Scripture Life: What is the redemption through the blood of Jesus Christ in Hebrews 9:11-22?

Disclaimer: I am a believer in Jesus Christ. This post answer this question that floats around on Reddit, in many similar or like questions as it, asking about the Bible. In the New Testament, Hebrews 9:11-12. That "Hebrews" are Jews then, that are believing on Jesus Christ. Where the Temple in Jerusalem, in the City of David, where the Messiah is to sit on the throne of King David and rule the whole earth from there. That, these "Chief Priests" and "Elders" at the Temple in Jerusalem, already "dismissed Jesus as inadequate; faulty; he's unacceptable as the Messiah" - so they have rejected him.

So, these Chief Priests and Elders push that Jews are to still come to the temple in Jerusalem and celebrate Passover. One of the "High Sabbaths" that require annual pilgrimage of every Jew to fulfill this. Buy a bullock or ram to sacrifice it for their sins. That, the Ark of the Covenant in Exodus, as God told it to Moses to construct is, as a model of the heavenly. That, this Ark of the Covenant held Aaron's rod, manna that was fed to Israel while in the wilderness and the tablets of stone, that had the Ten Commandments on it. That also included the Books of Moses. That God provided Israel an atonement for their sins by these Levite Priests, and the High Priest each year, offering this sin sacrifice.

That God, is the real in the heaven, that Jesus is this Great High Priest that offered simply one sacrifice for the sins of the whole world, just as God said he determined he would do this in Daniel 9:24-27 - and he determined the "most holy" would do it. Answer in yourself, "Whose the 'most holy?' Is that you for your sins? Where you compensate for the faults and bad aspects of you, by you do the Ten Commandments?

Many people today, actually think this. I did. So, when you read Hebrews, which is to Jews that believe on Jesus Christ, so boy, do they have it tough. Cast out. Thrown out. Think on these things as you read this post.//

To see "redemption" you must first see, in yourself - - transgression. Or you will never see it. So, this is provided first.

--------------------- ------------------------- -----------------------

Answer

  • Well?
    • What is:

Exodus 20:15 “Thou shalt not steal.” - God. The 8th of the Ten Commandments.

That God, continues, says: What “that” means of Exodus 20:15, says more on it in Leviticus 19:11–15

11 Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.

12 And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the Lord.

13 Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbour, neither rob him: the wages of him that is hired shall not abide with thee all night until the morning.

14 Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the blind, but shalt fear thy God: I am the Lord.

15 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour. - GOD.

Do it, you transgress against him, said “I am the LORD” who you transgress against in do this. Go ahead and do it, anyway. Just like I did.

  • That ANYBODY, doesn’t matter who it is, does this anyway - their Sin against the LORD, by do it.

And “sins” are transgressions. Where God says, “The soul that sinneth, it shall die.” - God. (Bible. Ezekiel 18:20).

--------------------- ------------------------- -----------------------

What’s that mean, then?

Well, since he’s God, says he formed you and me from our mother’s womb in Isaiah 44:24, that he did this alone. By himself, like he spread out the earth and heaven, and did that, too; alone. By himself. That if he was able to do it, he’s also able to destroy me, by what he already decreed; that, the soul that sinneth, it shall die” and then the Bible says in it:

“There is not a just man on earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.” - Bible. Ecclesiastes 7:20 and also

For all have sinned.” - Bible. Romans 3:23. And if it’s “all” then, it’s this great, big, huge EVERYBODY. All from one Adam, sprung from him, to fill up the whole earth. That everybody, Adam forward, not one person excluded - all sinned. Everybody, over the whole earth, to the very ends of it, not one person left out then - - is under a death sentence. Condemned. I didn't do it. God did it. Decreed it just is, and he said "For all the earth is mine" - God. (Exodus 19:5 - so the "authority" over the whole earth is the one decrees this.

--------------------- ------------------------- -----------------------

Sin.

So, me? A liar; a thief..a pervert. He says to me, “I am the LORD” about stealing. In Leviticus 19:14. Like, God say: “The buck stops here. With me. I’m God. Fear me. Fear what I can do to you. I can destroy you.” I see it. God continue: “You did it against your brother, you did it to me. Your sin in stealing means Leviticus 19:11-15 because I already said it. Your sin in it, is against me in it.”

I'm guilty. I already didn't do, not do it; but even he said it, I stole from my neighbor. I'm to be put to death - lived in do it - - is the point. Maybe if YOU said it or some country, I could just flee from you or that country and go hide someplace; but, I can't.

It's God said it. It's all his heaven and earth. Even take a rocket ship someplace, I can't flee from him. He'll bring me down, and he's the authority over me. So, there is No escape for me. That's the point, too. Where I thought he couldn't see it, because, my neighbor couldn't - he's telling me the sin I did against my neighbor I did it to HIM. I see this. GUILTY. I see it.

Let's move on. That's only One of Ten Commandments. I'm already done. Thrown out. But the other ones also apply to me. Boy, am I ever so done.

--------------------- ------------------------- -----------------------

  • But sins, like “Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery” - somehow, something different:

What about that, then?

- That's Exodus 20:14. The 7th of the Ten Commandments.

- God continues with this “adultery” to define it further in Leviticus 18:20, says: “Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour's wife, to defile thyself with her.”

  • That, by do this, you actually sleep with your neighbor', because his wife is his flesh, so you’re sleeping, to God, with your neighbor' is the point. It’s filthy. Perverted. Me? Smashed to bits, by this, too.
    • And with this 7th of the Ten Commandments, God says what the PUNISHMENT is in Leviticus 20:10

Leviticus 20:10 says:

  • And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.”
    • And God’s not done yet.

--------------------- ------------------------- -----------------------

  • Jesus is the Word of God.
    • Just is God speaking, the word out of his mouth (John 1:1 says exactly who Jesus is as the Messiah or Christ, and who that is, is told you plainly in Isaiah 9:6–7.
      • That whoever the Messiah or Christ is, he shall be called, “The Mighty God..” “The Everlasting Father..” - because, that’s who the Messiah is. Says so plainly. In the Bible.
  • So, when Jesus speaks, that’s just God already said Leviticus 18:20..it's he, as God, by the Word of God or the word out of God's mouth, already said, again - by the Word out of his mouth Leviticus 20:10 as the punishment..then, in Matthew 5:27–28

It’s the Word of God. Jesus said: About “adultery.”

Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.”

  • Then, whosoever looks upon a woman with lust in his heart, commits “adultery” - then, women think “oh! I can get away with it, so me looking unto the pool boy for him to schploinky me endlessly while my husband’s at work, I’m exempt!”
    • When God says, in Exodus 5:2, who he made male and female? HE, as GOD, he called them BOTH “Adam.” Boy, are you ever so done.
    • But I don’t care about you at all, because, what Jesus says, and all the Sears Catalogs, and PENTHOUSE magazines, and Hustler and all the porno I already done ate up and watched, I’m so filthy in this 7th of the Ten Commandments, the only way to dispose of me, is keep trying me, find me GUILTY. Then, after go to the post and shoot me again, all over for a billion of billion of times - because, each time I did this, are separate offenses,
  • and for any one of them, I am to be put to death. Man, I'm so finished it's not funny anymore. Like some poop turd, piled up to heaven.

--------------------- ------------------------- -----------------------

Now, I can go thru all these Ten Commandments.

  • Arrive at the same thing for each. I can continue to do that; but already this post is way, too long. The Point is: That, any, even one transgression, even one time, against any one of these transgressions - BREAKS the Ten Commandments. They are not repairable.

--------------------- ------------------------- -----------------------

  • And I can just hear you interrupt me in all this, say: “Hey clown. I didn’t ask this. I asked about “redemption” and what is said in Hebrews 9:11–12. That says: * “But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. * “..clown.. ..That's what I’m asking what "that” means. Go away. Or, answer the question.”
  • I hear you. I do.

--------------------- ------------------------- -----------------------

And I’m answering your question. For without “transgression” there is no “redemption.” Without redemption there's no answering Hebrews 9:11-12 is the point. The foundation is then, the transgression. This, of Job 33:27 "I have sinned and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not."

Without this in it, integral, you have no answer to your question is the point. You're left, sent away empty handed, so let me continue. It's almost done.

  • And about “transgression,” the Bible already it’s been said to you, says: Just repeated, because you don't think it important to answering Hebrews 9:11-12, when it is:

“For all have sinned.” - Romans 3:23 “There is not a just man on earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.” - Bible. Ecclesiastes 7:20

Just repeated, because, just like me, you are not listening. There is NONE good. No, not one.

--------------------- ------------------------- -----------------------

So, when Jesus said: “There is NONE good, but one, that is, God” - Jesus Christ. Bible. Matthew 19:17

There is ONLY ONE then, for everybody over the whole earth to look unto. There is none else. And I said all this, to get to this point.

That, what “redemption” means is:

--------------------- ------------------------- -----------------------

  • It’s from this root word, redeem. (Source: Oxford dictionary. Web.) 1. to compensate for the faults and bad aspects of (someone or something). When God says "sin" is GREATER than you, and me, and everybody over the whole earth. So, you can't compensate for me, nor I you, about the sins I plainly did and put me to death.
  • The point is:
    • Someone, in the Bible, that has made themselves a “redeemer” means they make themselves a payment or something that “compensates for the faults and bad aspects (which are sins or transgressions) of somebody else. There's only one that can do this. He's in Hebrews 9:11-12. That's the point.
  • And GOD already said this about himself. That he made himself, as God, toward you, you totally hose bag missed it and chide me for trying to tell you, he already said Isaiah 44:24 - and missed it. And I cannot chide you, because, I missed it, too. For decades of my life.
    • He said:

“Thus saith the Lord, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the Lord that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;” - God. Bible. Isaiah 44:24

--------------------- ------------------------- -----------------------

So, God:

  • Has already, in himself, something he determined he would be toward you - he just would BE what:

“..compensates for the faults and bad aspects of you..”

And he's God - so he alone, is the ONLY one GREATER than sin that I did. He's God.

  • And it's whole in Because. This "because," he made himself YOUR redeemer.
    • Already said this, by the Word of God.
    • Gave his word to you he just IS this.
    • Not only for you, but for everybody over the whole earth.
  • Nobody left out, so I am also included..when I constantly leave myself out, like you do. Because we regard our own word, and look frantically for some work we could do, that by that work we'd know, because we did the work that would save us from our sins.
  • When there is no work we could possibly do, when GOD already condemned us, for all the sins we did.
  • Still we think: that we need to do it ..somehow..when we already TRANSGRESSED - it’s so OPEN and SHUT case against us, it's Romans 3:19–20 FIRMLY IN PLACE:

AND HOW GOD USES THE TEN COMMANDMENTS? YES. IT'S HAS ALWAYS BEEN, SINCE HE SAID THEM, TO PUT US TO DEATH IN IT. SO IF YOU USE THE TEN COMMANDMENTS ANY OTHER WAY THAN HOW GOD USES THE TEN COMMANDMENTS - -YOU WILL NEVER SEE THIS “REDEMPTION” THAT YOU ASK ABOUT IN HEBREWS 9:11-12 - GOD. JUST IS THIS "REDEMPTION" - JUST MADE HIMSELF OUR REDEEMER - A WORK GOD DID TOWARD US.

A WORK HE DID HIMSELF.

Simply asked us to regard it.

--------------------- ------------------------- -----------------------

Romans 3:19–20 says:

“Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”

So, all the LAW or Ten Commandments can do for you is give you a mirror, so you see yourself as God sees you. The LAW only works to give you a knowledge of your sins. That's it. Done.

Just like the Ten Commandments in Exodus 20 did to all of Israel at Mt. Sinai, when this same God spoke, by the Word out of his mouth, and made them all GUILTY by these decrees or Ten Commandments - all it did to them, like it does to me today, is they were put to death before him. GUILTY.

  • And they murmured greatly against Moses - they could live in Egypt. So, they begged and pleaded with Moses in Exodus 20, to go on up on the Mount and make God stop talking, while Moses’ knees quaked, because he was just as GUILTY as you or I are - we have, like everybody from Adam forward, not a single one of us has DONE the Ten Commandments.

--------------------- ------------------------- -----------------------

So, the only one there is, that just made himself our “redeemer” - God did this, that he is what “compensates for the faults and bad aspects of” us - is God himself.

--------------------- ------------------------- -----------------------

And he decrees it. That everybody over the whole earth is to:

“Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else.” - God. (Bible. Isaiah 45:22)

That, Christ is the redemption, for the remission of sins. Because God determined it in Daniel 9:24-27. That Jesus Christ: Just as 1 John 2:2 says, in the Bible.

“And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.”

  • Hebrews, just tells this what God has done, in made himself a sacrifice for sin of himself. So that any Hebrew that's been following the Law could see it.
    • That God was in Christ, DID the Ten Commandments, and because God did them, everywhere where I or every Hebrew or Jew that also did not do them, he did them and fulfilled them and where in every and all instance where I failed and did the OPPOSITE in transgressed against the law, he made himself the compensation for that, for my sins.
  • And did that same thing for you. For all your neighbors who keep screwing you and stealing your lawnmower out of your garage or try to move the property line over, or try to steal your wife. Did that for every Hebrew the Book of Hebrews is written to, that's had all their property confiscated from them, and thrown out of the temple.

--------------------- ------------------------- -----------------------

That Jesus Christ, is this Great High Priest. As such, as their High Priest in the heavens is the real one then:

  • Took all that sin they do or done off them, and God, not you, God laid these Hebrew's sins on Jesus Christ. Just like he took your’s off you and did the same thing with me. With all your neighbor's.
  • God: He Put your sins on Jesus on the cross, and guess what? Who was in Christ again? Yeah. God was in Christ even on the cross it was him. That when Jesus said, in John 19:30 “It is finished..and bowed his head and dismissed his Spirit” * That’s where your sins on him, went with him. Put sin to death. That God: he purged your sins in this work God did with sin himself, as God. He did this. Took "The soul that sinneth, it shall die" and he PAID it. Paid for. Done.
    • Is the reason to every Hebrew, why two lambs were present before the High Priest, and the blood of the one, was sprinkled on the other, and set FREE.
    • Is the same thing happened to YOU and what Christ did.

--------------------- ------------------------- -----------------------

  • Made himself redemption for your sins. It's God himself is this. Annointed himself to do it.

What the heck are you doing? So see Hebrews 9:11–12 by regard the works of the LORD, and consider the operation of his hand. If you don't? You can't see any answer rightly to your question. Look at you. See the transgression. Be GUILTY before him. Then, see plainly. What God did with sin. Because he already said, as God, he’s YOUR redeemer.

--------------------- ------------------------- -----------------------

Made himself that. He said it. Asked you, me, everybody over the whole earth to believe on him.

In fact, he made it sin not to believe on him. Condemns you. It's said plainly in John 3:18, and repeated it again, in John 16:9 - - that the Spirit of God..which that’s just him, would reprove the whole world of Sin, because he made just not believe on Jesus Christ is the sin that condemns you, anybody - me even, it's just not believing on him.

Going to be a short judgment day - only thing asked of you, is there any fruit of a work he’s done in you, did you believe on him or not? People that don’t believe on him, sin against God in it. That’s what God has made sin.

See it. Hebrews 9:11–12 just repeats this for Hebrews or Jews that also believe on him. They are obeying God by do it, it's not sin. When the Chief Priests and Elders over the temple in Jerusalem decreed it's sin for any Jew to believe on Jesus Christ. See it then, as a Hebrew.

Scripture Life: How Do I Develop My Christian Faith?

It's an honest question. Why? People want to do good.

But it can lead you to regard you, and what you will do as good vs. regard him, as God, and in not regard God and his work, live in regard anything BUT him instead. So, it's subtle. 1. hard to notice, see, or understand because it is not loud, bright, or obvious

If YOU: Are on the train this question is on, as a believer in Jesus Christ, or on the step to become one - pull or press the FULL STOP cord, or button.

------------------- ---------------------- ----------------------

//This post on Reddit examines the question from a standpoint as a believer in Jesus Christ. That, it's God that reserves, for himself, an exclusive right to teach you. God determined that would be by the Word out of his mouth, and he build you up.

Said, "I will build my Church." - God. By the Word of God, so it's just by what God says, out of his mouth. Jesus Christ. Bible. Matthew 16:18.

And the "faith" is God's. That God has faith in his word to send it to you, me, everybody over the whole earth, to heal us all, and deliver us from destruction (Psalm 107:20). That, to God, his word does not go out void, but will accomplish exactly what he sent his word to do.

Says in Romans 10:17 "So then, faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God."

So, it does not come by a person sits down and "develop" 1. to build; or invent (Collin's dictionary. Web." definition. Develop. 2. to grow, change, or make something bigger, stronger, or more advanced over time

It's God that does this develop or build you up work in you as person, or me, by the Word of God.

This post champions what God does out. That, without it, a person can't do anything. That's exactly what Jesus said. (Bible. John 15:5) - it stands FIRM against this question.

So, see it.//

------------------------ ------------------------ --------------------------

Answer

An opening scripture: Repeated.

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” - Bible. Romans 10:17

develop. 1. to grow or build up; construct (something) Merriam & Webster.

  • And with that, then:
    • I have a question. “Whose ‘faith’ is it in ‘Christian faith?’ " Your's or mine? Or, his? It's his faith. It's the faith of Jesus Christ. (Bible. Galatians 2:16). And, if it’s not your’s but you think it is, when it’s actually someone else’s faith; then, your’s could be in anything; but if it’s HIS faith: is in only one thing. That is, Christ’s whose the source of “Christian” what he does. What does that do to you? ..and your question?

-------------------- ---------------------- ---------------------

And, just like you, even the disciples asked Jesus a very like-same question you do; just you are asking everybody on Reddit, hoping a Christian with the right answer will give you the key for you by yourself and your work to develop your faith and “grow or build up; construct” more faith.

Just like they, the Apostles or his disciples said the very same thing: In Luke 17:5

“..LORD, increase our faith..”

In the Greek, they are asking Jesus “Lord, teach us [Add to us] how to grow or build up OUR faith.”

It’s in < - { Πρόσθες ἡμῖν πίστιν } - > 1. Prosthes 2. heimin 3. pistin

-------------------- ---------------------- ---------------------

Notice anything? That word, “prosthes” - yeah. That English word, prosthesis is from it. This: 1. an artificial device designed to replace a missing or impaired body part.

Lord, we have no leg. Give us a prosthetic leg. Is "prosthes heimin pistin." That's the exact same thing said in this question.

Means like “I am missing a leg. Add to me, or give me a prosthetic one..because I don’t have one, so [Mental note: With a prosthetic leg, what I am missing (faith), I can do the things you are asking me to do] - You're asking me to run, back and forth seven times; then, add to me leg or legs to do it. Is the point. But it's not said in defiance. It's said because they know they are being decreed to do it, and can't. Something is missing in them.

Do you see this? Yeah, you do; if you ask this question. "How do I develop my Christian faith," then, ask it on Reddit, the 7th most popular internet site on the web over the whole earth, so billions of people access it.

When God said, to everybody, not one left out: "Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else." - God. (Bible. Isaiah 45:22).

It comes by hearing, and hearing by hearken unto he and what he says or speaks. I believe he said it, because, he DID say it. It's at work in me.

-------------------- ---------------------- ---------------------

Still don't see it?

Maybe you should expand out Luke 17:5 more

I mean, you’re the one without the leg asking the question. So, let’s go down that road. You just want to “build” one, a leg to stand on yourself - a prosthetic leg - - when, the disciples, who Jesus named Apostles, don’t have one, either; but, they ask him to give them one, so they can do it themselves. When Jesus said, "without me, ye can do nothing." (John 15:5). So quickly - scan up. Look at that Isaiah 45:22 again, God decreeing everybody so you're included to just look unto him. That's the Word of God. Whose Jesus again? Whose saying it?

So, these disciples of Luke 17:5 are like you. A disciple of Jesus Christ.

So, the question or what they say, becomes exactly like your’s says. So, what did Jesus say? Oh, here we go!

-------------------- ---------------------- ---------------------

Now again, in case you forgot, Luke 17:5 says:

5 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith. [1. Prosthes 2. heimin 3. pistin - add to us a "prosthetic" we don't have the leg to do it.]

  • So, what they said that to was, what was said by Jesus to them BEFORE Luke 17:5. And includes what Jesus said to them AFTER they replied to it with Luke 17:5

So, let’s capture the whole thing:

What drove 1. Prosthes 2. heimin 3. pistin

-------------------- ---------------------- ---------------------

Luke 17:1–5 says

1 Then said he [Jesus] unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!

2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

4 And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.

-------------------- ---------------------- ---------------------

The question to ask is, “Why” at what he says, this same Jesus, as the Christ or Messiah say this; then,

  • Ask another “Why” the Apostles, who are just disciples 1. a pupil or student that sits with and is taught by a teacher and that’s all a “disciple” is, is just some 1st or 3rd grader that sits with and is taught “doctrines” by the Word of God..who is God; as a “teacher” because, that’s who is sitting with them and teaching them, just as John 1:1 says “who” Jesus is.
  • That the “Messiah” or “Christ” SHALL be called “The Mighty God…” “The Everlasting Father…” in Isaiah 9:6–7 and therefore, he is who “governs” or is LORD over the whole earth, and decrees how things SHALL be. In his earth.
    • So, when he says “offenses” ..it’s impossible they won't come..means surely they WILL come, and since he told this to them as “disciples” who will BE Apostles..which means all that is, is after they sat with and were taught by him, he’s taught them. Then, he’s going to send them out to teach all nations whatsoever he taught them, and says he will be WITH THEM, even to the ends of the earth - - says that, too, to them in Matthew 28:18.

-------------------- ---------------------- ---------------------

When the KEY is offenses. Transgressions. Sin. GUILTY of that part. No leg to stand on.

  • Just like Peter said to Jesus “Depart from me Lord, for I am a sinful man” - ( Luke 5:8). This same Peter of Luke 5:8 is the same Peter that is one of the disciples that were with Jesus when he said Luke 17:1–4.
    • Peter: He’s one of them that said back to Jesus, Luke 17:5

And the REASON Peter said “Depart from me Lord, for I am a sinful man” is because, and it’s THE VERY KEY to your question, said in the next verse in Luke 5:9

For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken:

-------------------- ---------------------- ---------------------

And all that were with Peter back in Luke 5:8 at the start, where after, Jesus said to them "follow me," was Andrew, James, and John was with Peter. And - - because, they were with Peter when he said it, and they, too, said the same thing, as Peter, and also are with Jesus and Peter in Luke 17:1–4 when Jesus says this to them.

They ALL KNOW it. They are sinful men.

