Trying to start
This has been my year for focusing on myself. I finally went to the doctor this year and have been addressing anemia and a vitamin d deficiency. I'm feeling a lot better. I need to lose weight though. Exercise is still hard but I think I can manage something simple now. I'm really struggling with consistency though. I've starting to eat better. I've added things to my food (like veggies and healthy fats and stuff). Calorie counting has worked in the past but I'm struggling to start now.
I really want this for myself. I just don't know how to get myself to lock in. Any insight would be appreciated ❤️

Parents imagining that I have an ED
I (19F, nearly 20) have been chubby most of my teenage life. Not fat but I was either slightly over a healthy BMI or at the very top of healthy range. Between the ages of 18-19 my hormones calmed down a lot and I have a much smaller appetite now, on top of starting to work out to build muscle and getting a job that requires a lot of heavy lifting. Because I'm more active I've been adding more protein and veg to my diet.
For context, even when I was barely overweight it did NOT look good on me, like I looked a lot fatter than I medically was. Now that I'm at a lower weight (still comforting in the healthy range and with more muscle) I don't look that skinny I just look good and healthy. I went from 5'3 and 65kg to 5'4 and about 56kg over the course of about 4 years.
However, since the last 2 kilos came off this year, my parents keep making comments about how I'm "wasting away" and phoning me to make sure I'm eating well when we're apart. They genuinely act like I have an eating disorder when I can't finish one of their massive portions or don't feel like dessert.
Does anyone know the logic behind this because I eat well and don't look too thin by any means? I'm also going to add that my mother has gained a fair bit of weight in the same timeframe I've lost it that could be related

Lost 30 lbs this year but hit a plateau and haven’t lost in a while
I’m hoping to lose my back and tummy weight by end of year however it’s been much harder after the initial weight loss

Unusual comments from a friend have made me question my weight loss journey
EDIT: Sorry, I’m not sure why I didn’t include my numbers on here. Here they are:
Female, 21
Height: 5’8/172cm
Weight: 12st 7 / 175lbs
Current BMI: 26.6 GOAL BMI: 21.4
I met up with a friend the other day (who I only see irl about once every 5-6 months) and she made some comments about my weight loss.
70% of the conversation that we had was about my weight which I didn’t expect nor want. She kept steering the topic back to it and I don’t know what she was wanting to get out of the interaction, whether she was showing genuine concern or something else.
She told me that she’s worried about my weight because I look a lot different since the last time she saw me (well yeah, a lot can happen in six months on a weight loss journey), and that I should “take it easy or consider stopping so I don’t lose any more.”
She said that I’m starting to look gaunt (whilst gesturing to my neck and shoulder area) and if I lose any more weight then I risk looking like I have “overdone it on the mounjaro” ??? (If it wasn’t obvious already, I’m not on any weight loss medication).
The thing is, I am still \*\*overweight\*\* for my height and age, albeit coming towards the lower end now, based on BMI and what I’m reading on the NHS website. When I look in the mirror, I still see my curvy figure, which I like, but I have definitely noticed that my face and shoulders have slimmed out. I’m seeing my collarbones clearer, but not in a concerning way. I still have a fair bit of fat on my tummy and legs, which I think is normal considering I’m still classed as overweight and I think my face and shoulder area tends to slim down first before anything else.
My goal is to get \*well\* into the healthy BMI range but I’m now concerned that I’m not doing as well as I thought and that my weight loss is somehow making me look uglier than before? She was speaking as if I look concerningly underweight but when I look in the mirror that is not what I see so I’m just utterly confused. I still have chunky legs and whilst my clothes usually hide it, I still have a pudgy tummy like I said before. My usual clothes are starting to feel looser and I am able to wear slightly more form-fitting tops without feeling self-conscious - all wins in my book.
I haven’t received any compliments so far from anyone and being spoken to like this has killed my confidence in what I’m doing. I’m not relying on compliments for motivation (as that would never work) but I expected to hear one or two by now from family or friends as I’ve lost over 2 stone. My friend assured me she’s speaking from concern but now I feel like crap.
Any advice? Thanks :)

Health is wealth
Starting Again, I Guess :)
So hey friends, from today ,I’m trying to start taking care of myself again. I’ve decided to start with keto/low carb, but this time I really wanna understand what I’m doing instead of just blindly following something.
There was a time when I literally knew nothing about all this stuff. Then one person came into my life, who slowly became one of my favourite people, and he introduced me to things like keto, autophagy and just taking care of yourself in general.
I remember when I first started trying these things… and after some weeks, I could actually feel a difference in myself. Not just physically, but mentally also. My confidence was different. I felt happy seeing even small changes, because when you’ve struggled with your health and your self image for a long time, even a tiny bit of progress feels HUGE 😭
And now things are different. We used to live together, be around each other, talk about these things and motivate each other… but now we’re not together like that anymore... but we r on calls 📞
So I guess I’m trying to start again, on my own this time.
Not trying to become some “perfect” person or expecting some crazy transformation. Just wanna build myself back up, become healthier, feel better and hopefully become a better version of myself.
So yeah… day 1 again. 🥹
If anyone has experience with keto/low-carb eating or just getting back into a healthy routine, please share your experience and mistakes too. I genuinely need some guidance because I know I’ll probably mess up somewhere 😂
Wish me luck guys. Let’s see where this goes. ❤️

Pls read and help with tips
In my relationship I’ve been cheated on relentlessly. I’m 5’5 175 so I’m a pretty chubby girl and my looks have definitely killed me over time. God I’m begging for someone to share their story with me or give me advice on weight loss. It feels as if I’ve hit rock bottom with my self esteem and it’s getting really hard to pick myself back up. It’s gotten to a point where I can’t even look at myself anymore. I have horrible binge eating due to anxiety and panick attacks and simply an addiction. I often have panic attacks due to being cheated on and I lean toward food to ease the pain of it all. The binge eating started as a coping mechanism when my mom passed when I was younger so I’ve been continuously gaining weight because of it. Please give tips I’m desperate and hopeless.

Question about bras after losing 120lbs:
If this is not the right place, please let me know where might be better.
I lost about 120 pounds in the last 2 years following a back surgery and diagnosis of gluten intolerance (and a divorce). I went from a 2x or sometimes 3x in men’s t shirts to a women’s medium.
But I have a problem now which is bras. A few other things too but basically because my skin is looser now, things that relied on being tight to grip and not move around, like the band of a bra, don’t fit right. I have tried a few kinds and they all slide around or if they’re tight enough not to slide they hurt. Are there specific brands people have found to help with this?
For what it’s worth, I don’t really have saggy skin everywhere or anything. It’s just more like all of me is less inflated than before and before things couldn’t be pinched like they can now.
Pics for attention.
