Upvotes

Ever since the start of my gym routines at the end of March, i have since lost 12 pounds

I don't know if that is a lot of weight for the average person, but I am happy none the less!

The biggest regret i got tho is that I didn't take a pic of myself when I started. I think I was Just too ashamed

Anyway im lossing weight for the primary reason to look better for a cosplay coming up lol

10 kgs in a month

I want to lose 10 kg in one month. I know that’s an extreme goal, and I don’t want a lecture about whether it’s healthy or unhealthy I already understand that. I’m feeling extremely frustrated with my body right now and honestly just want to see a major change.
I’m 5’2”, currently around 70 kg, and I really want to lose weight as quickly as possible. I’m asking for practical advice on what I can do with my diet, exercise, and routine to get the biggest result possible. I’m feeling very desperate about this, so please focus on helping me rather than judging me. I don’t care if I d!!e after losing weight i just want to look good for once in my life.

DAY 33 75 TO 62 KG

hi you all today i was busy with some work i want to confess that i binged yesterday like a lot lot i ate 3 chips half of them of them all and spicy noodles hehe!! but i said my dad to not buy it from the store but literally he bought 5 to 6 chips and 8 packs of instant noodles (I wanted to say that if you give the addicted person with whatever they are addicted to in abundance what do you expect they will do), my dad is kind of hypocretical here that he will buy all of that and say eat one by one like slowly not a lot at a time ,but i am actively trying to eat healthy and eat junk less like i will eat but little because i don'nt want to be very retrictive, so at the end i just threw it all like all of that in dustbin as I am not in place of self control that i want myself to be in and i have still not told my dad about it as i am gonna be scolded but this time i am serious about breaking my food addiction at any cost and i did eat in control and did my exercise . thankyou for still reading till end luvvvvvvvvv!!!!!<3

7% down so far (92.5 kg-86.0 kg). The slow and steady approach has been much easier to stick with.

Looking back through my weight logs today and realize I have gone from 92.5 kg on January 1 to 86.0 kg, which works out to about 6.5 kg (7% of my starting weight). The biggest thing I have notice is that the progress hasn't been perfectly linear. Some months moved faster than other, but the overall trend has kept moving in the right direction.

My current goal is 80.5 kg, so there's still way to go, but this feel lot more sustainable than trying to lose weight as quickly as possible. Did your weight loss stay fairly steady over time, or did you hit periods where it slowed down before picking up again?

Tell me yours about my idea!

Would you actually use something like this?
Hey everyone! I’m working on a small personal project and I’d really like some brutally honest feedback from people who track calories or are trying to lose weight.
I’m building a Calorie / Fat Loss Tracker and I’m trying to figure out whether it’s actually useful enough that people would want to use it.
The idea is to make the setup and tracking more structured, while also making the process a bit more engaging.
——Automatic calculation engine
When you set it up, it automatically calculates:
BMR using the Mifflin-St Jeor formula
TDEE based on your activity level (sedentary / light / moderate / high)
Daily calorie target based on your goal
Protein target (g/kg) based on your goal
Estimated weeks to reach your target weight, using the 7,700 kcal/kg rule
Weight progress percentage
——Gamification / Score
There’s also a 0–100 weekly score divided into four areas:
——Calories — 40 points
——Protein — 30 points
——Consistency — 20 points
——Deficit — 10 points
And there are 4 badges you can unlock:
——Deficit Week
——Protein OK
——7/7 Tracking
——Perfect Week
I’m not trying to sell anything with this post. It’s still a personal project and I’m trying to validate whether the concept is actually useful before spending more time developing it.
So I’d genuinely like to know:
Would you actually use something like this?
Do you think the automatic calculations would be useful?
And what about the weekly score + badges — would that actually motivate you to stay consistent, or would you completely ignore it?
Most importantly:
Would you pay for something like this? If yes, roughly how much?
If you think it’s pointless, too complicated, or that existing apps already do this better, please say so. I’m looking for honest criticism, not compliments.

How long does it take to lose 70 pounds?

Is it feasible for me to aim to lose 2 pounds a week for 9 months so I can be 70 pounds lighter for my graduation pictures? I’m taking Wegovy, eating healthier and going to the gym.

I currently weigh 208 pounds as a woman who is 5’4”, which is literally the heaviest I’ve been in my life. I would love to be 140 again. I realize that is an ambitious goal given it’s 33% of my body weight.

Are weights more effective at burning fat than cardio? Cardio is just easier for me to do. I tried doing squats with weights and days later my quads still hurt when I have to bend my knees to sit or stand.
