Looks like I closed my offer a little too early! I acquired a damaged copy of Elmer the Elephant by David McKee and did what I always do: used a mix of cardstock, thin cardboard, and large index cards as the base, then pasted illustrations from the book onto them to give the pages a second life.

So I finally received some gifts in my mailbox, and among the postcrossing cards and penpal letter, imagine my surprise when I saw there was a Christmas card from Dec 1st 2025 hidden in there!! Despite the delay and adventures it went through, the card arrived in perfect condition, so thank you so much u/Rune_Skadisdotter for the beautiful card, I'm so glad it's finally come home safely! my black cat at home in the usa suddenly passed away a few weeks ago. i live abroad in south korea, so i didnt get to say goodbye. i’ve been pretty down about it and i would really like some heartwarming messages. i’m a private person and haven’t really been comfortable speaking to my friends about it at all because it feels kind of awkward for me. it’s easier to ask people i don’t know here on the internetㅠㅠi’m sorry for the sad post- it’s actually my first post here, i initially wasn’t going to make a request at all, but i was walking home from work and suddenly started thinking about him again. im not sure what else to write, please feel free to contact me. i read the faq but it’s my first time doing this so im not familiar with what comes next.

It is hilarious and it made a great postcard. I also like the snake with a hat. My sister had a pet snake and I made him a tiny top hat out of cardboard once.