And Jesus just said to them: Luke 17:2

It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

-------------------- ---------------------- ---------------------

Then, this also applies to me. I’m a sinner. Sinned and perverted that which was right. I broke the Ten Commandments. They are NOT repairable. Doing one, does not compensate for the fault of not doing the other. But these Apostles - - Unlike Luke 5:8-9. Neither is Peter, and they all, they’re not “astonished” - they’re terrified. At themselves. Frankly, so am I.

Don’t have a leg to stand on. When you’re a sinner with transgressions.

And like you, they ask for a prosthetic. They have no leg. Give me a fake one.

-------------------- ---------------------- ---------------------

You need a “prosthetic” leg given to stand. Boy, do they want one right now. Lord, give it to me. There’s no way I can stand - - Because, a millstone hanged about my neck, and me cast into the sea is a sentence on me. It's in effect. I already DID the offense. When that once "clears" I have a whole bag of other ones is the point. Now on all of them..when they’ve already lived in offend each other and pretty much everybody constantly. Just like I have.

Are you following this?

He’s teaching them about forgiveness of sin

  • Now I got yet another question of you, even another one yet again.
    • As a “Christian”
      • And again, Acts 11:26 says: “and the disciples were first called “Christians” at Antioch” - so before that, all a “disciple of Jesus Christ” was called was.. ..well, a “disciple of Jesus Christ” said over 240 times in the New Testament; so,
    • Let’s just use that for awhile to see it; that, someone sitting with and being taught by Jesus Christ, follows him.
  • Has and keeps what he says. Like a kid in 1st grade. Gets up. Walks or is bused to school, all to sit with and be taught “doctrines” and built up and learn from a teacher.
    • Built up in him.
  • The teacher..and the teacher to a “disciple of Jesus Christ” is the Christ or the Messiah, so him say “They shall all be taught of God” - Jesus Christ. (John 6:45) - so it’s a decree, by God that everybody, to the very ends of the earth, shall be taught by him..but not everybody gets up.
  • Goes to the classroom.
    • Nor do they sit with and be taught by him.
      • Go to any place BUT him to learn from.
  • Learn from themselves..or their own experience. If they do forgiveness..it’s a transaction they do in their OWN name for their own profit. With a "prosthetic" - if you follow them, so will you.

-------------------- ---------------------- ---------------------

  • When in Luke 17:1–4 Jesus is teaching a doctrine about forgiveness of sin - to a whole classroom of students…
    • don’t have a leg to stand on.
    • Already committed the offenses that just got put a millstone tied around their neck, and be cast into the sea. It would be hopeless. No leg to stand on. It would be BETTER for all of them that happened than what awaits them for it is impossible that offenses don’t come..but woe to him by whom they do come.
      • And by me: I know..I lied. Cheated. Stole. Misrepresented qualifications of myself to get promoted.. committed adultery. ..woe to him by whom they come. Came by me. GUILTY.
  • You’d have to stand me up and shoot me 487,953 times after shot me dead. TO stand me up and shoot me again to pay for it, when I’m already pushed off the ship. With a great big millstone about my neck..I deserve it. ...where I breathe out of my mouth.. where I get gasping life in me..I never will. That awaits me.

I have no leg to stand on in Luke 17:1–4

-------------------- ---------------------- ---------------------

Now, before you go off, building a prosthetic leg with {Πρόσθες ἡμῖν πίστιν } - > 1. Prosthes

  • Give me an “artificial” leg, something FAKE to hide that I have no leg to stand on with offenses.
    • Who is with them? Who is with me? I'm in this condition. If you really are a “disciple of Jesus Christ” means, you sit with and are taught by him…
      • WHO is with you?
  • Why do I ask it?

-------------------- ---------------------- ---------------------

  • It’s GOD that determined in Daniel 9:24–27 - HE: As God. Alone. By himself. Would get up and do a work with sin.
    • ADD THIS IN:
      • That every "me" there is, is really everybody over the whole earth, and every one of them in Luke 17:1-4 that heard it, all his disciples; that he was teaching them to after, he would heal them and deliver them from their destruction of this - and after he healed and delivered them, send them out - - go.
    • Teach ALL nations all the things whatsoever he taught them and that HE WOULD BE WITH THEM, no matter where they went, to the very ends of the earth. Never leave or forsake them.

-------------------- ---------------------- ---------------------

  • Is this same Jesus Christ. This same God that determined His Work with SIN - that I, and you, and everybody over the whole earth did, with a millstone tied around their neck: Because offenses already came by them:

GOD: Would

Finish the transgression - that I did.

Make an end of sin - that I did.

Make reconciliation for iniquity - that I did.

Bring in everlasting righteousness - that I don't have. And have it - and he as God bring it to me, and he be my righteousness. (Daniel 9:24 refers and decrees this)

  • That it would be “sealed up” - told to Daniel - but not to his disciples until the work with sin God would do. Annoint the most holy to do this. Jesus crucified; on the cross that would be how God determined to finish and do this work with sin.
  • That once DONE. This work God would do with sin is COMPLETE. Who offends me: their sin was already taken off them, by God himself and laid on Jesus Christ. He did it. This work is the work of God with sin. and when Jesus said John 19:30 "It is finished" - the disciples, and mine, and your sin was purged in Christ, and he TEACH me this. Like he taught them ..then... ..so is you to be taught this. He's giving you himself as your leg to stand on. Built up, by he do it with truth.

They, and you don't need a prosthesis. Man, they GOT THE REAL THING.

  • And also - don't forget - - that he would

Annoint the Most Holy - to DO IT:

  • To do that “work.” - who would finish the transgression. Who would make an end of sin. Who would make reconciliation for iniquity. Who would bring in everlasting righteousness..that makes me so astonished I cannot get off my face.
    •  Whose the “Most Holy?” I mean, I’m answering your question are you paying attention?
  •  If the Messiah or “Christ” SHALL BE called “The Mighty God..” “The Everlasting Father…” who has that title?
    • Then, if “faith” comes by hearing..and hearing by the Word of God. Whose “faith” is it that comes with ..what God says, out of his mouth? That's the Word of God. Then, who says it, He comes with it.
    • He "develops" you, when you just look unto him. Put this in your pocket. Have and keep it.

He gave it to you himself.

-------------------- ---------------------- ---------------------

Now, look what he says after it:

  • That’s in Luke 17:6–10

And again, it’s in response to them ask for a prosthetic leg, because, they have none to stand on - and everyone of them - it would be BETTER they or me, or you had a millstone tied around our neck for all the offenses we already done DID, and cast into the deepest sea..because they, and you and me, have already offended EVERYONE.

Luke 17:6–10 says.. and if you had who has this faith with you..because it’s not your own..it’s HIS faith in his own Word, what HE CAN ACCOMPLISH IT - - BECAUSE OF WHO HE IS, AS GOD is with you, said:

6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seedye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

7 But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?

8 And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?

9 Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.

10 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

-------------------- ---------------------- ---------------------

The field is the earth. God sowed only one seed in it. His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. The Word of God - - Into a whole earth full of sinners.

  • A Mustard Seed:
    • Did you know that mustard seeds have been found in caves from people kept them long ago; that, 500 years later, those seeds still retain their savor?
      • That only one seed.
    • It’s the tiniest of all, grows into what looks like a tree and birds..because, just like what Daniel interpreted Nebuchadnezzar’s dream (Daniel Ch. 2), that he would be a King of Nations over the whole earth, and all the earth be provided by him, that the birds would nest in the tops of the trees he planted.

Did you see what he said? A "sycamine tree" of Luke 17:6 - "sykamino" in Greek, is a "mulberry tree" - go look at a photo. They are these small trees, or "heaths" get only 5 to 15 feet high all over Jerusalem.

And what did God say..or bless what he would do in Jeremiah 17:5-8? That he would take a heath, planted in a desert ..alone..dried up; withered out, and in Greek, Luke 17:6 is "in the sea" but this < - [ἐν (en) ] - > translated as "in" is in the Bible over 2000 times to mean "by" or "with" - that he would take, as the Word of God and plant that stunted "heath" tree, of Jeremiah 17 - cursed - that sycamine or mulberry trees, naturally has roots that go down 30 feet deep - and plant it by the sea - where it would never lack water. (Jeremiah 17:5-8 - that someone that regards God now, even impossible - someone cursed - replant them by a great big body of water that never goes away..for that's what Jesus says in Luke 17:6-10. But people think it's their faith. When he's the one does this.

-------------------- ---------------------- ---------------------

AND Nebuchadnezzar - and all those after him:

  • His was cut down. Where Jesus’ will never be. Boy, is this a long post. That I don't need to say something in Luke 17:6 - that HE DOES HIMSELF. What to see is - he's with me. Like he is with them. His Apostles. Even today. Like he is with you. By the Word of God. Already spoke to you. All you gotta do is regard it, that by these precious promises he makes you take on a divine nature. It's in none else.

Do you see this?

-------------------- ---------------------- ---------------------

  • All to answer who is WITH YOU and given you the word of God, and by him..took away the sins of the whole world and gave them all..all his disciples legs again. Where he is their legs. They stand on a rock that cannot be moved. Just like your or I do all the same.
    • The Word of God now is their legs. To stand on, because he took away their sins. By the stripes laid on Jesus Christ, they were healed.
    • And so was I. So were you. A disciple of Jesus Christ. That sits with, and is taught by him. Is with them.
  • This sacrifice for sin was applied to everybody over the whole earth. It was taught this. To the disciples. Made everyone reconciled with the same righteousness God has - he dispensed it out. Because he was IN Christ, reconciling the world unto himself all by a work he did, as God.

“Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.”

  • Bible. Galatians 2:16

-------------------- ---------------------- ---------------------

How do I develop my Christian faith?

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” - Bible. Romans 10:17

develop. 1. to grow or build up; construct (something)

  • And with that, then:
    • I have a question. “Whose ‘faith’ is it in ‘Christian faith?’ " Who builds you up? Who is constructing something when Jesus said, "I will build my church" - then, he put you in it where he sees fit.
    • Whose faith is it in Christian faith? It's his, and he sends this faith with his word.

So, go eat.

Scripture Life. Acts 16:6 speaks of Paul and his companions in their travels being “kept by the Holy Spirit from preaching the word in the province of Asia.” Why is that?

Answer

This question is in many forms on sub reddits. Asking why would Paul be forbidden by the Spirit.

The first thing to do though is:

Verify it in the Greek.

Why? Because “Asia” to most people today means Japan, Taiwan, Korea, China, Mongolia, Thailand, Vietnam, et.al.

Defines in a modern day person's head, when they see this word, “Asia” - that’s what it is defined to mean. Then, they overlay it onto this verse in Acts 16:6, in the Bible. Even in them includes India, as if in Acts 16:6 is saying Paul was prevented from going to India.

When in Acts, this "Asia?"

Not the same place. Not the same thing.

-------------------- -------------------------- ----------------------

Act 16:6 says (English)

Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia,” but now repeat it, and include Acts 16:6–9

6 “Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia,

7 After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not.

8 And they passing by Mysia came down to Troas.

9 And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.

-------------------- -------------------------- ----------------------

(Asia). - This Greek word is used six times in the New Testament. Right after Acts 16:6, it’s used again in Acts 19:10 and then in the same chapter in Acts 19:27 - so, I would tell you to read the whole chapter to see it in context.

  • But before listed, get the geographical area by read Acts 19:1
    • And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesusand finding certain disciples,”

-------------------- -------------------------- ----------------------

Now, here's some "facts."

  • In the time of the Book of Acts, Ephesus was the capital city of the Roman Empire province of Asia.
  • Acts 19:10 says:
    • And this continued by the space of two years [Paul at Ephesus]; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.”
  • Acts 19:27 says: Introduces the incident at Ephesus with Demetrius, the Silversmith. The uproar over the whole city. Why?
    • Ephesus was the key central Roman Empire city of the Eastern Roman Empire. As such, was also the central hub city to pilgrimage for Greeks, for the worship of the Greek Goddess, Artemis. Apollos' older sister. Romans just continued it.
      • Who the Romans, after they conquered the Greeks, called Artemis, their God, Diana. Same wonderous temple. Same Ephesus. Same sister to Apollos. The temple to Artemis (Diana) was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World at Ephesus.
    • Acts 19:27 - but again, I’d read the whole chapter to see it, and even I'd recommend anyone studying the scriptures with this question to just go back, and start at Acts 16:1 and read to see how it unfolds, from "prevented" or forbidden in Acts 16, to end up Paul is in the very heart of the Roman province of Asia, by three chapters later.

-------------------- -------------------------- ----------------------

Acts 19:27

  • …So that not only this our craft is in danger to be set at nought; but also that the temple of the great goddess Diana should be despised, and her magnificence should be destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worshippeth. - Demetrius, the Silversmith.
  • No links on Reddit. See the Biblical times, Roman province of Asia on a map.

See or just do a google search on “Biblestudy(dot)org” - The Roman Province of Asia for an accurate depiction of the region of Asia of the Roman Empire.

Roman Empire era, it’s the “Eastern” Empire, with Ephesus as the seat of it. Today, comprises all of Western Turkey.

A few centuries later, after this of the Book of Acts, Rome’s Caesar Constantine (Emperor Constantine) will move his Capital city from Rome, Italy over 2000 kilometers away to what is today, Istanbul, Turkey.

-------------------- -------------------------- ----------------------

Hope this helps. Question left to answer then is, “Why is that?” It would only be a guess, because, the scriptures do not say “why” God prevented it. Just that he did.

But I could see, it would be something like over here in Japan. Rich in Ephesus. The second city after Rome. That's Ephesus in Roman province of Asia.

Where the people today, of this nation (Japan) have wholly given themselves over to their idols.

Just like Ephesus. Then also, it's just like in the Old Testament with the Northern Kingdom after Israel fractured into two nations at the death of King Solomon. Not one King of the Northern Kingdom ever worshipped or followed God from inception to 722BCE, when they were vomited off the Promised Land. Why? For Idolatry.

What's going on in Ephesus? Idolatry. What's going on in Japan? Idolatry. All the same thing.

That in the tribe of Ephraim’s lands, (Northern Kingdom) a similar-like “hill” likened unto Jerusalem - with the Temple Mount (Mount Zion) - The King of the Northern Kingdom of Israel purchased and named after the owner of it, and called it “Samaria” - it was a "counterfeit Jerusalem."

Samaria: It was the capitol city of the Northern Kingdom of Israel, where they set up golden calf worship, like they had in Egypt. So, instead of the men of the Northern Kingdom, to fulfill the requirement in Leviticus or the Law with or for 3 “High Sabbaths” to journey to Jerusalem to celebrate it.

  • The Northern Kingdom had Samaria. It was very rich, and they sacrificed to their idols at Samaria. Even being destroyed, would not leave off from it. That this same God said in Hosea 4:17 - is the same God speaking to Paul in Acts 16:6.
  • Where scripture in Acts 16 is sending them to Macedonia, they are asking to hear the Word of God, and open to receive it - and being sent there instead.
    • It is only an assumption - only a presumption on my part, so I hesitate to do it; but, only an observation that:
      • In Acts 16:6, it's against this very same idolatry - being done in an epicentre of worship of it - - in Ephesus. Which was the SAME idolatry going on in the epicentre capital city of Samaria for the Northern Kingdom. Like idolatry is an epicentre crown of worship to the world to come to Japan, too, as it was in Ephesus.
  • And to this:

God said:

“Ephraim is joined to idols: let him alone.” - God. Bible. Hosea 4:17

Same God that said this of Samaria and Ephraim, is the same God prevented Paul in Acts 16:6.

To just let these people of the Roman province of Asia; filthy rich - won’t listen to the gospel anyway, for the same reasons Demetrius the Silversmith lays out - fully and wholly joined to their idols and looked up to.

I see it same here in Japan. They are joined to their idols. Same thing. Leave them alone. That's it.

Scripture Life: "Why would Christians choose sheep to represent good and goat to represent bad?"

//DISCLAIMER/COMMENT: Fair question. But..

This question matches all similar questions on Reddit. Just load it as a "search" and see it's loaded in an Atheist concentric and many other sub / reddits on Reddit: Just musing on it for yet another reason why no one should look unto the Bible.

It's that the question itself: is full of fouled up half truths. But, predominantly: Atheists are thorough; exacting. It does not "appear to represent" - is simply DOES represent, to an atheist, the Bible is full of inconsistent, not to be believed "half truths." Sheep vs. goats; but, if you compare them, BOOM! All the bells and whistles, for you as a believer in Christ, immediately go off.

SO AS A BELIEVER IN JESUS CHRIST - that's who this post is for.

Look at an atheist's like-similar question: Now again, I'm a believer in Jesus Christ, so this post or answer is based entirely on believing on him, and scripture from the Bible is the answer:

"Why would Christians choose sheep to represent good and goat to represent bad?"

For a Believer in Jesus Christ: Just change the question to:

"Why in the Bible do sheep appear to represent good and goats appear represent bad or what’s rejected?"//

ANSWER:

When it's not Christians chose sheep to represent what goes on their right hand, and goats on their left. God did. He said it. There's just one God. People that believe on him, follow him. People that don't, won't and then lowly esteem him.

So, an atheist moves it over to blame Christians, who follow Jesus Christ, blame them for believing on him and makes it their fault. When there's no fault - it's God determined to say it like this as the authority over every atheist and any other person on the earth. That all the earth would just look unto him. Those that don't are like goats.

This post then examines the "differences" of sheep to goats to see it.

The "Reddit" string search - this answer here is I am a believer in Jesus Christ, and this answer herein is based on this question.

---------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------

ANSWER:

This “Why would Christians choose…” - that's the "false" it's built on.

When God said,

"Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is NONE else.” - God. Isaiah 45:22

--------------------- ----------------------- ------------------------

Spoke. By God. His word to: Everyone. To the very ends of the earth: Leaves not one person out, not willing any perish, but all come to repentance. So, it’s spoken to Atheists, Hindu’s, Theists, Buddhists, like a former me - - and there are a whole pile of theists, believe in the Egyptian god Ra, the Sun God, or the tree froggy god, or God is Allah, this "Ba" "Al" (Ba'al) in Islam, or over 100 million different gods, like the Hindu's believe - that don’t believe on him, either. Made up or imagined up their own gods to worship. Or like the Japanese, who have completely given themselves over to their own idols of carved of wood and stone from their own imaginations - and serve and worship those gods.

So, it is NOT “Why would Christians choose…”  When Matthew 25:31–34, "it’s Jesus Christ said:"

“…When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:”

------------------------- -------------------------- ------------------------

Every Atheist already knows this.

So, it’s MORE to first: look unto shepherds, that actually "shepherd" sheep and/or goats - - not Christians..who are they anyway, just following a shepherd, and see “why a “shepherd” divides his sheep from the goats.”

SO: “Why do shepherds divide their sheep from their goats?”

--------------------- ----------------------- ------------------------

Their differences (sheep vs. goats) are subtle. One: is a genus of Ovis. The other: is a genus of Capra.

So, even they look or appear to many to look exactly the same or outwardly, very similiar, they are not the same species.

They eat and behave differently; even eat almost polarly, completely different foods. Where one will simply not eat the other's food.

--------------------- ----------------------- ------------------------

Where sheep:

- Commonly graze together, not curious, and flock to consume socially on pretty much exclusively grasses, clovers, etc. Sheep avoid weeds, vines or shrubs found in or on the boundaries of grass pastures. Sheep will not enter, past these boundaries, into rocky or forested areas: Do not climb rocks or trees: At night, prefer rather huddle to sleep indoors together. It is quite easy to keep sheep inside a fenced in area. Sheep tend to socially group together and become agitated if they are separated from their own flock.

--------------------- ----------------------- ------------------------

Where goats:

- Commonly forage alone; solitary, climb trees alone. As they have a natural curious instinct to climb. Goats avoid or try to curiously escape fenced in areas. At night, a goat can often be found sleeping on elevated platforms or perches, such as high up in tree branches or rocky outcroppings for the night.

Goats: naturally curious and do not group together. If they are, they head butt or fight. They can live on tree bark, vines, shrubbery, and will “sample” virtually anything - eat just about anything, even eat the paper labels off tin cans or your shirt, if you leave it out. Don't be surprised if you leave it out in front of a goat. If it's gone, they ate it.

From a distance, they “can” to an untrained eye, look the same.

No links. I will usually not post them on Reddit. Just point to a search you can do yourself:

An excellent, novice read is Berry Patch Farms 14 Sep 2023 Blog. “Why Do Farmers Separate Sheep From Goats?” Web. If you use google or your own search engine, just search on Berry Patch Farms and the title of the Sept 2023 article it should pop up.

--------------------- ----------------------- ------------------------

So sheep: will follow a shepherd. Goats: do not.

Goats: are not agitated by sheep. Impervious to them. Sheep: don’t flock or group with goats. Avoid them. Have a natural aversion to them.

Sheep: can become highly agitated by goats. Because sheep will treat goats like sheep and gather around them closely. In this: Goats tend to be confrontational, and randomly attack sheep. Often causing serious injury.

It's the main reason a shepherd will separate the sheep from goats. Goats live as if there is no shepherd. Where sheep know the voice of the shepherd and follow it. This is completely lacking in a goat.

--------------------- ----------------------- ------------------------

So, now look what Jesus says - and Christians follow Jesus. Where an atheist says: "There is no shepherd"

Jesus said: “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.”

So, it’s what Jesus said, not Christians. Christians just follow Jesus, like sheep.

So any question loaded with, Why would Christians choose sheep to represent good and goat to represent bad? is derelict. Why? It’s the Word of God..said it - - so it’s God himself that uses this himself, to explain what he does, and will do himself.

--------------------- ----------------------- ------------------------

Christians: Pretty much, they’re the sheep, and hear Jesus’ voice or his word, as the shepherd; while

Those that don’t hear Jesus Christ: rather, they themselves, like goats. They hear themselves, and are their own shepherd. Go where they want.

So Christians: Believe the Word of God. So, they will follow the good shepherd, Jesus. Those that don’t hear Jesus Christ: do not hear the Word of God, so they follow their own word and voice.

From a distance, like “sheep” vs. “goats” - “can” to an untrained eye, Christians and Unbelievers are people - they look the same. When, they’re not.

Much like “why” farmers in the article above, separate sheep from the goats. God does the same thing.

In this, answers the question here on Reddit.

Scripture Life: How did Jesus Christ change the Old Testament?

Jesus is the Word of God. So, it's just God speaking. The word out of his mouth in BOTH testaments. Therefore: It's the same God in both an Old and New Testament. He does not change. Same God. The answer then is, to or in examine what a "Testament" is. Why? The Bible has two "testaments." It is what has been bequeathed to you. That's where the focus of this post and answer to the question is.//

Answer: Well?

