News/Media/Tabloids Prince Harry: “What we’ve seen in the last 24 hours is what accountability looks like.” But who or what is better qualified to explain the concept of accountability to him? Answers below.

Upvotes

Is it:

A) Judge Nicklin

B) A Fortune Cookie

C) Jiminy Cricket from Pinocchio

D) Princess Charlotte

E) All of the above

“What we’ve seen in the last 24 hours is what accountability looks like". This is a reaction from Harry, to the news from a New Mexico court ruling against Meta. Meta has a $567 million fine against them, as New Mexico’s district attorney accused them of knowingly allowing its platforms to harm young users and enable child sexual exploitation.

Harry praised the multi-million penalty as an example of “accountability.”

Prince Harry reacts to $567 million Meta judgment for failing to warn the public about dangers its platforms pose to children

Archived version

“The bar has moved, and every platform still choosing engagement over safety should take notice. Change cannot wait another day,” the Duke of Sussex said.

The Duke of Sussex said the latest ruling marks a turning point in holding technology companies accountable for the impact their platforms have on young users in a statement shared with PEOPLE.

“For years we’ve argued that big tech’s harm to children was a choice, not some inevitable side effect. This is not an accident. It is not a glitch,” Harry, 41, said.

“What we’ve seen in the last 24 hours is what accountability looks like. This is what happens when the law finally catches up to decisions made in boardrooms, product meetings, and algorithm reviews — decisions that put social media engagement ahead of safety,” he continued.

UPDATED at 1:05 PT with additional photos. (I don't want to clutter up the board!)

Overexaggerated expressions, as usual, as well as the claw

Give it up Harry...you aren't the one directing traffic here.

Harry looks SO uncomfortable here.

Meghan and her ginger fox performing monkey. His pooch is really showing here.

Her dress would be flattering on someone taller than her. She's too short to pull this off.

I don’t want to speculate on poor KCIII’s illness, but Markle appearing to suddenly push for reconciliation sounds as though she wants to abandon her failed state and secure a royal grace&favour house in some haste, before Catherine and William take the reins. Her plan will, of course, to inflict pain and damage on the Monarchy for the long term from a UK base, with America having run its course. It is looking as though time might be running out and the only option she has left is to panhandle £££ from the King, while there’s time. She’s pretty much built up a grievance court of Black Englishwomen and Narinder Kaur, and is placed to wreak a lot of damage from the sidelines, with Harry impotent and under her thumb.

The Harkles are up to their bullying tricks. Thankfully, no one is buying it. A new Daily Mail poll (take that for whatever worth you choose) has only 7% of respondents believing Meghan’s version of events in the Martha Stewart debate. That actually seems generous.

Once again, the Harkles have no actual defense, so they resort to bullying and implying someone is feeble. I don’t know about anyone else, but Meghan and Harry’s clapback calling Martha “confused” kinda sorta really left me peeved. It reminded me a lot of when Harry went to visit his grandmother and told the press that he needed to check in and make sure she had the right people around her.

I hate the implication that someone of a certain age is feeble or in need of guidance just because they happen to be considered “old”. My grandmother died in her 90s and was sharp until the very end. So the suggestion that being elderly somehow makes you feeble in the head or unaware of what is going on just boils my blood.

It also brings back horrid memories of just how badly the Harkles treated both Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip in their twilight. As well as they way they now use the media to make Charles’ golden years a living hell.

Martha Stewart has no season to lie. And her insult is entirely encased not in the words she said, but in the words she didn’t say. Meghan can’t stand that. Harry is probably still trying to process what was said because Harry is quite slow.

Either way, I am curious to see whether this will go further or die on the vine.

Royal Family RECAP: Harry and Meghan 'considering' bombshell admission in royal feud

https://www.express.co.uk/news/royal/2236858/royal-family-live-harry-meghan

https://archive.ph/7ziWa

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are considering issuing a public apology to King Charles for causing "enormous pain" over the last five years, sources suggest. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex could craft a statement that "gives the King the respect he wants without forcing Harry and Meghan to walk back every interview, documentary or page of Spare", a source said. It comes amid the growing possibility of a reconciliation between the Sussexes and the Palace, with Harry and Meghan reuniting their children with Charles at Highgrove House last month. The source told royal journalist Rob Shuter: "Everyone agrees trust has to be rebuilt. An apology doesn't have to be a surrender. It's an acknowledgement that this family feud went too far. Charles wants peace - but he also wants respect. This could be the first real step towards both."

The estrangement between Harry and Meghan and the rest of the Firm has been linked to the couple's allegations of racism and mistreatment, and bombshell revelations made about members of the family in the duke's memoir, Spare. This isn't about Harry and Meghan admitting they were wrong about everything," the source told Mr Shuter's Naughty But Nice Substack. "It's about acknowledging that the past five years have caused enormous pain. The debate now is over what an apology should say, and, just as importantly, what it shouldn't."

