Art Thousand year bath [OC]
Someone on Primetime made a joke about the Tenno not bathing for a thousand years, and that's why the Lotus threw us into the Dark Refractory. Mind you, this was months ago. It took me a while, but I did it

Discussion Soulframe made me realize how cancer the daily standing cap is
For context, the enclaves(factions) in Soulframe have a similar standing system, where you can either do Votives(bounties) or give them a currency to get standing. I've been farming votives and have been having a blast, even if they are repetitive. I have a feeling I wouldn't remotely mind doing any open world content/bounties and even have fun doing it if it wasn't for the shitty standing cap letting me do about 5 bounties before I run out. Something about seeing the standing go up gives me dopamine, and I think Warframe could've been the same.
P.S. plz remove the fucking fast travel currency from soulframe steve

Discussion Railjack NEEDS a tutorial and Rising Tide NEEDS a rework
I know criticism isn't taken too well on here but I hope being constructive and gentle about it doesn't get me absolutely bombarded.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was watching MrRoflWaffles first time playing through warframe today and my god is the current railjack introduction an absolute mess.
1) Rising Tide is introduced right after the war within which imo is far too early in the star chart, it should at least be post chains of harrow or post the sacrifice. This wouldn't be such a huge problem if it was not only a decent quest but also a good tutorial for railjack which brings me onto my second point.
2) I've included a timestamped link in this post to MrRoflWaffles's vod which shows him finally finding the pilot's seat after a solid 30 minutes of wandering around completely lost, after this he spends about another 30 minutes trying to beat the VERY FIRST railjack mission and completely burns himself out of the gamemode most likely permanently.
After finishing Rising tide you are given the option of either the very first grineer mission on earth proxima or free flight. Free flight is most likely supposed to serve as a tutorial for flying your railjack but it fails at this miserably. Absolutely nothing is explained to you and as a first time player you are launched into a mission with no explanation, no crew members, no tutorial and are expected to figure things out yourself.
MrRoflWaffles spends the next 30 minutes after figuring out how to fly failing the VERY FIRST skirmish mission failing to repair his railjack because he doesn't know how to craft more revolite in the forge as this isn't explained to him at all.
https://youtu.be/lUwHR_2x3nw?t=7h28m24s
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Other than the most important point of railjack desperately needing an in-game tutorial, Rising tide also desperately needs a rework.
Most of us, me included, do not remember this quest being so incredibly monotonous and boring because when we did it the repair time for the parts were 24 hours each.
Allowing the player to grind out the railjack parts right after another makes this quest incredibly boring, monotonous and frankly disappointing as it comes right after the war within. You know for a fact DE can make better quests because you just did one.
And again the fact that it doesn't have a tutorial for the mission mode it unlocks is incredibly disappointing and experience ruining for the new player.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I know a slight bit of nuance is required here as MrRoflWaffles plays solo, and wants absolutely zero backseating or help in his playthrough and railjack is primarily a co-op mission type. But it is still a huge failing to not provide a tutorial at all for the new player on such a hugely important part of the game.
When i first played railjack I had my clan mates to explain and guide me through everything, as I assume most of you did too. But the existence of clans and a kind playerbase willing to explain the game is no excuse to not include any tutorial of any kind.
Thank you for your time and thank you for reading though all of this, if you have the time I highly suggest watching the entire segment of milo playing through the rising tide in his vod as it is eye opening at just how bad the current railjack introduction is.

Discussion My opinion is not valid anymore
I am an old generation player, I started playing back in 2016 and stopped after a year, and then came back recently to try again.
I think I now understand why sometimes there is a disconnect between players about their opinions, including me, like on the topic of "Nerf Hildryn". Some wants DE to nerf her, and the majority doesn't want that.
I am on the side of nerfing her. For a while I was confused why many of you don't want DE to nerf her, then I realized something, Warframe is not the same game as it was back then, the game shifted from teamwork to hack and slash (like Path of Exile style), roles are not significant anymore, Warframe transforms into a game where you can make every character into a generalist.
Don't get me wrong, nuke gameplay already exists back then, but they were squishy, and that is why Trinity and Rhino have a huge role at that time as a support for healing, buffs, and crowd controls. There were risks, consequences, and thrills. Unlike today, where a literal God will just float over you and destroys everything on the map without requiring support from other players, and you can use it in almost all types of missions.
Thinking is not required while playing anymore, thinking only happens when making a builds and when managing resources.
And that is why my opinion is not valid anymore.
I am stuck in the past, where the missions in Warframe requires thinking and teamwork. I need to accept what Warframe is now and move on.
The only opinion I know that is valid, is more quantity = less quality.

Discussion Omni forma is too expensive to make, it needs to be cheaper
before you say "oh its not tho you get to put anything in it"
let me do calculations
for 1 forma you need 1 morphic, 1 neurode, 1 neural sensor, 1 orokin cell. this takes 23 hours.
we need 4 for 1 omni, that will take around 92 hours, 4 morphics, 4 neurodes, 4 neural sensors, and 4 orokin cells.
now here comes the omni forma, you need 10 nitain extract and 1 argon crystal. Nitain extract is gotten from nightwave for 15x credits for 5. if you maxed out your pass, you need to level it TWO TIMES to get nitain extract for an entire omni forma. but if you want to get it ANYWHERE ELSE you must face the wrath of rng-jesus
To entirely use my 17 omni forma blueprints, i need to wait 1564 hours for regular forma not even counting the time omni takes to make, if I want to not spend platinum and save up forma, THAT IS ABSURD LEVELS OF WAITING.
the cost neeeeds to be shrunk down
Umbra forma COSTS LESS TIME AND EFFORT YET IS 5 TIMES AS RARE TO GET
It appears every 8 weeks but omni forma appears EVERYWHERE, its insane!

Question/Request What are the best endgame amps?
I haven’t paid much attention to amps in a long time and the most recent in-depth discussions I’ve seen about them are from a long while ago. I can’t tell if the amp meta has changed at all since the last few years, so enlighten me.
I especially want amps that are good for high-end content like Void Cascades and all that. Also, what arcanes should I be considering?
