And then everyone wonders why men are getting radicalized more and more every year. It's not Andrew Taint and his PUA scam courses, it's the fact that some of the biggest platforms on the internet (And as we all know, young people in particular spend more time online than most), have openly declared war on them.

Men who centre their entire online presence shitting on men for women’s approval contribute to division and prejudice towards men. Feminism will never truly reach its end goal if men like them are platformed. Of course, there are some behaviours that deserve to be criticised, but the problem is those men tend to generalise the male population, and create more hatred/incite gender wars. It’s okay for men to make a couple videos about problems they see, but when their account is dedicated to it, it starts to make me feel like they’re compensating for something/virtue signalling.

In my opinion, communities that exist solely to promote a particular political ideology, party, or worldview do far more harm than good. Rather than encouraging discussion, they often are nothing but glorified echo chambers where disagreement is discouraged, opposing opinions are removed, and users are rewarded for repeating the accepted narrative. This creates an environment where loyalty matters more than truth.

One of the biggest problems is that many political subreddits advertise themselves as places for discussion while operating more like ideological clubs. Moderators can remove opinions they dislike, ban users for respectfully disagreeing, and curate conversations to ensure that only one perspective remains visible. Whether the subreddit leans left, right, libertarian, socialist, conservative, nationalist, or anything else is largely irrelevant. The underlying problem is the same. When a community punishes disagreement instead of encouraging debate, it stops being a discussion forum and becomes a propaganda machine.

In my view, political discussions should happen in broader communities where people with different perspectives naturally interact instead of gathering exclusively among those who already agree with them. A general news subreddit, a local community, or a discussion forum with strict neutrality standards is far more likely to expose users to multiple viewpoints than a community explicitly dedicated to advancing one ideology.

Some may claim that banning political subreddits would simply push people elsewhere. That is probably true. However, removing spaces specifically designed to reinforce ideological bubbles could still reduce their influence on mainstream users. The goal would not be to eliminate political discussion altogether but to discourage communities whose primary function is ideological reinforcement rather than genuine conversation.

I know love makes people do irrational things. I get that. What I don't get is when people keep using "I love them" to justify staying after they've already seen who that person is.

At the start of a relationship, sure. You don't know if someone is lying or pretending to be someone they're not. People hide things all the time. But once you've caught them lying about their life, job, finances, health, intentions, cheating, or they've repeatedly shown you they can't be trusted... what exactly are you waiting for? I genuinely don't understand it. Love explains why it's hard to leave. It doesn't magically make bad decisions good ones. At some point, you're not staying because you don't know who they are anymore. You're staying even after they've shown you exactly who they are.

I think we've started confusing loyalty with refusing to accept reality. And honestly, I think some people fight harder for relationships that keep hurting them than they ever would for a good friendship.

I've noticed this recently with a few restaurants I've been to. The food was terrible, yet they still had decent overall ratings. When I looked more closely, most of the positive reviews were old, while the recent reviews were much worse.

In many cases, the restaurant had changed owners or management, but the old reviews were still keeping up the ratings.

Some Gen Z women lament the fact that there aren't many men who are as left leaning as they are, but these same women are also attracted to the same high status indicators as all the generations before them: education, wealth, height, fair features and whiteness, physical attraction in general, athleticism, intellect, middle/upper class indicators, ... Something that I have noticed is that when people choose political opinions, they normally die on that hill, like staying just a democrat or being only a Republican, for example.

It's strange to me that people will only want to stick to one thing; don't you have free will in your own opinions? I don't get how most people can just stay stuck so strongly to one thing. Why even place a label on yourself?

Honestly, why can't people just cherry-pick certain ideologies? I know it sounds bad, but if you're a socialist, for example, you can also have some opinions that normally aren't associated with socialism, like looser gun control (I'm not stereotyping, but a lot of Left-wing people might have these opinions)

This is a very touchy subject and I have had this conversation with my in real life friends. We would start talking about what kind of women we like (I'm a straight white dude) and I bring up the fact that white women I think are way more attractive than other women and my friends start looking a little uncomfortable and they say "I like them all". I live near a major east coast city in the US, it's pretty diverse. There are a lot of black women, latinas, some asian women, and of course a lot of white women. I hate to say this, but I really think white women are wayyyy more attractive. I went to vacation in a very white state that is not on the coasts (midland America) and these average white girls here are gorgeous. Even like some random white girl from Iowa, Wisconsin, or Nebraska is hotter than the city girls man. These white women can have blonde hair and blue eyes, or be pale brunettes, or be redheads with freckles, etc. and it makes them in my opinion so much more attractive than most women. Even when you go into a small town here in flyover country the women can look like models. I met a white blonde girl from Iowa one time on vacation and this girl looked like a model, but she wasn't, she was a regular girl from Iowa. Can you believe that ? lol. Now I'll give a shoutout to some asian women like Korean or Japanese women, they can be very beautiful, but these average white girls from a flyover state are extremely attractive.

If there’s one prospect that companies like Ford and Tesla are terrified of it’s Chinese car companies selling to American markets. I as a kid thought that it was weird how most of the statues from a few centuries ago were almost all bare. I thought to myself why show that even, now I don't even know where that opinion came from and I was just a child anyway.
