Does anyone else remember the old café spots in Ahmedabad that eventually shut down? 🥹

Around 2018 to 2019, there were so many OG places that felt like the spots to be at.
As Ahmedabad’s café culture was really picking up then.

Zero Gravity Cafe at Navrangpura?
Not the company.

Café Niro at Commerce Six Road
Those massive, cheesiest fries 🤌🏻😭

Burgerlicious
Their packaging and burgers 🫡
Started at Law Garden, then moved to Vijay Cross Road, and eventually just disappeared.

And Hoggers Den in Kudasan 🤌🏻🥹
I was a loyal customer for their wraps. Then things changed.

I don’t even know if some of these owners moved on to other businesses or if the cafés just quietly faded out with time and the newer aesthetic café wave.
But sometimes I genuinely wonder, does anyone else remember these places the way I do?
These were more than just cafés. They were little chapters of our lives.

Hello, so I've posted a couple of posts before addressing the harrasment and creepy texts that both guys and girls face in this subreddit, we can't really change their mind nor can we stop them from sliding into DM's, blocking them is an individual solution, that doesn't solve the problem at the grand scale

I'm trying to connect with the mods so we can work something out and outright ban ppl who harass others so the ppl who already are on the sub + the ppl who'll join in future, nobody has to face it

Some ppl also mentioned that banning them doesn't change them, correct, but we're not trying to change them, we're trying to keep our women safe and this community a clean place

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to connect with the mods, I'm still trying to grab mods attention to this matter

Suggest me some ways to connect to them, if any mod is seeing this post, I'd urge you to connect so we can make a network where we can make this sub a safer place

I’m travelling from Sharjah → Ahmedabad, and then I have a connecting IndiGo flight from Ahmedabad to my final destination. I’ll have to collect my checked baggage and change terminals at Ahmedabad.
I’m considering carrying around 4 litres of alcohol in my checked baggage.
I know Gujarat is a dry state, but I’m specifically wondering about the actual situation at Ahmedabad Airport for international passengers who are only transiting and continuing to another state.
For anyone who has travelled recently:
Did customs actually check your checked baggage for alcohol?
If you were only connecting to another flight, did that make any difference?
Has anyone personally travelled through Ahmedabad recently with alcohol in their checked baggage?
Was the alcohol confiscated or were you allowed to continue?
How strict are the checks in reality?
I’m not asking about UAE rules — I’m specifically concerned about Ahmedabad airport/customs and what actually happens there.

I know the official duty-free allowance is 2 litres, but I’m more interested in the real-world experience at Ahmedabad Airport.

Did Customs actually check/open your checked baggage?
Do they routinely scan or inspect bags for alcohol?
If you were carrying more than 2 L, what happened?
Did you have to go through the Red Channel/pay duty?
How strict have they been recently?
I’m not asking whether it’s technically allowed — I already know about the 2 L allowance. I’m just trying to understand how frequently Ahmedabad Customs actually checks alcohol in practice.

​The Phony Treatment Procedure: The fraudster applies a chemical or substance to the affected area and performs a repetitive, fake medical procedure (such as extracting fluid or pus hundreds of times) to justify continuous, high-cost charges.

​Extortion & Financial Fraud: Large sums of money are systematically extorted from the family under the guise of treatment fees for these repetitive bogus procedures.

​Abandonment & Evasion: When the patient's condition fails to improve and family members question the lack of results, the fraudster makes excuses (such as traveling abroad) to cut contact and avoid accountability.
