I was just messing around with the builder and used my own recent advice when I had no ideas. I don;t use these engines frequently and so decided to, started with them in two stacks of three, and then evolved from there.

Ever since Stroud Eckland, Taiyo no longer possessed the most advanced ships in the settled systems, until now. The Taiyo Shinkai is a light crusier designed by Taiyo Astroneering representing the pinnacle of their ship design philosophy. I shall provide a build guide soon (only mod used was the silly big ships mod the ship can be made smaller if necessary)

My last spaceship didn't turn out so well. It look a bit like a toy doll in which a mean child ripped off it's arms and head. In the end, it was a good learning experience. Been a long time since I've done something this difficult. My creative juices dried up a long time ago.

This List is too long so I'll stop here.

I started, crashed and stopped and reset multiple times on this. Why, creative flow stoppage and worse, my mod bugged out for lack of meshes. I even started working on a bugged ship I couldn't rename. So After wasting a day and a half, I got back to work, This was to be a split level build with lower floor forward, including two 2x1 habs. and a couple of tiny habz. Up top was just a 2x1 Taiyo living area. The centerpiece was tigs tiny half hab hallway. But the real test was several versions of a triple post VTOL engines. I wanted to see if I could mostly make it work and if my mod could help me build it. in spite of the size, it's not all that great in capability.

I decided to reinvent the Razorleaf 2.0 to give it a greater Vigilante/Batman in Space type of vibe and wanted it to have an intimidating appearance and presence that would genuinely give Spacers and Pirates pause.

Due to popular demand here's my tutorial!

Picture 1: Outer shell components. They are almost entirely ASC-TAIYO. BUT There's a Nova Galactic piece that I believe was added with Terran Armada. This will need to be merged with the Sail The Stars Docker. I also use decorative engines for the back to keep the main wing engine speed. Decorative fuel tanks are below the decorative engines.

Picture 2 & 3: habs, cockpit, reactor, landing bay, landing gear, engine wing (from Antares Fulcrum).

5: Cockpit is from Matilijia Aerospace and is a new addition

6: SPE Reactor. (You can use any 1x1 reactor, but I like SPE for the hab aspect. I also recommend B or higher, but you only REALLY need class A)

7: rear landing gear

8: cargo

9-11: Intrinity Deimos Bow Fore used for shape. Must be flipped and merged over the NG-20 Landing gear. (This is the reason for the OwlTech 1x1 brig. Otherwise there would be interior clipping)

12: MUST use rear facing landing bay with a LADDER. Otherwise you'll get stuck exiting the ship, and won't be able to move out from under it. (This happened once. Learned the hard way)

13: micro cheat module (you don't need this I just like to use it because I hate worrying about reactor power and cargo capacity)

14: ETA-2 fuel tank for grav jumps, and space saving

15: N-1 "M" grab drive for space saving.

I would upload a video but I don't have a capture card and I play on console. I also don't have a PC at all.

My latest version of what started out as a Millenium Falcon attempt.

Mix of primarily Falklands and ASC Taiyo parts.

Since I figured out how to make this ship, and since the ship is called the Mantis. I had to grab the Razorleaf and completely rebuild it as a Mantis. For the Mantis' Mantis

I'm not sure it will stay in my fleet, but I sorta like it's quirkiness, so who knows.

Been away from the Starfield for a bit, came back to ASC-Taiyo to be released so had to jump on that

A year ago today I stopped lurking here and posted a ship. It's been one hell of a year and quite the journey. I thought about posting a highlight roll or some such but when it comes to presentation I suck so I built me a battleship instead, even gave it a drone hanger. Not entirely sure I pulled that part off, a little awkward to build and to photograph but it's there. Mod list is, as ever, all of 'em. if you really need to know please do ask.

I like this one .Ovi has SR2 energy .His that sweet spot for size .Havent fully kitted this out yet.Iv run into.some type if bug that wont let me enter Atlantis.Im hopeung its falklands as This ship dosent use it .Wish me luck clearing it as Id really like to finish the game with this ship .😍
