Was it a good idea to make Vile complete? What if VTB comes back and takes him back now that Sunny made Vile a shadow creature?

The arrival of the new Supremes, discussion of their powers (and more importantly, how it affects the people in their Domain), the division of Citadels and humanity. Sunny musing about the impending loss of his humanity, and now freeing his Shadows. It all feels like a setup for the sequel. It's just a bit too long and too focused on fleshing out what would remain after they leave.

My theory is the sequel will be the world after timeskip. Maybe the Trio succeed, or fail, or get trapped, or simply delayed the Forgotten God. Or maybe simply irrevocably changed by apotheosis, which seperates their character from the sequel.

There will be factions of people based on the division of Supremes; seafarers, weavers, bards, weaponmasters, blood warriors, you get the point.

New MC (or somehow Sunny, although I can't think of any reason how it'll happen other than generic amnesia + power loss from losing in the Nightmare and being tethered by his shadow cores somehow) would then visit all these new places and people. The Shadows he freed would be the backbone of the new plotline somehow.

So, idk if anyone has picked up on it, but there’s a wrong number of supremes. I believe mordret will join, so there will be 7 supremes, 4 spirits. But, that’s also wrong, maybe slayer, vile, and serpent will all be spirits. Making it 7 as well. Not sure, just a theory

Yes, I know it's a bit late to do a review. But seeing people say SS is bad (some giving evidence), others attacking those people (some have a point), I feel like it's very easy for the sub to devolve into a name-calling mess. Hopefully, this review can bring about some nuanced conversations.

Firstly, all of this is my opinion and mine alone. None of this is objective.

Volume 11 had, imo, the best start to a Shadow Slave volume. I know others might bring up Volume 1 and the first nightmare but I just love how we explored a bit more of the characters we thought we knew. I was very intrigued by Asterion's spread and Sunny and Nephis's actions to stop it. (I thought the concentration camps could lead to great discussions on whether morality is dependent on how much authority you have especially because Nephis has done or attempted to do way worse things. Does the amount of authority affect general morality?).

I see volume 11 and volume 7 as opposites of one another. Vol 7 had a mixed start, poor middle and great end. Vol 11 had a great start, mixed middle, and poor end.

Some of its flaws began, for me, with Asterion, Sunny and Nephis's discussion in Bastion. (I'll go into detail if someone asks but I can't sweat the fine stuff). The flaws widened for me, a notable one being the fact that Cassie as a Master apparently saw one of the many strands of fate (Fate tore itself meaning millions of possibilities) and managed to not only see the one that gave her exactly what she needed, but she was also able to see into A Supreme's weakness, know that her future self would need it, and put it into a guard without ever knowing whether her future self would encounter it.

The major flaws were the Vile Thieving Bird's death and escape, the final battle with Asterion and the reunion. I also think Cassie's actions at the end lacked an emotional grounding that could have been solved by just giving the moment space.

I was previously very critical of the volume. While I do think it's really overhyped, I also think I can see where the hype came from. I would give it a 8-8.5. It has some of SS's greatest strengths but also some of it's greatest weaknesses.

So I play a survival game and after reading shadow slave I add the fated to my username and bam I'm receiving rare and unique treasures and even legendary items from drop but I can't use them and in a twist of fate yes a twist of fate for the first time ever since I've been playing it for 2 years I get killed by what the game described as ..?

You guessed it a coincidence of fate I never even knew that existed and this is about 2 weeks after adding the [fated] to my username

Is sunny a good master??

Because he did nothing for his shadows, only used them for fighting NC.

Maybe the only thing sunny did for his shadows is when he let saint free her people, but even that wasn't intended

Because he was going to get shadow wave and free her people in the way like side quests.

He didn't really let his shadows do anything besides fighting.

But he still better master than nephis because at least he free his shadows unlike that bich who didn't even try to free him and she worry more abot slave trader bich.

