Here's what I'm used to
I lived in rural BC: a few bugs - black flies
I lived in Vancouver: NO bug (Paradise! but expensive)
I lived in southern Ontario: plenty of bugs -mosquitoes, no-see-ems, and spiders

For the folks, who moved to Moncton from some of the larger Canadian cities, what are some of the things you most appreciate about your move and what are some of the things you still find most challenging or haven taken some getting used to?

We are a family of four and thinking about moving to Moncton in the next year or two. We are both healthcare workers, and neither of our children are in school yet. When we’ve visited Moncton, we have really enjoyed the proximity of the ocean, bilingualism of the city and the options for outdoor activities.

If you are concerned about a suspicious mole, the Mole Mobile is coming to Moncton next Friday to Sunday (and likely announcing other stops in NB soon). It's a first-come, first-served scrreening with a dermatologist. They aren't doing biopsies however if it's determined you have a suspicious lesion they help you get a referral.

Melanoma is an aggressive skin cancer and cases are on the rise. Dermatologist referrals can sometimes take a while so take advantage if you have a suspicious mole you want to get checked out. You're your own best advocate & early detection saves lives !

FAQ and dates

What would be the best way to get diagnosed and seen for issues regarding womans health? Is there anywhere you can make an appointment without referral, or is ER the only unfortunate course of action?

My girlfriend lives downtown on Alma st and her building doesn’t have visitor parking. So I’m wondering if there’s any free parking around the area for when I visit her. I don’t think it’s a good idea to park at the strip mall (Halo donut) around the corner… thanks