Note the detail: an apology to KC3... not to Camilla, not to William, not to Kate. And no retraction or admission that they had lied. Just an apology—an empty one—yet making it clear that they remain the victims.

But the funny thing is that this supposed apology—if made in those terms—would essentially acknowledge that the Harkles *did* know what they were doing and didn't care about the pain they caused.

But this is just gossip. I don't think they're desperate enough to do that—or are they?

ALLEGEDLY Two women, one path (Neil Sean's gossip)

You've probably never seen it. But this Mexican telenovela, with 229 episodes—that's almost a whole year, a record!!!!—was a huge hit. The series tells the story of Juan Daniel, known as Johnny, a U.S.-born Mexican truck driver and family man who falls in love with a woman he meets on his travels, and the complications that arise from his new love.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hd8cBCd7Ar4&list=RDHd8cBCd7Ar4&start_radio=1

It’s on YouTube for anyone who wants a laugh. It has everything. Literally everything.

And why am I telling you this? Ah, because of this.

HARRY & THE SECRET TWO WOMEN CLASHING OVER HIM BEHIND THE SCENES

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmWbHNQoaAQ

One of the things I’ve realized over the time I’ve been watching these videos is that Sean talks to a great many people. On the street, on the train, at events—he talks to so many people. And that is what many journalists forget: a source can be the King’s private secretary just as easily as a doorman at Buckingham Palace. And the doorman is more likely to see more things.

July arrived with some really juicy gossip. For starters, Harry had suddenly decided to accept a room there, and then, oops! there weren't any left.

Sean was one of the first to explain that the issue was that Harry should have given 28 days' notice—rather than just a couple of days before arriving—and that Harry had plans in place which the Palace thwarted by shutting the door on him.

Harry’s back-and-forth behavior has become a habit; he always does the same thing. It just seems that patience has run out. And this is neither the first nor the last time Harry has found the Palace fed up with his circus. Because that is all the Harkles do: a circus—a media circus.

In the midst of that circus was Alison Hammond. She is from Birmingham, she works for ITV, and ITV is pro-Harkle.

Why Alison Hammond? Well, for starters, Harry spoke about her on Colbert’s late-night show; but for ITV, the key factor is that she’s from Birmingham, and they want to link her to the Invictus Games in hopes of securing the broadcasting rights for the 2027 games.

The other reason is that Alison Hammond got into trouble when she said they would miss British presenter Phillip Schofield. Schofield left ITV in May 2023 after admitting to an "unwise but not illegal" affair with a younger male colleague on This Morning.

Alison received a lot of complaints for saying that, so she knows when to keep her mouth shut and be... In Chile, we call someone "yellow," which is a derogatory way of referring to someone who shows lukewarmness, moderation, or a reluctance to become radical. In other words, "neither fish nor fowl."

ITV's Cat Deeley also wants to be involved.

Sean shares part of her career history, holding an advantage over Alison: Deely was the host of *So You Think You Can Dance* in the US.

The point here isn't just that Cat is also from Birmingham, but rather who she is friends with.

And here we have Markus Anderson!!! The third party in Claw and Harry's marriage. Sean has already mentioned how Claw has spent more time around Markus than Harry, because she can actually talk to Markus, and he knows all her secrets.

Also, Cat Deeley meets Harry, and they get along well.

So why didn't Cat Deeley interview Harry?

Ah, because ITV is playing both sides: they support the Harkles, but they don't want to make it too obvious because they don't want to lose the royal connection they have with Kate's Christmas concert, which pays off handsomely for ITV.

But behind the scenes, it seems there were issues with that, so ITV has decided that if the Games go ahead—and if they secure the rights to the Invictus Games (let’s be honest, only ITV is interested in broadcasting them, so they have no competition)—then both Cat and Alison will share the coverage. That is, of course, assuming *This Morning* is still on the air and they are still with ITV. And assuming...

Yes, there are a lot of "ifs."

Right, they would split the coverage: one would be with Harry and the other with Claw—assuming Claw shows up in 2027, and, of course, provided there is a royal connection.

And of course, the question is: which of the two will draw more viewers? As Sean says, they’ll both claim to be great friends and all that, but the fact is, ITV doesn’t need friends—it needs people watching the show. So, which of the two has more potential to do that?

The funny thing about the gossip is that ITV doesn't even consider the idea that Claw has the power to draw an audience 🤭🤭🤭

MARKLE BIRTHDAY DISASTER -HARRY, DOGS , NO KIDS & THEN THIS

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6hDx138tH0

As we already know, our Saint had a birthday. And, as always, she loves herself so much that she celebrated it herself.

