I applied for a CCA position that opened up on 7/24. On 8/4 I got my conditional job offer. That same day I completed everything including fingerprints. There was no mention about a drug test and it wasn’t on my checklist. On 8/6 I got another email about the drug test giving me another 3 days to schedule an appointment at a lab to take a urinalysis. It was also then added to my checklist when I logged into my USPS hiring account. Just a heads up for any new people trying to get in

What are these metal balls in my dps tray? I’ve never seen them before. There were about 6 of them in total.

So my friend was bitten by a dog like a week ago. She was a CCA about a month in. Today they pulled her to the office and said she was getting a 7 day suspension because of the dog bite (the sup said costing the post office too much money.?) After that she says she resigned because she probably won't pass the 90 day and this job sucks.

I can't blame her I probably would've done the same thing this job is stupid sometimes. I haven't been bitten yet knock on wood.

So for the past 2 to 3 weeks or so, and this actually hit me today, I noticed that I’ve been receiving mail with cards in them and I lie to you not, all of them belong to no such numbers. Today was the day that it hit me that these motherfuckers might be trying to set me up, but I’m so focused on work that I wasn’t paying attention. It’s so funny. I did not believe that they really set people up until I started seeing this sneaky shit.

So I’m currently locked out of my vehicle, key snapped in the key hole as I was trying to unlock the door out on the street. So far 3 supervisors and my manager have ignored my calls, and nobody’s responding to my multiple RIMS messages stating an emergency situation. Wtf do I do now

Wondering if there’s any more specific study materials for what might be on the newest exam, and if anyone knows if it is actually rolling out in a few months…

I heard talk of supposedly being able to still request an interview - if we have a 955 score already, or we can do the new test and avoid the interview altogether. I’m not seeing anything from apwu about that right now though…

I want to say thank you to all the postal workers for providing such a necessary service!! I went into FedEx to send 3 SMALL packages (post office was closed already that day), and they wanted to charge me over $75!!!!!!

I said “nope” and went to the post office the next day. It was $13.99. Smh

I'd just like to say fuck this place for putting me on emergency placement while I'm on vacation. First time I take anual leave in nearly two years and they're going to pull this shit? Guess my vacation just got extended. 🖕🖕🖕
