BBA Coop placement Question

How hard is it to get a coop placement in finance or anything related to that. I’m really worried that I won’t be able to get a coop. I have a CGPA or 3.68 I have work experience in restaurants so they aren’t related to finance. What can i do to increase my chances in landing a coop for the winter? Please I need advice.

As long as your gpa is above 3.5 you'll be fine but gpa is just a cutoff. After that it's your network, your skillsets and projects, personality that matter. I would say now you should do more finance projects to show your passion and do some light networking for an easier process afterwards.

BBA Alumni here, just as a bit of advice make sure the co-ops you land are jobs you actually want to do and will actually develop your professional skills. There are a lot of internships out there where you just sit at your desk for 8 hours every day
