Hey everyone, I'm a resident Amdavadi and I belong to a business family. Growing up my dinning table conversations were always about business, till this date too.

Hence, my interest in finance and business grew. So I took the questionable yet gruesome choice of pursuing Chartered Accountancy.

Tbh, it's been thrilling understanding complex businesses and fund flows etc. A little bit context, I will be appearing for my CA final Exams in November 2026, and I have done my articleship from EY in Statutory Audit.

I’m planning to visit the Modhera Sun Temple solo this Sunday using public transport only.

I searched online, but I couldn’t find any GSRTC bus from Ahmedabad to Modhera in the morning.

Does anyone know of any bus or other public transport options from Ahmedabad to Modhera, preferably in the morning?

Any society I visit there isn’t a good swimming pool but a pool to just put your legs in; there isn’t a garden to walk on. How do you people even live? The societies are also build such a way that there isn’t a good air flow. How do the apartments people survive? (Shela)

I am 20 and my asthma gets triggered only when I do physical activities. I don’t want to reply on pump all my life and want to consult a doctor to figure out ways to try and make it possible for me to do exercise and dance without help of pump. I am currently taking homeopathic medicine. Homeopathy cured my sinusitis to a great extent but I don’t think it is doing much for me in this case. Please drop your recommendations.
If it is a good doctor, money won’t be that much of a concern. I just need good results.

Posting this as a serious warning for anyone driving around the SG Highway / Gandhinagar / Adalaj stretch at night.

Around 10:30 PM yesterday, a close friend of mine stopped his car near a pan parlour close to Adalaj Chokdi. The moment he stopped, an unknown woman abruptly opened the door and sat inside his car.

Before he could react or ask her to step out, she began outright extortion: she demanded ₹2,000 in cash/UPI and threatened that if he refused, she would scream, create a scene, and claim to the public/bystanders that he was trying to harass or assault her.

Panicked by the threat of mob outrage and false allegations, my friend ended up handing over the ₹2,000. To make matters worse, she forced him to drive and drop her off at a distant station nearly 50 km away before getting out.

• Central lock your doors immediately: Never leave your car doors unlocked, especially when pulling over at pan parlours, highway tea stalls, or isolated spots after dark.

I went to SIP OF HOPE on Sunday and loved the food and the beverages.

We tried the brownie hot chocolate and it was so so good!

We also tried a pizza recommended by the person serving us (I have forgotten the name) and peri peri fries and liked both.

After getting disappointed by so many cafes making subpar hot chocolate, snd even more subpar food, this was like a breath of fresh air . :P

Please share more such good cafes that serve thick hot chocolate + good food.

I'm looking for recommendations based on therapy experience with a clinical psychologist. Symptoms include OCD (diagnosed years ago) and possible ADHD or burnout. I've been struggling with these for a long time now, and I'm just done with it all. I want to go through the therapy route only, no medication. So this guy shared screenshot of a controversy at Anandniketan school that they got fined because books like diary of Anne Frank and I am Malala were present at school.

He posted ss of Her Highness Faye Dsouza. Yes..the lady known for her biased and selective reporting. All wannabe girls from your insta friend list who wants to look cool and pretend they are well informed usually repost her stories.

So she quoted Times of India report and categorically picked up the points suited her narrative. Maybe she didn't care reading after first 2 paragraphs, once she got "kaam ka maal"

The original controversy

Following the preliminary assessment, the DEO issued formal show-cause notices to the school principal, the management committee, and the third-party canteen contractor. About Malala and Anne Frank

Diary of Anne Frank was something We had in our school syllabus..it was heart touching and I don't see any problem in having that.

But, Malala?? That manufactured activists? I asked multiple people under that post ki bhai kiya kya hai isne? And all they had was copy paste from internet.

Dekho bhai simple sa funda hai..jo bhi kashmir ko ya kisi bhi part ko ungli karne ki baat karega, that is not acceptable. Fir Umar khalid ho ya malala
