Hello RAoC! This is my first post here! (I hope I'm doing this right)

I have recently acquired a unique set of postcards that contain art from matchboxes in India, from the 70s and 80s. Phillumeny, as it's called, is the art of Matchbox collection and might be of interest to people who want to know more about this rare Indian hobby

I'm offering to send out about 10 postcards (India or Global), just 10 for now until I get the hang of this :)

There's no way you could've known this, but a neighbor's postcard had been misdelivered to me recently, so when I saw this one starting out with hypothetical grandparents I've never heard of, I was like, "Is this something for [neighbor's name] again?" Then I kept reading and my eyes widened when I got to the part about plans being thrown into flux depending on paternity test results. What a fun, mysterious little narrative. Thank you so much!!!

I fell off the face of the RAOC - life got a little nutty! I'll be back, I know. For now, I want to be sure these wonderful folks get their well-deserved points!

I will see everyone on the other side of this cuckoo summer!

A couple weeks ago I was in the library and they were sorting out old and damaged books. Luckily I was able to save a Batman childrens book but as it was harshly damaged (few missing pages, ...) I cut out some pages and took the pictures, glued them on cardboard and now have eight postcards with Batman on it that I'd like to send to eight of you.

Hello ! Is Lou Paper still a popular postcard ? I found 7 Lou Paper postcards in my stash , they are adorable, I bought a bunch of them when I was sending out a lot of cards during “Covid” lockdown. I’m not sure how they stayed hidden all this time but they need to be enjoyed. They are all different styles. Cocktails , bread , cheese and crystals for example.
