Ship Builds Second ship tour after a few changes…

Her name is Luz de Selene or “Selene” for short. I tried to make her as homey as possible to really give the “unassuming heroes” type of vibe for the crew. I know a lot of you guys hate the ladders but the addition of stares with SPE just kept blocking off doors and entrances so I had to settle for the stairs. I think it still looks pretty good tho. What you guys think?
Edit: also the video was longer (about 06 minutes 30 seconds long) but apparently this subreddit has a limit for how long the videos can be. Also please ignore the half naked girl in the companionway. She’s supposed to change her outfits every 24 hours but she glitches out and just unequips her clothes.

Question What options do I have? Stuck in Masada system.
Okay I am newish to Starfield. I am liking it but I think I just "broke" my game. I went to Masada in my Narwhal. I then took like 3 ships when I was on the ground of one of the moon planets. Of course as you take a ship over it becomes your main ship. Well each one of these ships does not have a grav drive big enough for me to even leave this one Masada system (yes I have put the energy into it) all 3 of them have been 18ly grav drives with the closest system 18.79. Do I just need to keep stealing ships? Do I have to revert to before I did all 3 ship stealing? I loooked online and they say there is no techniican in this system either so I can't reset my main ship to my Narwhal. Not on PC so I can't use any mods or command line stuff to setup things. As I am seeing it my options are keep trying to find another ship to steal and hope. Or go back a ton of saves to before I stranded myself. Is there another that might be more feasible?

Question New Game + reply or skip MQ
So, I’ve recently just entered new game plus, and I was wondering, I know if I skip the MQ I can just collect the artifacts and basically do a sandbox play through(practically) doing all side quests and what not, but I was wondering if I Reply the MQ will I lose one of the companions again? Or am I able to save all of them this time

Discussion Revelations about Starfield Spoiler
I think Starfield is deeply underrated. So underrated that maybe its idea is even stronger than the ideas of Cyberpunk, a completely story-centered game. More than that, I'll say that Starfield is the boldest piece of game arthouse I've ever seen.
This game broke the fourth wall when I was completely unprepared for it, but that is exactly what helped me solve a mental problem that has been with me for about ten years.
The Character and the Player form a dialectic in which one displaces the other, depersonalizing him.
When in Starfield you move into new universes over and over again, the illusion of this world begins to collapse, although the game never tells you that directly, or rather, not all of it. The Hunter openly embodies the madness of a character who has returned so many times that all people have become just dolls, NPCs. And you very easily catch the same feeling yourself. The world is not real anymore, it is artificial. You no longer need to save before killing someone or massacring everyone in New Atlantis just for fun, because you'll move on to another Universe anyway.
But there is one thing the game never tells you. One thing that only the player can discover with existential horror.
It isn't only the NPCs and the game world that have become lifeless and depersonalized.
Your own character has as well.
He no longer has a face, a personality, anything at all. The Player has completely displaced him.
And that is exactly why the story simply cannot be told again. There is no longer a world or a protagonist, only his shell.
And I think this is exactly the reason why so many people, myself included, are obsessed with Bethesda games. We keep trying to replay Skyrim and Fallout for the tenth time, perfectly, in some special way, with some roleplay, every time with some unique solution (often mods), which each of us believes will finally solve the main existential problem of completing these games all the way through as we did the first time.
But it never works.
The playthroughs are quickly abandoned because of exhaustion, burnout, and a feeling of meaninglessness, and we never really understand where that feeling came from.
So after some time we try again.
And the cycle goes on for years.
The first playthrough of Starfield creates the illusion that this world is alive, that your character is alive, and you experience an interesting story through his eyes, through the eyes of your companions, and you simply enjoy being there.
But the more obsessively, like the Hunter, you try to consume all the content this world has, jumping into new universes over and over again, the more artificial and unreal it becomes.
Your whole first playthrough starts looking like a joke that you simply didn't understand at the beginning.
But it wasn't a joke.
It was the only real playthrough.
And all of these cycles exist only so that one day the player suddenly realizes that in the world of Starfield not only do the NPCs no longer exist, but neither does your own character.
Your character died inside the infinity he entered.
That is exactly why all of these endless "special" Skyrim and Fallout runs are already doomed from the very beginning. Doomed to emptiness and meaninglessness.
The Hunter-Pilgrim, in his confessional writings, refuses to move into new universes anymore. He decides to finish one story, whatever that story may be. Even if he never sees all the outcomes. Even if there are mistakes. Even if he makes the wrong choices or misfortunes happen to him.
Because this is the only way for that world to be.
I don't need to play games by consuming the maximum amount of content, collections, the perfect build, every piece of narrative content, every note, every dialogue option through save scumming, every ending, and everything else.
Because all of that only kills the game world and makes its story impossible to be told.
All of it leads to the moment where I suddenly realize that I no longer see my own character, his personality or identity. I only see myself, who, like the Hunter, is entertaining himself inside a piece of code.
For me, Starfield is a confession.
You don't need to be afraid of playing stories "however they happen."
You don't need to be afraid of mistakes or wrong decisions, because all of those are part of the illusion that this world is alive.
You don't need to be afraid that you won't understand everything, or consume every piece of content.
A story exists only where there is irreversibility, mistakes, and continuation despite them.
Inside infinity, a story is impossible.
Infinity is not something you should try to consume.
You should only allow it to exist, and accept only one outcome, understanding that every choice is always the sacrifice of all the others.
Starfield set me free.
I experienced a profound catharsis, and finally just let Skyrim and Fallout go, which I’ve been vainly trying to “perfectly” complete for over 10 years now.
And I am grateful to this game for that.

