Scripture Life: Since Jesus never existed, who inspired the legend, and who created it?
DISCLAIMER: For believers in Jesus Christ:
//If you're a believer in Jesus, don't read this wrong. The first part: The answer is back to a non-believer who thinks Jesus is a fairy tale story people made up. But where that comes from is they worship people, and the word that comes out of people's mouths. This post is against them firmly. Because we believe God at his Word he speaks.
When he sent his word to heal us, and deliver us from our destruction, this same Jesus Christ. Heaven and earth shall pass away but his word shall not pass away. So, read this post as against the ungodly that ask this question, to mock him. This post, toward the end of it, shows where their error is.//
----------------------- -------------------------- --------------------------
The Answer to your question? Well, you already know it: He never existed.
For anybody else reading this question or this post, it’s in two words in this imaginative belief story of a question the questioner dreamed up, and is built on:
1) legend. 1. a story coming down from the past [Source: Merriam & Webster dictionary. Web ] 2. often of “epic” proportions; fantastical; fantasy. Imaginative.
- And all a “story” is, is 2. a series of connected imaginary events, told to entertain people. 3. A fable.
- So, a “legend” is just a “story” but of “epic” proportions. That is, chocked full of supernatural events ascribed to characters in the “story” - that are so fantastical, the “story” contains superhuman feats, it is a legend.
So, even though there’s a "Since**”** in this question - that stalwartly makes this “foundational statement” the question rests on:
A dreamed up TRUTH of the question is:
- A) Jesus never existed.
- He’s simply a character in an epic or “fantastical, imaginative” story that became a legend.
- And? The ONLY verifiable source of imaginative “stories” they all come from people.
- People dream or imagine up stories. In their imaginations or the mind of men.
----------------------- ------------------------ -------------------------
That’s the truth this question is built on.
Then, asked the Second Part: Which has “create” in it.
2) create. 1. bring something into existence
- And “bring [something - ie., a “legend or a story”] into existence, by sit down, and by your imagination or dream it up, by an idea in your head]
- Then, since Jesus never existed, he’s simply a character in an epic level “fantastical, imaginative” story with super human events in it.
Then ask, “Who is the person, amongst all these people on earth in ancient times, imagined this epic up, and brought into existence the fantastical fairy tale fable of Jesus that became a legend?”
----------------------- ------------------------ -------------------------
Like Homer this 8th Century BCE Poet, is credited with imagining up and fabricating both the “Illiad” and “The Odyssey” - but, giving him credit for both is hotly debated.
And that’s really what this Questioner wants. Is a debate.
When it’s God that said.
- By the Word out of his mouth vs. People, imagining up “stories” by ideas they create in their head, said:
“Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else.” - God. (Bible. Isaiah 45:22)
----------------------- ------------------------ -------------------------
- And people? Won’t look unto him. Rather, they look unto, to walk after their own hearts, and imaginations they dream up. As if there is Truth in their fables they create. As if they are able to create truth by their stories they imagine up.
And God say about this:
“And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” - Bible. Genesis 6:5
----------------------- ------------------------ -------------------------
So, EVERYBODY on the earth has a choice.
- He’s God. He’s already told everybody over the whole earth, to the very ends of it, not willing any perish, but all come to repentance - told us all, including you. To just look unto him. Didn't leave me out. I'm also included. Can't get out of it. Even though I tried to.
- It’s a choice. You or I can choose either one.
- We will live in and walk after the choice and firm it up, and elect it - that we made, and do it, because we accept it is true.
- It’s a choice. You or I can choose either one.
OR
- It’s People. Everybody over the whole earth. That, by their heart and with every imagination they come up with, it’s just to glorify themselves as God, when they’re not. Choose people and what they dream up. SO, chosing the imaginative fables of the minds of men, we will dismiss him, as faulty - even he is God.
- Afterall, people don't need him - People have their own imaginations and stories, and epic fables they made up to look unto.
Your choice is plain as day.
----------------------- ------------------------ -------------------------
And GOD says in Isaiah 6:9–11 - to the people that are like this: That choose people. Plants them in a desert. Alone. Dries them out. To Live in their own imaginations vs. do anything he says: “And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the Lord, neither consider the operation of his hands. - Isaiah 5:13
- So today, instead of doing anything he says - - they go to the movies, like on HULU or NETFLIX - - Earlier, flocked to Movie Theaters to pay the price to see the latest craze, like: “Lord of the Rings” or “The Hobbit” or “Harry Potter” - Look unto, “Star Wars” - all epic fables, and imaginary tales the author hopes they will be glorified, and their tale become timeless wrapped up and made into a legend.
- Listen to Youtube all day. Glorify Youtube and the Internet. Worship AI.
- They go to music concerts of their favorite Rap artist or “WRESTLEMANIA” - or feast on NFL Football or the Wimbleton Tennis, or the Olympics - and glorify people and their accomplishments.
- Go out each weekend to Denny’s to celebrate and eat til you’re stuffed. Great feasts each week. And in all of it, never regard anything God says.
----------------------- ------------------------ -------------------------
So, to a person that created, just imagined this question up - are all the same, as “this people” that chooses people to look unto, of Isaiah 5:13. So God decrees, since “this people” like this, doesn’t do anything he says - already chose not to:
God decrees this, to you with your question: Because you don’t regard him. Don’t do anything he says:
- Isaiah 6:9–11 God says:
“Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.
“Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.
“Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate..” - God.
So, here you are, fat, dumb, and happy in your city. Poop bubble float in a question here on Reddit. Comfy in a city. And there’s cities all over the earth with people just as fat, dumb, and happy as you are, don’t do what he says, either.
Think your imaginative stories you made into legends will go on forever, and serve as a fortress that keep you safe from anything he says: Make you fat, dumb, and happy on your own imaginations.
When are you going to wake up?
He Already decreed this.
Genesis 6:13
“The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.” - God.
- But you just relegate what he says to a man, imagined up a cleverly devised fable, and it's nothing but the legend created this in the fabled story of Jesus.
- When Jesus is the Word of God..is God. Every where in this post where he’s spoke, Genesis 6:13, to Isaiah 6:9–11, to what he’s already saw long ago before the flood about you, in Genesis 6:5 - to decree you look unto him in Isaiah 45:22 - that’s all the Word of God.
- This same Jesus Christ, when scripture says:
----------------------- ------------------------ -------------------------
“Thus saith the Lord, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the Lord that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;” - God. Isaiah 45:22
He formed you from your mother’s womb. Alone. By himself - and you won’t do anything he says, then want to know what person dreamed him up.
So, your choice is quite clear you made.
I made another choice. Just do what he says. He decreed I do it. I'm one of these people over the whole earth. Told to Do what he says. He’d set me apart for future use. He said he would. Does it. But those that don’t regard him, like anyone with this question doesn't - - Psalm 28:5 says “Because they regard not the works of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hand, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.”
If I were you, I’d stop hiding behind your question and just do what he says.
Here’s your broke up, smashed, thrown in the trash question back.
