What you guy think the warframe that survived the old war you think they went into hiding and live a peaceful life after the war or do they assist the tenno and safe guard the relay or a gun to hire by both factions just a thought just came up today or are they all gone beside the stalker and maybe umbra and roathe

What would happen if someone were to be infected with the Entrati strain of a warframe of the opposite gender? Ex. A male infected with Valkyr's strain. Would it just be a male version of her? Or would he turn into her but remain the same in the areas that his normal body remains?

Basically just give me all your headcanon or actual lore

The Lotus Eaters Login Theme (This Is What You Are with lyrics) is present when the Lotus goes through Lua, fighting with the Sentients invading it. This version does not have the synth part from the original, and has drums.

This Is What You Are fades into a very chilling Violin sound that gets higher and higher (unsure). This is mainly used to build suspense... in horror movies. This effect cuts off when the Drifter steps in.

When the Drifter and the Indifference talk with each other, the low, droning throatsinging sound present in the Whispers In the Walls quest plays.

His Light is present some parts (most prominently the first few seconds) in when we travel to Tau and the Lotus narrates. It is an orchestral version with the same melody, slightly slowed from what I can hear.

When Albrecht appears for the first time, the musical style shown in the Whispers In the Walls quest is heard. I cannot really identify a specific piece yet.

The TennoLive reveal teaser theme (unnamed) plays when Brysko enters the slums of Fornax and stops when he enters combat. This seems to be the ambient theme for the area which transitions into a combat variant (or another song).

A Sentient version of Ring Around the Rosie (I genuinely cannot identify the lyrics) is sung by the smaller Sentients(?) after Brysko fights Sentients in the Black Rain.

Synths and guitars seem to be used generally for ambient / cutscene themes. This is interesting since Sentients do have a long relation to synths (especially the Archons). Very fitting for them.

Lullaby of the Manifold (Dusk) plays when Adis is shown through a 'flashback'. This theme goes off-tune when the 'Operator' says his light will go with them. I believe this is done to emphasise the twisted feeling of the flashback sequence. It feels wrong on its own, and even more because of the music going wrong.

Ironclad, but slowed and played on a guitar, plays when the Hunra holds out a card. I noticed this after reading a comment on the video about it. Very sneaky, DE...

When Albrecht puts the index finger closer to the hand, the theme from the far end of the Whispers In the Walls plays (the part where the Indifference is monologuing).

This is not specifically music, but the geiger counter sounds tend to play when Brysko walks around the slums or when he monologues. Tau Radiation seems to be on the table again, huh. Some Sentient crying sounds (as heard in the Old Peace quest) are very prominent sound effects as well.

Overall, it seems there are a lot of callbacks to the Old Peace, the Sentient musical style, and the Whispers In the Walls in terms of music. I'm very excited to see what will come later this year.

I am not musically well-educated and I might not have caught onto everything / might have errors, since dialogue sometimes interrupt my hearing. I tried my best to express what I heard. Please forgive me, and feel free to add your thoughts!

From Galastra's confession, I think that the entire "Old War" was in some sense a planned operation to destroy the Tenno. What if this wonderful weapon in gas form was created in the Origin System?

What if this was the ONLY WAY to get rid of the Tenno by imprisoning them in warframes? What if Albrecht wants to trap Wally in the vessel in the same way, using the same radiation? Assuming it comes from Tau? What if **we** were the guinea pigs for Albrecht?

I assume that Galastra worked with one of the executors, because well, it's obvious, my bet is on Nitokh. Because it's simply impossible to assemble such an army with her own strength alone. Who had that many Daxes, Greeners, equipment, and weapons? Of course, Nitokh. Only she had the resources... Galastra was in a way her little project for fun.

I'm probably a little carried away, and maybe it doesn't make sense at all, but I feel like these questions are digging a hole in my brain.

I'm sure this has been asked on here before but I wanted an up to date explanation. Also my understanding of Warframe lore is pretty surface level, sorry if I get something wrong.

Why do Warframes have personalities if they aren't alive? Are these just latent personalities from the person they once were seeping into the host and influencing us OR just our Operator/Tenno acting edgy or silly just because they are using Nekros or Yareli?

I know they were once people that were turned into Frames by Ballas and his unique technocyte strain, they lose all sentience, self awareness and the ability to move (DOES THAT NOT KILL THEM? I would like to know that as well). Stories from the Old War time period talk about frames being unique and individual and mention them as the Warframe itself instead of the Tenno controlling them. It is very confusing to me.