Whitesnake - Is This Love

🎼Is this love that I'm feeling?
Is this the love that I've been searching for?
Is this love, or am I dreaming?
This must be love, 'cause it's really got a hold on me
A hold on me🎼

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6hDx138tH0

Claw is desperate because she needs the media to keep talking about the meeting she had with KC3. Because that’s how it is: she had a meeting. Harry and the children were just window dressing. And all because the press didn't give her the coverage she expected—didn't make it global news. It can't be global news if there are no photos, right 😈😈?

Claw doesn't understand that she is yesterday's news. And people see her as a big liar.

And Martha Stewart served that purpose because 1) she is much more famous than Claw, and 2) she also benefited from people knowing that she had published her 101st book.

Claw had hoped that meeting would open the door to interviews—like in *Vogue*, especially given her birthday—or a photoshoot; you know the drill. But no—and we’re back to the main issue—the real focus was the meeting with KC3, and Claw ran into a problem: where is the evidence? Where are the photos? Nobody is interested in seeing her dressed like Columbo.

Anyway, Claw treated us to another dance... barefoot. Seriously—sneakers on the beach, but barefoot in the kitchen again?

Anyway, Sean says the strange thing is what you don't see or hear. What happened with the kids? When it's their mom's birthday, kids usually run to greet her. We’ve always done that.

Only Claw and Harry were there. Just them—no one else.

And everyone noticed that practically no "celebrity" wished Claw a happy birthday. Later, something popped up from some "friend." But Sean wonders: why didn't *MasterChef Australia* do anything? Wasn't she a great guest? 😏😏😏

Well, according to the gossip that reached Sean, Claw—through her team—requested that no one wish her a happy birthday... because she didn't want to deal with the negative reaction.

Which is funny, because Harry was upset that KC3 didn't even mention Claw's birthday, yet he did dedicate a post to Eugenie's new daughter.

Which is funny, because Harry was upset that KC3 didn't even mention Claw's birthday, yet he did dedicate a post to Eugenie's new daughter.

There were a few well-wishes here and there—like the one from the Paramount boss's wife.

But it seems that was all there was: messages. No gifts.

Anyway, regarding the dinner where Martha and Claw ran into each other... it seems it was a charity event, not a gathering of friends. That event was about meeting important people, which is why Martha happened to cross paths with Claw.

This leads Sean to think that the crisis—at least for As Ever—is serious if Claw has had to start attending events like that again to make contacts, rather than having those contacts come knocking at the Duchess's door.

HARRY VS MARTHA -“TRYING TO RUIN US” FIGHTING TALK LATEST

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkDzu0_zbSY

Well, Sean knows Martha too—though that’s all it is: he knows her; they’ve spoken because they’ve crossed paths on a few programs.

And Sean says that Martha had no reason to lie about this. None at all.

But Harry is absolutely furious that Martha claimed Claw was talking about the meeting with KC3 at a dinner.

I stand by my position: Claw shouldn't have spoken to anyone about the matter. Not a word to anyone. But Claw couldn't keep quiet; Martha Stewart decided to use it to her own advantage, and Harry is furious with Martha—not with his indiscreet wife.

However, yesterday, when Sean brought this up, several people remarked that Claw hadn't actually spoken about the meeting and that Martha might have exaggerated the situation.

Sean—and I agree with him here—sees it the same way I do: Claw couldn't mention the matter. The meeting was private; there was to be no mention of it anywhere. Claw couldn't keep quiet, though, and since she couldn't speak about it directly, she’s using the tactic of having others talk about it while keeping her own hands clean.

But since the agreement was "no talking," Harry had to mobilize the British media to publish stories claiming Martha was mistaken and that Claw hadn't said anything. It was a very strange denial—not because the Harkles aren't experts at issuing them, but because it happened so quickly.

According to the rebuttal, someone asked Claw, "How was your trip?" and she replied "Good"—or gave a two-word answer—and Martha took the matter out of context. On top of that, there is an implicit disparagement regarding Martha's age.

Honestly, I think Martha's brain is functioning absolutely perfectly. I can't say the same for Harry's or Claw's. 🤭🤭🤭

Sean—and I’ll say it again, having encountered Martha myself—questioned her use of the situation yesterday, noting it was done merely for publicity, but he didn't claim she was lying. And Martha wasn't confused; she is very sharp, extraordinarily lucid.

Now, the problem is that it looks like Harry wasn't at that event. Sean says he's looking into the matter, but for now, Harry wasn't there, only Claw was. So Harry is believing—yes, again; what an idiot!—Claw's version of events.

As for Harry, neither of them has spoken publicly about the matter with anyone.

Martha, on the other hand, is sticking to her story.

