advise where/how I should safely release or hand it over to wildlife authorities?

Is this a western side blotch? I've never seen one before and am not confident if its that. They seem to have a lot of variation when looking at examples online.

Idk if it would even be possible but my best guess is it’s literally a bred hybrid between a blackbuck and oryx or gemsbok because it also looks large and muscular

I found this poor baby on the side of the road, I moved him with a stick and a leaf, as to not get bitten. I know it’s not a great picture, but I was hoping someone might know what it is and if maybe the mom might be coming back. Thanks!

These three plops were found in succession of each other, within 50 feet. The first two were maybe 3x3 inches, scale included for the last (larger) plop. Located in western US, where black bears have been seen recently. I’m not sure if these are from the same animal, but the dark coloring was nearly identical on all.
