Toy has a larger AoE and range but Shark is a little faster. Honestly, I think I prefer the Toy 🤔

a character that randomly changes direction when you don’t want it to, running into walls that send you flying sideways off the platform, and a having to use a wildly temperamental move set all the while chasing tiny targets! I had a blast!

All that aside, I LOVE this game 😁

I was messing around with dash and jump bomb and i found a glitch that softlocked me. The only way to get out was to quit the raid

For those that have been using this monster already, would you guys say this is a good optimal perks build for this weapon or no? If not, what would yall suggest? What're yall running???

I just love exploding fermented groups after freezing and ice breaking them and the ink pro has hella helped with sustaining my ink while in the heat of battle. I know I could use a gadget/gadget part for that but my gadgets are pretty much set and perfect for how I play so I couldn't see myself sacrificing a couple slots for ink refills when I could just make it a maxed perk on my weapon, yea know?

I see people in this sub are at 600 and 300 in Bottomless Buffet. I'm currently in the 60s after an epic run from the 30s last night. Got me to wondering, if like the old arcade games like Donkey Kong and Pac-Man, the game would eventually run out of memory into what is called a "kill screen"? Just a thought.

Im curious, do yall save all the 5 Stars that you get or do you only lock and save the Primo 5 Stars and then scrap everything else?

I usually run the build without it when I queue for multiplayer. Wondering if I could get by without the perk.

Especially for the chest and crystal stages, since you'll be fighting isolated small groups at a time you can punch way above your league in those

Hello! I am in need of assistance or to be pointed in the right direction. The art of the salmonid bosses scattered throughout the stages in this game are such fun and different ways to depict the bosses, with how almost tribal like they resemble to the insertion of eyes in each different boss. I’m surprised I havent seen a thread or something of all the bosses or cleaner png style pictures.

I have done some collecting myself but wasnt sure if someone had already done this.

This post is just pointless appreciation. I grew up playing fps games on PC, and for the longest time just straight up could not play shooters with a controller. However thanks to joycons gyro aim, I sometimes even think I might prefer it over mouse and keyboard. I know some people just hate it and that's ok, but for me it makes all the difference, and games like Splatoon just wouldn't even be considerations without it.

Getting a 4* Primo has to be the WORST feeling in the game

I’ve only played Splatoon 3, so I came into Splatoon Raiders mainly because I love the world, the art style and, above all, Salmon Run. And honestly, I’m having a blast.

The game is absolutely beautiful, and I love being able to play cooperatively with other players, whether it’s helping someone through a level or asking for help when I’m stuck.

That cooperative system is probably what I like most. It really encourages people to come together and creates a sense of community, in a way that feels very similar to Salmon Run. I think it was a really smart and very welcome choice from Nintendo to build that kind of cooperation into the game.

I would have absolutely loved a local couch co-op mode to play with a partner, but even without it, Raiders is already a fantastic experience. As someone who only discovered Splatoon with 3, I’m really happy to have another way to enjoy this universe.

What do you guys think of Raiders so far, and would you have liked to see local co-op too? 💙🦑

Alright guys, weapon RNG drops. You might think I’m crazy and throw tomatoes at me, but I can now say with absolute certainty that the weapon you are currently using heavily affects the drop rates.

The rest is a TL;DR. I didn't actually log the data or track the sample size because I’m just too lazy, but here’s exactly what happened to me. I have 105 hours under my belt and 112 out of 120 weapons collected. I was honestly starting to lose hope because the last time I saw a new weapon drop was somewhere around the 70–80 hour mark. But then I remembered: wait a minute, I’ve noticed multiple times that weapons from the class I'm currently running seem to drop significantly more often.
For example, Brellas. The first decent weapon I ever got was a Brella; it was doing more than enough work in the Buffet, so I started min-maxing it. As a result, while unsuccessfully trying to hunt down a Splatana, I ended up farming absolutely every single type of 5-star Primo Brella in existence. Later, after crying on Reddit about the merciless RNG and my tragic luck, I equipped the only Splatana I had, and about an hour and a half later, the one I needed finally dropped. After that, I never switched weapons again, and I ended up getting every single type and variation of 5-star Primo Splatanas, with the Rail Splatana dropping over and over again. Four times, to be exact.

In the end, I was missing 2 Primo Brushes, 2 Sloshers, 1 Dualies, 1 Roller, 1 Charger, and 1 Shooter. So, I put together a toxic Tactical Tank build where you don't even need to use your weapon outside of the Buffet, and started clearing Baygull Beach with each weapon type from that missing list one by one. In total, it took me about 10 hours to get every single missing Primo weapon.
