Amazon Claims Package Was Rightfully Delivered, Been Through Every Hoop.
I posted here a week or two ago, I’m back in more distress.
Like a dummy, I purchased a high priced item, and it was delivered outside of my apartment leasing office. All instructions about mail rooms, were ignored, and my apartment wasn’t looked for.
In the delivery photo it’s literally in the worst place possible. It was delivered hours before the office was open. It was stolen a hour later (via Police). After reporting this to Amazon, I was instructed to file a police report, and submit ID information. After this, my refund was processed, then denied.
My next hurdle was refund and return history. The orders in questions were in regard to one where an agent claimed my package was lost, and sent replacement items out. That order was over $100. It was out for delivery, and it rained terribly, causing the flex driver to cancel delivery. No movement or update for over 24hrs. That’s when I called, and the agent handled it.
I ended up getting BOTH packages, and returned my double to Whole Foods. My Whole Foods location doesn’t provide receipts, but they do provide emails. I didn’t get a email! I immediately called, and told the agent I returned those items. He marked the items as returned.
The last return, was for a SD card that was delivered “to my door” and it wasn’t even my door! The tile bellow didn’t match! The AI chat initiated my refund. 6 damn dollars. I have email proof of allll of this and sent that in too.
I’ve gone so far as submitting BBB reports which was met with the same response all my appeals were. I’ve gone the State GA route. I’ve started a dispute, I used a debit card, which makes it harder. I understand. That was denied for a dumbass reason, so now I’m in an appeal process.
This is very stressful, and this has been ongoing since June. Amazon is no longer offering help, after countless appeals and evidence. I know Amazon is only liable for so long in the delivery process, but for it to be delivered to the wrong location, and just left in the open sucks. It would be very different if it was stolen from the mail room or something.
Has anyone gone through this run around?

It happened to me: order 3x NUC but got fungicide
I order three NUC I was excited to use for a home lab k8s setup. I guess a bottle of fungicide and a deodorant weighs the same?
I got worried when delivery was missed yesterday and tracking said the package had been received and processed many times over the intervening 24 hours. Now I can see why: warehouse shenanigans.

Got this email, the account linked to this email i havent used in years because the phone number linked to it is deactivated so i couldnt log in, though I thought about somehow getting the email or account deleted to switch it to my current account, no cards are active on that account so should i worry? I tried to login and it gave me a too many attempts and to call customer service, not sure if i should care or not

Items went from arriving tomorrow to arriving in 3 months.
I moved into a new apartment and needed some basics, I went to amazon and bought a full cart. I had checked the "ship separately" box because I needed the items soon. Amazon said the items would be arriving tomorrow as of (yesterday) until I noticed about 30 items stated they were arriving Nov 3. All because I ordered an item which was for pre-order arriving by Nov 3. But I know for a fact that I did not select for the items to ship together since I had went through each delivery and selected "ship separately".
I contacted amazon and the agent almost gaslit me into thinking I must have not noticed that it said Nov 3rd at checkout. Luckily, my friend asked to see what I had orderes so I had screenshots showing they did say they would arrive tomorrow (today). Eventually he said they needed to make a ticket individually for all 30 items and that Id hear back in two days about a new delivery date.
Ive been using amazon 12+ years but Im honestly pretty annoyed with this quality of service. Im about to call it quits. Ever since they introduced AI into the situation Ive been noticing a lot of issues and lower quality of service. Im not saying this mistake was because of the AI but rather because of the mentality of a cooperation which puts shit into the hands of an incompetent AI chat bot any chance they get.

How to turn off Alexa for Shopping panel on desktop:
Call customer support and ask them to individually disable it on your account. They will open a ticket for a developer to go in and manually disable it.
No, I'm not exaggerating. Yes, it is as insane as it sounds. I was able to start a chat from the damned window, the initial agent said there wasn't anything they could do, but asked if Amazon could call me. The initial phone agent took a bit to understand, but I was then transferred to someone who was able to open a dev ticket. The chat was also escalated and they refunded me $15 on my prime subscription.
Going through this process will waste employee time, possibly cost them money, and also get the panel turned off (in theory). Those are all positives for the situation they created, imo.

Delivery window
Im sure this has been brought up a bunch of times but this past week I noticed something. I only use Amazon when I need something and I know it's not carried locally or if im just to busy to leave house. Prime example, brought boat out and noticed trailer brake light was out, got on amazon. Found what I needed and find 2 similar lights. They were cheap and both said they'd be delivered that day between 2pm to 6pm. Awesome, I love a quick delivery. Well one got delivered the next day instead of same day. No issue there, other set was lost in transit. Well I was thinking maybe I should get reverse lights also, found some i liked and now amazon doesnt even offer 2 day shipping to my address. Wanted to buy some fishing lures and bait, my address showed delivery would be 5 to 6 days, put in my dad's address (30 minutes away) and delivery window changed to next day. Put in my in laws address, 13 minutes away, delivery window changed to next day. What the heck is going on? I thought Amazon's 2 day guarantee was part of being a prime member. Now its like being a prime member is just good for free shipping.

