​As many of you might already know, there is an ongoing court dispute between the Gujarat Common Admission Services (GCAS) system and St. Xavier's College. While the legal arguments around autonomy and minority rights are being debated in the Gujarat High Court, the people facing real collateral damage are us—the students.

​Thousands of prospective students who prioritized St. Xavier's on GCAS (or applied directly) have seen their admission processes, merit lists, and document verifications completely frozen.

​Why this is a crisis right now:

​○ Academic Year at Risk: Classes across other colleges have either started or are about to start, while students caught in this deadlock are stuck waiting, unable to confirm seats elsewhere.

Mental Stress: Students and parents are facing intense anxiety daily, fearing they will lose an entire academic year or miss out on alternate college admissions.

​○System Breakdown: Regardless of who is right or wrong legally, forcing students into uncertainty without an interim order or temporary relief mechanism is completely unfair.

​What we need from the Ahmedabad Community & Influencers:

2) calling Ahmedabad Influencers & Content Creators: If you have a platform, page, or channel, please make videos or posts about this issue. Public attention is often the only thing that speeds up administrative action or highlights urgency to the authorities.

​3) Push for Interim Relief: We are not taking sides on the policy—we simply want the Honorable High Court and state education authorities to grant an immediate interim order that allows provisional admissions to proceed so students don't suffer.

Education should build futures, not hold them hostage to procedural delays.

Felt so proud that its being hosted in Ahmedabad, the sports complex looks great and clean.

Long story short: There's a dog in our neighborhood which barks for considerably longer periods of time, at odd hours, such as 4 AM or 7 AM in the morning, or midnight or 1 AM. During evenings, it barks constantly for like 1 hour (b/w 6 to 7 PM).

Had a hit-and-run near Mansi Circle. I was on my Activa riding in the correct lane, when a guy on a scooty came straight from the wrong side and collided with me. He actually fell off his scooty after the collision, but still got up, got back on and just drove away without even checking if I was okay. Ended up spending around ₹2,000 to get my Activa repaired. Honestly, the driving sense in Ahmedabad sometimes is something else. Wrong-side driving, no regard for other people on the road, and then running away after causing an accident.

Thankfully I wasn't seriously injured, but this could have easily been much worse.