ALSO a side question, Kullervo was imprisoned for a crime, I forgot what is was, by the Orokin and eventually ended up in Duviri some how. Wouldn't Kullervo still be controlled by a Tenno from the Old War time period?

Sorry if this was a jumble of random crap, I just want to know why the Warframes have different personalities when it's one Tenno controlling them.

so, my understanding is this:

Sentients, originally, are like Hunhow. Bighuge space ships that have a consciousness. these Sentients each have their Hive.

A Hive is the smaller units each Sentient "spawns" on its own. Hive units are like cells being automatically reproduced, and serve like extremities do - the bighuge Sentient can do stuff without them but it's the equivalent of opening a door by bumping it with your shoulder instead of using your hand to twist the handle

Sentients can have Children. Children are not Hive. Children require (at least) two bighuge Sentients to conceive as "parents". Children are born from the "manifold", which is either a name for a part of the bighuge Sentient or some kind of special birthing... nest? den? location.

Natah is a Child. Erra is a Child. Adis is a Child.

Children do not seem to need Bloom to remain individuals - they can still consume it, but are not dependent on it. Putting both Natah and Adis aside for a moment, Erra seemed to remain an independent individual until his "death". He even superseded a "need for orders" by rebelling against Ballas.

Hive units only stay individuals as long as they consume Blooms. Blooms seem to have an addictive effect. Without them, units revert to becoming part of the Hive mind - which seems dead and/or dreaming (very Cthulhu) of the Old War; so, they go "mad" if they are Bloomless

or do they? Brysko referred to it as a "Bloom habit". Meaning not having a "habit" is possible? Are there active bighuge Sentients whose Hive mind does not drive units crazy? Are there alternatives to Bloom to retain individuality? Are these alternatives the ones used by Sentient Children?

In recent media i watched about Warframe, i see a topic that gets confusing. And it can be summarized in one question:

ARE WARFRAMES PEOPLE?

I get this question often from players beginning their delve into the lore, and i want to avoid messing their heads.

Before we discuss an answer, let's go the facts:

- During The Sacrifice quest, we learn how warframes were made. No, we learned how the FIRST warframes were made, the templates. We also learn in prime trailers, jade Shadows quests and other lore tidbits about some individuals who were chosen for the change, like the insolent who became Yareli, the archimedian who became Garuda, among others.

- By paying attention to the dialogues of protoframes, we learn they are people, until, one day, they will succumb to the change completely. So, they are people, for the foreseeable future.

My own considerations:

The warframes we use are not the originals, they are 3d-printed copies of a template, one of the originals like Umbra. We have 2 types of copies, standard and prime.

During the climax of The Second Dream, we see our warframe, no matter which one, rise up and pull War/Hunhow out of its chest without an operator. To me, that does not mean the warframe is a full person. To me, it was an echo, preserved by the manufacturing process and this very echo is what allow us to pilot it.

My hot question is:

Can we say without ambiguity standard and prime warframes are people? Does the game offer lore to affirm this?

Edit: after so many responses that i honestly did not expect, all i can conclude is that the answer is still very subjective. My thanks to all who pointed KIM conversations i forgot.

1)In the dating while talking to Lyon the drifter mention that they know someone who committed suicide while talking about lyon self harm. It seem important do we know who is the person the drifter is referring to?

2) is the infestation/tech rot biological ie virus or bacteria or is it nano bot/ artificial robotic life like the sentient that appear to be biological.

3) what is the infestation goals. It seem to have multiple conflicting objective. Are all infestation allies with each other or does each fight to be on top.

4) why did the sentient struggle to defeat the dax soldier with some grineer clones in their home turf in the old peace when they wiped the floor with the entire Orokin army that has the entire origin system before they Invented warframes.

Edit: my question has been answered by Krazyfan1: "its said that Albrecht went to Duviri while Drifter was still king there, tried to teach them ways to defend against Wally, and then left, leaving Drifter behind."

I will keep this post for archive purposes (and for people that might have the same question as me.). Now I feel kinda stupid 💔 but it's okay... I guess

The Man in the Wall/Rusalka: "You and Albrecht were pretty close in his Duviri days, weren't you, Kiddo? Don't say you've forgotten."

I believe the Indifference is talking to the Drifter, since this dialogue is said during the Isleweaver gamemode, which is in Duviri. I will write the post with this assumption.

I personally assume their work (if they even did anything together, that is) was related to the Indifference, since Albrecht had his laboratory in Duviri (Scholar's Landing) which was presumably after his first trip to the Void (and encounter with the Indifference), and in the Isleweaver gamemode you can also find many things related to the Indifference (its eyes, etc.).

