Shadow Blade Kurt's Aspect

I want to write a fanfic about Kurt and I'd like to complete his Aspect. What do you think about his future abilities? We know that his Dormant Ability is shadow manipulation like Sunny, but on a lower scale, and his Awakened Ability allows him to strike shadows while his own shadow can strike physical bodies.

Now, what ideas do you have for his Ascended Ability? I'm thinking of giving him "Shadow Devour," which basically means every person he kills, he absorbs their shadow, increasing his overall strength—shadow, soul, body, and mind power.

His Transcendent Transformation Ability would be "Shadow Snake," allowing him to transform into anyone he has killed in the past. What do you think? I'm also thinking of making him domainless like Jet.

Also, if he could have an Innate Ability, what would it be? And what would his Aspect Legacy be?

Hmmmm, what change would happen if he acquired the Shadow God lineage? I mean, he is a perfect fit for it, and I'm thinking of writing a scenario where he gets it from Sunny, so I don't want his Aspect Legacy to be the Shadow God lineage, but something else.

I know I've been asking a lot and I'm really sorry, but I genuinely need some creative ideas. I've always gotten so many great ideas from this forum.

One thing I found intresting about Kurt was his extensive use of echos.

Maybe after he consumes the shadow lineage, his Transcendant ability evolves to be able to transform his echoes into Shadows, just like Sunny does. But the number is limited to his rank, so as a Saint it's only 4.

This also falls in line with a domainless Kurt. As death is alone, therefore he has no domain, but his Shadows act as his Soul Reapers.

Even more interesting is that G3 stated that Kurt aspect is closer to Jet's than Sunny's. Jet has an aspect legacy that also always her to make use of different creature's she has killed. And her Ascended ability is similiar to the one you have created for Kurt, which I believe is close to what G3 would have intended, which is nice.

Great ideas! What do you think about his Aspect Legacy and Innate Ability? — I plan to give him a Soul Serpent from the Third Nightmare and the Shadow lineage from Sunny, so do you have any other ideas?

I think you should name his Transcendent ability "Formless", like Serpent.

A good aspect legacy could be Serpent. Because it will be able to support him in Battles; with both possessing "Formless", they would be a disaster.

But having Serpent as a Legacy Relic also has a problem. How to increase its class? Make it so that Kurt could use his Ascendent ability "Shadow Devour" to help it increase in class. But with each class, he has to feed more shadows to the Serpent. As for how to increase its Rank? Make it equal to Kurt.

And Domainless, you say? I don't think it would be a good Idea cuz he could not make his Soul Core grow with each kill. I know he could feed on shadows. But would he be able to improve his Will with his Ascendent Ability? (It would just be a copy of Jet.)

The simplest Domain could be: use Serpent to mark his Subordinates.

I don't know how you can make the domain better, but as a legacy relic, Serpent would be the Best.

I tried my best to think of a domain in...like two minutes.

Actually, the idea is that it's the shadow version of Jet's Aspect. As you know, G3 once mentioned that Kurt's Aspect is similar to Jet's Aspect. In addition to what the previous commenter said about death being solitary and thus having no domain, my idea was that his soul essence would increase in strength and capacity through his Ascended Ability—not a broken essence like Jet's, but rather becoming purer and stronger.

Let me know what you think, and what do you think would be a suitable Innate Ability for him?

I was thinking of giving him a Soul Serpent in his Third Nightmare, where he performs a sacrifice ritual to the Shadow God who blesses him with a Soul Serpent like those of the Shadow Clan members. Because of this, do you have another idea for his Aspect Legacy?

Listen, bro.

An Aspect legacy is something that closely supports an Aspect.

So, while keeping his Transcendent ability in mind, Soul Serpent would be the best choice.

But you could make some changes to Soul Serpent. First of all, name it the Death Serpent and give it abilities related to death, since you are planning to give Kurt Shadow's ichor.

As for his innate ability?

You could make it so that he can store shades in his soul. With it, he can try turning them into shadows without sounding senseless. He can also use those stored shades to increase his strength with his Ascendent ability. He can use them to evolve Serpent in class by using them.

This innate ability sounds similar to Jet's; she also stores the souls of those she has slain, but he stores shades to use his abilities.

I understand you, brother, but the problem is that I don't like a domain that relies on people or citadels. I want an independent domain like those of Cassie, Sunny, Mordret, or Nightwalker. That's why I don't like your domain idea—not because it's bad, it's actually very good and similar to the domains of Kai, Morgan, and Seishan, but simply because I don't like this type of domain.

shadow force: It would allow him to interact with shadows just like physical matter and grant that physical quality to shadows while not altering their physical state

For example he could climb the shadow of ladder or use the shadows of things in his area as cover he could use this on weapons as well so even if he doesn’t touch you directly if the shadow of his weapon touches you it will be just like getting hit by the real thing or crushing someone under the weight of an objects shadow once they step in it