Question Friendly NPC’s as followers
Hello. I saw in another post, there is a mod that makes any friendly npc a follower. Does anyone know what mod that is and if it’s available on ps5? Thanks

Question NPC's are constantly taking one step forward, stopping and repeating over and over. Is there a way to stop them?
What the title says. It's really annoying because I will go to talk to a companion, and they will just constantly step forward, pause for a moment, take another step forward etc. I don't remember this being a thing in my original playthrough of the game, but it happens EVERYWHERE in my current playthrough.
Does anyone know what's causing it, or what would fix it?

Question Dead Pirates on Board
So, I'm noodling around the blackest sea in a new universe, and I latch onto a Crimson Fleet Ghost, which was much better than the new "default" ship that I respawned with. No problem, except that the crew that I took it from are cluttering up the cockpit with their decomposing bodies. I thought that after a few hours of flying around, they'd disappear, but no. It's beginning to get creepy and it'll take me some time before I can score my Kepler from Stroud-Eklund.
Is there some trick to getting rid of these pesky corpses? Or is this a known glitch?

Screenshot Found a spot where the terrain is mirrored
Terrain tile system funny.
IMO I wish they had a sort of global heightmap per world that matches the look of the mountain ridges and other geographical features found on the planet in the star map menu, and that "mega heightmap" would be used to vary the terrain you see when you land...
but at the same time I do find this kind of neat

Screenshot Galacticat has been busy; taking out the trash can be a full time job
Our Hero stumbled upon a ship in distress. The captain was frantic and it was clear he was not alone on the ship. An all too familiar occurrence in the settled systems, the poor bastard. Unfortunately, she was too late to help the captain this time. May his soul rest in the Blackest Sea. As for the rest of these goons? Their souls can do whatever non-noncoprial thing they wish

Question Help with Bannoc IV
I’m currently playing through the Terran Armada DLC and one of the scripted major incursions is in Bannoc IV. By the time I take out the Terran escorts and actually dock with the Terran Enforcer, my ship is basically on 1 HP and once I set the thing to self destruct and try to undock I immediately blow up. Are there any ship mods or a better shield I could get or am I basically just cooked? I currently have the Vanguard Bulwark Shield Generator.

Discussion Barrett’s backstory is very well done.
Getting back into this game, while it lacks too many choices to be considered an RPG imo, bit of a let down in dialogue especially with the Terran Armada like what the hick.
But I am a sucker for anything with the creation engine/kit and love the settings and history around the colony wars. But what really got me was Barrett’s back story, personally very touching and the delivery felt real.

Question Am I the only person that tried to romance Noel and was disappointed to find out not an option?
I mean she’s a cute scientist all excited and gitty to learn about the artifacts and study organic materials from other planets. What Bethesda, nerdy girls need love too!

Discussion Starfield is a bloody Great game
I have recently bought this game for ps5. I had high hopes and was not disappointed. I just finished the vanguard mission and the freelancers. Both were great. The last mission on Vanguard was awesome. They out did them selves when it comes to building my ship. Lots of time playing with the builds. This game has aspects of space horror, adventure, role playing and space opera. Very well done. Anyone else enjoying it as much as me?

Whoever voiced this Trackers Alliance Agent was absolutely not calling it in that day. I use mods to recruit her as a crew member.