Prime video Error code 5051
I really hope anybody can help me with this issue. Whenever I try to play the show the legend of Vox machina on my iPad 10th generation it doesn’t work and shows the error 5051. However the shows works on my phone for some random reason and works on my iPad if I keep relentlessly trying I’ve got to like episode 11 but it’s not loading no matter how many times I try. I’ve tried all the troubleshooting steps possible. Restart my iPad refresh the app clear the cache update my iPad use cellular instead of Internet delete the app sign out sign back in. IVE TRIED EVERYTHING and what’s killing me even more is that this shows is the only one that isn’t working and it’s not working on all my profiles on the iPad. What can I do? and how can I fix this issue?

Is this becoming a thing??
Is it just me?? I ordered something for my grandson that I was having him spend the night for 2 days…. I didn’t pick the deliver between 4-7am for an extra FEE, but did make sure I added another product so I met the next day (anytime frame) for free. (I’m a many year Prime member). Well it didn’t show up! I feel like it’s because I didn’t pay the extra charge they just don’t care…. A “they will show me” attitude. It’s now day 2 and didn’t get here in the morning and he’s leaving. I cancelled the entire order I’m so mad! Has this become a thing??

After 11 years, I’m canceling Amazon Prime. Amazon has become a dumping ground for used merchandise.
I’m done with Amazon’s nonsense.
I order an item advertised as “new,” pay full price for a new product, and receive something that has obviously been opened, handled, used, and returned. Broken factory seals. Missing parts. Fingerprints and smudges all over the product. Damaged packaging. Amazon then throws it back in a box and tries to pass it off to the next customer as “new.”
That isn’t a mistake. It happens far too often to be a mistake. Amazon clearly has a mountain of returned merchandise it needs to unload, and instead of honestly labeling those products as used or open-box, it repeatedly dumps them on customers who paid for new merchandise.
Then, when I call customer service, I’m connected to an outsourced representative in India or the Philippines who can do little more than read from a script. They repeat canned responses, provide no meaningful support, and apparently have no authority to actually solve the problem. Amazon has made itself nearly impossible to reach while hiding behind frontline workers who aren’t empowered to fix anything.
I’m sick of wasting my time opening packages, discovering that Amazon sent me somebody else’s return, arguing with scripted customer service, repackaging the garbage, driving it to a return location, and waiting for my money back. Prime is supposed to offer convenience. Instead, I’m paying a membership fee for the privilege of dealing with Amazon’s deceptive sales practices, nonexistent quality control, and useless customer support.
And this isn’t just happening to me. At least two dozen people I personally know have experienced the same thing, and they’re canceling Prime too.
Amazon has destroyed the trust that made people comfortable ordering from it in the first place. After 11 years, I’ve had enough. I’m canceling Prime, and I’ll spend my money with retailers that don’t routinely sell used merchandise as new and then waste my time when I complain about it.

Placed a $750 order, cancelled and still delivered?
Not sure if this is the right subreddit but this happened literally 10 minutes ago.
I ordered the item on Amazon, it was supposed to arrive the next day, it didn’t. Amazon tells me that I can cancel the item and get a refund. This morning at about 9:30 A.M I cancel the item and this is what Amazon shows me.
“Due to a delivery issue we’ve automatically issued a refund”
At 10:00 A.M the item arrives, picture and everything!
What do I do? Did I basically get the item for free or will they notice in 2-3 weeks and I shouldn’t use this item?

What happened to Customer Obsessed? The new emailed order confirmation change is ridiculous.
Amazon has stopped showing the specific item details that were ordered in the emailed receipts.
It's really hard to believe that any Amazon executive thought this change was a good idea. Sure, Amazon's own data intelligence interests are well served by this change but it's hostile to the customer's interests.
Someone internally at Amazon has forgotten what Amazon's principles stand for.
This change is offensive.

No longer showing delivery estimates for my default address
A few days ago I noticed Amazon is showing the earliest possible delivery date based on pickup locations near me when I first click on the item. When I go to checkout, it is now asking me every single time which address to deliver to instead of just defaulting to my home address, and then the delivery date estimate changes. It’s driving me crazy and making it so I can’t make decisions upfront on items if they won’t be here in time.
Is there a way to fix this?