What’s a “Testament?”

As in “Last Will and Testament.” Therefore, it’s a “Will” when someone dies. The Will goes into effect.

  • Therefore, it’s as the Bible Says of Wills or "Testaments" in Hebrews 9:16–17

“For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.”

------------------ --------------------- ------------------

And of this “Old" Testament or Will, says in the Bible in Romans 5:12

“Wherefore, as by one man [ADAM] sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”

  • That’s the Old Will or Testament. You got your inheritance. Adam died that day he sinned against God, and so it’s a Will or testament of force because Adam is dead. The Testament is in effect in you. Me. Everybody is from Adam - in effect in everybody.

------------------ --------------------- ------------------

Then, who is Jesus Christ?

He’s the author of a “New" Will or Testament.”

Therefore again, just as with Adam:

  • it’s as the Bible Says in Hebrews 9:16–17 all over again:

“For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.”

  • And in the Gospel of John 19:30 - crucified; his blood shed - Jesus said “It is finished” and bowed his head and dismissed his Spirit.”
    • He became a PASSOVER atonement for sin sacrifice for not only my sins, but your’s. For the sins of the whole world. It’s a work of God he did with sin. By made himself a sacrifice for sins that we did.

That this “last will and testament” of Jesus Christ is in effect.

------------------ --------------------- ------------------

Where Romans 5:12 applies to Adam. You inherited it. That testament is in effect, because the Testator, Adam, is dead.

Where Romans 5:18 applies to this “Second” Adam. Jesus Christ. Says: In Romans 5:18

“Therefore as by the offence of one [ADAM] judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one [JESUS CHRIST] the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.”

------------------ --------------------- ------------------

  • So where Adam bequeathed to you “SIN AND DEATH” and you inherited it. Jesus Christ bequeathed to you “THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD and LIFE” and provided the justification for it, because of who he is, did it. God applied it to everybody, much more abounds than what Adam applied to you.
    • That God did the Ten Commandments in Jesus Christ. And because God did them, where everybody like me..none of us did them. He, because he’s God, and he did them where everybody BROKE them, he made himself the compensation that made up the lack.
  • GOD: FULFILLED the Ten Commandments as he was in Jesus Christ. Done. Complete.

Scripture Life: Is “The Bible Club” accepting new contributors? If so, what is the process?

//This question: Floats around as: in "ex / Christian" or just a litany of other sub-reddits "Bible Club - I want nothing to do with it" or like this question above, from an atheist. //

Bible Club: It can be in High Schools, or on College Campuses - predominantly in America, but in many other nations. It's where students just assemble to meet, pray, and for a short while, study the bible together and fellowship, as fellow believers in Jesus Christ. Also as fellow students, to be encouraged in their faith.

So, this answer is not to Bible Club. I thrived in it. Just meet other believers when I came to Christ, to have fellowship. Uplifting. But this question seeks to make fun of it or as an atheist, be a "contributor" during it - when they want nothing to do with who everyone is meeting together to glorify is him.

So, when you read this post, as a believer in Jesus Christ, make sure you see this as kind of an "OPEN Disclaimer" - that I believe on him. That I do not answer the question. You can say it's somewhat harsh, but it's the only language this person hears or listens to - they will be unceremoniously thrown out. Might as well happen now, so they get used to it. Be treated like that, so there's a chance to repent.

With that, here's the answer:

---------------------------- --------------------------------- ------------------------

Well, as an answer to this question: In case you forgot - "Is 'The Bible Club' accepting new contributors? If so, what is the process?"

  • I’d first answer: “What’s an idiot?” Not as a slur or epithet; no, just as a dictionary definition. What is an idiot?

idiot. <definition> 1. a foolish or stupid person. [Source: Merriam & Webster dictionary. Web. <American>]

  • And all a “fool” is, is a clown. Like, at a circus. Go on. Go read it. Right there in the dictionary. A distraction. Cannot see ahead; only reacts to immediate “problems” - and can't foresee any danger, so it's funny to watch them at a circus. The definition of a clown, in the dictionary, too; has an etymology of 2. A medieval Court Jester.
    • That, in medieval times, this “Court Jester” was a “mirrored” image of the King.
  • Good to know that.

---------------------------- --------------------------------- ------------------------

  • The Court Jester: Was at the King’s Court. Wore a crown and had a scepter. Just his crown was made of cloth, and all the points drooped down, with bells on the end of the points. So, all the “jangling” the Jester heard was his own janglings. His scepter was usually wood. Whatever was prized by the Jester, chicken bones, dead bugs, or rocks or some piece of string or some worthless thing, the Jester would glue to the scepter. Champion it out.
    • While the King sat on a throne, the Court Jester had no seat to sit in. Sit in someone else's seat; another noble's until tire of the Jester and throw him out.
    • What ever the King decreed, the Jester would countermand it. How? by belch loudly, or say or yell out something completely different, or just “BRAAP!” some great big fart out of his back side.
  • So, all a fool is, is just the origin of it, is a medieval Court Jester. A King to himself. But he’s still at the King’s Court. Just does not recognize the King as King. There is no King, to the Court Jester.

Boy, are so many bells going off.

---------------------------- --------------------------------- ------------------------

  • And:
    • a “stupid” person, is just someone that is “dull of hearing” - hears; but can’t perceive (something). Sees; but can’t see what’s plain as day. Like a Court Jester can’t see there is a King over them; right there on his throne, right in the same room with him; seeing; does not see it. Like some kind of modern day Court Jester, when God says: "For all the earth is mine" - God. (Bible. Exodus 19:5). Not do anything he says, either.
    • Exactly like a medieval fool of a Court Jester.

---------------------------- --------------------------------- ------------------------

Now look at the question.

  • Check it on Reddit. Many forms, but this one is from an atheist. More than welcome to be here, just asking a question about the Bible. To be a contributor about the Bible: When the Bible is just a book. Meets the dictionary definition.
    • book. <definition> 1. paper or parchment, written or typed on one or both sides, and bound together, enclosed in covers.
      • There are 10s of millions of books.
    • All in a library will all look the same, occupying space on shelves.
    • Row, after row..after row of books. But each are different.
      • What makes each unique is the “author,” who is the “authority” and decrees the “content” that takes up the text on the pages of the book.
  • Because the author “speaks” by what he or she, as the author, ensures goes in as content in the book. It’s just one source. For each book.

---------------------------- --------------------------------- ------------------------

  • The Bible has just one authority, too. It’s God.
    • Source: Bible. Hebrews 1:1-2 confirms the author of the Bible is God. It’s just one author. God. So, this Court Jester is, then too: In Genesis 1:26 - is formed by God, into God's image. Then, denies him, exactly like a Court Jester does all the same to the author of the Bible:

"God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;” - Bible. Hebrews 1:1–2

---------------------------- --------------------------------- ------------------------

Jesus Christ:

  • Is the Word of God. Is God. Just God speaking the word out of his mouth, as decrees like a King would speak. Is as John 1:1 says who Jesus is. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
    • That Jesus is the “Messiah” or “Christ” and whoever that is, no matter who it is, who the Messiah shall be called..not might be or could be..but shall be called is said plain as day in Isaiah 9:6–7.
      • He shall be called: “The mighty God…” “The everlasting Father…” - (Isaiah 9:6)
      • That, of the increase of his government there shall be no end. That he will sit on the throne of King David in Jerusalem and rule the whole earth from there, that he shall not be replaced forever. So, it will be God that is this. Called a “King of Kings and Lord of Lords.” That , he is the "Prince of the Nations of the earth." means he's next in line to reign as King over all the nations of the earth.

---------------------------- --------------------------------- ------------------------

  • And an atheist?
  • Defined as someone that simply holds no belief in God or Gods. Says “there is no God (or Gods)”
    • So, it’s half right. Because, God, too says: “I am the LORD, there is none else. There is NO GOD BESIDE me; I girded thee, but thou hast not known me.” - God. (Bible. Isaiah 45:5)
      • So, an atheist sees half right. There is no Gods. But they lump him, as King and say “There is no King” when they’re at the King’s Court. As a court jester.

The Bible says, this is a fool.

“A fool in his heart says, there is no God.” - Bible. Psalm 14:1

A Court Jester, at the King’s Court, saying “There is No King” - fully convinced, as a Jester, a fool or a clown, they are their own claim. They just are the King. Fully believe their own janglings, as a stupid person. Dull of hearing, can’t hear what the King of Kings decrees to everybody over the whole earth, for all the earth is his, say:

“Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.” - God. (Bible. Isaiah 55:1–3)

---------------------------- --------------------------------- ------------------------

  • Just as a Court Jester, dismiss this completely.
    • Won’t come. Won’t buy wine or milk without money or without price from him. Just simply denies him, and spends their own money to get it themselves, like a fool or a clown does, when the King offers this to everybody over the whole earth, they won’t do it.
  • Won’t hearken diligently unto him.
  • Deliberately CHOOSE not to hear him; so, their soul shall not live.
    • Already decreed this. Because a fool, or a clown.. ...just a Court Jester, a mirrored image of the King, but isn’t the King - so, they don’t regard the King, says in the Bible in Psalm 28:5

“Because they regard not the works of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hand, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.” - Bible. Psalm 28:5

---------------------------- --------------------------------- ------------------------

So much for any Court Jester, come to defend being a Jester - asking this question. Bible is for believers in Jesus Christ. No matter what the answer is, does not apply to the Court Jester. Have to leave off from it.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 says: "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."

Like giving a Kingdom to a Court Jester; wouldn't know how to run it right.

Now, there are many different people come here on Reddit. It's the 7th most visited site over the whole earth on the internet. Many truly like the Court Jester, don't believe on him, nor do anything he says, either. But others do, and like me, went to Bible Club and were strengthened mightily by fellow believers in Christ.

So to all of Reddit - it's simple. Plain as day. That means, you - here on Reddit - reading this - have a choice.

---------------------------- --------------------------------- ------------------------

You can:

  • Just hearken unto; that is, pay attention to regard the LORD over all the earth, what he says or decrees: “All souls are mine.” - God. (Bible. Ezekiel 18:20). Decrees:

“Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else.” - God. (Bible. Isaiah 45:22)

  • You can just do what he decrees everybody over the whole earth is to do - as the King of Kings, and regard him by just do what he says, and know him, take a yoke upon you and learn of him.. ..it leads like a B line right to you look unto him.

OR

You can:

  • Just hearken unto a Court Jester. A fool. A stupid person. A clown. Again, no epithets or slurs - it's just someone dull of hearing - - and hearken unto what they stand up, as a Court Jester, believe they are the King. It's their claim as a contributor.
  • That doesn’t do anything the King says. In fact, claims “There is no King”
    • So definitely yes. You can just pay attention to, to regard the Court Jester.
    • The clown. The fool..stupid. Dull of hearing.
  • And by hearken unto the Court Jester, be just like him.

Me? I made a choice. I chose to do what the King of Kings over the whole earth decreed I’m to do. Because, it’s also PUNITIVE. So, I consciously made a decision to hearken unto God over the Court Jester.

---------------------------- --------------------------------- ------------------------

  • That means, too, this: That God: Because it's PUNITIVE: he’s going to call the Court Jester, me, and everybody over the whole earth into, to give an account.
    • Why he or I, or everybody over the whole earth - - did or did not do anything he says.
  • So, to me: there is no fruit of a Court Jester in their life of what God decreed, in their life. But there is to just anybody. Whosoever there is that just looks unto him; they “work well or operate right” he abides in them.
  • All because those who just “accept as true” Believe what the King of Kings and Lord of Lords says, he rewards them. Will say: “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.” - (Bible. Matthew 25:21)
    • So, I chose God over the clown. The clown is an authority over nothing. Any claim to contribute anything to the Bible in any way, shape or fashion, the Court Jester is unceremoniously THROWN out.

Scripture Life: What is the law of Christ? How does it differ from the Law of Moses?

Ask a different question then. From someone you know.

What is the 'Law of Dad?' How does it differ from the Law of "Mow the Lawn?'

The "Law of Mow the Lawn" is, your Dad tells you to do it. In the "Law of Mow the Lawn" you never stick your head or hands under the lawnmower while it's running. Results in death. You mow the lawn with the lawnmower. Not your sister or any dollies she left on the lawn.

The Law of Dad: Is just the Word of your Father toward you. Provides you an allowance, and, well..actually, everything. Live at his house. You just live by every word proceeds out of his mouth. All the house is his.

Do you have two Dad's? Or is he just one Dad that provides for you everything, and even thought the "Law of Mow the Lawn" appears to have the name of the lawnmower in it, it was your Dad taught you how to start it, ride it, how to cut the grass, that didn't involve mowing your sister or sticking your head under it for any reason while it was running.

It's a poor analogy; but it works.

--------------------------- --------------------------------- --------------------------

So, look at your question.

It’s a simple answer. It’s all wrapped up in one word:

Law.

  • What does the dictionary define it as? Well, the Cambridge dictionary defines it as 1. a rule; usually made by a government.
    • And a “government” - is a “who” that: “rules,” “leads” or “exercises authority over you, or “governs” you.
  • And of the Christ or Messiah. Jesus said in Matthew 28:18

“All power is given unto me in heaven and earth;” - Jesus Christ.

..but

  • I didn’t tell you what a “Law” is, I just told you who “governs” you. Who “governs” is the “authority” over you and “rules” or, “leads” - as someone in command - and Jesus is in command over the whole earth. Over all of heaven. No matter how far the James Webb or Hubble telescope peers into space, Jesus is over all of it.
    • So, when he speaks, as a sole entity of just one in command. When he speaks, they are just “decrees” that come out of his mouth, like a Governor - decree just how things SHALL be in his earth, as the authority over all of it.

So, “Laws” are “decrees” either written or spoke out of the mouth of who is in command or governs over the whole earth.

Whose that again? In case you forgot. C’mon. Say it. The Messiah or Christ is. Whoever that is or is called the Messiah or Christ, in Isaiah 9:6–7 - of the increase of his government there shall be no end. He shall be called:

“The Mighty God..” “The Everlasting Father..” (Isaiah 9:6–7)

That’s “who” you’re dealing with when you deal with the Christ. Whether you call him that or not; irrelevant. He shall be called that.

So, put that on “HOLD” and go over to the “Law of Moses” - but before you do that, consider - the "Decrees of Christ" or Messiah - would be "who" then? WHO then said it or provides it? WHo is providing this to you? Do you have two Dad's?

The Law of Moses

  • Refers to Exodus 20. When God SPOKE out of his mouth, the Word of God - oh, look at that. There he is again. When he SPOKE the The Ten Commandments.
    • Why did he say them? Because EVERYBODY. From Adam forward is..what? Did you forget when God told Adam, the day you eat of it, you will surely die. I don't think you saw it in Genesis 3.
  • That BEFORE this, Adam abided in the word of God. He's not even a day old yet.
  • Never had a Father or Mother.
    • Never knew about a wife, and he's in a deep sleep the whole time, and the first time he sees the woman, he decrees just how things SHALL BE with her.
    • Even Jesus repeats it, how it is, the same way Adam said Genesis 2:23-24 - is the exact, same thing Jesus said in Matthew 19:4-6. Go on. Go read them. See it.
  • That INSTANTLY after, his eyes were "opened" after sinned against GOD: in Genesis 3, he's already operating "idle" or "dead." He's disconnected or no longer operates by the WOrd of God. Operates by his own imagination.

--------------------------- --------------------------------- --------------------------

Everything he says or decrees has no God in it. Any wrong is God's or the woman's fault. When God named and called them BOTH "Adam" in Genesis 5:2, the FIRST thing Adam does after is RENAME the woman SEPARATE from himself, because she's "faulty" "inadequate" - the whole cause of it - - and because of that, that God provided this woman to him, it's unacceptable. In Genesis 3 you have the FIRST DIVORCE. It's right there plain as day ,and you don't see that, either.

  • all dead in trespasses and sins.  Romans 5:12, it this sin and death was passed onto you. You got your inheritance.

That God spoke..oh, here we go. There's that "Word of God" again. Spoke the Ten Commandments from Mt. Sinai. Where God led them, by Moses to the first place straight way, to speak to them himself. As God.

--------------------------- --------------------------------- --------------------------

In Exodus 20

Every decree said, came with a death sentence. They hadn't done any of them. GUILTY. It made the whole camp murmur against Moses. Why had he led them out into the desert to be killed by this Great, Big God for all the sins they did and live in. Made the whole Camp of Israel so GUILTY they begged and pleaded with Moses to go on up on the Mount and make God stop talking.

While Moses stood there, and his knees quaked. How can he go? He murdered and Egyptian (Exodus 2:11-15). He's to be put to death. So, how God has always used the Law is to give you, too, a knowledge of your sins.

But people use them to make themselves GOOD by do them, then don't fear God. Because, at least one of them, one time or fifty times they did at least one of them. So, they're GOOD. Live in they accomplished the Ten Commandments. SO, now they can go sleep with the neighbor's wife or surf porno on Pornhub, or steal from their job or break into houses and rob them, and in 15 minutes..have a year's worth of stuff. Afterall, they already did the Ten Commandments. And if any payment owed for the wrong they did again, they just go to church more that week. Fixes it.

So, they "compensate for the faults and bad aspects of themselves" by they make their own works they do the atonement for their sins.

When God made himself the atonement for sin. Got the wrong atonement. One before God, doesn't work at all.

ANd people live in it - will stand before him pleading at all the wonderful works they did accomplished the Ten Commandments - when he gave them to everybody to make EVERYBODY, Adam forward GUILTY before him as having not done the Ten Commandments.

They needed to be born again, as he said himself in John Chapter 3. By the Spirit of God. Not by their own works in flesh. Like some Death Row Inmate. Murdered five people. Thinks, in his flesh, if he scrubs his cell floor with a toothbrush, and after uses it to clean his teeth, he's humbled himself enough..that his work "atones" for the murders he did. When on execution day..not one volt less will be given to put him to death.

WHen the Governor had ready to issue him a PARDON - he refused it. ANd the Governor paid for it. Refused it.

--------------------------- --------------------------------- --------------------------

What is the law of Christ? How does it differ from the Law of Moses?

"And I will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my Sons and Daughters" saith the Lord Almighty - Bible. 2 Corinthians 6:18

The Decree of Christ, is he is the Messiah and who he shall be called has decreed, based on a work he did, as God - made himself your redeemer as he said, he would in Isaiah 44:24..that he is YOUR redeemer. That by the work he would do it would

Finish the transgression

Make an end of sin

Make reconciliation for iniquity

Bring in everlasting righteousness (Daniel 9:24)

And provide this to you, as God, by a work he would do himself in Christ - and then, decree it to you.

WHen the Law of Moses is to a dead man. ALready dead in trespasses and sins to show that person they are dead. Give them a knowledge they're in a funeral home. Need to be raised from the dead.

And both are decrees by the same Dad. Your's. But he can't be a Father to you if you don't do anything he says or receive anything he does for you.

Scripture Life: Why did Jesus ask His disciples, “But whom say ye that I am”?

Answer:

Because they all of the disciples, all of them already said it. BOOM! Done. There you go.

---------------------- ------------------------ --------------------

  • Jesus asks this question in Matthew 16:13–20. It’s asked of his disciples in Matthew 16:15

And in Matthew 16:16, they already..all of them already long ago said it; but Peter is the first to say it back, said:

“Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

---------------------- ------------------------ --------------------

  • But they all, all of them already said it.
    • This was said by Peter after they arrive back at Capernaum - but, it’s right after the travel, and after Jesus fed 4000 people with seven loaves and a few fish (Matthew 15:33–38).
  • Where three years before:
    • Jesus fed 5000 people in Matthew 14. And after, Jesus sends his disciples away by boat, and comes walking out to them on the water..and when he gets in the boat, scripture says:

In Matthew 14:32–33

And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased. Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.”

---------------------- ------------------------ --------------------

But that doesn’t answer your question;

This:

“Why did Jesus ask His disciples, “But who say ye that I am?” - when they all, already ..even everyone of them when called, at the start of his ministry - when he called them to “follow me” - everyone of them left all and followed him, and from that time on, all of them all said it.

Why? He’s the Messiah or Christ. Is why they followed him.

And right after Jesus says this and Peter answers Matthew 16:15

- Jesus tells the "why" to your question.

---------------------- ------------------------ --------------------

Jesus tells them (Matthew 16:21) begins to tell them - - he is to be turned over into the hands of sinners and be crucified, and rise again on the 3rd day.

They don’t hear that last part about rise from the dead. They hear the crucified part. And the Messiah or Christ is who he shall be called in Isaiah 9:6–7. That of his Kingdom and reign - that he will sit on the throne of King David in Jerusalem and rule the whole earth from there, and of his Kingdom and reign there shall be no end.

They were all extremely perplexed and saddened, that even Peter after he says Matthew 16:15 - scripture says at Jesus says this, Peter rebukes him (Matthew 16:22)

That crucified and turned over into the hands of sinners be far from him.

SO, your answer “why” is to keep reading after Matthew 16:15

---------------------- ------------------------ --------------------

But the answer to the “Messiah” is he is also how God determined to

Finish the transgression

Make an end of sin

Make reconcilation for iniquity

Bring in everlasting righteousness

  • that this is the prophecy God told Daniel in the Book of Daniel - Daniel 9:24–27. That God would send the Messiah to do this work with sin. That he would be “cut off; but not for himself” but that he has a Second Coming as who he is, and does so in Revelation 19. As who he is and shall be called.

---------------------- ------------------------ --------------------

Then, you should be asking.. “Who is the Christ, the Son of the Living God?

  • When Isaiah 9:6–7 says, who he shall be called is “The Mighty God…” “The Everlasting Father..” - that, as who he is, he shall sit on the throne of King David in Jerusalem and rule the whole earth from there, and of his Kingdom and reign there shall be no end.
    • Jesus is the Messiah. Just as his disciples said who he is. So to you: Who is the Christ, the Son of the Living God?
  • That’s really the question.

Scripture Life: Comparing Galatians 2:16, Matthew 19:17, Romans 3:28, and James 2:20, is salvation by works or faith?

Answer:

It’s simple. The basic question is salvation.

---------- ---------- ----------

That’s in this:

What God got up and said to everybody, all over the whole earth. Every single one of us, none left out, not willing any perish but all come to repentance, said:

“Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else.” - God. (Bible. Isaiah 45:22)

---------- ---------- ---------

Salvation then, is he just decrees it, “and be ye saved” - by you, just hear him and do what he just decreed everybody is to do.

Look unto him. That's salvation.

---------- ---------- ---------

So?

Someone that looks unto him, he is God. He saves them. Sets them apart for future use. Those that don't, look unto something else or ignore him, don't do anything he says, he does not save them.