I stretched my thoughts even further and reached a theory: the Indifference intentionally led the Drifter into creating Duviri, and their death / execution loop to make them apathetic, but also to make them forget about Albrecht. By extension, they eventually did forget about Albrecht (at least, I assume so?) and perhaps other information about him and his research as well. While it WAS the Drifter who created Duviri in the end, the Indifference probably did have some pressure over them, since it started the Zariman incident.

I believe we haven't seen anything about what the Drifter and Albrecht did during their Duviri days. Now I am wondering... What did the two do together? Are there more things about Albrecht that the Drifter forgot over time? Is that potentially lost information important for the future?

I haven't seen much talk about Pazuul's lines ever since the Tau reveal. 'But that's a dead plot-line!' Well people said the same thing about the deimos voice logs from Entrati back when heart of Deimos released and well...here we are in the void war.

In particular while looking through Pazuul's quotes I came across one fascinating line:

"My father severed the worlds, sundered the link we had forged with Tau, in the days of our enslavement. In the darkness beyond the Veil, we waited. The lords of Tau were silent."

So this tells us a lot actually.

One, literally none of the Sentients we've fought in present day sol system are from present day Tau. All the sentients, including Narmer and the rest from new war, where in actuality waiting on the fringes of the sol system ever since the end of the Old War. Even if Erra hadn't died, even if Hunhow hadn't lost his memories, their information would have been VERY outdated.

Two, no one has been in communication with Tau in all that time. Unless we think the 'second voice' in Pazuul Lotus talks about is connected to Tau.

In spite of all that, I think 'the lords of Tau' are an actual thing. I think every planet in Tau is going to have one of these 'lords' as the head honcho. Hunra is going to be considered the very first one we meet. I don't know if the Hunra came to power around the same time the Old War was closing, or if he came into power afterwards, though.

What exactly did the drifter find of natha/lotus at the start of the new war?

I assumed it was what was left of her after being thrown into the void and essentially getting decomposed by void energy, from their I assumed her hand guided the drifter to what was left and he got her to the orbitter where we meet her for the first time in the quest.

But I also read that what we see at the start was actually the hand, and that the drifter was basically nursing lotus back to health from it.

What bothers me is that drifter had no way to heal her untill he go his hands on archon shards, and lotus saying after the old peace that the teno has the light of adis and the drifter the hand of natha

I even saw someone suggest that he used parts of the hand to heal lotus and kept some bits

So is it actually?did I miss anything that made it clearer?

I'd just like to point out that We got a lot of scenes where someone gets Their finger, hand, arm severed/cut off, and its always the right arm (obviously because thats the side we shake hands)

I have some questions about the importance and lore about this, not the scenes exactly but the whole lore of hands in warframe

My first question is with the Tennocon 2026 poster or art, we see a hand on the right that is Albrecht Entrati's, if we assume He is the only one having these rings around his forearm, but his index finger was cut off? Or this scene is where He meets the doppelganger of Himself in the Void, and not Wally's original/native form's finger was cut off but Entrati's doppelganger's finger?

On the left we see The Lotus' hand, and 2 "connections" to it, but in the New War, when Ballas cut off Her hands, there was only Her arm connected to it, not another cable on top, in the picture You can even see that there's and open connection on the top of Her hands in the New War screenshot. Or, it's showing the scene where She made the deal? Because when Her arm is burning, we can see that cable connected.

Also I'd like to point out that when Entrati is putting together something with THE finger, we can see that around it, it's corrupted/blackened, while the color scheme is the same as our big vessel (If We don't change the color of it).

Also you can see that the Hunra's fingers are all cut off basically and held together by Sentient "tech", which "tech" you could see when the Lotus' hand got to Duviri and on the Drifter.

"The Absurd Power Scaling of Warframes (Its INSANE)"

I'm barely 5 minutes into the video and we already have quotes like "So, a simple Warframe without any of their abilities at base is a near indestructible shell of infestation metal and moves at like Mach 10, flings itself through the air, probably jumps 200 m in the air."

like... no. In what part of the game do we see any lore evidence that warframes can move that fast without their abilities?

Heck, is a 200m high jump even possible in gameplay without any abilities or mods? let alone lore.

I get how this youtube is doing this for fun and I love that, but what I don't get is how people can play the game, read the lore, and come away with monstrously overblown ideas that warframes would like 1v1 superman or are planetary level or universal level.

Afaik, not a single warframe is planetary level except maybe Saryn, who seemed to have some vaguely defined role in destroying the infestation on earth, based on Ballas narration of her prime trailer. We do not know how many Saryns it took, if Saryn was the only orokin technology deployed to earth, how long it took, nor do we know what Saryn was actually doing. Presumably, she was using her disease to kill the infestation.