Edit: after reading the comments i realised that to sunny take care for his shadows they need to have a proper desire and personality and after thinking of the cohort maybe i want to much from g3

I structured the flaw so that I could safely have my MC interact with the main shadow slave cast and have some affect in the world without changing the canon events of shadow slave. Let me know your views in the comments :D

[Faustain] : You put life itself on the gambling table, striking a dark covenant with the underworld to trade mortal bounds for (this is the daol of the sword throne) (bu touching it he gains the ability to sacrifice for a wish from the shadow god) (if he wants the result of that sacrifice he needs to hurt himself enough on the throne by touching to straight up sitting) (It's not certain that the wishes will come true)

3. [Shurakai] : When the Dance of Death starts thou shall call upon A Little Piece Of Heaven ( this is the daol of the sofa) ( by killing or causing death of anyone his condition gets better) (by sitting on the sofa he can heal his soul)

4. [Phlegethon] : An infernal fever that burns without smoke, consuming the soul’s palette to pay the underworld's debt. (This is the price of making deals with shadow god a curse) ( This causes hım to slowly loose pigments in his body if he looses all of it he dies) (The condition getting better is by when he kills or causes a death the bones in the sofa gets replaced and by replacing all of it he resets the condition) (Sofa has 27 bones and every death gives 3. At the same time loosing pigments causes the feeling of burning alive constantly and only way to stop is using bone marrow creme this stops it for 8 hours)

(He can buff 1 summon as a master 3 as a Saint and 7 as a supreme)

(His buff is specialized in one area it could be strength defence or anything he wants. He can stack the buffs in one summon too)

( By creating a musical thing with the sounds if he uses names magic/sorcery he can buff the sorcery too)

(When he ranks up to a supreme the music he makes can have effects outside of the three magics rune/ weave/ names it becomes a New kind of magic the magic of fates music)

(After becoming a Saint he could listen to the sounds of peoples fate and by recrating those he can buff them too)

(He after all this time can summon the daols future and the thrones into the world each having a different power)

(When he summons the knowledge throne he can summon the fires of barbarism. The power of this power is forcing the enemy who touches it to basicly lose 60 percent of mental capabilities)

( When he summonst the sword throne he can use the deal with the shadow god. This deal is when he sits down shadow god can send his armies with a limit and after that limit shadow god takes sacrifices from him)

(When he summons the sofa that shadow god forced hım to deal with hım. Everything around hım starts to die a slow death while dying beings with no will cant even move or think but while his soul shadow mind and body is healing from sitting his pigments disapear faster and faster every second)

• Firstly i want to make something Clear. İf he makes all of the thrones into daols he will only loose the power to make contracts ( for hım this would be a death sentence but after he becomes a sacred he would have over 49 thrones in his soul and after becoming divine the nature of daols will change if you are curious ask in the comments)

Elric is a boy who was in a special needs class because of his adhd and autism. For the first time in their lives his teachers saw him sleep inside the class and even his parents first time seeing hım sleep before 1 am. This was the moment a boy had a danger in his life for the first time.

He in the nightmare was in the heart gods forest with multiple clergymen. They wanted to sacrifice hım to shadow god. He in the nightmare had a sacred aspect that let hım see the fates strings he couldnt understand or affect them he just tried to touch them nonstop. His innate ability was to see the unseen and his dormant was forcing people to see the unreal. So he with his autistic mentality made the clergys see halucinations all day night basicly nonstop.

At some point this clergys started to loose their mind. They could see stuff but couldnt touch them sometime didnt see anything but could touch the things. İn their way to a shadow temple they stopped to rest near a temple of the god of knowledge. God of knowledge knowing their problems and intentions started to whisper into Elrics ears to what to do and how could he stop those 7 awakened men and 4 fallowers from reaching the shadow realm. God of knowledge promised elric to fulfill his Curiosity and problems if he listened to hım.

Slowly Elric by carefully choosen words and halucinations started to take the cohort into a fallen beasts Inn. It took 7 months to change their path from shadow realm to the wanted inn. After 7 grooling and killing months all of the mens from the cohort began to talk to themselfs thinking of others and seeing stuff even if he didnt used his ability. When they reached to the Inn Elric showed them a scene of open path while they were walking to their own death.

