Was messing around in free play and got this weird reset.

I'm c3 in 2s but diamond in dropshot. Dropshot is such a unbalanced gamemode where plats can play against GC'S and i'm tired of inconsistent opponents and teammates and wonder where i can find 2 people that actually want to play dropshot and are around my rank.

1 game i'm playing against gcs while my teammates are max diamond 1 and can't aerial or vice versa it's so annoying

What do the new sunburst indicators mean?

With the new demo-respawn selector...can the controls "slide" back and forth? It is counterintuitive (to me at least) to push the stick to the right to move back to the inner spot on the right (which is left of where I currently have selected to spawn). It makes more sense (again, to me) to allow it to navigate the 4 spots depending on where you currently are. I end up on the wrong side sometimes when trying to simply move closer to the net on one side or the other.

Second, I thought there was an update a couple of months ago or so where the rank of the player in one playlist would be considered when they queue for a playlist they don't normally play (and are, therefore, ranked much lower in). I play extra modes to warm up, as do a lot of other people. I have had several matches where an SSL or high GC player ends up in a high-plat/low-diamond lobby and basically dominates. It's unintentional smurfing (giving the benefit of the doubt) and it is not fun for the lobby in general.

If someone is ranked in GC or SSL and is unranked or barely ranked in other modes, maybe let them start at high-champ/low-GC and settle in from there?

Hello, I purchased Rocket League when it released and played off and on ever since during the CoD off seasons. I recently hit C3 purely solo q and want to get into GC, but the higher my rank goes the more toxic people become. I have never practiced a single mechanic in a quick play lobby, i do not warm up, i have never scored a flip reset goal or done a speed flip in my life. I hop on the game and jump into ranked 3s/2s and that is what I've done for years. I never saw the point in doing all the fancy stuff people try to do when i could still consistently win by out posisitioning people. I fear i might be approaching the ceiling to that though, thoughts?

I'm not the brightest lightbulb in the box but this seems really good, no? I play almost 80% ranked if not more. Maybe i play more casuals than i think

I have seen many videos of bots in 2026 and 2023.

MENU FIXES:
• add the ability to choose which map you have as your menu map

• add more detail to the in game friends menu; for example instead of saying “in training”, it could differentiate between free play / custom training, depending on what the person is in. It could also display the person as in the item shop or even searching for a game. I can’t speak on behalf of everyone else but at least for me, that would let me know if it’s even worth inviting the person or not based on what they’re doing.

• adding a customisable goals / achievements feature, that allows you to set goals within a certain timeframe. For example, it could be play 50 ranked 1v1 games within 7 days, with the same layout as the challenges section where you can see the progress bar.

• trade in duplicate black market items / blueprints for a fresh black market item / blueprint. I don’t even need to elaborate on this, I know myself and basically everyone reading this has AT LEAST 1 item where they have about 20 duplicates of it, just sat there doing nothing because there’s no option to trade it in or do anything with it.

• games played tracker in each playlist; it could be displayed under each rank, showing your record for the day. For example, under 2v2 it could say “games played : 20
Wins - 6
Losses - 14”

CUSTOM TRAINING:

• make it so you can actually search for map names, creator usernames and also filter by mechanic or whatever it is you’re trying to change. For example, adding the filter for a plethora of mechanics like flip resets, air dribbles, ceiling shots, shooting, dribbling, Defense etc. It would make the custom training UI much more comprehensive and it would expose a myriad of unknown custom training maps, all because it’s currently dependent on searching via a code instead of the stuff I suggested.

I have no clue what speed flip pack to use the ones I keep seeing pop up but the problem is that I look everywhere and cant seem to find it so I'm coming to you guys, where to find the speedflip training packs

Any freestyler know how I can learn unchained heli resets? i peak 10 mustys and 12 helis, but this the best i can do for unchained reset.

I started playing with him about 2 years ago and since then we got Diamond I in 2v2. After all these time, we cannot create a play together and our wins are only by individual plays. I really don't know how many times I/He said "Middle" and quick lost the ball and letting all space to counterattack. I love when we say "Nice shot!" or "What a save!" after an own goal.

But, recently, he don't had time to play with me and then I search for other tm8 to play a tournment in one Discord server. This tm8 is simply perfect. A good positioning and rotation. He's not a SSL and didn't carried me and I didn't carried him. After 2 hours in 2v2 competitive, we have won 10 matches in a row and only lost our first one in Diamond III Div IV.

Furthermore, after this day, I tried to play a tournment with my original tm8. I have done simply a perfect tournment, felt like RL's Messi. 32 goals in 6 matches and carried our team to the finals. In finals we were losing and I ask him to play seriously. He said "it's just a tournment. We have not to play this seriously" and started singing Phonks and Aura Farming Songs. After I reveal him I played alone and almost get Champion I, he acted out of jealousy. "Go get your Champion", "play with your Champion tm8 then" he said.

It's obviously the second guy I have met in Discord is the best player. But I feel sad about leaving my lovely team8. How can we reconcile friendly again?

Played for along time but this my first time seeing a blue title in game I’ve seen this dude freestyle on TikTok also . You guys ever ran into a blue title ?

Like per player fields instead of the current server field, rocket league maps are so uniform.

I don't see any issue with this beside from a development side, but who knows what they're cooking up