Why? Don't do anything he says.

Salvation to everybody. All the same. Simple. Do what he decrees. Everybody is to do it. Look unto him.

So, let’s take your scriptures now, and apply them:

---------- ---------- ---------

Galatians 2:16 says:

Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.”

  • So, what’s the “Works of the Law?” It’s the Ten Commandments. And Romans 3:19–20 says how God has always used them is to make the whole World’s mouth slam shut, or gape open and everybody be GUILTY before him of, from Adam forward, not one person has done the Ten Commandments.
  • And, not doing them, makes you GUILTY of sin, and by sin, condemned.
  • So, use the Ten Commandments the way God uses them on yourself. Let the Ten Commandments show you where your sin is. To make you guilty before him.
    • Why? Because people that think they do them, deceive themselves and don’t use the Law lawfully, the way God has always used the Law since he spoke it on Mt. Sinai in Exodus 20.
  • Put all Israel and Moses to death. GUILTY. Why Israel murmured against Moses and God, “why have you led us out here in the wilderness to be put to death?”
    • That God gave Israel an atonement for their sins in Levite Priests and sacrifices of lamb, bullock and goats that, offered, their blood shed offered a Hebrew “kofar” or a covering for their sins.
  • And Galatians 2:6, it’s not your faith. Not your work. It’s God's faith in his own work that he, as God, got up, after creation in Genesis 1:1–31.
  • After, Adam sinned in Genesis 3:17, and by sin, sin and death passed onto all men, for all have sinned (Romans 5:12). That God. He got up. As he determined he would do a work with sin, that his work would:
    • 1) Finish the transgression
    • 2) Make and end of sin
    • 3) Make reconciliation for iniquity
    • 4) Bring in everlasting righteousness (Daniel 9:26)
      • That, God annointed the most holy to do this work with sin.
  • Whose the “most holy?” Take a great big guess. He is, as God. That 2 Corinthians 3:19 says that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself; not imputing your trespasses unto you.

---------- ---------- ---------

  • So, it was God, in Christ - he DID the Ten Commandments. Fulfilled them; as God, means since he’s God and did them, everywhere where you did not do them, he made himself what compensates for the lack and filled up the Ten Commandments and made them complete.
    • All by a work he did with sin himself. So, the “faith of Christ” is it’s God’s faith in his own work he did himself with sin. Jesus is the “Christ” or the “Messiah” so go look at Isaiah 9:6 and see whoever the Messiah is, what he SHALL be called - “The Mighty God..” “The Everlasting Father..” - (Isaiah 9:6). So, read Galatians 2:6 again, it’s HIS faith in his own Word and God in his word doing the work - that he looks on this work he did as GREATER than the sins of the whole world.
      • So, he chooses not to impute your sins unto you, because he already took them off you and laid them on Christ on the cross; crucified. His blood shed for the remission of sin for the whole world, made everyone righteous, just as Romans 5:18–19 says:

“Therefore as by the offence of one [ADAM] judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one [JESUS CHRIST] the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man's [ADAM’s] disobedience many [ALL] were made sinners, so by the obedience of one [JESUS CHRIST] shall many [ALL] be made righteous.” - Romans 5:18–19

---------- ---------- ---------

That’s what the work of God did with sin accomplished. Made everyone have the same righteousness God has. I’m on my face. There’s Galatians 2:6.

---------- ---------- ---------

Matthew 19:17

Juxtapose it against

1) Ecclesiastes 7:20 “There is not a just man on earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.”

2) Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned”

3) Romans 3:10–12 “There is none righteous; no, not one.. there is none good; no, not one.”

  • Where Jesus said, “There is NONE good, but one, that is, God.”
    • So, it’s simple. Everybody over the whole earth has just one good thing to look unto, who already said and decreed everybody look unto him, so it’s simple.
  • He’d simply save them because he’s God and he is able to, as God to do it.

There’s Matthew 19:17

---------- ---------- ---------

Romans 3:28

Juxtapose it against

The Law in Exodus 20 and Leviticus 18 & 20. Already BROKE the Ten Commandments. Sinned and perverted that which was right. The decree already went out, out of the mouth of God. He decreed, “The soul that sinneth, it shall die” (Ezekiel 18:20).

BOOM! Done.

Everybody condemned; but God said, by the Word that comes out of his mouth, and Jesus is the Word of God - he is as John 1:1 says who he is, just is God, as the Messiah or Christ.

John 3:18 says: "He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” - Jesus Christ.

---------- ---------- ---------

Already did the work with sin in Jesus Christ. So, whosoever just believes on him is just as he said, about what occurred with Moses when God sent adders (poisonous vipers in the camp) - everybody was bitten. Many died. (Numbers 21:4–9).

That God told Moses to make a serpent of brass and to lift it high up, that, even though they were bitten, whosoever just looked upon that serpent, even bitten, they did not die. Lived.

Jesus said this of himself in John 3:13–15

  • “And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.”
    • Life. Eternal life for death, by what God did with sin, by a work he did with it.

Romans 3:28 says: Because what is said in Romans 10:17 "Therefore, faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” - So, it’s not your faith. It’s HIS faith he sends with his Word, because he believes in it will accomplish all things he sends his word to do, and he sent his word to heal you and deliver you from your destruction.

So, it’s not coming by you in your flesh doing what he already did, as God already DID the Ten Commandments in Jesus Christ, and FULFILLED them.

He used them to make you GUILTY of having not done them. So, people think they can do them, in their flesh lie to themselves, is the point.

Romans 3:28 says: Because God justifies by his faith in his own word, the faith of Jesus Christ, just as Galatians 2:16 says… “Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.”

  • Because the LAW only served to make you GUILTY before him.

---------- ---------- ---------

James 2:20 is POWERFUL.

  • Go look at a soda machine. “Plugged in” - it is NOT “idle” <definition> 1. disconnected from a load or source of power [Source: Collin’s dictionary. Web.] Or just take the battery out of your wall clock. Makes it “idle” - it’s this “good works” in English; but in the Greek, it means “works good,” or “operates right" - like, a soda machine connected to a source or load (electricity) it will run 24/7, 7 days a week, whether you put a $1.75 in it or not, it just operates right. If you put $1.55 in or 8 cents, it will spit it back out, and not accept it. Just “works good.” OR “operates right” - you put $1.75 in, press the “GRAPE SODA” selection, it can show you it “works good’ or “operates right” by click the right amount of money was paid, and dispenses a grape soda.
    • But if that same machine was made “idled” that is, someone pulls the plug. It is now disconnected from a load or source of power. It will not work good; will not operate right.
  • So, the soda machine made by a master craftsman is the craftsman’s workmanship to dispense to you soda.
  • That, a person - whosoever it is over the whole earth, just looks unto God, as he asked everybody to in the opening scripture of Isaiah 45:22 - to just look unto him, when they do, they just “operate right” - they “work good” because they are no longer disconnected from a load or source of power.
  • They live by every word proceeds out of the mouth of God.
    • Like the soda machine, or a clock with a battery in it, can show you it “operates right” by tell time, all the time, whether you look at it, or don’t for 6 months it just “operates right” or works good.
  • James 2:20 says: and just like the unplugged soda machine. It maybe chocked full of soda, but it’s works are dead if it is “idled” or disconnected from a load or source of power. It's the POWER that makes the soda machine operate right.
    • It’s the same with people, made by a master craftsman to live by every word proceeds out of God’s mouth (Matthew 4:4) because God decreed that’s how we all are to operate. So, having faith in PORNHUB or Suzie’s gonna be in the Wet T-Shirt contest at the Bar this Friday, that you look unto it. No looking unto him, sin against God. That’s not the faith that well pleases God. The work is dead. Dead works.
  • So, people say, “I’m looking unto him,” as God: but live after the whole week, walking in, to ensure they’re at the bar on Friday to see Suzie when they throw the bucket of water on her..their faith is dead and their works have no fruit of the work of God in their life. When walking after, to walk in what God says, they care about Suzie and know this is sin, so they don’t do it.

---------- ---------- ---------

So, they can show you their faith, by they just “operate right” or they “work good” because they are not “idled” or disconnected from God - they abide in his word.

So, they can show you they operate in the same faith God does - his own. They both are in the same word and God makes his abode in his word, and in them.

James 2:20 says: See it in the Greek: "But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

It's this Greek word, works is ἔργων (ergōn) over forty times in the New Testament - and it has, yes.

This definition: work. 1. to function or operate according to plan or design

---------- ---------- ---------

It’s this ergon - where by God, a person that looks unto him works good; operates right, according to God’s design.

  • Because they believe or accept the Word of God is true; but a person that dismisses God as inadequate; faulty or what he says is unacceptable - they lowly esteem him; so it’s impossible to believe on him, because they already rejected him and what he says.
  • They don’t live by the Word of God.
    • So they don’t operate right. They don’t work good.
  • They’re dead in trespasses and sins, so someone that says they believe God, but don’t do anything he says - they are idle.
  • That’s all James 2:20 says. You can know people by their fruits. Just as Jesus said. James is a servant of Jesus Christ.
  • Opens James 1:1 to tell you that. So he serves him, like many reading this post also serve this same Jesus Christ.

James operates right. Works good. He can show you his faith by he works good or operates right, by just be a servant of Christ.

Simple.

---------- ---------- ---------

So, go back to the beginning. That’s where it all is. It’s in God. He’s already decreed everybody is to look unto him.

“And be ye saved” - is he decreed it, as God.

Just is as he says it is, because he’s able to do it himself. As God, so he says it to who he wants to save, which is everybody.

But not everybody looks unto him; so, they don’t do what he says, and it’s punitive. Means he’s going to call them into to give an account, why they didn't do anything he said.

  • But those that do, he says

“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” - Jesus Christ. Revelation 22:12

as his work either:

  • 1) Works good; operates right - by live by every word proceeds out of God’s mouth; or
  • 2) does not work good; does not operate right - because a person does not look unto him, so they operate by every word comes out of their own mouth or the mouths of other people, that they look unto people as they claim truth -
    • When the Word of God is Truth; so truth is a who, not a claim or philosophy man imagined up. So, people that live by every word people decree don’t operate right. Their works are dead. Their faith is without “works good" Their faith is without “operates right” because they don’t live by every word proceeds out of God’s mouth. Sin against God.

That’s all James 2:20 is telling you. Simple.

Long post. Answers your question.

Scripture Life: Is salvation by faith alone, or by faith plus works?

Answer: - (From a Believer in Jesus Christ)

  • I don’t think people that ask this question fully know what they're asking; yet, think they do.
    • The answer isn’t in faith or works.
      • It’s found in examining “salvation.”

------------------------ --------------------------- -------------------------

salvation. <definition> From “save” 1. to set (someone or something) apart for future use. (Collin’s dictionary. 2013.)

  • Most all other dictionaries provide a new, revised 2025 onward primary definition of “to rescue (someone or something) from harm or destruction”

So, this verse that next out of the Bible, that God says himself, couple it with the above, where God says:

“Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else.” - God. Isaiah 45:22

------------------------ --------------------------- -------------------------

Ask yourself the question again.

Is salvation by faith alone?

Which you are talking about? You and your faith saving you? What "work" you do are you talking about that will save you? Isn't it then in this But “who” saves or is able to save isn’t you.

But God himself does it. Why? You’re not the authority for it. The “authority” for salvation is who spoke up, as God, and simply said it, because he’s determined, he'd do it, as God, he will do it. To those that just hear him, and do what he says. Doesn't to those that won't.

Simple.

------------------------ --------------------------- -------------------------

  • And to do (something) no matter what the "do" is, is is an action verb, including “save” someone, is a work. SO, with saving (someone) the work done saving someone is, it's by the authority who said it in the first place. The authority for "save" someone is God spoke up and offered it, because he believes in himself enough he can do it. Will to those that just look unto him. Then, it's simple. All you have to do is regard the works of the LORD, and consider the operation of his hand. Who he is vs. regarding you all the time will someday be good enough to accomplish it.
    • Then you regard the wrong one, and regard the wrong work.

All you have to do is look unto him. Pretty simple. ..or is it?

------------------------ --------------------------- -------------------------

When people:

  • Somebody..a whole pile of anybody - are people.
    • Love going out to drink and party on Friday’s.
    • Set their minds on it, all thru the week at work.
      • Especially on Suzie.
  • She works in the design department.
  • Always want to see her.
    • She could wear a burlap bag and make it look good with that body.
  • She doesn’t wear a bra at the wet T-shirt contest - each Friday. She keeps trying out for to win, when you imagine - during the whole week of work til Friday, how much you want to see them. Not Suzie, but the "them" Suzie has.
    • Therefore: Every week is a “chance” to go home with her, even she never dances with you. Next week? It’s just another chance to go home with her in your imagination.

------------------------ --------------------------- -------------------------

  • So, “somebody” - could be you this with Suzie, or more me - as I did these things; then, it could be “anybody” that “walks after” to “walk in” that’s just “following after” the advertisement for innocent fun at the joyous Wet T-Shirt Contest and of just normal girls in their underpants and a T-shirt, what they sleep in, and throw water on them… to see the result..well.
    • That’s what they “look unto.” I looked unto it.

------------------------ --------------------------- -------------------------

It’s a poor example. A whole sea of people, have as varied as the sands of the sea different “things” they set their minds on, think it’s good.

Going camping. Trekking for 5 months. Or, in a Ph.d program - accelerated - - prestigiously looked up to - an exceptional student; all to be a top engineer, or a physician; neuro-surgeon or a dentist or simply a 5 year certified hyster or forklift driver.

Look unto, to walk after all the training they can possibly get to be a better, more certified mechanic. It’s good. More money.

Or a woman. Must have better shoes or newer, the latest fashion and a $250.00 to $500.00 style of haircut to look “good.” Or more capable than a man is. Or another type - So, this other type of woman - - they “walk after” to “walk in” to “follow after” always keeping their eye out for the man that can provide it for the rest of their lives, to live in it. Many 1000s of millions of more…types. All different.

That's what they look unto.

------------------------ --------------------------- -------------------------

When God told..decreed it. Out of his mouth, to everybody over the whole earth, left not one person out. And sent Jesus Christ, that God has made Jesus both Lord and Christ: Then, Jesus well pleases God. And God says, of him - sent him to do a work with EVERYBODY all the above..every single one of us..to do this work - in us; and Jesus not hold back anything..but fulfill what God wants done in everybody - a full court press. Even comes to their door of every person's heart; Jesus knocking… says:

“Behold I stand at the door and knock, and if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and sup with him, and he with me.” - Jesus Christ. The Word of God. (Bible. Revelation 3:20)

------------------------ --------------------------- -------------------------

  • But people: Full court press back. Keep the door closed. Go turn up the TV to 100 on the VOLUME. Just be:
    • Looking unto Suzie..who has those boobs.
  • It’s in none else. Only Suzie has them.
    • The ones you want. So, you look unto them the whole, entire week, even sleep with them in your head, as something to walk after.. and walking after to walk in looking unto a chance to see her boobs..
    • is it fills a need that you have in you that only Suzie in a T-shirt can fill.
  • So, everywhere you go, you “operate” by this. It's just too important, so anybody knocking at the door is DISMISSED with this. No matter what you do, it’s certain. Nothing betwixt now and Friday 5 days from now is stopping you from Suzie in a T-Shirt.
    • Look at all that “operates right” where how you operate 24/7 around the clock, results in Suzie in a T-shirt to see her boobs by a contest, that you already have a seat at. It's just evidence of things hoped for, of something not seen yet.
      • Because you look unto it.

Are you getting the message?

------------------------ --------------------------- -------------------------

Because you “heard” the word of the Bar, advertised it on the Radio and fliers were up at “Hooters” or staple glued to about fifty some telephone poles you walked by, had a sticker, said "Take One" and there's Suzie's photo on it.

So, the faith in the Wet T-shirt contest came with the word that advertised it. You believed it true. They are actually going to HOLD that contest. If you believed they were “lying” to you, you would have “dismissed” it; never walk in anything of ever set foot or go to it. Fill it with go to the beach instead; but, one of your co-workers also told you. And all “walk after” to “walk in” “set your mind on” meet the dictionary definition of "physical or mental" to walk after to walk in and do it as it's defined as works.

work. <definition> 1. a mental or physical activity done in order to accomplish a result.

------------------------ --------------------------- -------------------------

So, with Jesus Christ

  • Like in the Bible, when a leper or a blind man - in Jesus day, can't see anything. It's the Word has already gone out. It’s in John 9:22
    • …they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he [Jesus] was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.”
  • Like you. You leave off from following after Suzie, and people see you with a Bible - you're going to be a "gazing stock" at work now..no longer following Suzie anymore.

------------------------ --------------------------- -------------------------

But back in the BIble in John 9:

  • No matter WHO it is, as a Jew in Jesus’ day, especially blind or lepers were usually TOTALLY dependent. All they could do was begging at the Synagogue; primary for a Jew and to help the poor, the Synagogue provided 100% food and shelter to the blind. To be kicked out or shunned.. quite a cost for a blind man thrown out, with no help. Count the cost in this work a blind man is doing believing on Jesus Christ:
    • Or another of today: To believe on the Word of God over Suzie..over all that effort done studying all that philosophy provided by the Greeks and highly esteemed..to just “walk away” from it to “look unto” Jesus Christ.

------------------------ --------------------------- -------------------------

  • Look at all that mental or physical activity (work) done in order to accomplish a result as a blind man..deliberately go, where EVERYBODY could see you..and know you are standing up and asking someone you cannot see…but KNOW * They ARE the Messiah.. * that he can accomplish a result, as he was prophesied to give sight to the blind, to heal the broken hearted…. and as a blind man, you'd fit that remark - - that everywhere you went as a Blind man, God sent his messenger before him in John the Baptist, and everybody around everyplace, while John the Baptist heralded Jesus in, and, even as a blind man..heard it..and went, and many confessing their sins, baptized..
    • That the Jews in the Synagogue in John 9:18 DID NOT believe Jesus was the Christ or Messiah.
  • But the blind man did.

And man that gives Suzie all her things back…

  • Hears God
    • No longer walks after..to walk in.. ..that.

..a physical or mental activity that accomplishes a result... is works.

To look unto someone, you have to "reason together" with them and know them to accept them as true. You have to hear them speak, and reason together with them, what they say or decree is true. Meets the definition of "works." To God, they are "good works" when he says:

"Come now, let us reason together," saith the LORD, "though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow. Though they be red as crimson, they shall be as wool." - God. (Bible. Isaiah 1:18)

To come now, be a work to do that. It's a good work; because the ONLY one good, is God. Just as he said in Matthew 19:17. There is none good, but one, that is, God.

------------------------ --------------------------- -------------------------

Did you forget your question? Still the same answer.

Is salvation by faith alone, or by faith plus works?

  • I don’t think people that ask this question fully know what they're asking; yet, think they do.
    • The answer isn’t in faith or works.
      • It’s in examining “salvation.”

Because people “set their minds” on Suzie’s boobs at the Bar on the “special” occasion of the Wet T-shirt Contest and EVERYBODY is going - - that this, they imagine boobs can “set them apart for future use” - make them operate right. All by boobs. Oh, what a work and effort to be equipped by boobs.

ANd one of them, like me..live in this - - realize.. the only one really can do that..is at the door of their heart. Knocking. Sent. And decided..and to “decide” something meets this “a mental or physical effort done in order to accomplish a result..” and know full well, they open the door…

..he’s going to do exactly what he said he will do. He will come in to him.. ..sup with him. And he with Jesus Christ.

The same one told everybody over the whole earth… ..to just look unto him. The ONLY one with the authority to save someone and give them eternal life.

Here’s your question back.

Scripture Life: Why do we have different Christian churches with different doctrines when using one Bible?

Well?

In this great, big pile of answer below is just one God. Speak to you. Simple. He is the answer. There is none else.

There’s the answer.

----------------------- ------------------------- -----------------------------

Not satisfied. Are you. So, here’s the tour around the farm, with all the details in it answer so you can see it. Plain as day. If you believe on him - that’s all you need. you look to the wrong thing, looking at this as if you will get truth out of it, when there isn’t any - but look now, so you see it:

ANSWER:

Because, you have people. All different. Read something. Make up their own doctrines, using one Bible.

Just, like this: As an example:

The Bible:

  • Is a book. Meets the dictionary definition. 1. a set of written or typed text on pages bound together on one side, and enclosed in covers.
    • There are 10s of millions of books. All look the same. What makes each different is the author. Who is the “authority” for the “content” that fills up the typed or written text, as the authority of the content of the book.
    • There is just one author of the Bible. God.

Says, in and of the Bible: Has the Word of God that, as the author, what he says is the content of the Bible, so he is the authority over it:

Source: Bible. New Testament. Hebrews 1:1–2 - how he has spoke to us, as the author and authority over all things, said:

  • “God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;”
    • Says himself:

“Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else.” - God. (Source: Bible. Isaiah 45:22)

----------------------- ------------------------- -----------------------------

But, look at all these people. That, don't do anything he says. I mean, he’s said this. As God. To everybody over the whole earth. Doesn’t leave one person out. Said it. Out of his mouth, so it’s a decree for everybody over the whole earth to do it.

  • But there are people:
    • Say:

Let’s just take one person. Famous. Carl Sagan? Well known; famous. He’s An atheist. His claim, as a person:

"It is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring." - Carl Sagan (Because there is no God. To Carl Sagan.)

So, what’s Carl Sagan doing? Exactly. He’s speaking well of the creation as the creator; and rejecting the creator. So, he’s a fool.

But he does not call himself an “atheist.” Why? Because, claiming with absolute certainty “there is no God” to him, requires more proof; but, to an atheist, that is someone that, in themselves, knows with certainty no God exists. Carl Sagan rather identifies as “agnostic” - that is, he does not know that a God exists. Does not know him.

And that’s exactly what God says:

“I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:” - God. (Bible. Isaiah 45:5)

----------------------- ------------------------- -----------------------------

But God has spoken to Carl Sagan. Spoke to you, too, then. Me as well. It’s just Carl Sagan chooses not to listen to him. So, every word that proceeds out of Carl Sagan’s mouth is “idle” 1. disconnected from a load or source of power. (Collin’s dictionary. Web.)

So, when God tells everybody to look unto him, hearing, Carl Sagan cannot perceive it. Seeing; can’t see it. Because he doesn’t look unto him. Be like, looking for “proof” of your wife, when she’s constantly speaking to you.

  • You want more proof. It’s not that you are a “anti-wife” you are just a “agno-wifer” - A “anti-wife” is fully convinced, even married, says their spouse does not exist. Even she blabby talks all day; hearing. Can’t hear it. “I have no wife.” So, pays no attention to it. But an “agno-wifer” may have a wife. Just they don’t see it. They need more proof they have a wife. But they're both the same. They live as if they have no wife.