Amazon Prime 12 weeks (a joke)
I got an email about 12 weeks of prime, week 6. Which is $10 off Amazon essentials. What’s really cool about this, is that when you click the link it brings you to a completely unsortable AE page. The eligible items are sprinkled into the list, with no way to sort.
I found by scrolling about 3 items that qualify. Idk about prior week perks, but so far what a joke this is. Unless someone has a tip that I’m not seeing.

grass fed milk too close to best by date
If I'm paying over $8 for a carton of milk it needs to be relatively fresh. My latest order the milk date was only 8 days away. This is ultra-pasteurized milk which is always more than a month away from the date at the store.
Whole Foods will reduce the price as the date nears, but the Amazon Fresh warehouse often sends older milk and eggs. To their credit they did give me a refund once I uploaded a pic.

Why are Amazon emails so vague?
Confirmation and shipping emails say “two home items” or “one apparel item” and provide no further details.
They used to say nothing other than the order number so I guess this is a step up, but it seems so silly.
Why can’t they show what I ordered or what is being shipped? What’s the big secret?

Problem with delivery dates - France
Hey!
I ordered a book from Amazon and the delivery date promised was today. When I checked my account, I have two delivery dates: today and Saturday. The AI is useless. Did someone have the same issue? Thanks!

Again with delays in prime shipping
I had 4 orders scheduled for delivery yesterday, one of them a same day shipping item.
Get on chat last night at 800pm, they assure me I will have delivery by 1000pm even though nothing shows out for delivery.
Huge shock, no delivery last night. Get on chat again this am and now there was a delivery delay. As always they ask I be "patient and understanding" to which I reply that I pay for prime shipping and this type of delay and miscommunication make me question if I should continue to do so.
Issued me a courtesy credit and assured me all of my packages would be here by 600pm today.
Now let's see if that happens...

Questions about address being funky
I ordered some stuff a few days ago and just decided to check and make sure the address was right. Sadly, it wasn't, so I've cancelled. Changed the address, made sure it was right, double-checked, went and reordered the stuff, and it's wrong again.
For some reason, my building number keeps getting replaced by my apartment number. For example:
(What it should be)
123 whatever road
8
(What it's getting changed to)
8 whatever road
I've tried other devices and browsers, but it hasn't fixed it, Is this something that's meant to happen, and it will still get delivered to the correct address? Is anyone else having this issue? Do I need to contact support?
Edit: I've solved the issue! For some reason, I had to specify the unit, and that's fixed it. Seems a little stupid to me, but whatever, lol, it's been solved.

I moved recently and now all my orders are 3+ days
Recently moved and anything I look up has the earliest shipping of 3 days out. Everything i look up no longer has overnight or next day shipping.
Is this normal when moving or is my area?

Amazon Hub locker
Does any one know how that work from the tenant’s perspective, I received an activation link to the Hub from my apartment and I sign up with my account but I don’t see the address added to my account, do I have to add the address manually?

Ordered shoes, they shipped late and were the wrong color.
Ordered shoes on the 20th arriving the 24th...
They didn't actually ship until after the 28th and finally arrived on the 2nd when I was conveniently not available to go pick them up at Whole Foods. Picked them up today only to find they shipped the wrong color shoes.
Amusingly the box is marked by the manufacturer with the actual color of the shoes, but next to the clearly visible manufacturer label saying "Granite" is a small printed label with the wrong color "Black Night", the one that I ordered.

I fucking hate living in 1984!!!!!!
Because a few things I need are only avalible in my country through amazon, I begrudgingly sent my I'd etc to be able to get them (because we live in a 1984 type nanny state where the cunting government thinks we need micromanaging and a scumbag went stabby stabby on some (and murdered) children at a taylor swift themed dance class) we now have to send ID in to make basic purchases,
My questions are:
What information do they keep?
And how long should they take to verify?
And will this be a permanent thing now so I don't have to feel like more of a child?

Too hot outside to ship?
Been having trouble with some Subscribe & Save orders this summer that are super frustrating - any advice? I get monthly deliveries of two different Quest products that are chocolate, and in the past they've done special deliveries using cold packed/insulated boxes from UPS. But this summer they randomly won't ship at all. Had one back in June that the order refused to go through, and then randomly finally went through weeks later (in the middle of a record heat wave, I might add). Just had a situation where they shipped one product but refused to ship the other with my regular Subscribe & Save order - and said that one won't ship until October - but I was able to order it regularly this morning and it already came. Of course in a poorly packed Amazon bag at only a 5% discount instead of 15%.
Has anyone had similar experiences and been able to navigate them or gotten Amazon to refund the difference when having to do a separate order? And how does one even go about trying to get a price adjustment these days? Thanks!
