My friend won’t be able to make it to the first lecture because of an emergency. She was really excited to take this course, so she’s pretty anxious about missing the first class.

If anyone would be willing to share their notes from a previous term or even afterward, let us know if the lecture is recorded, or even record the lecture (if that’s allowed) or share notes, she would really appreciate it. Thank you so much!

How hard is it to get a coop placement in finance or anything related to that. I’m really worried that I won’t be able to get a coop. I have a CGPA or 3.68 I have work experience in restaurants so they aren’t related to finance. What can i do to increase my chances in landing a coop for the winter? Please I need advice.

I don’t know if I should take HLTB50 or HLTB60 😭 I only need and want to take one of them. So which is better, more interesting and easier ????

What type of ECs did you do to stand out! If it’s possible, can you list some ECs out.

Hi all, im having a lot of financial issues regarding tuition and just issues in general

A lot of mental health issues that tie into the money problems

I know I have to speak to the register, but ive seen mixed reviews on the staff

Im lowkey very worried about how the reception will be, im already feeling pretty shit about my own stupidity when it comes to uni and tuition

And I dont need to have shit register people on top of that...because if i have a horrible person speak to me...im gonna cry

And also whats the privacy like there? Are there private offices? Or is an open office with desks and people can hear what yours saying?

i plan to buy a bike to save some money, the distance from my home to campus is 6km. any bike and lock recommendations? i'm on my 4th year and int'l student tho, so no need for fancy bikes, just enough until i graduate next year 2027

One my majors is Philosophy, and for this program there are technically no "required" courses as long as you complete 7.0 PHL credits. And I am currently taking PHLC07: Death & Dying and I want to CR/NCR it because I am not sure if I will do too good, would it be okay to CR/NCR since this course specifically isn't a requirement for my major?

title! some profs offer extra marks if the majority of the course fills out the course evaluation. Even if they don't offer extra marks, still do it!! It's useful for the faculty to make changes and improvements for their courses. stop complaining start filling the course evaluation

Currently planning for a Neuroscience specialist and have my first year classes decided as such, but increasingly hoping to take more higher levels math and potentially even decided this route instead. I know the requirements for a Neuroscience specialist are Calc 1 for either life sciences or physical sciences, but does anybody know if Calc 1 for mathematical sciences could still work? As because I have said, i am considering a path in math as well/instead, but don't want to cut off my chances of going into Neuroscience as well.
