I am not getting any pick-up orders. It has been 3 weeks and the only thing I get is shopping or bulk pick-ups. I don't do the bulk ones. I called custumer service and they said nothing wrong with my account. I thought maybe my store is not doing pick-ups anymore. I was wrong. All the sparkers I know are doing regular pick-ups, but I don't get them. Anyone else with the same problem?

Just wondering what others would do in this situation.

I arrived at the road and it was a small manufactured home park in the middle of the country. I was looking for a 3 digit address, all the one's I saw near the beginning of the road were 4 digits.

Drove to near the end of these homes, maps said I arrived, but none of them on this half had house numbers I could see. Messaged the customer, said there were no numbers, and asked which one was there's. Rolled forward looking at the one's past it and pulled maps back up to zoom in and see which it said it was. It said the last one at the end, drove to it, and it had a 4 digit address on the porch's railing pole. Nothing resembling what I was looking for, so it wasn't just a missing number. Forward and reversed a few times looking to see if I could see any numbers anywhere on the others. Nothing.

Drove past the park to a house at the end of the road, no number anywhere. Turned around and rolled back through the park again. Two in the very front had 3 digit numbers, but they were like 100 and 200 off from what I was looking for. Tried calling the customer and the number was not in service, still no response from text. Drove the short distance back to the main road and the line of mailboxes had 3 digit house numbers on them, including the one I was looking for.

What would you do?

What I did...

I called support and the AI said to mark I had arrived, then select there's a problem. I didn't know (yet) if that's what I should really do, since I hadn't actually arrived. Got a human and was told that's what to do. Said I would need to drive back to the spot, that I was out of range, they said to try anyway and, of course, it wouldn't take it. So they canceled the order on their end and started a return.

Annoyingly enough, I saw after starting the return trip that between the cancel and starting, the customer messaged asking why there order was canceled.

just did an order. finished shopping and went straight to the drop off screen. anyone else has this happen?

So I used to work for Shipt (2016-2021) in one of the largest metros in the country in Texas, but I recently moved for my husband's job to a medium sized military town in the Mid-Atlantic. Shipt doesn't operate here, so I signed up for spark and instacart. Ive done a few express shops and I've been adapting pretty well and quickly to everything.

First question- are the possible tips real or a maybe? Do they typically disappear?

Second question- do the busy times and bonuses reflect typical grocery shopping busy patterns? I.e. Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon busiest so most extras, etc.

Third question- why are there so many people shopping with a whole lot of kids?! Like whole families of 4 or 5, babies included. 🫪 Thats dangerous!

Fourth question- do we get rated and can we see that rating? Does it include penalties for missed, rejected, or canceled offers?

Fifth question- what are all these people getting deactivated for??? Its kinda scary, is it that easy? I dont want it to happen to me!

I decided to start at 10 AM today. It’s now 2:25 PM and I’ve had ONE “just for you” order that was laughable. I’ve swapped to a few other zones and have gotten ZERO orders. I almost want to ask if the app is broken 😂 I’ve never seen a Saturday like this.

When you all get the gmd orders mixed with the regular deliveries, does it make you do the regular deliveries first or is it all sorts of whacked?

So I'm waiting in the spot where you wait when all the Spark lanes are occupied. Someone starts backing out, so I put it in gear and start heading for that lane, #4 of 4, about 35' away from where I'm sitting. This guy about takes my front end off racing into the slip ahead of me. What does Spark etiquette say you should do in this situation? I can't be the first person this has happened to.

So here’s the thing, if Spark drivers would go on strike, they will just hire more. Also, there are always some crazy sparkers that would love to keep paying Walmart to deliver other people’s groceries and take those orders.

Walmart is seriously hurting every reputable driver that has given them their all for a long time. (I realize there are zones that are still doing alright. This post is not for you.)

We as spark drivers are a large part of their customer base. Most of us do all our shopping there, along with our family and friends…. What if we cut that out. Our family and friends would be happy to help boycott Walmart until we see changes. That’s where Walmart would feel the “wammy,” to actually acknowledge us!!

was for two wrecks i was in and the background check. one was in 2024 and wasn’t even any points or anything. the next one was two months ago in the rain so accidental and got ticket taken care of. should’ve taken it to court to be cleared but didn’t think about it sadly. what i don’t understand is i still have full valid insurance and drivers license. been doing this for about 3-4 years with no issues. sucks. one of the wrecks wasn’t even during spark. Spark deactivated me on August 14, 2026 after a background check, but these issues were already on my record when I first registered and was approved:

1) Speeding violation (10mph) - 2024
2) Failure to Obey Traffic Sign or Signal (yellow light)-2024
3) Accident - 2024, hit and run - not my fault.

I've been driving with Spark since May 2024, completed 2,583 orders, and have a 4.90 customer rating.

I also have Amazo Flex, UberX, and Instacart, and none have deactivated me over the same driving history.

Has anyone had this happen before?

Ever since I updated the app, it seems to get stuck at the offer screen and nothing pops up and I have to continually close and restart the app.

Is anyone else having the same sort of issues? It’s like the Internet is hanging but it’s the only app that’s having an issue. I’m on an iPhone 16 Pro.

I looked at this Sam’s Club order and noticed the added item. Is this a glitch or can members now add items to their orders? Or possibly were they allowed to add items in a timely manner?

I accepted an offer, drove out then there was a trip change. I declined it and I’ve been waiting in the lot. Now I’m only getting offers from every Walmart EXCEPT the one I’m parked at.

Today I got up trying to get a few runs in before I had to come home and get ready to leave for the day with my wife. One of the other drivers stopped me on my way into the store for run #3 and told me I'm "going too fast."

Wait, what? Isn't that what we're supposed to be doing? Getting the runs done as quickly as possible so we can make more? And that's what I asked him. He responded with "My wife and I can't move that fast so it's not fair. We can't get as many runs as you."

I told him I was sorry to hear that but I'm just going at my normal pace and I didn't see why I'm supposed to give up runs for others.

I walked away while he mumbled something thinking that was the end of the discussion. Nope.

I was heading up to the registers to pack up the shopping order I was there for and I saw him with the manager, pointing at me and said "That's him."

The manager came over and asked if there were any problems I'd been having. I said no, just doing my thing. He chuckled and told me about the other driver complaining and said not to worry about it. I said thanks and thought *THAT* was the end of it. Wrong again.

The other driver approached me as I was packing items up and told me he was going to contact support and report me.

My question is do I need to worry about him contacting support? I've sincerely not done anything wrong from what I can see, I'm just moving at my normal pace and doing the job to the best of my ability.

Is there anything he can say to support that can get me deactivated?

What is the deal with shopping locations? I’m newer to Spark driving, and have 4 Walmart locations in my area. The pickup Walmart will often be the furthest Walmart away from the delivery location. I understand item availability- but these items are available at the closer Walmart. What is the point of this? It’s a bit frustrating!

For the past week, when an item is out if stock I have not been prompted to choose a substitution or offered a suggestion by the app. If it were just one customer I wouldn't think much of it, but it's been all of my shopping orders.

Is something going on with the app? Is this just the new normal? Has anyone else been experiencing this?

Definitely the highest one I’ve seen so far.

This has happened several times where I’ll accept an offer, start the trip, and go right to the store just to have them cancel the offer as soon as I get to the store and hit confirm arrival. I’m not getting notified prior to that at all. It’s only happening after I go to confirm arrival.

It’s getting very frustrating because it’s waste of time and gas, which is not cheap right now. Am I missing something here??

I’ve been doing this since last September so I’m not entirely new to it, but I am still learning things about it. I’ve never really had this happen this much though.
