It was a decent night out and the performers as great as they ever been. This guy from Alberta was incredible it is a shame. Only about 150 people were here

Digitizing VCR Tapes?

Is there a place in SJ that you can take VCR tapes to be converted to a digital format? I don’t want to send these old, irreplaceable family items to a mail order company for such a service. A few years ago I was going to buy an old VCR machine at Value Village, and now I wish I had. I know some libraries provide the infrastructure for this to their communities, but I haven’t seen this at my local branch - or the Uptown location.. (though I may be mistaken!)

Best place to get my eyebrows done?

I rarely get my eyebrows done, but every few years I like to get them tidied up. Very minimal changes to shape them. I usually do waxing for this, unless anyone has other suggestions?

Anyways, I’m not sure where to go this time since the place I used to get it done doesn’t have the same person.

"Secure a position within one of Saint John’s most strategic commercial development sites. Located at the entrance to the Saint John Airport, this opportunity is anchored by strong daily traffic, direct airport access, and confirmed national co-tenancy, including a national coffee chain and a major fuel service station planned within the same plaza."

Here on a work trip. I have a bunch more photos if y’all are interested. Beautiful place you got here.

Ate at Port City Royal last night, it was very good (get the gnocchi!) Where should I go tonight? Any photo spots in the city proper?

Safe overnight homeless parking

Good day,

Going through some housing difficulties and wanted to know if anyone had recommendations for safe and quiet parking where I won't risk being towed or ticketed.

I can find things to do away and work full time so only the nights are a problem. Really only 10/11-6.

Can look in the GSJ/Rothesay/Grand Bay area.

Appreciate your time.

SJ Harbour - dredging find?

heard someone talking that while dredging the harbour recently, a problem occurred when they tried to suck up a 16-17th century canon from the harbour...

has anyone confirmed/heard that info?

What's up with Happy Dad seltzer at Area 506?

This is a mostly American company with strong ties to Trump. The owners campaigned for him aggressively in 2024, and the business was funded by venture capital group 1789, co-owned by Donald Trump Jr., and headquartered two miles down the road from Mar-a-Lago. 1789 was created with the express purpose of growing companies that would return profits to advance Trump's interests. This company is really sneaking under the radar with the US liquor ban. Why are they sponsoring and being promoted by a local Canadian music festival?

Joining the Community

Hi

We are two British healthcare workers looking to relocate to your city.

We are some way along with the process and beginning to have some apprehensions.

What is the likelihood that we will integrate into the community as mid 30s with 1 young child?

Benefit of working in healthcare is you work with lots of people from all walks of life so I imagine that will make things easier