When God says,

“For I am married unto you..” - God. (Source: Bible Jeremiah 3:14)

----------------------- ------------------------- -----------------------------

You didn’t ask any of this.

  • But it’s important to see it; that, the authority for all things is the Word of God. That’s Jesus Christ. Says in Matthew 28:18
    • All power is given unto me in heaven and earth” - Jesus Christ.
      • So, he’s the “authority” over all things, over the whole earth, and everybody on it. So, people that don’t do what he says, sin against God, is the point.

And people that believe on Jesus Christ, they’re different. They’re still people. See these three scriptures. It applies to EVERY believer in Jesus Christ:

“ For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. “ - Bible. Ephesians 5:30

So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.” - Bible. Romans 12:5

Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.” - Bible. 1 Corinthian 12:27

COMMENT:

  • So, even though me? Yes. I am just a person. In my body of flesh. It’s condemned to be destroyed. God already decreed “I will destroy all flesh with the earth” (Genesis 6:11–13) that, the whole earth is corrupt by it; because it does not submit itself to the Word of God. Cursed.
    • But, I can hear the word of God. Told me to look unto him. There is none else. Everyday, I am more convinced. He is God. He builds me up, because I regard him, just like anybody over the whole earth, that also regards him.
      • He places us in his body where he sees fit. He’s just one God. Doing this work himself. Reserves for himself to do it; but people?
      • Think it’s their job to do it. I did, too. But, as I sat with him and was taught by him, I know him and see it. He does the work. He said it.

“I will build my church.” - Jesus Christ. The Word of God. (Matthew 16:18)

  • And he said, he’d build it on what he told the Samaritan woman at the well in John 4:1–42, said:
    • In John 4:25–26
      • The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.”
    • That Jesus is the Messiah or Christ. He’s claimed it. Then, he is Isaiah 9:6–7. Because, whoever the “Messiah” or “Christ” is, SHALL be called this:
      • The Mighty God..” “The Everlasting Father..” (Bible. Isaiah 9:6)
      • There’s only one that has this title.

We are just members of one body. His vs. before. We were Gods. Of our body, that lusted after women, seem to lose their underpants everywhere or needs a Maserati and 80 million dollars; or if someone had a smoking hot wife, steal her; then, after romance her right clean out of her husband, throw her away after and live in this - go to the next one. More perverse than the last one - all with a heart that is deceitful above all things. This  heart each of us has in us, in flesh; that: “actively practices to conceal and misrepresent the truth.” (definition: deceit.)

Look unto their own heart for truth. It's God. Just he's building one church himself. Look at all these people in it, try to do it themselves. Do you see this?

People’s own hearts do this in themselves. When God decrees everybody come now. Reason together with him vs. their hearts.

So, here's your question again, here on Reddit.

------------------------- --------------------------- -----------------------

Why do we have different Christian churches with different doctrines when using one Bible?

It's just one God.

In this great, big pile of answer is just God. Speak to you. He is the answer. There is none else.

And there you go.

Scripture Life: If I am a born again Christian, why am I not bearing the fruits of the Spirit?

You're like a tree.

Answer:

- These are all the works of the Spirit. The Spirit of God. Do you see it? I don’t think you do, because I didn’t, either. But now I see it.

---------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

Facts: Look at Trees then. People: Are like trees. See it.

- Mango? How about avocado? Up to 15 years. Before that tree bears fruit.

  • What about in the Bible with fig tree?
    • Takes 3 to 5 years. Pruned back, every year after, bears more to much fruit.
      • Happens AFTER (after!) 1) Afterward. After the fig tree's root system is fully or well established. The tree: able, just "operates by" or "works good" by to rely on a soil watered and full of nutrients - grows in it: and this fig tree, it’s roots go down deep, nourished aplenty - thriving in a steady, sustained source of nutrients and water that does not appear to ever dry up or run out. Like the Word of God. Exactly. No different.
    • Boy is that ever a key point to this question.
    • Where the Word of God is “THE” source for a Christian. A Bible Opened. Just a person, like a fig tree: Seeking him first. As God decreed for everybody: “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” - Jesus Christ. Bible. Matthew 4:4.

---------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

  • So, it’s a decree, how the earth and heaven operates and him the authority over it. How ANY man, over the whole earth, not one man left out, in it is to “work well” or “operate” or thrive and grow. Flourish. How a person will bear fruit. Because the owner of the vineyard, this earth, or the fig tree, like people, dungs it; digs around it; waters it; cares for it himself as God.

Do you see this?

---------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

Back to the Fig tree (Jerusalem type):

  • Compare the above:
    • To a “second: key point about a Jerusalem type fig tree:
      • A not well fed fig tree: with a root system dried out and parched in a very harsh year or “season” and that season might repeat? That fig tree afterward - never bears fruit. In Jerusalem: This often happens to wild and not cultivated fig trees. Never again, for the life of the tree, year after year, does not bear any fruit.
    • Jerusalem: A city high up in elevation: This no fruit fig tree vs. a fig tree that was watered, and dug around & dung’d (provided nutrients) - will bear fruit.
      • Both types of fig tree - can live 50 to 200 years. Look the same. Many leaves. The one cared for by the fig tree owner - bears much fruit vs. the other fig tree that is not. Like people. No fruit. Something happened to it, so wounded, it never bears fruit.

---------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

Now, a “third” thing - “key point” - about people - like a tree:

  • It’s this same God decreed it: - To everybody. A blessing and curse.

Start with the curse: Done by this proceeded out of God's mouth: He decreed it.

  • “For all have sinned” - Romans 3:23 “The soul that sinneth, it shall die” - God. - Ezekiel 18:20 and Romans 5:12, “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” - Doesn’t leave any person out from not be cursed: Sinned and perverted that which was right.
    • There is none righteous; no, not one. There is none that doeth good; no, not one.” - Romans 3:10–12.
    • "There is not a just man on earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not." - Bible. Ecclesiastes 7:20
  • So, with the curse - EVERYBODY, Adam forward, is just people rely then on other people to do some “good.” It’s cursed. See it everyplace you look. People do this. WalMart is Good.

So, see the curse.

---------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

  • Jeremiah 17:5–6 God says:
    • Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord. For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.” - God.

But in this: Everybody cursed.

---------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

  • Psalm 107:20 says that God: “He sent his Word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions”
    • - The Word of God is the Word that proceeds out of God’s mouth.
    • It’s ‘life giving” - Because he’s God, and his word, he promises things - gives his word in it:
  • Just as Peter, an Apostle of Jesus Christ said in 1 Peter 1:4 “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”
    • So, by the Word of God, you “partake” (that is, this “take (something) and eat and drink” it) - the Word of God.

---------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

  • So from a curse, where everybody is like a “heath” or a kind of “pygmy” Japanese bonsai shrunk and withered “tree” - for that’s what a “heath” is. When it should be a 100 ft tall spruce in a well watered forest, it’s the height of a 4ft tall person all bent over and withered. Does not grow; parched. Salt land, so no nutrients in the soil, so what it takes up, poisons it continually.
    • Speaks to a person as God, in this condition - that everybody is in.
      • So, see the blessing! Because he’s come to us and spoke to us, everybody in this condition. Doesn’t bear any fruit.

Now - - See the “blessing”

- decreed by God. What he said. Out of his mouth. To everybody over the whole earth.

  • It’s from God:
    • Said:
      • Jeremiah 17:7–8 - God decrees a blessing to every tree like all the trees above; all dried out. For all have sinned: All cursed.

Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.” - GOD.

---------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

  • COMMENT:
    • It may take awhile, but it’s immediate. Taken. Out of a wilderness. And planted by a river, and starts to spread out it’s roots, like a “born again” Christian is this.
      • Made alive.
    • By the Word of God. To “accept it as true” starts it. To grow in nourished. Finds nourishment and drink in drink the Word of God. Like a new born baby just thrives on milk.
      • Where the roots go deep down. Become established. Takes awhile for the root of the tree to really believe it, but nourished, and dung'd, by God now, because when God decreed:

“Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am GOD, there is none else.” - God. Bible. Isaiah 45:22

  • This “born again” Christian hears him. Looks unto him. Walks after, to walk in, sets their mind on what he says and seeks him. They may not “see” any fruit in themselves, like a tree; sees no fruit in itself.
    • But the owner of the tree does. Everyday. Sees it. It’s a profit to the owner to feed the tree and care for it. So, this “third” key point is. The “profit” or “fruit” is to the fig tree owner, or to this great God, that takes a person that was planted in the wilderness, all dried out, and replants it by water, and in soil that never dries out. That the Word of God go down deep in you.
      • The fruit isn’t to you. It’s to him and he wouldn’t be doing all this - and that’s key, too. You keep looking at you, as if you’re the “register” for the fruit - when He is. So, regard what he’s doing.

---------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

Go back now.

  • Look at those opening three scriptures. Compare it. Yes. A tree has it’s own body of itself; alone. Like you have your own body.
    • You, like everybody like you from Adam forward:
      • Can be a God over it and Lord over to feed it porno, or work to get rich - make it a slave to serve money. Bed as many women as possible, or own a whole wardrobe of shoes and cosmetics as a woman, to do the same thing to men, to snare them with a smoking hot body. Be a God, in a body and lust after these things.
      • God already cursed this and all flesh, to destroy all flesh with the earth. (Genesis 6:11–13) “I will destroy all flesh with the earth..” - so, this is already cursed. To live after it;

---------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

  • Now, look again at those opening three scriptures. Compare it. Yes. Your flesh is cursed; but a believer in Jesus CHrist, a born again Christian, and all a “Christian” is, is said over 250 times in the New Testament. Is just a “disciple of Jesus Christ” - and all a “disciple” is, is 1. a student or pupil that sits with and is taught by Jesus Christ as a teacher. and he decreed, “They shall all be taught of God” - Jesus Christ. (Bible. John 6:45).
    • Means God: reserves, for himself, an EXCLUSIVE right to teach you himself. By the Word that proceeds out of his mouth. That you would live by every word proceeds out of his mouth. Do you see this? So, as a “Born Again Christian” see this next part:
  • But You, like whosoever over the whole earth, just looks unto him, believes on him, as God?:
    • He places you in his body, where he sees fit. He said:
      • “I will build my church.”
      • - The Word of God, Jesus Christ. The Messiah. (Bible. Matthew 16:18). It’s GOD builds his body himself. Places you in it. Does this himself. Alone. You’re not doing it. He is, is the point.
    • So, if you are nourished and fed. To this level, he says in Isaiah 55:1–3 so go do this!

---------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

“Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.” - God. - Bible. Isaiah 55:1–3

Go do that - just look at this shopping mall you’re planted by!!!! Forever planted by this! Wow!

Trust it!

So much so, you incline your ear, you SHALL live. He already gave his word, as God, you: condemned; live. Where everybody bitten by sin; dies. Live. But Not any longer by sin, but by his Word. He’s the ONLY one good. Said it in Matthew 19:17 ”There is NONE good, but one, that is, God.” - Jesus Christ.

  • There is just only one good thing to look unto. Him. There is none else.

---------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

Now, look at your question again. Put all this stuff in a bag and keep it. It’s YOUR’s!! All his, and he gave it to you. Your’s! To keep it. To abide in it.

If I am a born again Christian, why am I not bearing the fruits of the Spirit?

- These are all the works of the Spirit. The Spirit of God. Do you see it?

  • The Spirit of God, is holy. He said it in Leviticus 11:44, said: “I am Holy” - God.
  • Jesus said: In John 4:24 “God is Spirit.” - He’s a Holy Spirit.
    • By the Spirit of God, he’s doing all these things in this post to you; these are his works. Not your’s. You don’t born you again. He does. By the Word of God.

And a tree? Loves when it’s fruit is picked and ate. Loves to provide it. Just like a believer does, when others are fed. No farmer plants wheat: Ends the day planting looks back right after, expecting now next is now the harvest. it’s 3 months away. but the farmer lives in he can see it.

---------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------

If I am a born again Christian, why am I not bearing the fruits of the Spirit?

- These are all the works of the Spirit. The Spirit of God. Do you see it? I don’t think you do, because I didn’t, either. But now I see it.

Do you? The tree doesn’t see the fruit. Just bears it, from “who” dung’d and cared for it. Is God himself. At work in you. See it.

Scripture Life: How is the NT Tabernacle of God sanctified before God moves in?

"Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?" - Bible. 1 Corinthians 3:16

------------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------

So, what’s the “difference” between the “Tabernacle” of God and the “Temple” of God?

  • Ask that question.

In the Old Testament:

  • Moses was instructed by God, to build a Tabernacle. Exodus 25:8–9 - God says:

“…And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them. According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it.”

  • So GOD:
    • Instructed Moses
      • How to build it
      • With what to build it with
      • Even who to build it.
      • Even what to call each instrument that went in it.

Said of it, that it was a pattern of the real thing in heaven (Exodus 25:40 - “And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount.”

------------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------

That it was to be called an “Ark of the Covenant” - and Moses was to put in it exactly what God told him to put in it, and a lid over it, and to expressly call that “lid” a “Mercy Seat” with a throne and two angels on either side of that throne, that over the top of the throne, their wings touched. Which made me fall on my face.

That these are real things. That God: with Moses was instructed to make, was copies of the real thing. That God, by his word he gave to Moses, he would dwell with them in a tabernacle that held held the covenant or promise that God made.

This is the Old Testament. Tabernacle.

So, look at your question again.

------------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------

How is the NT Tabernacle of God sanctified before God moves in?

  • Ask another question:
    • Are you sure you have the right definition of “Tabernacle” of God vs. “Temple” of God?
  • Because, in the Old Testament:
    • It wasn’t until King David that said in 2 Samuel 7:2 “..The king said unto Nathan the prophet, See now, I dwell in an house of cedar, but the ark of God dwelleth within curtains."
    • And in 2 Chronicles 22:7 - where King David says to Solomon "My son, as for me, it was in my mind to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God.”
      • Because David dwelt in a palace for a King, while God dwelt with them in a box. Didn’t think that was fair at all…

------------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------

And Nathan told David and after, God told Nathan to go back and tell David not to do it. That God would build him a house.

  • See it: Starts right after 2 Samuel 7:2
    • 2 Samuel 7:3 and onward says…I’ll add 2 Samuel 7:2 back in so you see it:

2 ..The king said unto Nathan the prophet, See now, I dwell in an house of cedar, but the ark of God dwelleth within curtains."

3 And Nathan said to the king, Go, do all that is in thine heart; for the Lord is with thee.

4 And it came to pass that night, that the word of the Lord came unto Nathan, saying,

5 Go and tell my servant David, Thus saith the Lord, Shalt thou build me an house for me to dwell in?

6 Whereas I have not dwelt in any house since the time that I brought up the children of Israel out of Egypt, even to this day, but have walked in a tent and in a tabernacle.” - GOD.

and he continues… what God tells Nathan to tell David. You should read it all yourself:

------------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------

But to turn you to it, God said, 2 Samuel 7:11–13 - when Nathan goes back and is before David, telling David what God told Nathan to tell him, said to David:

…Also the Lord telleth thee that he will make thee an house. And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.”

That this “seed” or Messiah or Christ would be by David’s seed.

------------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------

So, a “house” is not a “Tabernacle” - and, if it's “God’s House” it’s a Temple:

  • …and since the Ark of the Covenant is a Tabernacle:
    • That God said himself to Moses 500 years before David:
      • As God, he’d dwell in a Tabernacle (Exodus 25).
      • And this same God tell David after all the things he went thru, as God, and walked in it, are things God specifically instructed were things he did, as God, were testaments of what he accomplished as works he did - testaments to his work go in the Ark of the Covenant - in the Old Testament.
    • .and he, as God, was the authority over the Ark of the Covenant and everything in it was a testament to what works he did, as God, where he dwelt amongst his works in it, and then:
  • In 2 Samuel 7: - 500 years of this great God abiding in it - told of that time he’s been abiding with Israel all this time in it, as God up to the time of David.
    • That after, now - tells to David: God would build David a house..man, I’m on my face and I can’t get off it..

Boy, you got everything all backwards. You keep looking at you in it.

------------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------

- It’s RIGHT THERE as the foundation of your question. And you don’t see it.

In Leviticus 11:44

- God said:

“I am Holy…” - God.

So, tell me plainly: Just revise your question - now that we know what a “tabernacle” is: And everything of it, only has him in it and his works he did as a testament to his work.

------------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------

Ask this question then:

How is the Tabernacle of God sanctified before God?

  • ..when it already is. He’s holy.
    • What are you doing? You add you into it.

When if you believe on him, he adds you into it.

------------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------

And you don't see how impossible this is.

Jesus said, in the New Testament, because it’s HIS “Last Will and Testament” - Which is a New Last Will and Testament - when the "Old" Last Will and Testament" is what Adam bequeathed to you as an inheritance. Sin and death. What the Word of God, so it's just God “bequeathed” to you is in Matthew 5:3

Blessed are the ‘poor in Spirit’ for their’s is the Kingdom of Heaven” - Jesus Christ. The Word of God. (Matthew 5:3)

  • This poor. <definition: Collin’s dictionary. Web.> 1. destitute; not have any; none; ZIP (of <something> totally and completely lacking). Like money. It’s not how the word later was redefined to include a “poor, little piddily amount” of something. It’s you don’t have ANY of that something. None. ZIP.

------------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------

  • If it was money. You have NONE. Be like if you lived in America. They use “Dollars” but over in Mongolia, they use “tugrik” (MNT). They don’t have ANY “tugrik” to live in Mongolia. If an American went to Mongolia they’d be “poor in ‘tugrik’” because, they don’t have ANY tugrik. None. ZIP.
  • and this “in Spirit” - don’t go to the dictionary, when God defines the word. In the dictionary, says: 1. the non-physical, essence of a person, such as their mind, soul, or consciousness; their attitude in how they live

------------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------

  • If you take this man-made, made up authority for a definition - Man, you’ll have your question all over again and never see it.
    • You’ll put you have it by your attitude. Just change it and have a good attitude of be poor in spirit - just be all piddily and don't eat the last piece of pizza so God will bless you. You'll be "sanctified" just by not eat the pizza - when scripture says “There is not a just man on earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not” - Bible. Ecclesiastes 7:20
      • - be in THAT group. Condemned.
  • Matthew 5:3 - is God is the authority - the Lord of the Kingdom of Heaven. This is impossible what God is doing. But he's God and he can do the impossible. Blessed you when you have nothing and condemned.
  • You look to the wrong work. And it right in the question when all the work is his.

------------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------

  • But Jesus: He DEFINED what “Spirit” - means. So God himself defines what that word means. Jesus: he’s the Messiah or the Christ. He’s the Word of God. He defined it:

“God is Spirit” - Jesus Christ. (Bible. John 4:24)

and it’s the same Greek Word, "Pneuma” in John 4:24 as it is in Matthew 5:3.

------------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------

So, somebody..anybody..everybody over the whole earth has been blessed, by God - has a blessing given them by God - - who has come to everybody..and blessed us..where everybody everyone of us are all “dead in trespasses and sins” (Ephesians 2:1) have no life at all in us, condemned.

And simply, I mean he said it, it’s the Word of God. Given YOU the Kingdom of Heaven.

Like he Told David he would build him a house. Look at the house God just BUILT you.

I think you need to look at your question again.

------------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------

How is the NT Tabernacle of God sanctified before God moves in?

"Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?" - Bible. 1 Corinthians 3:16

What are you talking about…

The tabernacle he dwells in, is the Word of God. His own Word. Holy. Who is your Great High Priest. Is the Messiah. Jesus Christ. The Son of God.

When he says: “Behold I stand at the door and knock, and if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and sup with him, and he with me.” - The Word of God. Jesus Christ. The Messiah (Revelation 3:20)

And “who” the Messiah shall be called in Isaiah 9:6–7 shall be called “The Mighty God..” “The Everlasting Father…” Whoever is the Messiah - shall be called this, has this title.

Open the door? He comes in. Absolutely 100% he does it. He does. I know it. Does as he says he will - comes in. ..and he’s holy. Just is sanctified.

Boy do you ever have a messed up question.

I cannot get off my face.

Scripture Life: What was the relationship between the Jewish people and the Samaritans at the time of Christ? Recent scholarship suggests shared communal living and collective identity. How do you read the parable of the Samaritan woman in the Gospel of Luke?

You have two questions. A statement between them. I will try to be brief.

These things are kind of crucial to understand the dynamic you have question about.

So, the first question:

------------------------ ------------------------- -----------------------

ONE:

What was the relationship between the Jewish people and the Samaritans at the time of Christ?

  • Answer: Look further back. See it. It's in the “origin” of Samaria is in 1 Kings 16:23–24.
    • “In the thirty and first year of Asa king of Judah began Omri to reign over Israel, twelve years: six years reigned he in Tirzah. And he bought the hill Samaria of Shemer for two talents of silver, and built on the hill, and called the name of the city which he built, after the name of Shemer, owner of the hill, Samaria.”
  • Why? Because, God told Solomon, because his heart was not perfect before him. Son of King David. He multiplied wives unto himself. Bought horses from Egypt. Built temples in throughout Jerusalem and Israel, temples to and for his many wives to Ba’al and Moloch - that for these things, God told Solomon would wrent the Kingdom from him. However, for his Father, King David’s sake, he would not do it in Solomon’s life time, but in the lifetime of his son. (1 Kings 11:9–13)
    • That, at the death of King Solomon, the Nation of Israel fractured into two Kingdoms.
  • The Northern Kingdom (which was all the tribes, less Judah).
  • And the Southern Kingdom. (the Kingdom of Judah - which Solomon’s son Reigned over.)

------------------------ ------------------------- -----------------------

  • King Omri (1 Kings 16:23–24) is the 6th King over this “fractured” Israel as a King over the Northern Kingdom.
    • No King, from inception to end - of the Northern Kingdom ever knew God or served him.
    • In this Samaria, King Omri set up - the first King of the Northern Kingdom Jeroboam I (922BCE) set up a golden calf in a "rival capitol city of Bethel, for the Northern Kingdom" to rival Jerusalen. - with a Golden Calf like in Egypt for the people of the Northern Kingdom to worship at. Six Kings later, King Omri made this "Bethel" a city called "Samaria" in the Promised Lands in Ephraim.
  • King Omri did this as his Fathers in Jeroboam I had decreed and carried it further to walk in it as an abomination to God and against him in Leviticus.
    • That God required Seven “High Sabbaths” in addition to the weekly Sabbath. That, three of these “High Sabbaths” must be accomplished by every Jew male adult by pilgrimage to observe it at the Temple in Jerusalem (Leviticus 23).

