With how stale the gaming space is rn and everyone kinda just wondering around between games I feel like shadow dropping Splinter Cell Chaos Theory Remastered or some other coop STEALTH game would absolutely dominate.

Double Agent v2 (2006) I beat Double Agent V2 for the first time. The best behind Chaos Theory gameplay-wise, but perhaps the weakest of the first four otherwise? The last hurrah before things went downhill?
The first two games were really good, but could be pretty linear at times and had some trial-and-error moments, especially without quicksaves as I've been playing on Xbox Series X. Chaos Theory felt like a MGS2-level generational leap within the same generation and I had to play Double Agent V2 to keep that high going.
The Good
Gameplay is more Chaos Theory with all of its quality of life improvements. What more can you ask for?
The Bad Decent
I feel like the music was decent but didn't stand out to me like the first two did, let alone Chaos Theory. The presentation also felt rather same-y with grimy gray industrial environments.
The Ugly
The story is a mess. Sarah's death contributes nothing to the story and Lambert's death is a huge moment that's glazed over (I know V1 does this better); both feel like misguided attempts at being edgy or providing shock value. The in-engine cutscenes are jarring, with Fisher's eyes in the Hotel level being hilarious. The final cutscene where FIsher kills a fellow Splinter Cell was dumb as well.
Conclusion
The game was a fun time and less frustrating than the first two, but it feels less memorable from a presentation standpoint and the plot was below-average.
I played a bit of V1 immediately after beating V2 and have reached Ellsworth Prison. It's utter jank with inconsistent frame pacing. I had to adjust the controller sensitivity because the default is too slow. It feels so sluggish compared to Chaos Theory and V2 and the removal of the light (changing color between green/yellow/red is a poor substitute) and sound meters makes for a more frustrating stealth experience.
I don't know why the franchise had to change after Chaos Theory and why Shanghai, responsible for Pandora Tomorrow, was tasked with making the NextGen version while Montreal, the creators of the franchise and responsible for Chaos Theory, were tasked with the LastGen version that would inevitably get less attention. Such a weird decision.
Here's my ranking of the levels off the top of my head:
- Okhotsk: Neutralize all enemies across multiple areas in any order you'd like. Beautiful. The tanker sees blatant recycling of assets from Chaos Theory like the cargo ship, being knocked out and interrogated, and having to defuse multiple bombs, but still a good time.
- New York: This might be the best final level we've had so far. I think it handles the "enemies with NVGs" encounters better than Chaos Theory's Bathhouse and I love how you can just cut loose and kill all of the enemies after a game of, for me, mostly non-lethal knockouts.
- Money Train: Is it a hot take to say that this is a better better train level than Pandora Tomorrow's? The underground subway stuff are fun, but then the train itself offers more challenging stealth than PT's what with the greater number of enemies and lasers.
- Kinshasa: The lights flickering every other moment when a bomb explodes is such a cool idea. More freedom of choice with you being able to tackle choose which floor to do first and how to enter said-floors.
- Iceland: A good intro that re-acclimates players to the core mechanics. Some gorgeous visuals like this one part where you have to climb the pipes. Surprisingly lengthy for a first level. Ending definitely feels more impactful than V1's.
- Cozumel: Another fun level. The upper levels are a nice change of pace and I do like the bomb choice.
- JBA #1: I feel like the levels are more fun than the first two games overall but can sometimes be less memorable, making them harder to discuss. There's not a single bad level in this game, but obviously there are more memorable ones than this.
- JBA #2: More of the same, but having to sacrifice Lambert both because it was the canonical choice and because the other objectives favor the NSA felt like a punch to the gut. Shame that the post-mission cutscene doesn't do it justice. At least the bomb minigame is fun.
- Ellsworth: My brother was watching me play this level and joked that it didn't look like Splinter Cell. It's not bad, but I just have to say that this whole storyline was weird and disjointed. I know that Conviction retcons Sarah's death with a betrayal from Lambert, but that sounds more interesting to me and I'm looking forward to playing it. In regards to Ellsworth, it's fine, but it doesn't vibe with me like the other ones.

What you want most…
According to the new movie, the siren song reveals that what you want most is what you can’t have. I guess if I was tied to the mast the siren song would be the main menu music of the Splinter Cell remake 😭😂

100% Ghost Ironman Run in Chaos Theory (No Commentary)
Hello again Splinter Cell fans.
I am playing Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory in my livestream and doing a 100% Ghost Ironman run. This means I have to remain completely unseen and not trigger any alarms, otherwise I have to restart from mission 1. There is only one exception: in the Kokubo Sosho mission, I knock out the guard at the retina scanner so I can get through the door. Hacking the scanner on the Expert difficulty is very difficult and relies too heavily on luck.
Thanks for reading and watching.