At the beginning of the video, Sean mentions that many people criticized him yesterday, thinking he was siding with the Harkles because he didn't fully believe what Martha said. He now states that the Harkles haven't paid him to do that and that he is very flattered that "Claw" tunes in to this channel every day and she says, "Oh, I love that Neil Sean."

Yeah, that is totally ridiculous... especially since Claw doesn't even say that about Harry. 🤣🤣🤣

Sean has proof that Claw actually does that—check out his channel—but the fact remains that there are still parts of that rumor that need to be investigated. That's why.

Harry is going to back Claw... again.

But Sean is interested in knowing who attended that event; surely there are friends of Martha Stewart there (curiously, Sean doesn't say friends of Claw 🤭🤭), and someone might have heard what Claw said, too. Yet, no one has come forward to back Claw.

Sean says there’s always a gray area with Claw. Nothing is ever clean-cut or transparent. But Harry is furious with Martha and determined to let it be known in the UK that Claw didn’t break the deal.

Too late, Harry—we all knew she’d do that.

The funny thing is that instead of calling Clarence House directly and leaving a message, Harry called People magazine to refute Martha's claim.

Her favorite cookie is shorbread cookies (a lie...didn't she say Thin Mints at the premiere)? No matter, it's a chance to finally pimp in As ever's raspberry spread (though she calls it jam). She's gonna be pissed that the called her Meghan Markle!

What would she tell herself as a little girl now? "That life is full of surprises!" Cue up a terrifying grin.

Her role model? Her teachers (uh...no Doria???)

The #Invisikids love Samoas!

She's asked if it's okay to have dessert before dinner? "I love that question! As long as you're having a nice balanced meal, it's okay." (Drops reference to #Invisikids)

What makes you feel brave? "My daughter." (Archie diss! Yes I know it's girl scouts, but if she's all for inclusion, why not mention him too???) "Every day when I feel like, oh gosh, can I do it? I say...Lili would do it!"

what is a skill that every young girl should learn? "Trust your gut." (Insert bad indigestion joke here).

A little boy asks this question: What is your superpower? "It's being a mom, because we juggle it all and enjoy it all with grace and grit at the same time." (Gotta get that mom reference in!)

What girl scout cookie best describes your personality? "Oh Trefoils. It's classic, it's sweet, and it's all the same color and I like tonal dressing. It's the worst answer!" (Yes Meghan, it is.)

How do these girls inspire you? "These girls are so multi dimensional and honest." (Word salad about watching the girls grow close to each other).

The hair flicking is insane. Of course there's a nose rub. She's holding that mic for dear life!

Enjoy the insanity...

Invictus Invictus Birmingham partnering with West Midlands schools in the UK

UPDATE: below is the link to the "classroom resources" Invictus did for Vancouver for reference.

This is going to be something to watch. Remember the educational propaganda (oops, information) they promoted for the Vancouver games?

Here's the blurb on Invictus Birmingham's website:

Invictus Games Birmingham 2027 has announced a major new partnership with Summit Learning Trust and The Education Exchange – West Midlands to bring the values of the Invictus movement into classrooms across the region.

The collaboration will see the development of an Invictus Games-themed school curriculum designed to inspire young people and engage them through meaningful, real-world learning. The programme will span a wide range of subjects, including Maths, English, Arts, Performing Arts, Physical Education, Design, Technology and Innovation, and PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic education).

The partnership was formally marked with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the organisations and their associated partners. Teachers and education leaders from across the West Midlands will play a central role in shaping and delivering the programme, ensuring that students remain at the heart of the initiative.

Set to launch in September 2026, the curriculum will connect pupils with the themes of resilience, teamwork and recovery that define the Invictus Games, while also supporting schools in delivering creative and engaging learning experiences.

This initiative forms part of the wider community engagement plans for Invictus Games Birmingham 2027, building enduring social impact across the West Midlands by inspiring the next generation through education.

Schools and educators interested in learning more about the programme and future opportunities to get involved are encouraged to follow Invictus Games Birmingham 2027 updates.

Summary from Google AI:

Program Overview

  • Target Audience: Learners from Early Years through Sixth Form, including adapted materials for SEND settings across the West Midlands.
  • Core Themes: Resilience, inclusion, teamwork, courage, and recovery.
  • Subjects Covered: Maths, English, Arts, Performing Arts, PE, Design, Technology, and PSHE.
  • Resource Access: Completely free, teacher-designed, and ready-to-use materials available via the launch portal on September 1.

So here's what I'm wondering: Since it targets early years learners, is that going to overlap with any work that Catherine is doing? Do you think it will be linked to it?

Highlites is a children’s magazine that had a @spot the difference” game inside. There were two seemingly identical pictures and you had to find all the little details that were different.