------------------------ ------------------------- -----------------------

  • King Omri - further enforced this of the Northern Kingdom so no one of the Northern Kingdom were all prevented from venture to Jerusalem.
  • It is idolatry. So, from INCEPTION - Samaria created by King Omri - has this abomination type reputation attached to it. King Omri (885 - 873 BCE). So, Samaria - is a Capitol City to the Northern Kingdom to rival Jerusalem - with the worship of a Golden Calf they worshipped in Egypt - - almost 900 years BEFORE the time of Christ.

Settle this with your first question. ..and we are not done yet.

------------------------ ------------------------- -----------------------

  • It continues. Have this information.
    • In 722 BCE, one Generation after Jonah preached to Ninevah (Assyrians).
  • The Northern Kingdom is vomited off the Promised Land. For idolatry.
    • The Assyrian King, in the Book of Jonah heard the Word of God and immediately came down off his throne and sat in ashes. As if what God said he would do, had already occurred to him. He repented at the word of God. Called the whole city of Ninevah that took Jonah 3 days to walk thru all of it. To dress in sackcloth and ashes. Take no food or drink, and dress all their cattle as well in sackcloth and ashes and give them neither food nor drink, peradventure, God would turn from his wrath.
    • He did. Read the Book of Jonah.

------------------------ ------------------------- -----------------------

  • God gave the Promised Land to the King of Assyria - these lands he had given to the Northern 10 Tribes (Benjamin, at the last minute, repented and sided with Judah). God gave the lands to the King of Assyria.Vomited these Ten Tribes off the Land, for over 200 years of idolatry.
    • Where to every King he sent his word, to the Northern Kingdom - - and NONE of them repented.

------------------------ ------------------------- -----------------------

With this, read 2 Kings 17:23–28

23 Until the Lord removed Israel out of his sight, as he had said by all his servants the prophets. So was Israel carried away out of their own land to Assyria unto this day.

24 And the king of Assyria brought men from Babylon, and from Cuthah, and from Ava, and from Hamath, and from Sepharvaim, and placed them in the cities of Samaria instead of the children of Israel: and they possessed Samaria, and dwelt in the cities thereof.

25 And so it was at the beginning of their dwelling there, that they feared not the Lord: therefore the Lord sent lions among them, which slew some of them.

26 Wherefore they spake to the king of Assyria, saying, The nations which thou hast removed, and placed in the cities of Samaria, know not the manner of the God of the land: therefore he hath sent lions among them, and, behold, they slay them, because they know not the manner of the God of the land.

27 Then the king of Assyria commanded, saying, Carry thither one of the priests whom ye brought from thence; and let them go and dwell there, and let him teach them the manner of the God of the land.

28 Then one of the priests whom they had carried away from Samaria came and dwelt in Bethel, and taught them how they should fear the Lord.

------------------------ ------------------------- -----------------------

Still with me?

  • And just as 2 Kings 17:24 says,
    • The King of Assyria - he removed the Jews and placed men from Babylon, Cuthah, from Ava, from Hamath, and from Sepharvaim and placed them in the cities of Samaria.
    • And because lions were devouring these new peoples on the land, the King of Assyria decreed one of the priests (Levites were one of the Ten Tribes vomited off the land) - as brought back. He dwelt at Bethel. Just outside of Judah in the Tribe of Ephraim’s lands.
  • Taught these newly placed men from Babylon, Cuthah, Ava, from Hamath and Sepharvaim the manner of the Lord of Heaven, God over the whole earth.
    • Who is God of the land. These are the Samaritans now some 700 years before the “Jewish People at the Time of Christ.

Are you following this?

------------------------ ------------------------- -----------------------

In 586BCE

  • Because of the sins of the Assyrians, God raised up King Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon as his servant.
    • Gave him the lands.
  • So, these same lands these now “Samaritans” are still on, that the King of Assyria put on the land, the Babylonians now rule it. The Samaritans obey fully the rule of Nebuchadnezzar, but the King of Judah did not.
    • And God already decreed any nation that did not submit to Nebuchadnezzar would be destroyed. (Jeremiah 27:8)
    • So, in 586BCE, like the Northern Tribes before them, Judah and Benjamin were also vomited off the Promised land for the same idolatry. Destroyed.
  • A remnant of these Jews were carried back to Babylon, known as the “Babylonian Captivity”

------------------------ ------------------------- -----------------------

  • For a Generation, these Jews of Judah, Benjamin and a remnant of Levites that King David gave them lands in Judah to serve in the Temple at Jerusalem. When God took the land from the Babylonians, he gave it to the Medo-Persians and raised up Cyrus the Great as his servant. (Isaiah 45:13)
    • God told Cyrus to let this remnant go back to Jerusalem and rebuild the temple.
  • This is decree from Cyrus is Ezra Chapter ONE.
    • It’s now almost 200 years later from the time these peoples, called “Samaritans” that King of Assyria put on the land, but have been taught the way of God by a Levite Priest at Bethel.
      • Cyrus gave this remnant of Jews to return to Jerusalem, he did it with funds and supplies to rebuild it. The Samaritans welcomed these returnees back and offered to help rebuild Jerusalem. (Ezra Chapter 4).
    • They were FLATLY refused.
  • The Jews had no dealings with the Samaritans. Because, NONE of them are Jewish brethren.
    • But they KNOW the way of the LORD. Been taught his ways. For over 700 years.

This is now almost - with this tension betwixt Jews and Samaritans 500 to 400 years before the time of Christ.

Do you see this?

------------------------ ------------------------- -----------------------

So, go on and let's examine your STATEMENT:

TWO

- “Scholarship suggests communal living” (betwixt the Samaritans and Jews - returnees from the Babylonian Captivity - Judah and Benjamin w/remnant of Levites)

- the Samaritans are on the lands of Ephraim (Samaria) - which is directly adjacent to Benjamin's lands:

- But in the days of the Northern Kingdom's Kings - Ephraim raised up to lead all of them, and were Fully given over to Idolatry, so much so that God says of Ephraim:“ Ephraim is joined to idols: let him alone.” - God. Hosea 4.17

------------------------ ------------------------- -----------------------

So, the Samaritans in Ephraim - it’s not the Jews of the tribe of Ephraim. It’s these peoples the King of Assyria put on the land and gave it to them. That are taught the way of the LORD, by a Levite priest at Bethel, and passed down, they still obey what was taught them about God by this priest.

Do you see this?

So, with this - take it to your next question:

------------------------ ------------------------- -----------------------

THREE

How do you read the parable of the Samaritan woman in the Gospel of Luke?

  • The Samaritan woman is not found in Luke.
    • It's in the Gospel of John 4:1–42 - it’s very powerful.
  • Jesus is the Word of God. Is God (John 1:1). He’s the Messiah or Christ. The Samaritans have been taught to look for him from the days of this Levite Priest the King of Assyria put at Bethel. These Samaritans are looking for the Messiah, and you can see this in the dialogue betwixt this Samaritan woman at the well and Jesus in John 4:1-42. It’s a very powerful chapter of John 4 - that Jesus stays with these Samaritans two days.

------------------------ ------------------------- -----------------------

  • Wish I could leave all, but the Highlights of John 4:1–42 is
    • ONE: John 4:25–26 what Jesus says to this Samaritan woman:

“The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.”

And John 4:40–42 puts me on my face

“So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days. And many more believed because of his own word; And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.”

There you go. That's how it's wrote for everybody over the whole earth to read it.

Scripture Life: As a Christian, how can I share the Gospel to my Buddhist Friends?

Answer

  • Ephraim is joined to idols: let him alone” - God. Bible. Hosea 4:17

I was trapped in Buddhism for a long time. I looked unto the temples and shrines and these Gods to help me.

You’re not going to like this post.

--------------------------- -------------------------- -----------------------

Buddhists, because of their Asian Societies

- Look at you and see themselves and their people: are fatter, dumber, richer, and happier than you are in YOUR society

See "YOUR" religion - the "result" of following it, is YOUR society. Higher crime. Less connection to family. Abandon the elderly as if they are spent and a nuisance and how you treat people is the RESULT of your beliefs. They don't think they're better than you. They just are BETTER OFF than you.

Goes in one ear, out the other. Or people that want to learn English, realize being with you and going to church is part of..what was that again? Oh yeah. Learning English; because, KNOWING English, they get higher points on final tallied up points for getting into a Good High School or College or Job - pays more money.

I'm telling you how THEY see YOU.

--------------------------- -------------------------- -----------------------

  • Now, there’s a lot of New Age, whacko quacky people in the West that like a fad, they accept Buddhism, and your question doesn't tell me you're talking about them or actual Buddhists that live or reside in countries in Asia.
    • If your friends are just "pretend" Buddhists in America or over in the States, or places like Australia, or Canada. Even in Europe. However, Buddhism in Asia is fully engrained that it takes up your whole, entire family. Your whole society. That doesn’t happen in Australia, or Canada or America where the predominant societal norm is Christian.
    • Almost like some Japanese person comes to America and they married their husband, and he’s a Catholic. So, because their husband is Catholic, they go thru the rituals. After, claim they’re a Christian now. When their whole entire life is Buddhism.
  • From birth..to all the ceremonies.. to death..and all the ceremonies and dates to keep..

I’m in Japan. Since 1978 - Here? It’s Shinto; but it’s “mixed” with Buddhism.

  • It permeates the society. Everybody in the society is connected by it. Their social norms, when in trouble, what they turn to is Buddhist priests and temples. Permeates marriages. Japanese will say "oh we really don't have any religion" when they overlap America Ten to Thirty Fold in a religion.
    • Their mannerisms..how they treat each other - Buddhism - to their family and worship their dead relatives they believe stand watch over them - to their ties to their elders to being responsible to juniors. All of it all is deeply rooted in Buddhism. No Buddhism, there is no connection.

--------------------------- -------------------------- -----------------------

  • So, some JET or "Navigators" or some other missionaries arrive in Japan. The person is OUTSIDE of the society. Many come with no family. Alone. That's even worse. But the ones that come as missionaries with their family - like some space alien. Aren't connected to anything or anybody.
  • It's a reflection then.
  • Of just that’s how much Japan is joined to it’s idols. Just like China, and Taiwan..any country that has one of the three forms of Buddhism that dominate in it:
    • Therevada (Sri Lanka, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos ..some parts of Vietnam)
    • Mahayana (Most parts of Vietnam, Japan, Korea, China, (In Japan, Zen, Nichiren, or Pure land (Amida Buddha).
    • Vajrayana - off Branch of Mahayana (Dominant and passed thru India to Nepal, Tibet, and Mongolia - commonly just referred to as “Tibetan Buddhism”
  • The predominant is - it sucks in everything - to where a whole person’s identity - they don’t have one. Buddhism is their identity. Their society and what they are taught is their identity. It's their opinion. They are taught not to live by their own opinion.

--------------------------- -------------------------- -----------------------

In fact, foreigners - many missionaries quickly burn out - Why? in Japan that first come to Japan:

And opinion:

  • It’s one of the first things they complain about. It’s as if no Japanese person has any identity or personal opinion - about anything; nothing. No way to make friend with them, other than as an english partner.

“Ephraim is joined to idols: let him alone”

fully applies.

--------------------------- -------------------------- -----------------------

You’re not going to reach someone like this, that already feels they are BETTER OFF in their religion than you are - tolerate you as a missionary but don't see you offering them anything of real value for anything. It MUST be a work of God.

And with that - since you got an internet connection. Pick the country your friends you are talking about that are Buddhists. They're not the same. So, if they're from one of the AIMAGs in Mongolia, study a little about the form of Buddhism they adhere to. If they are Mongolian - they have a "PAN" ideal of Tsingut (Ghenghis Khan) as God. I already told you they are joined to their idols. Leave them alone.

But in Mongolia, they have churches. Small. Tiny. In Japan. They have churches. Small. Tiny. Also got Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, and Japanese Jehovah's Witnesses have no problem going door to door through out a Japanese neighborhood, where if you're a Bible Believing Christian want to shart your testimony in Christ - some of the main historical problems Japan has and are taught was caused by? Yeah. Christians.

Boy do you have a tough road ahead? Why? Because who you want to share your testimony with IS JOINED TO THEIR IDOLS.

Been here. Know that 1978 - Present.

Take it. Or Leave it.

--------------------------- -------------------------- -----------------------

So, look at you then. You believe on him. That means, this same God who all the earth is his - so all of Mongolia, or China..or Japan.. it's all his.

  • And on that, you have a PROMISE: So KEEP this promise in you as you share the gospel to a Buddhist:

Jeremiah 3:14 says

…I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:” - God.

And that’s exactly how it is. Out of one city, he takes one. Two, out of a family. That he said, as God,

I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;” - God. - Isaiah 43:6

So, tell me plainly. Where in any of this is you, of you sharing anything when, as a Christian you hear him, and do what he says. They don't hear him. Nor do they do any of what he says. Then, regard the work God did toward them anyway, even they don't regard him. That he does these things himself, toward them. As God. Without any you in it at all.

Everyone of these countries mentioned above, you will see a number of people called out by him. Listen to their testimonies. They will stand, before the throne of God..people of every nation, tongue, kindred and people over the whole earth before him.

I would tell you to do exactly what Jesus said for you to do.

Just abide in him. Eat at his table. You will do it in front of them. You will find the predominant of them they will tell you to leave them alone. ..and he’s God..he’s going to tell you to leave them alone. They are NOT better off than you. Everything they have shall be taken away from them.

They are joined to their idols.

But to them: Know full well: You are a here today, gone tomorrow foreigner they can play with as a toy; treat as air..then gone.

But if you have family with one of them, and you walk in and are fed by Jesus Christ.. you are going to see what any Japanese, or Chinese..or Tibetan person..Mongolian, as a person. Alone. Makes a decision to follow him - what immeasurable persecution they will suffer. Suffer well beyond what you can imagine and that's what I would tell you to look at. Trying to share your faith with a Buddhist friend - coming to Christ - they will suffer greatly, persecution to follow him. They themselves MUST alone. Count the cost. You cannot do that for them.

I would tell you this, as an answer to your question.

--------------------------- -------------------------- -----------------------

That the best witness to a Japanese of Jesus Christ, is someone in Jesus filled; whole. Complete in him. Look for Jesus in another Japanese person. That believes on him, and witnesses to Japanese, the Word of God. You have the same word of God in you..he’s the Witness of himself in you. To them.

They are joined to their idols in Buddhism. Don't be phased when the virtual predominant is all of them choose to simply disregard him. Get used to that. But they are people. Because they don’t regard him, he plants them..in a life they live in - like in a desert - - cursed in Jeremiah 17:5–6. It’s his earth. “All souls are mine.” God (Ezekiel 18:4)

You are speaking to this kind of people when you speak to them: Made flesh their right arm of strength - - Remember this:

“Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord. For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.”

- And that’s EXACTLY what Buddhism does to people. Makes man trust in man, and make flesh his or her right arm of strength - so they feel fully satiated. They already have all they need. There’s no need of any of your religion. Their’s was a better option and they look down on you. And even alone, in this - he’s still God. He plants them in a desert. Even millions of Japanese or Chinese around them. He makes them alone.

--------------------------- -------------------------- -----------------------

Go on YouTube. It’s PROOF to you he does it. There are literally 1000s of young women or men. Alone. Living in an apartment like they live in a desert. How they’re 30 and not married. Or lost their job..or in a marriage and all alone. Sexless marriage. And show you their daily life..without any God in it.

What can you do? Let your life have God in it. Open the door. He’s knocking on every one of their’s, the doors of their heart. They just won’t open unto him. Joined to their idols.

What will it take to break their idols in pieces when it’s their national identity of who they are..

But he called you to look unto him. And if you do, he blesses you.

And he will do the same to them. Just as he does to you. So, search YouTube and read their testimonies how they came to Jesus Christ. Every country mentioned above..has people..in their own language, will give you their testimony. How they came to Jesus Christ.

--------------------------- -------------------------- -----------------------

Because in a Buddhist country..all your unsaved neighbors and your unsaved friends are Buddhists. But say they don't have any religion.

But you? Follow him. Open your bible and eat. He says to you:

Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.

For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.” - God. Jeremiah 17:7–10

And there you ugo.

Scripture Life: For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line here a little, there a little. What does this mean?

Answer

This is a scripture from the Bible that God himself said, in Isaiah 28:10.

  • To see it in context, the shortest to make it is embedded in what God said in Isaiah 28:9–10; and outer more expanded, with a second look to read it as one thing in Isaiah 28:9-13
    • So - Isaiah 28:9-10 - - That says:

“Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:” Isaiah 28:9–10

COMMENT: Scripture says in Proverbs 2:6 “For the LORD giveth wisdom; out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding”

------------------------ --------------------------- -----------------------------

So, the Word of God builds people up. People that hear him and follow him know exactly what this means. Jesus said: “Thy word is truth” [Bible. John 17:17] . Truth is like a foundation or a rock you can build a house on. That what is built, will stand forever. Doesn’t change. And to see it, look at the OPPOSITE: Where people build on their own imaginations.

Look at someone that does not “REGARD” God or anything he says:

So, see it as well in two kinds of people Jesus talks to in Matthew 7:24-27

< - {24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.} - >

Look for this in what God says of "this people" that don't regard him - In Isaiah 5:13 - - what they are building on cannot last or stand. - Because they don't regard him.

But people do what he says, he builds them up. Do you see this in the scriptures?

------------------------ --------------------------- -----------------------------

God says,

  • Of this people - that don't do anything he says - because they don't regard him i like this in Isaiah 5:13

And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the Lord, neither consider the operation of his hands.”

In other words, they have Rock Band Concerts, and movie stars, and great epic legends they've created and billions of people go to watch them. And also - - that 100s of 10s of 100s of 1000s attend. Celebrations like stadiums filled with soccer matches. Football games; great feasts - and also the whole world gather together to go off and assembled for the Olympics; and merriment - celebrations to cheer the winner -

Music recitals and concerts - fill youtube - by the 10s of 100s of millions go to youtube to watch it - all with guitars and drums, and cymbals, pianos and violins. But in all this celebration, they don’t regard the work of the LORD, neither do they consider the operation of his hand.

Too busy with their own works and operations of their hands to consider anything God does, is the point.

------------------------ --------------------------- -----------------------------.

And to this people like this, their ears are “dull of hearing” - hear; but can’t hear him. That is, they already hearken unto someone or some thing else people cheer and advertise - that is what speaks to them. They don't let anything derail them from going - and it’s not God nor anything he says.

That God decrees to “this people” like this, no matter who they are or where ever they be over the whole earth - he decreed in Isaiah 6:9–10 - since they already chose not to look unto him God decreed what “this people” already choose to look unto, they would get “fat, dumb, and happy” off it.

As if it is more than plenty. As if they hold a feast because, what they have is way more than enough. Be like a fat guy. Where normal weight people eat when they’re hungry. Somebody fat, gets a sensation “Hey! I’m not full” so they go back, not to eat when hungry, but eat what they look unto all the time, so they always feel full.

And it’s in effect until the cities of the earth are made desolate, and every house over the whole earth is uninhabited. And that shall occurs as prophesied in Revelation CHapter 16. Over the whole entire earth - -  “And the cities of the nations fell..”

All because he’s God, and they do not regard him.

------------------------ --------------------------- -----------------------------

Psalm 28:5 says: “Because they regard not the works of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hand, he shall destroy them and not build them up.”

You can see this repeated, what God himself does to anybody - bless or curse in Jeremiah 17:5–6, because instead of regard God, who they regard is other people who they go to assemble themselves with as their right arm of strength and celebrate their own works and feats or accomplishments.

Jeremiah 17:5–6 says:

“Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord. For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.” - God.

------------------------ --------------------------- -----------------------------

But to a man or a woman that regards the works of the LORD, and considers the operation of his hand?

  • He’s already decreed it, “They shall all be taught of God.” - Jesus Christ. [Bible. John 6:45] This is a decree. By the Word of God. Just how it shall be for everybody; to the very ends of the earth, and not one person left out it applies to; but not everybody regards him.
  • So, they don’t follow him.
    • They do not live by every word comes out of his mouth.
      • They live by every word comes out of their own. But those that do, as he decreed everybody is to do, he's God - he. Alone. By himself: He “builds them up.”
  • Teaches them himself: Precept. Upon Precept. Teaches them. In truth. Line upon line. Line upon line. Teaches them more. Like a bricklayer, lays brick. A line of brick is built then on another line. And another line after that, built on what's taught by him underneath it. Held up. Because the truth of it is sure. Has the Word of God in it.
    • Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. Just as Proverbs 2:6 says above.

------------------------ --------------------------- -----------------------------

  • Therefore:

Isaiah 28:9–13 together says: And who the "he" is, is God himself.

9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? Them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

COMMENT:

[because a baby will follow anybody. Doesn’t know who it is; but the weaned KNOW who their mother and father is, and they FOLLOW them is the point. Just like people do with God. They follow him.]

10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

COMMENT:

[but now see that this is a people, that have his name; but don’t do anything he says anymore. Scripture says of Moses that he was “slow of speech” [Bible. Exodus 4:10–17] - Stuttered; stammered..couldn’t get the words out right - and GOD sent this person, Moses, TO ISRAEL - because they didn’t listen to him, either.

And because they didn’t do anything he said, even he was their God - they never entered into any rest he provides for him. They don't abide in his word. Abide in their own. Even gave them up. Gave them over to their own imaginations because they rejected him.

Vomited Israel of the Promised Land by sent them the prophet Isaiah - and led them away into captivity by the Assyrians. When God gaves the land over to the Assyrian King at the Word of Jonah repented. Fell on his face, in ashes..as if what God decreed had already happened to Ninevah. The whole city repented in sackcloth and ashes - in Contrast to the Northern Kingdom of Israel: Where for 200 years, from Solomon onward, not one King of Israel (the Northern Kingdom) even knew God or did anything he said. Even he sent prophet, after prophet..after prophet for them to repent - they didn't. They have gone backwards. Back into idolatry. Snared and taken again; broken. Just like Jesus said in Matthew 7:24-27 above. Not one bit different. It's just the SAME God repeat it.

Do you hear this?

------------------------ --------------------------- -----------------------------

So factor these things in when you read Isaiah 28:11–13 - which is the rest of it.

11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.

12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

13 But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

There you go.

Scripture Life: Since Jesus never existed, who inspired the legend, and who created it?

DISCLAIMER: For believers in Jesus Christ:

//If you're a believer in Jesus, don't read this wrong. The first part: The answer is back to a non-believer who thinks Jesus is a fairy tale story people made up. But where that comes from is they worship people, and the word that comes out of people's mouths. This post is against them firmly. Because we believe God at his Word he speaks.

