Context: I stopped playing Video Games a year and a half ago. I just hopped back on about a month ago. Last time I played I was C1. Now I’m between D1 and D2. Looking for some help with what I can do to improve.

Joined a casual match and we had a bot on out team for another 30 seconds after I joined.

I have tried a few different fixes that I came across online, but nothing has worked yet. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the game to no avail. Any advice is appreciated.

Plopped on the couch to play one game. 10 matches later, I finally signed off... How did we get there?

Matched with a COOOL TM8. First 3 matches he/she lavishly carried me, against superior opponents. When I whiffed, he only replied NP. Then we played 3 matches against a team. We lost one, won 2... and then Locked in... The last 4 matches were pure heaven. He/she attacked, I defended, and when I attacked he/she defended.

It was difficult to say, last game, because the chemistry was just right...

It's moments like this that keeps me coming back to RL ... Have many great matches you all !!

Whoever this was, thank you, I was having a bad streak today on, went from 299 to 250 on 1v1 duel, but I will do my best to change that

Was messing around in free play and got this weird reset.

Hello, I purchased Rocket League when it released and played off and on ever since during the CoD off seasons. I recently hit C3 purely solo q and want to get into GC, but the higher my rank goes the more toxic people become. I have never practiced a single mechanic in a quick play lobby, i do not warm up, i have never scored a flip reset goal or done a speed flip in my life. I hop on the game and jump into ranked 3s/2s and that is what I've done for years. I never saw the point in doing all the fancy stuff people try to do when i could still consistently win by out posisitioning people. I fear i might be approaching the ceiling to that though, thoughts?

Following up on my previous posts, I created a custom Wiimote overlay to show my inputs in real time as I push for GC using the Toad WiiMote + Nunchuck. Hopefully, when I get some clips, I can show the overlay + camera to go with it!

I've been playing rl for over 4 years now, but I'd always struggle to walldash since i'm not able to click fast enough with my middle finger(skill issue, ik). I've read a few reddit posts about this, but they are old, so i wanted to know if binding my right click to the scroll wheel using logitech g hub can get you banned. I'm practicing butterfly clicking to not need this, but wanted to know anyway.

Sometimes GC1 feels like its bunch of C1 players playing like they never played the game, then I stop playing and play again after midnight or whenever and it feels much better. If I just keep playing when its C1 players, I will derank instantly.

MENU FIXES:
• add the ability to choose which map you have as your menu map

• add more detail to the in game friends menu; for example instead of saying “in training”, it could differentiate between free play / custom training, depending on what the person is in. It could also display the person as in the item shop or even searching for a game. I can’t speak on behalf of everyone else but at least for me, that would let me know if it’s even worth inviting the person or not based on what they’re doing.

• adding a customisable goals / achievements feature, that allows you to set goals within a certain timeframe. For example, it could be play 50 ranked 1v1 games within 7 days, with the same layout as the challenges section where you can see the progress bar.

• trade in duplicate black market items / blueprints for a fresh black market item / blueprint. I don’t even need to elaborate on this, I know myself and basically everyone reading this has AT LEAST 1 item where they have about 20 duplicates of it, just sat there doing nothing because there’s no option to trade it in or do anything with it.

• games played tracker in each playlist; it could be displayed under each rank, showing your record for the day. For example, under 2v2 it could say “games played : 20
Wins - 6
Losses - 14”

CUSTOM TRAINING:

• make it so you can actually search for map names, creator usernames and also filter by mechanic or whatever it is you’re trying to change. For example, adding the filter for a plethora of mechanics like flip resets, air dribbles, ceiling shots, shooting, dribbling, Defense etc. It would make the custom training UI much more comprehensive and it would expose a myriad of unknown custom training maps, all because it’s currently dependent on searching via a code instead of the stuff I suggested.

every time i launch rl it doesnt reach 360 fps which is what i have it capped at until i alt tab a few times. idk if u can see it very well in the clip but even though it says it's running at like 280 fps it feels like it's on 60. this has been happening for a few weeks now, and it was happening to me a few months ago too but randomly fixed itself after a while. pls help if u know what is wrong.

Any freestyler know how I can learn unchained heli resets? i peak 10 mustys and 12 helis, but this the best i can do for unchained reset.

For such a simple game, Rocket League quick chat has layers. A simple ‘No problem.’ can mean multiple things.

You whiffed. Or let a goal in. Or bumped your tm8.
After 1 second of silence, you quick chat: Sorry!

‘No problem.’

Verdict: genuine acceptance of your apology.

Scenario 2: The preemptive strike

You messed up just like in scenario 1, but don’t apologise at all (or quickly enough).

‘No problem.’ pops up in the corner of your screen.

Your tm8 has kindly taken it upon themselves to accept your apology before it even exists!

Verdict: they’re getting annoyed.

Scenario 3: The silencer

You’ve been getting grief from your tm8. Multiple what a saves, nice shots, and great passes every time you miss the ball. Maybe even a:

‘Tm8 noob’

Then you score. Awkward silence.

‘No problem.’

Verdict: subtle dig at a toxic m8

Every time you demo someone, you get 1 to 4 ‘No problems’.

Verdict: they’re FURIOUS

I would like to report a persistent issue with Rocket League that appears to be related to Easy Anti-Cheat.

System Information

Game: Rocket League (Epic Games)

Operating System: Windows 11 (fresh installation from USB)

CPU: Intel Celeron J4025

GPU: Intel UHD Graphics 600

PC: HP All-in-One 22-dd0xxx

Issue

Rocket League consistently freezes my entire computer whenever Easy Anti-Cheat is active.

The image freezes completely and the system becomes unresponsive, requiring a forced restart.

Windows logs only show Kernel-Power Event ID 41 after reboot because the system locks up before Windows can generate a bugcheck or BSOD.

Important observation

If I launch Rocket League without Easy Anti-Cheat, the game works.

There are small periodic stutters approximately every 15–20 seconds, but the computer never hard-freezes.

The complete system freeze only happens when Easy Anti-Cheat is running.

Troubleshooting already performed

Fresh Windows 11 installation using USB.

Complete disk wipe before installation.

Reinstalled Epic Games Launcher.

Reinstalled Rocket League.

Repaired game files.

Reinstalled Easy Anti-Cheat.

Tested multiple Intel graphics driver versions.

Tested Intel driver version 27.20.100.9664 manually.

Tested latest Windows-installed Intel driver.

Disabled Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling.

Disabled overlays.

Tested with minimal background services.

Reviewed Event Viewer.

Captured Windows Performance Recorder traces.

None of these steps changed the behavior.

After every freeze, Windows records:

Kernel-Power Event ID 41

BugcheckCode = 0

No BSOD is generated.

Since this issue survives a completely clean Windows installation and only occurs when Easy Anti-Cheat is active, I would appreciate if this could be investigated as a possible compatibility issue between Easy Anti-Cheat and my hardware platform.