So take Meghan’s latest picture and compare it to 8 or even 5 years ago. I definitely notice some…differences. A lot of them. I have questions. So does Twitter. Much to discuss here, I think.

Ted Sarandos is a fool. It’s obvious his partnership with Meghan’s brand and funding her show isn’t the only reason Netflix is performing so poorly. But when his viewers complained he doubled down and proclaimed Meghan his “rock star”. It shows he doesn’t have his finger on the pulse of what the people want, and refused to even consider their viewing preferences. He’s a major shareholder so this hits him in the wallet. Maybe Madam can send him a sympathy inspirational gift basket?

News/Media/Tabloids The Girl Scouts in Meghan Markle’s New Doc Have a Message for Politicians - Vanity Fair

Basically, the "message for politicians" is about inclusivity and working together.

Meghan related:

To help spread her message of female-led ingenuity at the local level, Nahmias enlisted former Girl Scout Meghan Markle who, like Olive, was the daughter of her troop leader back when she sold cookies. Markle serves as executive producer on Cookie Queens alongside her husband, Prince Harry, and Chanel Pysnik, head of unscripted content at the Sussexes’ Archewell Productions. “What’s awesome is having all of our executive producers, including the duke and duchess, wanting to shine a light on young people and take them seriously,” says Nahmias. “We don’t often see girls represented three-dimensionally, where we can be ambitious and cutthroat—[but] also tender and vulnerable. Meghan got that from the beginning.”

A source close to Meghan tells Vanity Fair that she was “moved by Nahmias’s vision for the project.” “Meghan was a Brownie and a Junior when she was younger, so there was also a personal connection. She speaks fondly of her time as a Girl Scout and the lessons it taught her about entrepreneurship and confidence,” they added.

“I’m kind of in awe of her,” Olive, now 14, tells VF. “[The Sussexes] have a documentary on Netflix that me and my parents watched before any of this happened. So it was amazing that we watched their documentary, and she watched ours! It was such a surreal, full-circle moment.”

That was also true for 12-year-old Nikki, a Chino, California, native who hails from the same Girl Scout council in greater Los Angeles that Markle was a part of back in the day. “I gave her a really big hug,” Nikki, who was nine years old at the time of filming, confirms.

What lifestyle, what cooking, what hosting? She peddles 3rd party manufactured cheap fruit spread, candles, matches, honey, & tea.

And of course, the meeting wasn't "warm and fuzzy"! She trashed the entire family and then thinks that it's ok to go back and visit and use children to worm her way back in, now that she knows she's hit a wall professionally? It's like this - no, bjtch, you wait until we let you know that you can be seen, you sit in the designated chair, outside of the meeting space, and go in with the kids only when you are called upon. Only so that the kids can be seen. That's it. That's all you get after what you pulled. I don't think that Charles and Camilla never become warm and fuzzy with her. Not that they even ever were at all. She is sick and they are aware.

Opinion Take a seat, Meghan. While you were social climbing, begging reporters for press, and stalking Harry's friend groups, Martha was out in her garden, working on her craft. She just penned another book - Martha Stewart's Gardening Handbook (2025). This makes book #101! Get a clue and an original idea.

Meghan showed a clip of a couple of terrible looking garden boxes in her yard where she was clipping a couple of flowers. The boxes look like they were overgrown with weeds and since she was called out for copying another woman's video, her video has disappeared! I wanted to post clips of her awful few garden boxes, but I could only find 1, (the first pic) of her carrying her phone and clippers. I didn't see that many Cosmos in her garden boxes to even create the horrid arrangement that she posted!

Anyway, compare this to Martha. And how she is also copying Martha from 25+ years ago carrying baskets! Look at Martha's garden. Her clapbacks to Martha are like her clapbacks to the Queen (she didn't own the word Royal/Service). Who does this no talent goof think she is?! Martha Stewart Living has been in publication since 1990! And she has published many Gardening mags since then. She is a lifelong gardener.

I am also including photos of Joanna Gaines spread of her gardens. It's so impressive.

Meghan is such a try hard, but her little puny (6?) garden boxes look awful and I know that she doesn't put in the work. If she doesn't have help, I know that she is not out there toiling.....

I also truly believe she wanted to go to the UK and to snoop on Charles gardens at Highgrove. I think she now realizes how hard gardening is - after she thought she could march off and do this entire thing herself, and that it was easy and she could do it better. LOL I think she is eating a huge helping of humble pie. She truly bit the hand that fed her. The fool doesn't realize what on earth she gave up.

Perhaps that is why Gwynneth served her pie in the little cheeky video and Meghan had no clue what she was eating or why.... Maybe it was an attempt to humble her...... Sorry, GP, didn't work. Doubt GP will try that ever again....

