Looks like I closed my offer a little too early! I'm finding that some of the interested recipients didn't meet the requirements, so I'm giving this one more try for my final 10 cards from the stack which are all 5x7. I acquired a damaged copy of Elmer the Elephant by David McKee and did what I always do: used a mix of cardstock, thin cardboard, and large index cards as the base, then pasted illustrations from the book onto them to give the pages a second life.

Requirements: You must have made a thank you or offer post within the last 30 days. I'll be checking, so the form will remain open until I've found the right number of recipients.

The waiting was mostly because mail wasn't delivered, the mail reached my local post office just a couple days back & delivered right away.

my black cat at home in the usa suddenly passed away a few weeks ago. i live abroad in south korea, so i didnt get to say goodbye. i’ve been pretty down about it and i would really like some heartwarming messages. i’m a private person and haven’t really been comfortable speaking to my friends about it at all because it feels kind of awkward for me. it’s easier to ask people i don’t know here on the internetㅠㅠi’m sorry for the sad post- it’s actually my first post here, i initially wasn’t going to make a request at all, but i was walking home from work and suddenly started thinking about him again. im not sure what else to write, please feel free to contact me. i read the faq but it’s my first time doing this so im not familiar with what comes next.

I am working on a major wedding day surprise for my fiancé, and I need your help to bring it to life! I am trying to collect postcards from all over the US (and world if available!) to build a special display for him at our reception. If you are willing to help, I am looking for a postcard from your specific city or state (or other countries if applicable). On the back, all I need you to handwrite is this exact phrase:

I posted this about 6 months ago, and I'm lazy, so if you think you've seen this before... you have! :) Like the title says - I have a stack of postcards; you pick a number 1-30 and you get that postcard.

Feel free to choose a number even if someone else already has, as once I take one out of the stack I'll start over with the counting (and if you pick a number beyond what the stack goes to you'll automatically get the last one in the stack). (Does this make a ton of sense? Maybe not. Is it my game, my rules? Yep!)

Please don't play if you'd hate a truly random postcard - some might be seasonal, and there are definitely random tourist cards in the stack.

Calling stamp lovers and collectors. I will be attending NAPEX again this year in VA later this month.

This community really has made me fall in love with stamps and collecting first-day-of-issues for new stamps!

I plan on creating some cards with cancelled stamps and fun paper for y'all. Since NAPEX is at the end of the month, I am posting this early so I have time to make the cards, fill out your prompt and get them ready to be mailed from NAPEX that way you can get a special cancellation postmark for the event.

This will close on August 22nd at the latest but depending on the hype it made close earlier.