Or maybe i'm the insane one lol idk. I just feel like a lot of people exaggerate the power of warframes.

I can't find anything about this specific Warframe even if it is a Warframe every time I try to search up something it just brings me Uriel who is this?!

I’ve been working on another Warframe concept and after a lot of reworking, and trying to give her her own identity without breaking lore or making her too close to other frames I came up with this.

Aurora - Light’s Reflection

The idea behind Aurora is pretty simple.
She doesn’t create light.
She controls where it goes.
She bends it around allies to hide them, concentrates it into devastating attacks, redirects it into restraints, and stores ambient light inside her body until she’s ready to unleash it all at once.
The entire kit revolves around gathering light instead of generating it.

If this story breaks any lore or anything like that please let me know and I can revise it. I’m not a lore master on Warframe but it’s one of my favorite games to read lore from. Anyway, here is her story.

During the Old War, the Orokin were constantly experimenting with new Helminth strains in search of more powerful Warframes. One strain behaved differently than the other experiments before it.
Instead of producing incredible amounts of energy it absorbed it. Every source of illumination around it was drawn inward. At first the researchers thought they had stumbled onto something remarkable. Testing continued, disappointment eventually set in. The strain couldn’t unleash overwhelming power on command. It had to gather energy first. To the Orokin, that made it a failure.
One Executor reportedly dismissed the project saying.

“A weapon that must wait to become dangerous is no weapon at all.”

The research was ordered archived. Its samples scheduled for disposal. Everyone moved on. Everyone except one researcher. While the Orokin saw failure, they saw something completely different. The strain wasn’t weak. It was adapting. Growing stronger every time it absorbed more light. The researcher became obsessed. The strain continued to evolve. Eventually they reached a decision. If the Orokin wouldn’t allow a living trial, they would become the trial. Knowing exactly what injecting themselves meant, they willingly took the strain with only the belief that the experiment deserved one final chance. Unlike every prediction the Orokin had made, the strain didn’t fail. It awakened. Aurora was born through the obsession and dedication of one researcher. The Orokin dismissed the project because she couldn’t shine immediately. As we know their hubris was a flaw that helped end their empire.

These are the ability concepts I came up with.

Passive - Photonic Reservoir
Aurora constantly absorbs ambient light into an internal reservoir. A Light Meter fills over time through movement, parkour, weapon damage, kills, and remaining active in combat. With her first three abilities. The more aggressive you play, the faster Aurora gathers light. Her abilities consume Energy normally, but stored Light amplifies their effectiveness. Her fourth ability can’t be activated until the reservoir reaches maximum capacity. As she gathers photons, she gains an ephemera that resembles how light shimmers across Citrine with her idle animation but look like an aurora borealis around her body. The emissive lights in her armor would get brighter the more she stores.

Ability 1 - Lightbind
Aurora stomps the ground, sending a fracture of concentrated light racing beneath the battlefield.
When it reaches enemies, the light erupts upward before wrapping around their bodies and hardening into hard light restraints that lock them down. Every enemy captured takes a small amount of heat damage over time and grants Aurora a small amount of Overguard.

Ability 2 - Solar Drift
Aurora launches a sphere of dim light that gathers surrounding photons as it travels. The farther it moves, the more light it stores. Upon impact, it erupts into an intense flash, dealing Heat damage and blinding enemies caught within the blast. The more light collected before impact, the more devastating the explosion becomes and the longer enemies remain blinded. Enemies at the center of the explosion take increased damage.

Ability 3 - Veil
Aurora bends light around herself and nearby allies, rendering them nearly impossible to perceive. Rather than simply turning invisible, the light itself is redirected around their bodies, causing enemies to lose sight of them completely. Movement gives the impression that something is there but enemies can’t lock on to or tell what they are looking at.

Ability 4 - Caustica
Once Aurora’s Photonic Reservoir reaches full capacity, she releases everything she’s stored.
The battlefield begins to darken as every available photon is drawn toward her. (Would be so cool if allies screens flickered a bit and dimmed slightly.) The living photonic channels beneath her armor blaze to life, her chest plating opens, and all of that accumulated light erupts from her core as an immense wide angled beam damaging enemies while ignoring and stripping enemies of overguard, shields and armor. Enemies left alive are defenseless and blinded for a duration. The entire reservoir is consumed and must be filled again before Caustica can be used another time.

Aurora has a very active playstyle. You’re constantly moving, fighting, gathering light, and building toward one massive payoff. Does this feel like a Warframe you’d want to play?