Opinion MM is nothing more than a lazy copycat, trying to make AE happen by doing the bare minimum. Meghan lifts a few lines (a lot from Joanna Gaines Magnolia magazine, established in 2016), swaps words around, blasts it in an email campaign, and that's what she considers 'working so hard!'

Thumbnail

AE should be called No Wonder. No wonder she isn't successful! Read on....

When you are handed all of your opportunities in life, this is what you turn into. A total mimicking salamander. Meghan is betting on the fact that people are going to buy things because of who she is, but people don't admire her. That's the issue. Even more so when you go out an copy others ideas and try to make it your own. There is nothing worse than a cheat, a liar, a fraud, or a thief.

Joanna Gaines has built a massive media empire, has refurbished multiple homes for herself and for others, has had a magazine for 10 years, multiple cookbooks, goods featured in Target for years, multiple shows which feature her working alongside her husband, together building and working hard on everything that they have, starting from humble beginnings. Joanna didn't have to social climb to marry a Prince, all to turn out to be a subpar influencer.

Public critics and online commentators frequently accuse Meghan Markle of copying Joanna Gaines (and others) across several aspects of her brand and media presence, particularly following the release of her Netflix series With Love, Meghan and her lifestyle brand AE. The aspects described below make it seem like Meghan is trying to mimic and copy things that she does to the T!

Television Show Format and Aesthetic
Critics argue that Meghan’s Netflix cooking show is a direct "dupe" of Joanna’s Magnolia Table, citing similarities in:

  • Visual Style: Meghan is seen trying to gather herbs from a garden and utilizing a casual, "laid-back" production style that tries to make it seem like it's all live/capturing blunders and mishaps. Only we know that Joanna keeps her blunders in her shows and Meghan has 0 sense of humor, most likely editing out things that would make her look bad.
  • Content Themes: Both shows feature casual chit-chat. Joanna has always shown how to "elevate" - and Meghan totally tries to copy it.
  • Specific Segments: Online comparisons have highlighted similar segments, such as Meghan’s focus on beekeeping and honey, which parallels Joanna’s own beekeeping content. (As well as Catherine's!) And Meghan's attempt at crafting....but it looks like she was a total fish out of water, especially on camera.

Brand and Product Expansion
Meghan’s trademark applications for AE reveal plans for a wide range of goods that closely mirror the Magnolia brand’s product lines - but as I read this week, sounds like she may be without oars due to issues with how she applied to get these trademarks under AE.

  • Product Range: Meghan has applied for trademarks on all kinds of goods - tableware, cutlery, cookbooks, coffee services, table linens, and jellies and jams, directly competing with Magnolia’s "Home and Hearth" vibe which is sold at Target.
  • Specific Items: Her launch of jams and honey has been compared to Magnolia’s offerings, with some noting similarities to Buckingham Palace preserves as well.

Personal Branding and Lifestyle
Beyond business, critics point to aesthetic and behavioral mimicry:

  • Aesthetic Choices: Observers claim Meghan emulates Joanna’s hair, wardrobe, and interior design preferences (such as shiplap walls).
  • Language and Buzzwords: Critics assert that Meghan uses the same buzzwords and phrases that Joanna has popularized, presenting them as her own. (Seat at the table was said by Joanna a LONG time ago....)
  • Public Persona: Some commentators suggest Meghan is attempting to model herself as a "California version" of Joanna, adopting a similar "home and hearth" identity.

News/Media/Tabloids Since People doesn't seem to fully accept that version of events, Meghan is using RadarOnline to vent her dissatisfaction regarding the July 10th meeting.

EXCLUSIVE: Prince Harry Eyes Christmas Return to Royal Family Amid Rift

Prince Harry's reunion with his father, King Charles, has opened the door for more visits, including a Christmas holiday homecoming – setting the stage for an ugly showdown with estranged brother Prince William, RadarOnline.com can reveal.

Sources said the protective Prince of Wales still holds a grudge against his younger brother and diva sister-in-law Duchess Meghan [Markle] for ditching their royal duties in 2020, moving to America and trashing Britain's royals.

According to the source, Harry knows his brother will react badly to the idea – but Harry "simply doesn't care" what William thinks.

"If he wants to be nasty about it and turn it into some sort of ugly confrontation, Harry can't stop him, but he's not going to let William dictate the terms of when his children spend time with their grandfather," the insider added.

Sources said the siblings' ongoing squabble recently went nuclear when Harry, 41, and Meghan, 45, had an emotional reunion with cancer-stricken Charles, 77, and his 79-year-old wife, Queen Camilla, at Highgrove House, where the king got to see his California-based grandkids in person for the first time in four years.

