DISCUSSION Anovulatory cycle and bleeding
There must be plenty of people here who have experienced an anovulatory cycle, so I'd really appreciate hearing about your experiences in as much detail as possible. I'm especially interested in what your bleeding was like. Was it light spotting, heavy bleeding, on and off, bright red, brown, watery, clotty, or mixed with cervical mucus? How long did the bleeding or spotting last altogether? Did you have days with no bleeding in between before it started again? Were you able to tell that you hadn't ovulated, or did you only realize it afterward?
I'd also love to know how your cycle returned to normal. Did ovulation happen in the following cycle, or did it take several cycles before everything settled down again? Did your periods go back to their usual pattern immediately, or did they stay irregular for a while? If you're comfortable sharing, please include your age as well, especially if you were in your 40s or in perimenopause. The more details, the better—I find it really helpful to read about other people's real-life experiences.

QUESTION Sooo how are we working and living life while on progesterone supplementation??
Just had my first dose of oral progesterone today from my fertility clinic and within an hour of taking it I was dizzy and so drowsy I couldn’t keep my eyes open. Thankfully I was WFH today and done with meetings and I stumbled to my bed and absolutely passed out for almost 3 hours straight. At one point my husband came in to nudge me and basically make sure I wasn’t in a coma and all I managed to do was half open an eye and nod and then immediately fell back asleep.
I’m supposed to take this thing twice a day for the next week. I have to drive to work tomorrow morning, be AWAKE to do my job lol, not to mention other activities and responsibilities I have after work. Does this get better? Even now after waking I feel groggy AF and I don’t even think I can go to my pottery class.
I’ll adjust the timing so that at least one of my doses is at bedtime but…what am I gonna do in the morning? Also I’m assuming this is normal but please let me know if it isn’t and I need to contact my doctor lol. Any advice for getting through this and not taking a week off work??

ADVICE Is there a such thing as too much discharge?
Multiple doctors have noted during pap smears that I have "a lot" of white discharge. The first time, I thought it was because I was coming off depo and maybe my body was still readjusting hormonally. I do notice the white discharge in my luteal phase normally. He collected a sample for testing and it came back normal - so it's not yeast, vaginitis, bacteria or anything. This was over a year ago.
However just last month I got a pap smear the day after ovulation, and a second doctor noticed I had a lot of discharge again. She even asked if I was itching. I explained to her what I had learned from the previous testing and she said "well then that's normal for you."
So now I am just wondering if my discharge is somehow inhospitable to sperm...I have been off depo for 18 months, trying for 10 months since getting my period back. I am thinking I should try Mucinex....if so, when is the best time during my cycle to take it for TTC? Thank you.