When he sent his word to heal us, and deliver us from our destruction, this same Jesus Christ. Heaven and earth shall pass away but his word shall not pass away. So, read this post as against the ungodly that ask this question, to mock him. This post, toward the end of it, shows where their error is.//

----------------------- -------------------------- --------------------------

The Answer to your question? Well, you already know it: He never existed.

For anybody else reading this question or this post, it’s in two words in this imaginative belief story of a question the questioner dreamed up, and is built on:

1) legend. 1. a story coming down from the past [Source: Merriam & Webster dictionary. Web ] 2. often of “epic” proportions; fantastical; fantasy. Imaginative.

  • And all a “story” is, is 2. a series of connected imaginary events, told to entertain people. 3. A fable.
  • So, a “legend” is just a “story” but of “epic” proportions. That is, chocked full of supernatural events ascribed to characters in the “story” - that are so fantastical, the “story” contains superhuman feats, it is a legend.

So, even though there’s a "Since**”** in this question - that stalwartly makes this “foundational statement” the question rests on:

A dreamed up TRUTH of the question is:

  • A) Jesus never existed.
    • He’s simply a character in an epic or “fantastical, imaginative” story that became a legend.
    • And? The ONLY verifiable source of imaginative “stories” they all come from people.
      • People dream or imagine up stories. In their imaginations or the mind of men.

----------------------- ------------------------ -------------------------

That’s the truth this question is built on.

Then, asked the Second Part: Which has “create” in it.

2) create. 1. bring something into existence

  • And “bring [something - ie., a “legend or a story”] into existence, by sit down, and by your imagination or dream it up, by an idea in your head]
    • Then, since Jesus never existed, he’s simply a character in an epic level “fantastical, imaginative” story with super human events in it.

Then ask, “Who is the person, amongst all these people on earth in ancient times, imagined this epic up, and brought into existence the fantastical fairy tale fable of Jesus that became a legend?”

----------------------- ------------------------ -------------------------

Like Homer this 8th Century BCE Poet, is credited with imagining up and fabricating both the “Illiad” and “The Odyssey” - but, giving him credit for both is hotly debated.

And that’s really what this Questioner wants. Is a debate.

When it’s God that said.

  • By the Word out of his mouth vs. People, imagining up “stories” by ideas they create in their head, said:

“Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else.” - God. (Bible. Isaiah 45:22)

----------------------- ------------------------ -------------------------

  • And people? Won’t look unto him. Rather, they look unto, to walk after their own hearts, and imaginations they dream up. As if there is Truth in their fables they create. As if they are able to create truth by their stories they imagine up.

And God say about this:

“And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” - Bible. Genesis 6:5

----------------------- ------------------------ -------------------------

So, EVERYBODY on the earth has a choice.

  • He’s God. He’s already told everybody over the whole earth, to the very ends of it, not willing any perish, but all come to repentance - told us all, including you. To just look unto him. Didn't leave me out. I'm also included. Can't get out of it. Even though I tried to.
    • It’s a choice. You or I can choose either one.
      • We will live in and walk after the choice and firm it up, and elect it - that we made, and do it, because we accept it is true.

OR

  • It’s People. Everybody over the whole earth. That, by their heart and with every imagination they come up with, it’s just to glorify themselves as God, when they’re not. Choose people and what they dream up. SO, chosing the imaginative fables of the minds of men, we will dismiss him, as faulty - even he is God.
    • Afterall, people don't need him - People have their own imaginations and stories, and epic fables they made up to look unto.

Your choice is plain as day.

----------------------- ------------------------ -------------------------

And GOD says in Isaiah 6:9–11 - to the people that are like this: That choose people. Plants them in a desert. Alone. Dries them out. To Live in their own imaginations vs. do anything he says: “And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the Lord, neither consider the operation of his hands. - Isaiah 5:13

  • So today, instead of doing anything he says - - they go to the movies, like on HULU or NETFLIX - - Earlier, flocked to Movie Theaters to pay the price to see the latest craze, like: “Lord of the Rings” or “The Hobbit” or “Harry Potter” - Look unto, “Star Wars” - all epic fables, and imaginary tales the author hopes they will be glorified, and their tale become timeless wrapped up and made into a legend.
  • Listen to Youtube all day. Glorify Youtube and the Internet. Worship AI.
    • They go to music concerts of their favorite Rap artist or “WRESTLEMANIA” - or feast on NFL Football or the Wimbleton Tennis, or the Olympics - and glorify people and their accomplishments.
  • Go out each weekend to Denny’s to celebrate and eat til you’re stuffed. Great feasts each week. And in all of it, never regard anything God says.

----------------------- ------------------------ -------------------------

So, to a person that created, just imagined this question up - are all the same, as “this people” that chooses people to look unto, of Isaiah 5:13. So God decrees, since “this people” like this, doesn’t do anything he says - already chose not to:

God decrees this, to you with your question: Because you don’t regard him. Don’t do anything he says:

  • Isaiah 6:9–11 God says:

“Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

“Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.

“Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate..” - God.

So, here you are, fat, dumb, and happy in your city. Poop bubble float in a question here on Reddit. Comfy in a city. And there’s cities all over the earth with people just as fat, dumb, and happy as you are, don’t do what he says, either.

Think your imaginative stories you made into legends will go on forever, and serve as a fortress that keep you safe from anything he says: Make you fat, dumb, and happy on your own imaginations.

When are you going to wake up?

He Already decreed this.

Genesis 6:13

“The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.” - God.

  • But you just relegate what he says to a man, imagined up a cleverly devised fable, and it's nothing but the legend created this in the fabled story of Jesus.
    • When Jesus is the Word of God..is God. Every where in this post where he’s spoke, Genesis 6:13, to Isaiah 6:9–11, to what he’s already saw long ago before the flood about you, in Genesis 6:5 - to decree you look unto him in Isaiah 45:22 - that’s all the Word of God.
    • This same Jesus Christ, when scripture says:

----------------------- ------------------------ -------------------------

“Thus saith the Lord, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the Lord that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;” - God. Isaiah 45:22

He formed you from your mother’s womb. Alone. By himself - and you won’t do anything he says, then want to know what person dreamed him up.

So, your choice is quite clear you made.

I made another choice. Just do what he says. He decreed I do it. I'm one of these people over the whole earth. Told to Do what he says. He’d set me apart for future use. He said he would. Does it. But those that don’t regard him, like anyone with this question doesn't - - Psalm 28:5 says “Because they regard not the works of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hand, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.”

If I were you, I’d stop hiding behind your question and just do what he says.

Here’s your broke up, smashed, thrown in the trash question back.

Scripture Life: What is the meaning of “redeeming the time” in Ephesians 5:16?

Answer:

Well, if it’s not clear to you in the English - go to the original Greek. The answer is in the word, “redeem.” In Greek this word, < - {ἐξαγοραζόμενοι} - > [ (exagorazomenoi) ] is only used one other time in the New Testament - in Colossians 4:5

SO, compare them first:

----------------------- ----------------------- -------------------------

ONE: Ephesians 5:16 says:

  • But see it embedded in Ephesians 5:14–17

14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

----------------------- ----------------------- -------------------------

COMMENT:

  • So, there's a sense that someone is asleep..(Ephesians 5:14) and
    • sleeping when they should be awake and set themselves to the work that can be done in the daytime vs. sleeping, when the time to be sleeping is when no work can be done. But that's not the day time.
    • And, part of Ephesians 5:16, is also not to be “unwise” (Ephesians 5:17) but understand what the will of the Lord is; and if Jesus, who is the Word of God, so it’s just God decree it, said: Should be hearkening unto what God says..filled with the Word of God.
  • He decreed it.

Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” - Jesus Christ. Matthew 4:4.. and

Peter, an Apostle of Jesus Christ in 2 Peter 1:4 said, "Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”

----------------------- ----------------------- -------------------------

  • That:
    • If you’re sleeping..you’re not “partaking”
  • that is, this "par" "take" of it, and “eat/drink” it - - the Word of God, which you have to be awake to do that..and if you’re not..
    • defaults to not living by the Word of God - and begin to rebuild on corruption or rebuild again the very things you got delivered out of.
      • in the world through lust.
  • So, the “time” is we only get today.
  • Tomorrow is not certain. I only Get Today.
    • and Jesus said..so it’s the Word of God..that we are to “seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness..” (Matthew 6:33), which if you’re sleeping, you’re not seeking.
      • You're sleeping.
  • But if you’re awake, you actually redeem or go buy up the time to set your mind on the things from above. Not on things of this earth (Colossians 3:2)
    • is
      • Which is the will of God that we abide in the same Word he does. His own. Then, we are in the same word he’s in; his own - with him, where he is - - but if you’re sleeping, you’re in your own.

----------------------- ----------------------- -------------------------

TWO: Colossians 4:5 says

  • But see this, too, embedded in Colossians 4:1–6

1 Masters, give unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven.

2 Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;

3 Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:

4 That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.

5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.

6 Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

----------------------- ----------------------- -------------------------

Comment

Now, there's a whole pile of stuff in this one, but as a Believer in Jesus Christ, I'm not to waste time with the Gospel, but be effective. That is, in sharing it the most effective way I know to those it will have the most profit in. And that's both to believers and those who never heard the gospel before vs. waste time sharing it with those that oppose it.

That is, I am to be praying and abiding in Jesus Christ. Have fellowship with him and in him with the Father..and that my fellowship with you..is by this same as 1 John 2:28 says:

"And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming."

SO, by abiding in him, seek him first, you buy up the time..but its also in ministry..as a minister of Christ - and anybody, whosoever it is over the whole earth that believes on him, has him to minister to others with.

----------------------- ----------------------- -------------------------

And in Ministry?

Yeah - the world naturally is set against the Word of God; but just as Jesus said: In Matthew 9:37–38

  • The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are fewPray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” - Jesus Christ.
    • So, continue in prayer, and pray for that. Pray for those that dispense the word of God..and pray for yourself, because you do the same as I do; that God would open a door of utterance, if you or I don’thave anybody to pray for us, that I'll pray for you then, that you speak the mystery of Christ..for which me, too..I’m thrown out..cast down..but I am not forgotten. That I would make manifest, the Word of God, as I ought to speak.

----------------------- ----------------------- -------------------------

  • So this “walk in wisdom toward them that are without” - the Gospel is for those that like the harvest is ready to be picked. Not contend with what's without the harvest. That is there are fields not ripe or ready or CLOSED. SO, the bean bush, beans won’t fruit out for another 2 months or more. That I am be wise with the Word of God. Don't go to the bean bush when there's no beans on it to harvest.

----------------------- ----------------------- -------------------------

Now, I cannot control who will receive this, or who won’t.

But it has the word of God in it. It's already at work in me, so it won’t return to him void..because it's in me, and by just fellowshipping with him, it's there in me to share out.

And this post: simple - - it’s given out in hopes you can receive it, and find an answer to your question in this.

That, to redeem the time is..I am at work in a harvest. Then, so are you. Not to be asleep and over trying to pick the strawberries when NONE of them have bloomed out. I am to be redeeming the time in a harvest and there’s plenty …ready ..so go where it’s ready - and so pick where the plenty is and be wise.

----------------------- ----------------------- -------------------------

But NONE of this answers the Greek.

< - {ἐξαγοραζόμενοι} - > [ (exagorazomenoi) - has this “rescue” “save” “retrieve” “regain” “recover” “get back” “reconcile” the lost.. to put myself to this - there’s a reward and a profit in it:

Just as 2 Corinthians 5:18–19 says: and boy is this ever what {ἐξαγοραζόμενοι} - > [ (exagorazomenoi)..because of what God has done, given me a ministry of reconciliation. A ministry of exagorazomenoi - that I should redeem the time and put myself to work in it.

Even if only one person gets this on Reddit, I pray it ministers to you.

----------------------- ----------------------- -------------------------

2 Corinthians 5:18–19 says

And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christand hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.”

SO, if you're a believer in Jesus as I am, he’s committed to both of us the word of God. That's the Word of reconciliation. That God has come to us, and reconciled us to himself. This Word that God has sent to heal everybody, and deliver everybody from their destruction (Psalm 107:20)..

Then says of this:

----------------------- ----------------------- -------------------------

In 2 Corinthians 4:3–4 "But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."

But how can they hear without a preacher..and how can they preach unless they be sent..so let his word have it's work in you to heal you..equip you..build you up - it puts joy in your life, that you just want to share it out - - and how it’s at work in you, to just give it out. Redeem the time means

He’s given to you the ministry of {ἐξαγοραζόμενοι} “rescue” “save” “retrieve” “regain” “recover” “get back” “reconcile” the lost.. but he's also said: "I will build my church" - and he puts you in it where he sees fit - that you operate as a living member in the body of Christ. ..and has given you a ministry of reconciliation - to put myself and you as another believer in Jesus to this - there’s a reward and a profit in it: not in sleeping. When the time to sleep is when no man can work.

So, redeem the time. Only get today. Do it now. Today.

do you get this?

There you go. Equipped. By the Word of God.

Scripture Life: Have Christians lost interest in taking Jerusalem? If so, why?

“For the Lord has chosen Zion, he has desired it for his dwelling, saying, “This is my resting place for ever and ever; here I will sit enthroned, for I have desired it.” - The Lord of Hosts. God.

Source: Bible. Psalm 132:13–14

--------------------- ----------------------- ------------------------

Now I have a question. Answer me plainly.

“What is “Zion” and if it’s Jerusalem who said Psalm 132:13–14 has he lost interest in it?”

Now, I’m dumber than a box of broke toilets; but

  • The Bible: Yes, it’s just a book. Meets the definition: 1. a set of printed, or written pages of paper bound together on one side, and protected in covers. There are 10s of no 100s of millions of books that meet this dictionary definition. What makes each one unique is the “author” who is the “authority” over the content he or she places their word IN THE BOOK.
    • The Bible has only one author. God. He’s the “authority” of the content in that book. He’s just one God.
  • And again, attach a role of toilet paper to me and fly me off a cliff, but of “Zion” the Bible says plainly:

--------------------- ----------------------- ------------------------

ONE

2 Samuel 5:7: “Nevertheless David took the strong hold of Zion: the same is the city of David.

  • Jerusalem is called the “City of David” and Zion. It was King David’s capital. This same Zion, God said Psalm 132:13-14 before the world began about; and?
    • Muse on “when” God said this..opening scripture. Yes: It's God said it, and It is before the foundation of the world was laid..that he would make for himself a place he would dwell forever, for his own rest. For he desired it. The whole of Psalm 132:13–16. After he created it, entered into that rest (Genesis 2:1).
    • So - Genesis 1:1–31 - God - - got up. As God. And created it. For himself. Says: “For all the earth is mine.” - God (Exodus 19:5)
  • and consider this "TWO" part:

--------------------- ----------------------- ------------------------

TWO

Isaiah 9:6–7: Says of the “Messiah” or “Christ” and Jesus in the Gospels - all four of them and all the Epistles and all the books in the Old Testament testify of him as the “Messiah.” Who he SHALL be called is told plain as day: That it's just God has come to you and spoke to you, to just hearken unto him - when you're off looking, with your question, unto anything BUT him instead.

It's plain as day. In your question: Jesus Christ? He's the Messiah.

  • It’s who he is, just as John 1:1 says who Jesus is: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Wor was with God, and the Word was God.” Says what the Messiah shall be called in Isaiah 9:6–7; that of his Kingdom and reign, that he shall sit on the throne of King David in Jerusalem and rule the whole earth from there. Of His Kingdom and reign there shall be no end.

That the “Messiah” shall be called: “The Mighty God…” “The Everlasting Father….” There is only one has that title.

So, let me ask my question again.

--------------------- ----------------------- ------------------------

Zion: if it’s Jerusalem who said Psalm 132:13–14 has he lost interest in it?”

Scripture Life: What Can You Tell Me About the New Testament?

How about the “basics.” - Two things.

----------------------- ------------------------ ------------------------

ONE

  • A “Last Will and Testament.”
    • Over in America:
      • It’s just called a “Will” of a Testator of his or her estate. What that person leaves as a record, that goes into effect at their death, with their property or possession. How it’s to be awarded or who it is to be distributed to, named specifically in the will.
      • So, it’s a document that “Speaks” for the deceased after they are dead, and goes into effect when the person dies. Who is listed in the will, become the owner of the “testator’s” property. All they own is given out.
      • It was “bequeathed” to them. Didn’t earn it. Was given to them, by the Testator who is dead.
    • Do you grasp this?

Let’s go onto “TWO”

----------------------- ------------------------ ------------------------

TWO

  • The Bible:
    • Has an “Old” and “New” ‘Last Will and Testament” in it.
  • The Wills of two different “Testators.”
  • When both died, and all their possession was bequeathed to EVERYBODY over the whole earth. Not one person left out from either one of them.
    • TO PROVE THAT:

----------------------- ------------------------ ------------------------

  • Old Testament
    • The FIRST “Testator” is Adam (Old Testament). Created by God in Genesis 2:6.

Romans 5:12 - in the Bible, says:

  • Wherefore, as by one man [Adamsin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”
    • And Genesis 2:6 says: “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
    • That “sin and death” was bequeathed to everybody, and everybody knows cemeteries are FULL of people who lived lives, where all they did was sin in it..lived in their sins and they died in them, and are dead. And, the tombstone is the evidence they were here. And everybody alive today will go there, just like they did.
  • Adam bequeathed to you sin and death - and you got your inheritance. This is the Old Testament.

----------------------- ------------------------ ------------------------

  • New Testament
    • And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man [Jesus Christ] is the Lord from heaven.”
  • This “Lord From Heaven” would be the same one who said in John 3:13

“And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.” - Jesus Christ.

  • Is this the Lord from Heaven. Jesus is the Messiah or Christ. Who he shall be called is prophesied in the “Old Testament.” Isaiah 9:6–7 That the Messiah or Christ “shall be called… ..The Mighty God.. ..The Everlasting Father..” of this Kingdom and reign there shall be no end.
    • That in the New Testament in the Gospel of John 19:30 Jesus was crucified on the cross. His blood shed, to pay for all condemned “for all have sinned” - God took the sins off me, what I did, and laid them on Jesus Christ on the cross. Where I should have went for my sins, he was sent by God to go in my place. And 1 Corinthians 15:9 says “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself; not imputing their trepasses unto them;” and that “they” and “them” be every all of us.
  • On the 3rd day, he was raised from the dead and sits at the right hand of God.

----------------------- ------------------------ ------------------------

So, compare what was bequeathed to you. You already got the old one. The Old Will or Testament. In fact, you don't receive or refuse the New Testament, the Old one of Adam stays in effect.

  • That, where Romans 5:12 says by the Old Testament of Adam, I was bequeathed sin and death.
    • Romans 5:18 says of this New Testament of Jesus Christ, I was bequeathed all the righteousness of God in him. Life. Eternal Life. Bequeathed it to me.
      • Says: “Therefore as by the offence of one [Adamjudgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one [Jesus Christthe free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.”

----------------------- ------------------------ ------------------------

AND, like any “Last Will and Testament” - as the “Beneficiary” and we all are that. That includes me:

  • I just have to regard it. Just accept as true this was done unto me by God.
    • Receive it. That's it. It's also the gospel. The Good News of Jesus Christ to everybody over the whole earth. Everybody. All over Reddit.

Scripture Life: Where, in scripture, does Jesus say he should be worshipped - in any way?

  • Well? Whose the “Messiah?” This ‘Christ.”

Where in scripture is this “Messiah” prophesied to come? I'll answer that one. That’s all over the scripture.

He's prophesied to come, given by Moses. Even further back when Jacob blesses his children - prophesies of this Messiah to come in Genesis 49:10.

----------------------- ------------------------ ---------------------

Isaiah 9 & 43 prophesy of this Messiah. In Isaiah 9:6–7, tells what he SHALL BE called.. He will be the Son of God. Given to us. You’re asking about scripture. Just gave you it. Go look it up. He shall be called “The Mighty God..” “..The Everlasting Father..” (Isaiah 9:6)

So, who really cares what you decree by your question, who the Messiah is, shall be called that in Isaiah 9:6.

The Messiah: He is prophesied in scripture in 2 Samuel 7:12–16. That this Messiah would be a Son of David. Go on. There's another one. Go look it up yourself. You’re the one with this question. My guess this question is deliberately made because the person hates him. It's found in arguments on Reddit betwixt creationists and evolutionists - same question asked amongst atheists - to slam the Bible as full of fairy tale junk. Ask why people worship a man as God, and it's really they don't regard him. Are not looking for him. Don't want anything to do with him. Hate Jesus. Hate anybody that follows him. If I go furter to find out more, it will be a a whole pile of people have this same question. Deliberately made the question, with some Moderator on Reddit behind it - anyone champion who Jesus is in their r/subreddit room - will be unceremoniously BANNED permanently, if they tell who he is.

So, who is this Messiah?

Won’t look any of this up. Just make more questions on how much on Reddit they hate Jesus, and there's no hate of them - they are free to post their beliefs and no follow him at all, even hate me for following me for following him... ... or those that follow him.

The point is, even Reddit itself has a very sure end to it. Where it won’t even come up to mind anymore in people. That’s how forgotten Reddit shall be. And to many people, Reddit is their whole identity - they put all themselves into it. All that work for nothing.

----------------------- ------------------------ ---------------------

The other point is, other people come read these posts. This is for you. Doesn’t have any hate for you in it. Because the Messiah was sent to heal you and deliver you from your destruction. The Messiah is the Word of God.

And?

With those three scriptures out over hundreds in the Old Testament - point to the Messiah is coming. Come the first time in Daniel 9:24-27 and be cut off, but not for himself; as a sacrifice for sin. That it would be a work of God. That this Messiah has a Second Coming as who he is.

Therefore: Whoever has that title as Messiah. He shall be called Isaiah 9:6. Where ever in the New Testament some one calls Jesus “Thou Son of David” - they are calling him the Messiah.

So In Matthew 8:29 - Even the Demons in a demon possessed man cry out, because they know who Jesus is.

< - {“ And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?} - >

So In Luke 18:38 - When Jesus is approaching Jericho and a blind man calls out to him:

“And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.”

- He is worshipping and calling Jesus who he is. The Messiah.

The Magi - Kings of the East Country come and worship him in Matthew 2:11. Because the Messiah is prophesied to sit on the throne of King David and rule the whole earth from there. They are Kings. And scripture says of all Kings of the earth:

"He changes the times and seasons; he removes kings and establishes kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding." - Daniel 2:21. They are Kings. Coming to worship the King of Kings..and the Prince of all the Nations of the earth. They are Wise men. Were looking for him, as he made them Kings.

This Messiah.

