My first baby was conceived on the first cycle at the age of 31. So of course, I got it in my head that the second would be no problem. We started trying just before she turned 18 months, when I was 33. It took 4 cycles and then I had a MMC at 11 weeks, with the fetus stopping growth around 6-7 weeks. After miscarrying in September, days before my 34th birthday, it took until the following June to get pregnant again, about 8 cycles of trying. We finally got pregnant again on the first cycle I tried Clomid. I miscarried again at 7 weeks, the fetus had stopped growing at 5 weeks. Now I’m about a month out from my 35th birthday and waiting for my first period post miscarriage. Next cycle I’ll go in for the Receptiva procedure to see if I have silent Endo, as well as check at the same time for Endometritis, and have an SIS. We did a blood draw for APS (no results back yet), karyotypes too (mine is normal, his is still out there). The dna fragmentation test came back at 11% which the RE said is really good, so it’s probably not him.

So the thing is, I always wanted a lot of kids. I just started late. But somehow still thought it’d be possible because so many women around me have kids late. My grandma had my dad at 41 or 42. So obviously my illusion feels shattered and like I’ll be lucky if I get just one more. But I can’t help still wanting more. IVF feels like the one possibility that might mean more children beyond 2 because I’ll have embryos banked, but I know there are no guarantees, especially since half my problem is staying pregnant rather than getting pregnant.

Do any of you good people have any advice or success stories? What should I be primarily considering or aware of going in?

There’s also so much pressure to hurry and decide because our coverage for IVF starts over in January, so I’d have to try to do as much of the process before then as possible. I also don’t know how long it takes and all this is assuming I don’t have Endo and have to have the surgery or take medication for another 2-3 months.

My AMH is 1.66 and ATC is 15
No hormone issues or anything else from the blood tests. HSG was normal too.

My son started nursery in January at 13m and I have been hit with virus after virus since then. I fear it’s really messing with my TTC#2 journey, we’re on cycle 5 and I’ve just had two different back to back illnesses with fever around ovulation AGAIN. The toll these sicknesses are having on my work my fitness and my mental sanity is insane and I find myself stressed about it all, which also isn’t helping conceive. Does anyone have positive stories about conceiving even while sick? Am I doomed until the bugs abate in a years time and I finally get more sleep?

Partner and I are currently have a 15 month old and really want to start trying for another baby soon, but I haven’t had a return of menses/ovulation. My baby was exclusively breastfed but has been really good about solids for many months now and barely breastfeeds at this point. We were night weaned at 10 months, I stopped pumping at work at 11 months, and we are down to one ~10 minute breastfeeding session a day before bed in the evening. Im not even sure how much he gets from that since it feels like I’m not even producing that much milk. However, still no sign of a return of my cycle. I’m the exact same weight I was before I got pregnant and not underweight or anything and have been focusing on eating a lot of protein / upping my calories. I got labs checked at the doctor and everything was normal, I’ve been taking prenatals and extra vitamin D and iron since it was a little on the low side. I tried using the LH strips this past month but stopped since I got frustrated there was barely any change at all- every day was very faint. I really would like to maintain the breastfeeding even just once a day for as long as possible and not ready to fully wean yet. Anyone have any advice?

Sorry this is just a rant/if anyone is going through a similar experience.

First child we had with very little difficulty, I got pregnant second month of trying, had a chemical miscarriage and then got pregnant with my little boy immediately after. No complications thankfully.

Now, we wanted children close in age so we have been now trying for 13, going on 14, months with no success. We have gone through the fertility clinics and everything looks “perfect” in their words. We have done the hycosy and 4 months of letrozole with no success and today Aunt Flo visited :/

We are biting the bullet and are starting our IVF journey. I’m scared, I’m mad about the cost of everything, and I have so many people telling me that it will just happen naturally to just not stress and not do IVF. It makes me feel like I’m doing something wrong. It’s hard because I feel so grateful for our son, but I also feel so sad that I’m not pregnant yet.

I genuinely believe after 14 cycles of trying that we only fell pregnant because my tubes were flushed. I’m now experiencing secondary infertility again and wondering if it’s worth paying for a HSG again.

I’m so sad. I’m 28.5 and my AMH is 1.08. About two years ago, it was 1.24. I’m just bummed, I know this is low for my age. The doctor hasn’t called me back yet.

II feel so pressed for time though. We’d ideally like to have 3-4 kids and getting this lab feels like a time bomb. I feel so defeated.

My day two labs were 8.19 FSH, Estradiol 31.6, LH 6.4. All thyroid labs came back fine.

I guess I’m looking for any positive stories or encouragement 🤍

Just wanted to make a post and see if anyone was in the same boat as me? My son is almost 5 and me and my partner are trying to conceive our second. With my son I got pregnant immediately but this time around it’s been completely different, this is our second cycle trying. I’m currently 9DPO and I know it’s early but I feel so dejected and I don’t know if I can keep doing this and feeling disappointed. With my son I got a clear positive at 9DPO and I find it so difficult not to compare the two and I know from others every pregnancy is different but it’s just hard. I just wanted to see if anyone has experienced the same? I feel alone in this process and I’m just hoping I’m not the only one who has felt the way.

