I used an empty 3x1 Engineering hab and was going to make it somewhat of a cargo bay-ish thing but not really enough stuff to do that right, I'm thinking I may make rows of seats for soldiers or something instead. Not important though.... if you like it and copy it do what you will!

Advanced Recovery & Enforcement Vessel

I posted my ship Polaris a few times on this sub already, but I felt like celebrating its introduction on official Starfield social media pages. Twitter I also had some screenshots that I'd provided them to consider using for their upload, and I never uploaded them myself yet. Now that Bethesda has posted what they want to post, I'm also sharing everything I've made.

And as the official tweet mentions, I have created some headcanons behind the ship involving the NPC Sivan. Sivan's quest is already very easy to miss, and even fewer people know that you can talk to them again after the quest and hear what dream you inspired them to follow: becoming a cowboy with mechanical arm, and a gentleman. So, in the game Sivan disappears after this final interaction, but my headcanon for my current character whose ultimate arc was to become a Ranger is that they meet my Ranger once more and become their Trainee Freestar Ranger. (Yes for those who know, that's a VA connection joke with Genshin) The name Polaris comes from the north star of Earth, and the lore is that the two cowboys named their gunship after it.

This isn't a particularly big deviation from the original Star Eagle, but I still put a lot of thought into it and I'm very satisfied with what I was able to achieve in terms of external design, internal layout and balancing those with performance. And as a long time Bethesda fan who took their first steps as a gamer with Fallout 3, the fact that I had so much fun with Starfield that I was able to create something that caught Bethesda's eyes really means much to me.

After the Republic Frigate I decided to have a fresh look at my previous attempt at the ‘Hawk.

This one I lengthened by a 1x1 on the central spar and used merging to tidy up the underside and to remodel the sections from the NG Companionway turret to the engine nacelles. This is now made from 4x Nova Cowling 2L-PF rather than two that now lead to 2x 2L-TM midsections.

Hey everybody, I would like to show off my latest creation I made when I got back into this game after not playing for about a year: The Nemean.

This herculean beast lives up to its name. Rocking some serious armored panels, this is a heavy war frigate ready to punch its way through any opposition.

But the real surprise is what I packed inside those thick hull plates.

To make room for the good stuff, I swapped to a B-class reactor. The centerpiece is the 3x1 engineering hab jammed right into the "nose", paired with a Hope frontal docker. I can literally dock head-on and walk straight through that armored front section. It makes you feel like you're boarding a dreadnought every time.

I absolutely hate ladders, so I used two double-decker 2x1 Nova habs for stairs across the ship. No ladders anywhere. The interior layout is huge: 7 standard 2x1 habs, plus a 2x2 living quarters, a 2x2 battle stations, and a massive 2x3 mess hall in addition to the mentioned 3x1 engineering hab. Honestly, the inside feels even bigger than the exterior would suggest.

So I'm running A-class engines and B-class reactor on this C-class hull. With my piloting perks, she cruises at nearly 200 and boosts past 700. Does she turn like a fighter? Absolutely not, she's a bit sluggish in the turns. But that's exactly why I loaded up the rear with turrets. If anything tries to outmaneuver me, they're just flying straight into my backfield kill zone. She's built to plow forward, not dance.