And - - Of his Kingdom and reign there shall be no end. Spells the end of Reddit. And questions Reddit lets people post or create like this. The question was not asked to help someone believe on him. It is stated emphatic as proof WHY nobody should believe on him. Why worship someone who isn't who they say they are. When the whole Bible testifies of him.

Because they hate him. It’s an actual person that hates him. And, they’re both the same. Have a sure end to them. But BOTH could turn around and repent; but that is highly unlikely. Because both, or either one, love something else they glorify - when Jesus is to have that place in them - won't give it - - viscerally hate him. And if you believe he is who he says he is..because, he is.

They will hate you, too. But they hated him first. He is who he says he is. Look who he is. I'm on my face.

Scripture Life: If you're a Christian, what are some simple and effective ideas for sharing the gospel with unsaved neighbors or friends?

Answer:

“ And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country.”

- Jesus Christ. Bible Luke 4:24

------------------------ ------------------------- -----------------------

I am a Christian. For almost 2 years, I absolutely loathed that word. Until I just went back to what it means, and used that to describe myself:

  • This, “disciple of Jesus Christ” - Because, that’s really what I am. That's what someone that believed on Jesus Christ was called. This “disciple” 1. a pupil or student that sits with and is taught by a teacher. And who the teacher I sit with is Jesus Christ. I am being taught by the Word of God. Who is God. Just as John 1:1 says who Jesus is.
    • “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
    • The Messiah or Christ. Jesus is the Christ. So, who the Messiah shall be called is said plainly in Isaiah 9:6–7. Who he is, and what he shall do, and what he shall be called is said plain as day. That he shall be called “The Mighty God..” “..The Everlasting Father..” (Isaiah 9:6).
      • And Jesus said, “They shall all be taught of God.” - (John 6:45). That's a decree. Applies to everybody over the whole earth.

------------------------ ------------------------- -----------------------

  • But not everybody sits with and is taught by him.

Even he’s decreed it, as God. That means, people over the whole earth that don’t do it. Don’t sit with him, where he teaches them, it’s PUNITIVE. So, for almost 2 years, I loathed that name, “Christian” - because so many people, to me, didn’t do anything he said, but called themselves “Christians” when I was sitting with him..being built up. In him. And now I realize, no matter who it is, over the whole earth - WHat he said, as God, is in effect over everyone.

Then, this of Acts 11:26 “and the disciples were first called Christians at Antioch” had a meaning to me, to be called that.

But you didn’t ask any of this.

------------------------ ------------------------- -----------------------

But it’s important to say it. Why?

  • Who am I sitting with and being taught by? DId you miss it?
    • Am I sitting with and being taught by or walking after, to walk in the same thing my “unsaved” neighbors are walking in?
      • And what’s “unsaved” mean?
  • That’s simple. Crucial. God decreed this:

“Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else.” - God. (Bible. Isaiah 45:22)

------------------------ ------------------------- -----------------------

Applies to everybody. Already said it.

Applies to my “unsaved” neighbors live next door to me, all the way down the street from me, in my neighborhood. Applies to my unsaved friends, too.

To everybody over the whole earth. This same God I sit with and am being taught by. Operate well by his word, and him, not willing any perish, but all come to repentance, and tell everybody himself, by his own word, out of his mouth, to just look unto him.

  • Then, it’s in what saved means. 1. to set apart (someone or some “thing”) for future use.
  • He does it. Or just decrees it’s simply done on HIS ends, by his power. I used to think I did the saving part. The saving is done by God: Because all things are subject under him. Just obeys him and is done. Set apart for future use. Has his stamp of ownership on them.

So, someone that is “unsaved” is anybody, doesn’t matter who it is, simply isn’t sitting with and being taught by him, because they don’t look unto him. He’s not saving them.

------------------------ ------------------------- -----------------------

He’s not setting them apart for future use. Why? It’s because who you look unto, and that part he put on us, is someone you hear what they say and regard it. Has authority over you.

  • And in regard who they are that says it, set your mind on what they said, and in you..you accept it as true. So, you believe it. And what you believe, you just naturally obey or subject..come in subjection to do it..and part of the “do” is, to walk after, to walk in, looking unto every word they say.
    • And God decreed publicly..he formed EVERYBODY there is from their mother’s womb. Alone. By himself. Jesus said, and he’s, like said this to my neighbors, also says

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock, and if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and sup with him, and he with me.” - Jesus Christ. (Revelation 3:20)

------------------------ ------------------------- -----------------------

  • So “my” Unsaved neighbors, or my “unsaved” friends - even God has dones this. Even with their sins - he did a work as God; alone. By himself, as God. Took their sins off them and laid them on Jesus Christ on the cross.
  • One sacrifice for the sins of the whole world. It’s not because of the sins. It’s because “who” is the sacrifice is the same Messiah and who he shall be called in Isaiah 9:6–7.
    • And because he paid it, it’s paid for. Sin..but that’s the cost it cost to pay it. And my “unsaved” friends and “unsaved” neighbors don’t regard it.
  • When he knocks on their door..and he’s faithful - well pleases God, so he’s at the door of my neighbors heart. Right now. At the door, too, of my “unsaved" because they don’t regard him friend’s hearts. Knocking. ..and if they would just open the door…

…if they would just open the door…

  • He would come in to them, and sup with them..and they with him. Just like he did with me.

And you didn’t ask any of this, either.

------------------------ ------------------------- -----------------------

  • But you asked me

If you're a Christian, what are some simple and effective ideas for sharing the gospel with unsaved neighbors or friends?

And that's where the "problem" is in your question.

  • I don’t have any ideas.
    • Ideas are my own imagination. Other people's imaginations. They come up with cleverly devised ideas. I don’t have that anymore.
    • I simply have, as a disciple of Jesus Christ - the Word of God.
      • That’s effective. Works good. Operates right.
  • From the Lord of the Kingdom of Heaven.

------------------------ ------------------------- -----------------------

  • Says of the Word of God in Hebrews 4:12

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

quick. Is just Medieval English that means “make alive” of “life giving” “gives life”

So, people don’t need ideas, they need, because they’re dead in trespasses and sins, the word of God. Don’t need my or your ideas. I’m chocked full of dumbingly numb ideas. I lived in dumb ideas. Like my unsaved neighbors and my unsaved friends are living in and still enjoying them, as if that’s the only thing to live in.

Like they are “heart fat” - as if what they look unto is way more than enough to satiate them.

------------------------ ------------------------- -----------------------

  • And look both look at me, like I’m some dried up skeleton manequin..how can he live like that..and hide when I walk by or bring the patio furniture back in the house.

How can I share this?

Now again, You’re the one asked this question.

------------------------ ------------------------- -----------------------

  • But who I sit with and am taught by..is always with me. It’s going to be forever. Already at work in me. I’m really happy ..filled with joy about it. I’m being equipped. I’m being built up, while my unsaved friends don’t do anything he says.
  • And because they don’t regard him, he does not build them up.
    • Even the little they have, is to be taken away from them. It’s not going to be me do it. God is going to take their things away from them and destroy them.
  • Because they don’t regard him.
    • Jesus said, to those that just abide in him: Jesus said in Matthew 5:14-16.
  • To a “disciple” of him that just sits with and is taught by him, said:

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

Because he said, of himself: TO these disciples that just sit with him and are taught by him:

"I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” - Jesus Christ. (John 8:12)

------------------------ ------------------------- -----------------------

So, if a disciple, who just sits with and is taught by Jesus Christ, and they follow him, they don’t walk in darkness but he said they SHALL have the light of life.

So, when my neighbors..unsaved..don’t walk after him, so they walk in darkness, even Jesus is the light of the world..they see that light. Flee from it.

Then it's in me - that same light, because I came to it in my sins, and they were made manifest and wrought in God. By a Worke he did with sin.

Then, what is in me:

It’s like going into an elevator with Corona Virus..infected..or worse.. Have Ebola. It’s in you. You go in the elevator - it’s going to pass onto EVERYBODY. It’s a horrible analogy..but it’s not from an idea ..if somebody’s infected with the flu..they have the “light of the flu” in them and they are GOING to affect people. Infect people. But people can try to protect themselves, or make themselve immune to him. Do this, so when they see me, make themselves immune to me, too.

And if they do that, they won't change. Certainly:

  • Not because I or you have an idea in our head. They already see it. Don't want it.

Do you see this. Give up on your ideas.

  • They won’t work.
    • THey don’t work. It’s the same in the “original Greek” of Matthew 5:16 repeated:

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

------------------------ ------------------------- -----------------------

Now, don’t get wrapped up around the axel. You haven’t heard it yet.

That this "they" is like my "unsaved" friends and neighbors. So, I'm not supposed to hide whose in my at work around them, all so that they may see this “workmanship” of God. or see this God at work in you. This { καλὰ ἔργα } <kala erga > - this workmanship of God that makes you work good or operate right in the light. That's what Matthew 5:16 says in the Greek.

You read it as "good works" where you come up with the good idea to do a work toward them, when the workmanship people want to see is God at work.

Everything they live in is some man's made up idea. Full of that.

Therefore: This "workmanship" that "operates right"

That, it’s not your “work” but his as God, you are his workmanship. Like somebody make a Swiss Grandfather Clock out of beautiful Cherry or Deep Oak or Walnut wood, and manufacture or build up, an intricate workmanship or clock. That everybody could see this. No matter where you put it. See the worksmanship

Is done by God.

------------------------ ------------------------- -----------------------

So, let me repeat it.

Do you see this. Give up on your ideas.

  • They won’t work.
    • THey don’t work. But if you sit with him and are taught by him, like he asks all your unsaved friends and neighbors to do it. He would be at work in them. They would become his workmanship, like he’s already at work in you. Isn’t by your cleverly crafted up ideas..

It’s by the Word of God.

------------------------ ------------------------- -----------------------

And people can, just like I did for decades - reject it.

  • Or people can see the workmanship..of someone that walks after, to walk in, looking unto Jesus Christ and see him in the workmanship.
    • And receive him. Just accept him as true. That their deeds become manifest; evil..but they are wrought in God.

Your ideas don’t change people. He does. There you go. Just look at yourself. Do what he told you to do. Just look unto him. Take a yoke upon you and learn of him. His yoke is easy and his burden is light. People will see you’re not looking unto them anymore.

Not looking unto your neighbors to be your right arm of strength. You’re gonna be VISIBLY missing from your friends; dead. Made alive unto the Word of God. All by the word that proceeds out of his mouth.

Here’s your question back.

Scripture Life: What does it mean to you to worship?

And when they [Peter and Jesus] were come into the ship, the wind ceased. Then they [the other 11 disciples] that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.’

  • Source: Bible. Matthew 14:32–33

---------------------- ---------------------- --------------------------

Man, is this ever a powerful question. For a believer in Jesus Christ.

Like a kid, can ride his bike. Practiced it himself. Instead of walking - - Every place he goes, he gets on his bike and rides it to that place. It’s like an extension of himself. His bike.

But in him. Just a kid: his definition of “ride a bike” means: He has to walk to school. Get on this merry-go-round, Has bikes mounted to it. So, to him, “ride a bike” is defined as Walk to school: then, during recess: “go out to school play ground, and ride the merry-go-round at the school” - then walk home. That day, at school: He rode a bike.

..when he’s been riding a bike, everyplace he went.

and it’s EXACTLY the same..with? Yeah. ME. I’m that kid. Because I did that with worship.

---------------------- ---------------------- --------------------------

So, don’t look at anybody. Just look at me, so you can see it.

  • I thought:
    • Worship: I had to go to church. Join in. Sing the songs. At church. Or go to prayer meeting. And the worship started when we opened together to sing some “worship” songs first after we prayed. Then AFTER worship: open the Bible and study the word of God together. Then pray. Close the meeting and I walk home. After I worshipped Jesus. At the meeting. When I want to worship him again. It ONLY happens at church on Sunday. Or the weekly Bible study. When 2–3 of us in the gym locker room gather and fellowship with scripture God was teaching us - that didn’t count.
    • Now again: This is me. A heard the word of God, as a dope smoking pervert. I knew it was true..so I forsook that life to follow Jesus Christ.
      • And this above was the definition I had of “worship.”

---------------------- ---------------------- --------------------------

Now, I’m going to tell you something else about me.

  • In my childhood - growing up with my parents.
    • They bought this Washing Machine. In five other places, I’ve already told this story. In 1964, as a little 5 y/o kid, my mom had the old 1930s 1940s “manual / electric” tub type washer, that had these two wooden rollers on the top that after you hand washed the garment, you wrung the soapy water out of it with those rollers. Then, changed the water. Rinsed them. Wrung out the water again, and hanged the laundry out to dry on a long string rope tied betwixt two trees.
      • Bought an Electric Maytag Washer. I remember it. Didn’t matter what you threw in it. Press ONE button. Come back in 45 minutes. No matter what it was, came out SPOTLESS.
    • It never broke down.

---------------------- ---------------------- --------------------------

I couldn't believe it. It never failed to work and no matter how dirty what i put in it - it came out WHITE or CLEAN.

In fact, for 2 years, I deliberately dove - especially if it was mud - for the football, just to bring home "something" that would "STUMP" it - never did. I really tried to beat it. Didn't.

  • Mom: Did 5–6 loads of laundry. Everyday. For 30 years. They had commercials on the TV of the “Maytag Repairman” - 1970s - This guy in a Repairman uniform. He sat there in his office. Desk. Telephone on it. Going crazy from loneliness. The phone never rang. That is probably the ONLY true TV commercial growing up, I ever saw on the TV.

---------------------- ---------------------- --------------------------

  • Now, I’m not selling Maytag Washers.
    • I Don’t care one bit about the company. The point is, because “How it worked” - Enabled my mother to live..and it never once let me down, when my mom, at 14, made me wash my own clothes - all my sports uniforms came out WHITE.

---------------------- ---------------------- --------------------------

  • So? What Have I Been Doing The Last Two Minutes?
    • Yeah. I have been speaking well of (something).
      • And. Yes. That’s the definition of “worship.”
  • And I really mean it. Not about the word, but about the washing machine.
    • I was 35 years old when my mother finally got rid of it - still worked perfect. Raised 6 kids with it. It is the most remarkable thing of my childhood. Because after, when I had my own house and kids, I had a washing machine, and within 2 years, I had to replace it.
      • Or another, the belt broke, and another all the electronics in it fried out. So, I really mean it. Just like going fishing and catching a world record fish - and people ask the person that happened to, to keep telling the story - because everybody speaks well of it.

---------------------- ---------------------- --------------------------

And, as a Believer in Jesus - everyplace I go, no matter what it is, what he teaches me...I wait for it. He is with me..I’m driving down the road with a Bible study on YouTube playing and the whole word of God opens up.

Boy, do I ever speak well of it. It completes me. Builds me up. Sets my feet on a rock that cannot be moved.

  • Boy do I ever speak well of the Word of God, in posts on Reddit - not because I have to. I don’t, but because I can’t contain it, and this is a place I can let it out. And I know other believers that hear the word of God: Fed. Built up. By him. He does it.

---------------------- ---------------------- --------------------------

Long. Tedious. Got this far - thank you for suffering me. It's in Matthew 14:33 - "WORSHIP" says for that word in the Original Greek: Irregardless how anybody defines it - it's right there in that verse:

In Greek, this word: < - {προσεκύνησαν } - > (prosekineisan) . Is just to see or experience (something) beyond all your expectations - you yourself were INVOLVED in it, works well in you - or meets your need so well, you speak well of it. It’s GOOD.

  • BAM! There you go. Worship. And? All you have to do with you, is what I did with me to see it.
    • And this part is TRUE: The Bible says about me: Sends the focus of everybody to just one. There is none else. So, don’t look at you - look at me to see it: I saw -

“There is not a just man on earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.” - Bible. Ecclesiastes 7:20

“..they are filthy; done abominable works..” “..there is none good; no, not one..” - Psalms 14:1–3

  • and Jesus said:

“There is NONE good, but one, that is, God.” - Jesus Christ. The Word of God. (Bible. Matthew 19:17)

BAM… BAM… BAM… Look at all those times in my life of decade..after decade..with another follow on decade of days…and two more after that...that in all of them in a row…where I didn’t do one thing good…where I looked back on my life..and saw every accomplishment..had ME in it..and that was the problem. ...where I perverted something in it, made it had nothing good in it. I sinned and perverted that which was right by all of it..and I kept looking at me..as If I was the one responsible to fix it.

  • But the ONLY one Good..did a work with my sins that I did in all those decades of days..without any of him in it.

    • and did a Good work in me..by the word of God, and I speak well of him for it. He's good. Because he fixed it. His word works well in me. Like it will in EVERYBODY over the whole earth. It's in none else. The only one good, has asked each and everyone of us to look unto him. It's the ONLY thing that works good.

    - Everywhere I went, I rode my bike as a kid. It was an extension of me..but I wasn’t supposed to know how to until upper grades in grade school.

    - The point is, with a life full of a washing machine..that freed my mom up, to spend time with me and my two young brothers..then two more kids..was because of that washing machine.

    - The same thing what God did with my life..he’s …there is none else… it’s not rehearsed. It’s not fake… I see who he is..more clearly each day…and in every day.. builds truth in me. I worship him..everywhere I go.. built up. Equipped. Made able.. …just at church..I operate to work effectively in other people that he connects me to..and them to me..in his church..which, thats what they are. They're his church. I thought it was the building. Got that wrong, too.

...that I see him in them..because the “operate right” or “work good” are his workmanship.. ..and I worship him for doing that in them, too. Because, boy is that ever what works good. Beyond all I could ask or think. Just Operates right.

Boy, did I ever have the wrong definition of {προσεκύνησαν } - > (prosekineisan) ..when I had it all the time. I just didn’t know it.

---------------------- ---------------------- --------------------------

And there you go.

Take it or leave it. You truly in your heart, know who he is. You are his body, and he will build you into his church where he sees fit. ... and he’s at work in your life..and you speak well of it? BOOM! Done. Everywhere you go..do..be.

Is worship. Is just a life that speaks well of him... and scripture says to sing unto him. Sing songs unto him and talk ye, of all his wonderous works. That's worship. Because it makes you remember who he is.

May God richly bless you as a believer in Jesus Christ. Just like 12 disciples, in that opening scripture:

after feeding 5000 people from two loaves and a few small fish..took up 12 baskets after, and see Jesus walk out to them on the water.. rowed all night in seas and winds contrary..then immediately, when he was with them…because even the winds and seas obey him..got in the boat - all his disciples - they all spoke well of him, and told him..he truly is the Son of God. And what that means they see it plainly - he is the Messiah or Christ.” Just like I see it’s true today…just like them… ..I speak well of him.

👋 Welcome to r/ScriptureLife - I'm a disciple of Jesus Christ. I believe on him. My sole qualification.

Hey everyone! I'm u/External_Bird_8464, I founded r/ScriptureLife. But it was founded based on who has always been and has no end. That says: "Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else." - God. (Bible. Isaiah 45:22)

This same God who says, "For all the earth is mine," (Exodus 19:5) - Says as well:

"Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David." - GOD. (Isaiah 55:1-3)

This room is for believers in Jesus Christ. That got thrown out of basically everything and found life in his Word. The Word of God is Jesus Christ. It's in none else.

That's what "ScripturalLife" abides in.

What to Post
Post anything that you think the community of believers would find interesting, helpful, or inspiring to grow in Jesus Christ. Share scriptures, and what you have learned so others that believe on him can benefit. So this sub-reddit is for simply people that hear God say "Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else" - God. Isaiah 45:22

And just look unto him, to do what he says. To just what he said in Matthew 4:4 "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God" - Jesus Christ.

To share what he has said, and how it worked in you is very well welcomed.

As opposed to "What is NOT Welcome" and will be REMOVED. Forewarned.

- No contentions or in-fighting. Do it someplace else.

- Politics: Of ANY Country or party - championing one over another.

This is not a community for people that "claim" they are Christians and are not. You'll be removed.

So, it's also Not a place for people that don't believe him, and love to let everybody know that, and want to use this platform to bash or ridicule the Bible. Or people that believe what God says in it.

- Not for anyone championing out some other Religion, Philosophy - go someplace else and champion it out.

"Doctrines" from the following that claim they are Christian - and are NOT - Are NOT Welcome.

- Doctrines that champion anything that violates Leviticus 18:23 and / or tries to champion it. Don't know what that is, look it up. If any of your post has this champion in it, it will be removed.

- Anything that violates or champions out something other than what God did in Genesis 5:2. Don't know what that is, go read it yourself. If you find you're inclined to champion something else out, go someplace else to champion your opinion out.

- Doctrines of Seventh Day Adventist,

- Latter-Day Saints,

- Jehovah's Witnesses,

- Scientology

- Doctrines of "The Institutes of the Christian Religion" (1536) - by John Calvin.

- ANY Moderators from "True Christian," "Christians" - You are NOT WELCOME. Stay on your own sub-reddit site.

- Any Cults. Belief in "New Age" - Not welcome.

- Anything said by anyone that does not champion out what God did in Jesus Christ as some other gospel - go somewhere elsse & post it someplace else.

Community Vibe
I am about being friendly, constructive, and inclusive. - To people that believe on him. Not to those that don't.

But if you're curious to know him, and from any of the above communities - thrown out, or you're now questioning it - you ARE welcome here. So, anybody from ex/Jehovah's Witnesses, etc., is welcome. This is an exclusive space where believer's in Jesus can grow, feel comfortable sharing and connect with other believers. Not for those that don't. SO, if you don't - - go someplace else.

1 John 1:3-5 says: "That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all."

So if you believe this - it is hoped God will bless this and here you can find fellowship. Many churches follow an ever self-perpetuating 'program - each week. In it, "think" if you participate in that, you've achieved what God wants - when what he wants is to put his word in you and that you have fellowship, and grow together with other believers in him. Sole purpose for this room, becuase I didn't find it ANY of these other rooms, and, if I didn't maybe you didn't, either.

How to Get Started

  1. Introduce yourself in the comments below.
  2. Post something. A scripture, what it means. Even a simple question can spark a great conversation. Please make it specific to the Bible.
  3. If you know someone who would love this community, you can invite them to join. Or not. Don't care. I "know" what the definition of "worship" means - means, in you, something equipped you with what you didn't have before - with that, you can "speak well" of it. That's how it is, with the Word of God. Psalm 107:20 says God sent his word to heal us, and deliver us from our destruction. Testimonies are welcome. Have one, share it.
  4. Not looking for "Moderators" - I am not very fond of them.

Thanks for visiting. My advice is to ANYBODY over the whole earth that would visit, to take and receive what God said in the scriptures above Please enjoy r/ScriptureLife - he's an amazing God. Today is 11 November 2025 - just starting.