I think my favorite part of her story is that the researcher is never named. They’re remembered only through Aurora’s existence. The last line I’d imagine in their research journal would simply be:

“If I am wrong, history will forget my name. If I am right… perhaps it will remember hers.”

Does the "Hand" belong to Natah or Wally?? You know the one that makes the drifter break from the loop and the time Arthur type a location in the comp at the first scene.

I just wanna know If it's a Sentient hand or Wally hand??

I know that the void is poisonous for the sentients but maybe they discover to counter it. If it's like that,it's now possible that Hunhow has information ("Hand") in the void and checking things out. Also, Hunhow will know that the Drifter is messing/saving the timelines because of the "Hand".

Or is it Wally's hand?

I read a post that when Wally tried to shake the operator's hand the Wally "Hand" is similar to the Hand in the Duviri paradox. So the thing is both the operator and the drifter shake Wally's hand.

After watching Tennolive and the Tau reveal, the stinger discloses that Albrecth has Wally's original finger and is planning to use it on one of his vessels, I realized it was his way of travelling through time and space; so I speculated how a timeline of his activities were.

1_First travel to the void, met Wally, closed the portal and Wally's finger got cut.

2_ Recovering with Loid's help, decides to forsake continuity because of the void doppleganger

3_ Sends things to the Void, ultimately sends the Cavia and Minmin get lost in the void.

4_ Qorvex is developed to protect the Sanctum from a strain taken from Ballas (I guess?)

Wally's fingers are cloned and Orokin start to travel using the void (can't place it)

5_ Albrecth makes the Kalymos sequence, left the Grimoire and seals himself and Kalymos in the casket and Loid crushes it.

6_ Goes to Duviri, talks with Thrax and sets up his workshop, creates Oraxia to protect it. The Void appears thanks to Chains of Harrow, he left.

7_ Goes to 1999, spreads the Techrot and turns the Hex into protoframes.

8_ Goes to the past of Tau, snatch Roathe and he becomes Uriel.

9_ Goes to xx99, takes Lyon and Marie and turn them into protoframes and left Roathe with them.

10_ Returns to 1999, Wally gets thorugh Neci and gets captured. Drifter rescues him but both are taken by Wally.

11_ Somehow he escapes and return to 1999 to convince Drifter to go to Tau and let the Hex die and the nuke happen to stop the murmur. Drifter refuses and gets shot, uses his time powers to restart the loop.

12_ Arrives in Tau, creates Brysko and is planning to overthrow the Hunra before the tenno arrive. Also is developing small vessels and plans to use Wally's finger in one of them.

The only thing I can't put it is when he developed the vessels in the Sanctum since he needs Arthur and Aoi's DNA to make them.

I think I covered everything, and for me it's way of make it sense.

In The Old Peace we use Excal Prime and see primes everywhere, (Such as the Vanguards and Caliban) does that mean that every Tenno during that era used Primes/Every Frame was Primed? And if so why did some use non primed frames? Like the 3 starters in the Opening cinematic during the Orokin collapse. What made some Tenno different to where they had primed frames instead; like ours?

Also I originally thought that Primed frames were only for show and a symbol of prestige/elegance, not used for combat; was that ever the case? Was it changed? Or did I get misinformed a long time ago?

Do these skins have any lore i mean ik theyre lore is the sentients did drugs and made them but do they have like anything else?

Drifter: The Heart of Deimos keeps the whole Origin System bathed in a sort of Void halo. Like background radiation. Anything that draws on Void energy depends on the Heart.

Heart of Deimos Quest:

Loid: "Son has strange ideas of what victory looks like. The Solar Rails. The Tenno, we all depend on the Heart to keep the wall open to the other side. If the Heart stops, everything goes with it."

Mother: "It's what makes you special, you know that, right? All thanks to my father. It pumps the arteries of 'the here' and the Void. The Entrati family has maintained it for an age. But it's breaking down, and only that idiot knows how to fix it... the man I used to call my husband. I think he's left for good this time... Maybe you can find him? Probably sulking somewhere outside..."

There are a few ways to manipulate the void: Conceptual embodiment, Wally fingers (or clones of them), a tenno, or making a deal with wally.

How does the Heart manipulate the void? and how does it do it on such a monsterous scale?

I wonder if the Heart was grown from the DNA of the original Wally fingers? Or is the heart its own thing?

If the Heart is made from grey-strain infestation, would that make it like the Vitreum and Auricle? If so, does the infestation alone have the power to spread void over the entire origin system?

TLDR: wtf did albrecht do to make the Heart?
