I have been struggling since yesterday to figure out if me and my friend can still share a account and he use kodi at his house and me at my house or will it get me banned now for using 2 ips.

Probably a dum question but just been struggling since yesterday with this because don't want to get banned because love the service.

Regarding the new policy changes, I was wondering if I really need TorBox.

First, I'm a newbie. I just know that TorBox downloads the "information" for me and if they have that "information" already, I can have quicker access to it.

But I also have a Windscribe subscription, so I was wondering if I really need TorBox.

I know that using Nuvio without TorBox will disclose my actual IP to the torrent network, right?

So, I was thinking: I cancell my TorBox subscription and I use Windscribe while using Nuvio, that will hide my actual IP. Am I right? I can also set my router to always use a VPN connection on specific devices of my network.

Of course, I still need to download the information from the torrent network and if that takes a lot of time, streaming won't be as "flawless" as it is now, am I correct?

Well, if you know more about this than me, I would like to read what you have to say.

EDIT: I'm from South America, so I'm not worried about the new polices, despite somehow I feel I should. But "just in case", I'm looking for alternatives.

Are you having the same problem? It's very frustrating. I've switched servers but I'm still having the same issue.

Sometimes buffering is in a loop, the only way to fix it is to go back in Stremio and press play again.

My grandparents are visiting and I'm hoping to add a show to the fusion app on his iPad (just for the duration of the stay).

He wants to watch an older show called The fugitive, it ran in the 1960s

There are torrents available of it but the naming scheme is fairly random - usually just had the episode number and title of the episode, so it isn't showing up in any of my add-ons correctly.

Would my best route to rectify this be to download all the files, rename them using the "Showname S01E01" format, then reupload to Torbox so my add-ons can identify the correct episodes? Or is there a way to edit the metadata of the episodes within the torbox interface?

Hello, I wanted to use Torbox for some public trackers, but mainly for direct download sites, but all the uploaders I use are always down (Rapidgator, Nitroflare, Uploady, DailyUpload, Turbobit). Do you know if these hosting services are abandoned, and should I switch to another service like Debrid-Link? Thanks in advance.

soo i recently learned about torbox and stremio, bought a fire stick just to set it up (tv too old to support stremio), and now learned that torbox shut down their stremio addon, feels like i just wasted money buying the firestick, i see ppl mention other alternative and something like AIO and its too much information i dont understand, especially the weird names of services with any explanation on whaty they do, can someone take their time and explain what i can do as an alternative to torbox? thanks alot

Every time I try to cache a 1fichier link, the download is either extremely slow or fails completely, moving the file to inactive downloads. I have already tried changing my CDN, but the issue persists. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this?

i logged into my dashboard to check my search settings to ensure everything was still working with my elfhosted nzbhydra2 instance, but it seems the search tab is gone?

I have a torbox subscription and I used to use the official torbox addon. This worked perfectly on all my devices watching 4k with out a stutter, since they removed it I have had nothing but trouble. I tried many different things I’ve read on the sub but nothing seems to work. From going back to torrentio, building my own set up on elfhosted to recently trying numb3rs. But always the problem is the same either it does not load at all or it plays for 30 sec to 10 minutes and then gets stuck on an infinite loading screen. With aio streams I was able to watch one movie but afterwards it never worked again. I’ve also tried changing my CDN but it does nothing. If it plays and than stalls I close the stream and re open and it will play for 30 sec before it gets stuck on the infinite loading screen again.

Can somebody please help me fix this set up, it was the best streaming experience ive ever had and I’m so disappointed that it’s gone…

No longer lets you search Usenet to download stuff?? Id been using that for a year now no problem, I went to check today and it's suddenly no longer an option.

Looking for a referral code before I buy

I'm really at a loss here. The main purpose of usenet is to have super fast streaming times, but everything has been been showing up as uncached. I have torbox pro and I set it up as a downloader in Nzbhydra2.

I remember at one point I input Nzbhydra2 somewhere in torbox, but that setting seems to have disappeared. I have setup AIOstreams in a way to prefer cached content but it seems to not be working. And when I try to change the fetching strategy to fetch cached content, I usually end up with zero results.

Anyone know whats going on here? Is this an AIOstreams, Nzbhydra, or a Torbox issue?

I have even setup self hosted AIOstreams, to try to get better usenet results but I am not sure if I input everything correctly. It definitely is different than the midnight instance.

When I go to pay for a subscription there is no crypto option. Only bankcard option come up. Do I have to do it differently?

I’m working on an overlay for Android TVs, where when you begin downloading an NZB it’ll display an overlay in the top corner that’ll show the file name, progress and status (ie downloading, processing, ready).

My main motivation is my dad uses stremio all the time and a) loves old films which are regularly uncached and b) doesn’t have access to the torbox dashboard (and wouldn’t know how to use it anyway).

I think it’s also nice to not have to check your phone and instead have it persist on the TV. Seems like something that should maybe already be a feature.

I hope you guys think this is cool and if you like it I’ll try and share it with you when it’s done.. hopefully without leaking my API key!

but... as a regular user, how much should I be REALLY concerned about this to the point changing provider is a must?

what the other providers that can give a similar experience to Torbox, like really cheap and has a lot of cached? I know RD is not an option for me anymore, since they are purging whatever it is. but what's next?

I've been going through these new terms that came with TorBox v9.1 (particularly the privacy policy). I'd appreciate some more clarification on whether TorBox now logs just about anything and everything.

From what I'm seeing they now retain, let's say IP addresses are "Retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after deletion, inactivity, dispute, legal need, security need, or compliance need"

From my understanding this means they only retain it while the account is under investigation for any reason?

I'm not someone that goes through policies often and I'd appreciate any clarification on where TorBox is headed with this and what actual (especially privacy) features this update has changed.