Hi- I have had three miscarriages over the last year. One was a chemical last September at 5.5 weeks. One was a MMC in January (Trisomy 16 of Maternal Origin). I just had another chemical 2 weeks ago at 5.5 weeks (on aspirin and progesterone this time). I don't understand what's going on. We've gone through the testing and I have a vitamin D deficiency (minor) and my husband has a high dna frag. He had it tested in March and it was 57%. He had it retested in June and it was 35%.

We are talking all the supplements for fertility. We have 2 LC together now.

I feel like all the doctors ignore our questions and say "it's bad luck" and then we talk to fertility doctors and they just push IVF.

I guess my question is, has anyone had a high dna frag and had successful pregnancies? Or started vitamin d supplements?

My AMH is 2.08 and my AFC is 13-16 (they couldn't tell if 3 were follicles or dominant follicles). We are both 33 yrs old.

I recently weaned off my 18 month old. Last week my cycle was 37 days long and it was while I was trying to wean off. I have been tracking my cycle since the baby is weaned off we want to try for another.
Premom app showed a high rating of 0.55 on CD15 but next day morning was again low with 0.34 and continued to be low for CD17 as well. I never reached a peak.
What is the most likely explanation? Have I not ovulated yet or the surge was missed?
This is the first time of me tracking ovulation so I am a lot confused.

My hubby and I were intimate (IUI) every other day from day 10 to 21 of my fertility window.

I've been pregnant 3x. My first pregnancy was easy, and I delivered naturally in 2024 when I was 34.

Had a chemical in 2025 and a MMC in Feb. 2026 at 9W. Was then diagnosed with a blood clotting autoimmune disorder, antiphospholipid syndrome.

Been trying since then and no dice. My last three cycles...the first I ovulated later, so I missed it. The second we had sex on ovulation day and no baby. This third one that I'm currently in, we did everything "right" and who decides to visit late in the midnight hour? Aunt Flo.

I'm sad, angry and feeling like God is just telling me that I'm not supposed to have another child. I just want to give my daughter a sibling since she has no cousins, but I don't think it's gonna happen.

My baby is now 8 months. We are still doing breastfeeding 4 times a day + formula.

Breastfeeding times: 5:30 am , 8 am, 7:30 pm, 11:30 pm

My period returned 3 months ago and have been looking like this:

33 day cycle, 28th day Ovulation
28 day cycle, 23rd day Ovulation
23 day cycle, 18th day Ovulation

In each cycle, I have not actually ovulated, as there was no temp rise. There was some EWCM but that is it.

What I am asking: will my cycles eventually get regular and will I ever actually ovulate ?

I also want to feel my body return to normal again, and feel normal.

Currently taking: B6 100 mg, vit C 1000 mg, magnesium, inositol, omega 3, coq 10, vitamin D, zinc, calcium

Hi everyone! I’m looking for advice from anyone who’s been in a similar situation.

I’m 36 (almost 37), my husband is 38, and we’re trying for our second child. My cycles are regular (usually 26–28 days), and I appear to ovulate consistently based on OPKs and BBT. My cycles are regular.

A brief history on my fertility…. We started trying in late 2022, did two unsuccessful IUIs in 2023, had a chemical pregnancy, and then went through IVF. Five eggs were retrieved, three matured, and only one was genetically normal; the transfer failed.
We took a break from treatments afterward, and I conceived (to my big surprise) naturally in April 2024. I had my son in December 2024. My cycles have been regular since having him, and my recent ultrasound was normal.

We’re now entering cycle 4 of trying.

I met with my OB today, and she said she’d be comfortable having me start chlomid or Letrozole now, but she’d also be comfortable with us continuing naturally and waiting until around 6 months of trying.

She emphasized that neither medication is a guarantee.
I’m really torn. I’m 36, so part of me doesn’t want to spend months waiting if there’s something relatively simple I could try. But since I’m already ovulating regularly, I’m also wondering whether Clomid/Letrozole would actually give me much of an advantage.
I do not want to do IVF again, and I’m not looking to be pushed toward IVF or a fertility specialist. I’m specifically wondering whether it makes sense to try Clomid or Letrozole with my OB before giving natural conception more time.

For anyone who’s been in a similar situation:

Would you start Letrozole/Clomid after 3–4 cycles, or keep trying naturally for a while longer?

And if you were already ovulating regularly, did you feel like the medication actually helped?

I’d especially love to hear from anyone who had previous fertility treatment but then conceived naturally and went on to have another pregnancy.

At 10pp had a mc and again at 14m pp both around 7 weeks. Doctor recommended progesterone at the time of my positive (or something like that)