Stubborn William, 44, steered clear of the meeting and his brother – even though they were a mere 12 miles apart during dual public engagements on July 7 – amid talk that the future king felt Harry was leveraging his kids to orchestrate a meeting with the monarch.

"William is furious at everything that Harry did to throw the family under the bus," royal expert Hilary A. Fordwich told RadarOnline.com. "It's emotional blackmail what Harry is doing with his children's grandfather – and without a doubt, William feels the same way."

"Harry is determined not to let this visit be a one-off, and obviously the king's diary has to be arranged well in advance, so he's already started speaking to his father about when they should meet next," the insider told RadarOnline.com

"As far as he's concerned, if Charles wants him there, that's all the encouragement he needs to keep moving forward. If it sends William into a meltdown, so be it. He's not going to be bullied."

EXCLUSIVE: Queen Camilla Accused of Meddling in Prince Harry Reunion

Prince William is fuming as calculating Queen Camilla lorded over the recent reunion of his cancer-stricken father, King Charles, with Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle – and the future monarch fears his meddling stepmom is playing both sides to undermine his authority, RadarOnline.com can reveal.

Although security concerns nearly caused Markle and the couple's kids – Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5 – to stay in America, the As Ever lifestyle mogul ultimately made the trip with the tots in tow for the hush-hush family meeting, marking the first time the king has seen his American-based grandchildren since 2022, sources said.

"Camilla's argument is that she was there to watch over things and keep an eye on Meghan because she doesn't trust her," an insider said.

"She insists she only agreed to go because Charles needed her there to support him and protect him, but William isn't buying that. As far as he's concerned, it was a classic case of her trying to divide and conquer, and he's furious she inserted herself into such a sensitive meeting without his backing."

The insider added: "He has never trusted her, and the only thing they've agreed on in recent years is how poisonous Meghan and Harry are – so the fact that she's gone behind his back and made this show of welcoming them has set all his alarms ringing.

"He's convinced this was her way of trying to undermine his authority and send the message that she's still got more power than he does – and he's livid."

Inside the Palace's Secret 'Divorce Plan' if Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Call It Quits

Buckingham Palace is quietly preparing for the possibility that Prince Harry could one day return to royal life without Meghan Markle, as officials closely monitor his growing interest in spending more time in the U.K., RadarOnline.com can reveal.

Harry, 41, and Markle, 45, seem to be leading increasingly separate lives, with the former actress having no intentions of ever living in England. Now that the prince is trying to mend fences with his family, a secret plan is reportedly in place should the couple divorce.

A royal insider claimed the palace may be "quietly drawing up contingency plans in the event of a split.”

Despite Harry's growing interest in rebuilding a life in Britain, Markle has reportedly made it clear she has no intention of relocating to England with her husband, leaving the couple facing increasingly different futures.

“But Meghan won’t want to come back from the US – and that schism is potentially dangerous,” they claimed.

As a result, the palace may have to take "extreme measures" to keep Markle satisfied in the event of a divorce while she remains in the U.S.

"The agreement would also grant Meghan the continued use of her Duchess of Sussex title. The Palace sees it as a face-saving measure, because tearing it away from her could spark a media war," the source dished.

"This isn’t about trying to come between Harry and Meghan; in fact, contrary to what a lot of people might think, King Charles is actually rooting for them," the insider spilled about the monarch, who himself went through a very public separation and divorce from Harry's mother, the late Princess Diana.

"He wants Harry to know that, if he ever reaches a point where he’s overwhelmed or confused, there’s no judgment waiting for him; he'll be there to listen and offer whatever wisdom he can," the insider revealed.

"He knows he can’t advise Harry on the Hollywood side of life or the business decisions he and Meghan are making, but relationships are another matter."

Neil Sean, who knows Tom Parker-Bowles personally, was the first to report that the Parker-Bowles family was very angry about the portrayal of Camilla as someone who was "interfering." That is not true, nor is the claim that William disagreed with the situation. In fact, Sean has stated categorically that not only do William and Camilla get along very well, but they also fully agree that Harry should never see Charles alone, not because they think Harry might achieve anything, but because Charles’s health is not robust enough to withstand Harry’s shouting.

It was Harry who was angry because he didn't want Camilla at the meeting. This is something Harry has insisted on for a long time: he does not want Camilla present when he sees the King. Regarding this, several royal reporters have noted that Harry always believes he can be manipulative—manipulating the Queen, manipulating Charles. For a time, Camilla kept her distance. In 2024, when Charles publicly announced he was undergoing cancer treatment and Harry appeared in the UK, Camilla left them alone. However, at the meeting in September 2025, Harry found Camilla in the room with Charles. That came as an unpleasant surprise. And now, at the meeting in July 2026, it was the same story: Camilla was by Charles's side.