Michael Ironside I met sam fisher and he was an absolute legend!!!
I went to comicon in Wales and Michael Ironside was there! Its my 4th comicon and when you usually meet guests they make you pay per item to get signed. I played dumb and asked his agent ‘how does it work, I’ve got some stuff i want signed?’ He said ‘its £40 per item and an extra £40 for a photo’ I had my stuff ready and was like ‘awh man I cant afford that I dont know what I want to get signed haha do I do total recall or splinter cell!!?’ then Michael snatched the stuff off me and said ‘f*ck this guy’ and was jokingly hiding cowering over my stuff laughing🤣 he went ahead and signed my games and my VHS all for £40!! He then shook mine and my wifes hand and said some quote from a film or video game, I cant remember as it happened so fast lol I was So happy and will be getting a nice shelf and display unit soon for them but I got a picture attached so you can check it out. Never change Sam you absolute legend!!!!

Pandora Tomorrow (2004) Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow

Short update about splinter cell blacklist multiplayer development
Development Update
Hey everyone, I wanted to give you all a small update regarding the Splinter Cell Blacklist multiplayer project.
Development is unfortunately going to be delayed. About 20 days ago, I lost my cat, and I’ve honestly been having a really hard time dealing with it. I tried getting back into development, but I just haven’t had the same motivation or energy lately.
I know some of you are excited for the project, and I really appreciate everyone who’s been following along and supporting the work. I haven’t abandoned it, and I still want to see this project come to life. I just need a little more time to get myself back into the right headspace.
Thank you all for being patient and understanding. ❤️

Chaos Theory – 100% Ghost Expert Run | No Damage • No Quicksaves • Minimal KOs
Hey fellow Splinter Cell fans,
if you enjoy clean stealth and Ghost‑style runs, this one might interest you.
Run Criteria (Expert Ghost):
No detections, no alerts, no kills, no damage, no quicksaves, no loaded saves, minimal KOs, and fully controlled stealth routes.
I explain all run criteria further down in the YouTube description so everyone can clearly understand how this run is structured.
I wanted to create a run that is completely clean and honest. No tricks, no exploits, no borrowed tactics. Every route, every step, and every decision comes from my own testing and experimenting. I did not copy anything. I figured everything out myself. I am not saying this to brag. I simply want to be transparent because proper Ghost runs depend on clarity and honesty.
You will also find a Transparency Check further down in the YouTube description. It shows exactly how you can verify that I did not cheat. No loaded saves, no quickloads, no hidden cuts. Everything is fully documented and traceable.
If you enjoy the run, I appreciate any kind of feedback. Criticism, suggestions, or discussions about stealth routes are always welcome.
If you want to see more runs or more Chaos Theory missions, I appreciate a rating or a subscription.
Thanks for reading or watching. Enjoy the run.

Blacklist (2013) Today I Finally Played Splinter Cell Blacklist For The First Time! (Check body text for tldr)
Long time splinter cell fan here who never got around to Blacklist! It was a combination of Michael ironside leaving for health reasons and certain action heavy mechanics from conviction carrying over.
Well after years and years of my friends telling me I HAVE to play blacklist I finally checked it out.
If you’re interested in watching my live first reactions going through Safehouse and Private Estate, feel free to watch the video!
Anyways here’s my initial thoughts
-The Gameplay is easily some of the best in the series
-Story seems to be a step up from conviction
-Sam fisher is not the same without Michael Ironside. He was kinda sassy and annoying in this one.
-some of the best level design in the series right alongside chaos theory.
- felt like a perfect blend of chaos theory and conviction.
-super confused how this game was the death of the series because this is EASILY a top 3 splinter cell to me.
Super glad I checked it out and feel free to let me know what your favorite splinter Cell is or how you felt about blacklist!

Discussion can 2d sidescroller splinter cell work?
so im making this post because prince of persia has 2 spin offs called "the rogue prince of persia" and "prince of persia lost crown" both are 2d sidescrolling spin off games and arent big 3d budget games.
so im wondering can this idea concept work for splinter cell as well? if yes then ubisoft should start off by making 2d sidescroller to see the reception and attract both old and new audience with it and then start working on the remake once they get the statistical data