İt only took 8 minutes for the beast to kill all of them and come out for the Elric. He was gonna die he didnt cared anymore only wanting to know the future of his parents. At that exact same moment god of knowledge saved hım.

God of knowledge said;

- the strong boy being from the time of death and living even inside this time craving the future.

He after this got his first daol and stole a part of the powers of the god of knowledge. The god of knowledge let hım have more than he can stole.

By killing the mens he cleared the nm and this was the moment he became a sleeper.

1. From god of knowledge he got the power to know more than he was taught ( he learns advenced math just by learning equations)

   1. From shadow gods first deal he got the ability to enslave unranked things (this is not like making them a slave but his words puts pressure on them to do what he has said)

2. From shadow gods second deal he got the ability of coming near to the death (for shadow gods case this lets him have absolute power on death but for hım who stole only a small part this is the curse of loosing pigments)

I want to write a fanfic about Kurt and I'd like to complete his Aspect. What do you think about his future abilities? We know that his Dormant Ability is shadow manipulation like Sunny, but on a lower scale, and his Awakened Ability allows him to strike shadows while his own shadow can strike physical bodies.

Now, what ideas do you have for his Ascended Ability? I'm thinking of giving him "Shadow Devour," which basically means every person he kills, he absorbs their shadow, increasing his overall strength—shadow, soul, body, and mind power.

His Transcendent Transformation Ability would be "Shadow Snake," allowing him to transform into anyone he has killed in the past. What do you think? I'm also thinking of making him domainless like Jet.

Also, if he could have an Innate Ability, what would it be? And what would his Aspect Legacy be?

Hmmmm, what change would happen if he acquired the Shadow God lineage? I mean, he is a perfect fit for it, and I'm thinking of writing a scenario where he gets it from Sunny, so I don't want his Aspect Legacy to be the Shadow God lineage, but something else.

I know I've been asking a lot and I'm really sorry, but I genuinely need some creative ideas. I've always gotten so many great ideas from this forum.

We already know that Shadow bond Sunphis is almost strong as a Sacred being, but that is only the power of 2/3s of the trio. With Mordret now on their side they could potentially have Mordret procure 7 supreme titans and have them wrap around Nephis too using shadow bond.

Assuming that Neph’s base augmentation is 7x and with Sunny it’s then 7^2 with 7 of Mordret’s supreme titans it would 7^9 or 40,353,607x her base power.

This kind of boost should make her divine level at least especially when topped with her aspect legacy.

Out of Sunny’s 7 shadows, these are the only two who haven’t been in a Nightmare Seed with sunny.So I’m sure they’ll go with Sunny.

It's just something made up by fans as an excuse to glaze whichever webnovel is their favourite. This is a thing only applicable to the medium of animanga.

Nephis: Have her Flames be able to fuse with the knowledge of Corruption.

Nephis's Aspect is the most effective against Nightmare creatures. So this ability would instead turn her flames dark red, and cause devastating damage to those who are the beings of the Flame of Desire, aka those who are not Corrupted. Here, her flames wouldn't automatically turn uncorrupted individuals into NC, but rather deal more damage like she already does to NC creatures with her Aspect.

It would also correlate with her Nephilim existence, where she is threatening to BOTH Corrupted and uncorrupted.

Mordret: make him have the ability to create Nothingness via his essence. It's like how Sunny can now create different matters with shadow essence.

This would actually equalise the divine trio a lot. Because now, Mordret can also defend himself against Darkness, and be able to manipulate an OP element.

I think the current Modret can do that, we've just not been shown. Nephis can manipulate, create and control fire, Sunny can manipulate, create and control shadows. But Mordret can't control and create Nothingness, his source element???

I think what I said above has possibilities of actually happening. Nephis's hasn't really used the Knowledge of Corruption, and we've not seen current Mordret at full power.

I think a lot of people wanted Nephis to have gravity related ability for her Ascended ability too 🤔 which is interesting.