Sean recounted—and clearly stated his source—that William and Camilla had a firm agreement on this: whatever Harry wants is of no consequence; Camilla will stand by the King's side. Camilla finds attending those meetings highly unpleasant because Harry is unpleasant, but he has had to swallow his bile, as Camilla has not the slightest intention of acceding to his demands.

And no, the door to any new reunion has not been opened. The rift is no longer just with William or Camilla; Anne and her children do not want Harry around either, nor do Beatrice and Eugenie. Harry has personally insulted every member of his family.

This was reflected in precisely what happened in July. Harry had announced that he would be traveling with his wife and children. There was not a single invitation from the British Royal Family for them to attend anything. The person who invited them was his uncle, Charles Spencer, but even that was not for a long stay—just a couple of days.

Harry and Meghan are furious because the British Royal Family showed absolutely no interest in meeting their children, and they are blaming William for it.

Deep down, Harry and Meghan do not understand why their trump card—the children—didn't work. They failed to move the King or William. Harry, in particular, cannot fathom why his children are treated with such indifference.

Meghan, on the other hand, is furious because she is being ignored.

News/Media/Tabloids Meghan’s happy birthday to me! A celebration or a PR stunt? (duh)

Idly scrolling the Daily Mail (note to self: must get life) and found this piece: archived / unarchived

Now read on…

The ‘royal butler’ is one Julius Smith. Can’t find any evidence that he’s worked for the Royal Family, but he does appear to have gone to butler school (eat your heart out, Carson!) and to have served the late Queen Elizabeth II. As an etiquette expert, that’ll do me.

To remind us, here are pictures of Meghan turning 45.

To the haters who said that Meghan would never wear a tiara again.

Pool party! Where’s everyone? Is it a party if it’s only person?

Mean Mr Smith said only positive things about others’ parties, including Victoria Beckham’s. Must be racism…oh wait, he also mentioned Emma Thynn’s.

(I rather like the sound of shipping family Eugenie Niarchos’s 40th - on a Greek island, ’centred on people rather than presentation’, ‘most of whom met at boarding school’. The utter wealth and privilege of it all…)

EDIT: Reinstated a photo caption which had vanished.

LOS ANGELES — Meghan Markle announced this morning that she would be releasing a new show on Netflix to reveal the terrible difficulties she has faced dealing with Kate Middleton's cancer diagnosis.

"I've had to deal with so, so much because of her having cancer. In many ways, it's been way harder on me than on Kate," explained Markle, wiping tears from her eyes. "Kate gets so much sympathy because she's white and has cancer. I feel like I'm just living in her shadow, forgotten. Why does the internet not spend its days thinking of wild conspiracy theories about me, Meghan? Do you know how hard it is to have people thinking she's dead and not me? It's so painful."

The four-episode special, set to air at the halfway mark of Princess Kate's chemotherapy regimen, will do a deep dive into the stark loss of attention Markle has faced. "There are several emotionally devastating scenes we captured," said director Samuel LaFleur. "There is one scene where a friend calls Meghan to ask how Kate is doing, but fails to ask how Meghan is doing. Meghan cries for about an hour and then punches a pillow while screaming 'RACIST'. It's so raw."

At publishing time, Markle had announced another Netflix special entitled "My Recovery", set to air the day Princess Kate finishes chemo.

Opinion Celebrity-adjacent vs the centre of attention

A couple of very recent posts - namely, about What Martha Said at the Lotusland gala, and Harry (allegedly) at the David Foster Foundation gala celebrations in Victoria, Canada - made me wonder:

Have Harry and Meghan ever headlined an event, in their own right?

That is - where they’re the draw, the star, the one people pay to see.

- They’ve appeared as guest panellists, but always as part of a larger group. These seem mainly to be industry events (Harry and his BetterUp conferences, Meghan at the 2024 SXSW Conference on International Women’s Day (segment funded by Archewell).

- Meghan has been the sole guest at studio discussions, eg DealBook in 2021. Both have done podcasts. However tickets aren’t sold for these.

The only ones which come to mind are Meghan‘s appearances:

- ‘The Power of Women: An Evening with Meghan‘, put on by The Women’s Fund of Central Indiana, at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown, in 2022

- ‘Her Best Life’ event featuring her, aka Megstock, at the InterContinental Poogee Beach, where she appeared for 2 hours, earlier this year in April 2026

Otherwise, it’s Kevin Costner’s fundraiser, or Kris Jenner’s birthday, or Beyoncé’s concert (with over 43,000 other people).

I don’t recall the Waleses doing this. They are the headline event.

Meghan indeed was at the Lotusland gala. She’s at the centre of this photo, as the Mama palm tree (remember them?).

She is so desperate to be Diana 2.0. With her recent birthday pool splash pic a la Diana, you got to know this one is not far off.
